I would NOT recommend! The facility is great and sci fi vibes which I love :). Noelle, my dental hygienist was fantastic! BEWARE ann MAKE SURE they check your insurance and DEF get the price before you do anything. I have been with the same insurance for 10 plus years. We have excellent insurance. Tend is trying to charge 4 x the price that any other dentist in Nashville has charged. I was charged for the first visit which is meant to be free according to Tend plus I get free cleanings 2 per year, but my tooth needed heavy cleaning which my insurance has a price of 90ish dollars but Tend charged me 150ish dollars. When we called to further inquire as to why: First off we got corporate, not our local office and Secondly, we had a corporate person tell us the opposite of what our insurance told us (and what we have experienced for the last 10 years). When we asked why they are not honoring our insurance they said they would refund me once cleared by insurance which makes no sense.. We never have experienced this and we use insurance loads and secondly why would they charge me more out of pocket than what our insurance is meant to pay, again, rubbish! Then the corporate lady said to just call the insurance and sort it.... which again makes no sense. Very bad experience. Here is how bid the price difference is: My insurance is $300 for a crown and they are quoting me with my insurance .. almost $2000! HUGE PRICE DIFFERENCE... and I was in network. Makes no sense. After speaking to corporate and getting no help at all, I decided that I would cancel my follow up. Guess what.. I was unable to cancel online or find the number to East Nashville office. I had to call corporate again. Total inconvenience. I am annoyed beyond words because I made a point several times to ask about insurance and they told me several times, insurance was covered, No problem. It is really a shame as I loved Noelle. She did an excellent job. In conclusion..... Beware and make sure they don't charge you a ridiculous amount.. Have them check your insurance before and DONT take their word for it if they say your normal copay insurance was fine. Even if they were right, which they are not... they did not even try to help or explain when questioned. Real shame.

Everything was going really well until it was discovered I had cavities. I have never had a cavity in my life so getting a filling isn’t something I’m familiar with. I let them know this. I was numbed with the topical gel on the left side of my mouth prior to the first round of anesthetic injections. When it was determined I wasn’t numb enough on that side, I was told that the doctor would be in to administer more anesthetic. The dentist came in and immediately administered an anesthetic injection to the right side of my mouth. I attempted to stop him and question things and he did not address my concerns and instead administered yet another anesthetic injection to the right side of my mouth. He told me he had decided that he would do all my fillings at once instead of what I had been told which was left side this visit and right side at a future visit. I think this is highly inappropriate and that he should’ve better communicated his plans with me. I was in so much pain and so upset and he chastised me for moving and for not being able to handle it. I have never wanted to end an experience so much in my life. After all of that, we were only able to complete the left side because I was too shaken up to sit through any more of it. How can I trust a person who treats me in such a way? I don’t want to come back to finish my remaining fillings, but I don’t have a choice as they have already taken my money. Honestly, I have never had a more traumatic experience in my entire life. I can say that after I finish my fillings I definitely won’t be going back to Tend and I will not recommend it to anyone. Since this awful experience I have had nothing but issues getting ahold of a supervisor to discuss my experience, whether locally or with Tend’s corporate. It’s been a month and despite being promised an immediate call back on 4 separate occasions, I have heard nothing and I am still having issues with pain in my mouth I didn’t have before. Do yourself a favor and go to a real dentist and skip out on the aesthetically pleasing option because that’s all Tend is.

The company in general isn’t good. I was given such trouble before my appt. My partner gets a message claiming “his” insurance had expired which made zero sense since our insurance was active and it’s under me. I called them and the customer service people literally said they didn’t know what that was about but it should be fine and just show up to the appt. Their customer service is pretty bad along with long wait times. My biggest issue is I called them and asked about the upfront costs. They said they would call back if they run my insurance and their was an associated cost…no call back BUT the day of the appointment they wanted over $100 saying oh well actually it’s only 80% covered?!? I had to reschedule and they said it was re scheduled, even called a second time to verified the appt; show up to the appt and I wasn’t on the schedule at all. I went to the East Nashville location and the two upfront ladies were not friendly. The “gift” is a dollar store blue bag with a dollar store toothbrush, strange tasting toothpaste and a coupon for a better tooth brush LOL! However! They want you to brush your teeth before hand (which everyone should know to brush before they even show up) BUT the place to brush your teeth is a little cut out with no door in the lobby!! Strangers watching you is not comfortable. The TV situation while in the ceiling..they only have maybe 5 shows to pick from that are cooking hgtv type shows. The TV “perk” is useless. This practice isn’t worth the expense or the hype.

Do not go any Tend. The facilities are lovely, but customer service is lazy and staff is negligent. I went to Tend due to dental pain, and it was recommended that I follow up with an oral surgeon. I watched the hygienist hand over paperwork to be send to the oral surgeon along with a release for x-rays that the office had taken earlier. When I got in with the surgeon several days later, they said they had contacted Tend, but no one would return their call. Due to the pain I was in, I went on and let them take more x-rays. Since Tend had just taken images, my insurance would not cover it. The first customer service agent I spoke with kept trying to make me say I never gave consent for a referral and seemed high. The second customer service agent I spoke with said they would have someone reach out — no one ever reached out. When I wrote to Tend after surgery, they said their team was unable to provide a resolution due to not being able to be clear in writing. I let them know I had stitches — they can talk; but I have to write. I later get a response after having to follow up with them denying any wrongdoing and saying that records aren’t ready until 72hrs later. . .the record request was 72hrs later.

This was dental experience unlike any other and in a good way! The office is clean and modern and the staff are so friendly! When you actually sit in the exam chair, you’re immediately comfortable as the chairs have really good lumbar and neck support. Before my cleaning, the hygienists explained everything and was super sweet! And the best part, you get to pick out your own sunglasses that are actually cute…not that it makes a difference with how much it’s blocking out the light when you lay back but it’s the principle of the matter and I love it! Before you recline, you’re given wireless head phones that are connected via Bluetooth to the TV that is ON THE CEILING so you can watch something while they work on your mouth! How cool is that?! I felt like the assessments done by the hygienist and doctor were thorough and recommendations were made that made sense and did not give me the impression that they simply wanted me to do something simply to make an extra buck. Anyway, I could say more but this is already a long review. All in all, it was very positive and I’m excited to go back!

Dentist usually make me super anxious, which is why I haven't been to one in quite a long time. I saw an advertisement for the establishment on tiktok so I decided to finally set up an appointment to be seen. You can set up an appointment completely online while also inputting your insurance. They will let you know ahead of time if there is a payment before they begin. Everyone was very nice and super friendly! The person that worked with me was an Allison and she was super nice and talked me through the process. Along with a Dr. That talked me through what I would need to help get my teeth back into working order. You also get to watch a TV show from their selection to keep you entertained and a little distracted while they work on your teeth! It was an overall, very pleasant experience and will definitely recommend them to my friends and especially family since they get super nervous about visiting a dentist as well.

After a 2nd opinion visit with another dentist, I found that the dentist at Tend missed 3 teeth that needed work on them. I went in for a cleaning and X-rays which is always free as it is preventative, and recognized that if I needed additional work done, I would find another place to do it. Their X-rays showed that I needed various work done on 4 teeth. Since they currently are not in network with insurance, they gave me my treatment plan and I chose to go somewhere else that would take my insurance. At my new dentist, he off the bat found 3 more teeth that needed work done on them, meaning Tend missed 3 issues that I had with my teeth. Also, their prices were significantly higher than the pre-insurance price at my new, even nicer dentist office. While the atmosphere at Tend is “pretty” and “Instagrammable,” these findings make me wonder how good the dentists at this boutique office actually are at doing their jobs.

Great atmosphere here! I was immediately put at ease; it reminded me more of a fancy dermatology office than the Dentist. The appointment was easy to make online and super straightforward. And by that, I mean the night before my appointment I couldn't sleep because of the realization I didn't know the last time I'd been to the dentist, so I googled "sedation dentistry" and looked at multiple websites before panic-scheduling my next day appointment with Tend. My hygienist, Noelle, was great and she and Dr. Pollard made me feel like a few girls casually discussing teeth, instead of talking about filling my cavity. I hadn't been to the dentist in years and I had the wrong tooth removed once, so I have a lot of dental anxiety. I was so surprised by how painless and pleasant the experience was! I definitely recommend Tend and these two ladies. However, all the staff were welcoming, relaxed, and just straight good vibes.

This was the easiest and most pleasant dental experience I have ever had!! I’ve had other good dentist, but it’s usually 6 months to get an appointment. I have a busy schedule and sometimes it will change from the time that I scheduled my appointment. The fact that I had tons of time options to make an appointment, was such a huge selling point for me to try this clinic! Also, I had a previous dentist tell me I had 12 cavities and needed them all filled. I came to tend for a second opinion, Dr. Joe and Allison both assured me that I did NOT have a single cavity that needed to be filled. I truly felt like the previous dentist was just trying to get money out of me. I did not feel this way at all at Tend. I felt like they really cared about my oral health and just wanted to do what was best for me! I will be keeping them as my dentist going forward, and cannot recommend them enough!!

I ABHOR going to the dentist. Lots of terrible and traumatic dental experiences — mishandled surgeries, aggressive hygienists, sexist dentists, procedural complications, aggressive & pressuring front desk staff, extreme expense, unnecessary services, etc … It’s typically an extremely stressful experience for me, personally. Tend made it (virtually) painless — in every way possible. Everyone is kind, gentle, informative, listens, advises rather than scolds or pressures, recommended and educated me on my options for going forward, got creative with solutions, etc. I even got to watch TV with headphones to drown out the nails-on-a-chalkboard sounds! Basically, if you hate the dentist as much as I do, go to Tend! I loved it so much I’m going back for braces and whitening because they made me feel THAT comfortable. Well done, Tend team! Thank you so much and welcome to Nash!!❤️

My wife and I made an appointment and called the day before to double check if our insurance had been accepted. The morning of we also called and they said that it was still pending and that we could reschedule. Point was we did not and the person said normally there’s a no show fee but because we called ahead and it’s insurance purposes we would not be charged. The day after I check my bank account and I had been charged. I called after that to ask why I got charged after been told I wouldn’t and they put in a case to be refunded and I would get a text when to expect the refund. Which would be 3 or so days after submitting the request. I called today and they said that it had been “resolved” upon asking what was the resolution they said it had been declined. My wife and I are extremely angry and will never go to Tend dental now unless resolved properly with my refund

I went today for the 1st time and highly recommend. Check in was a breeze and the ladies at the front desk were great. My hygienist was friendly and explained everything she was doing, and checked in appropriately during the cleaning. They provide sunglasses to wear as you lie in the chair, and also tailor a tv show towards you + provide headphones to wear during the cleaning too. That combo made the cleaning go by very quickly and I wasn’t stressed from dental office machine noises. Lastly, the dentist did not tell me I needed any additional work done or upsell anything - he simply asked if I had interest in making changes (whitening, any other services, etc) and when I said No Thanks there was no pressure to change my mind…. Quite refreshing for dental offices. I’m happy to have found Tend.

I entered all of my insurance information in online and called twice in the week leading up to my appointment to make sure everything was settled and was assured that they had my info and if I didn’t receive a text within 72 hours, there would be no out-of-pocket costs. I also checked my profile the night before which stated there would be no out-of-pocket costs. I got there on the morning I took off from work and they told me not only had they not run my benefits, they somehow didn’t even have my insurance information. I waited 45 minutes to be told they couldn’t verify my insurance and, therefore, could not guarantee no extra costs. Don’t waste your money on a trendy experience. Go to a dentist’s office that knows what they’re doing.

So impressed with the team over at Tend Nashville. I am sensitive to loud noises which is why I wanted to find a dentist that does things differently. The headphones helped a lot and the whole visit was very relaxing. They sent me a text confirmation to confirm my insurance had been accepted a few days before my appt & even double checked at the front desk when I came in. Fluoride ended up being a bit more expensive than expected but they did inform me about the cost & gave me the choice not to get it at the beginning. Cleaning & X-rays were all completely covered. Overall, super happy & my smile is clean & healthy!

Firstly, my experience with the Dentist, and staff at the East Nashville studio was wonderful. They were excellent, and kind. I had to have a tooth extracted, and they made it as pain free, and comfortable as possible. Unfortunately, the call center is an absolute headache. You can not reach out to your local studio directly. This means that any questions about prescriptions, or follow up care must go through a third party. Each time that I have tried to call, I have been on hold for a minimum of 15 minutes. Then, waited forever for a call back with an answer to my question, if they called back at all.

All ill say is some of the people in there need to smoke a joint. saying you’re trying not to be judgmental after being incredibly rude is laughable. Cant put the bullet back in the gun. Dont talk to your patients like they just missed curfew now needing discipline. Shout out the the one nurse who was shadowing that day. You were very kind therefore none of above pertains to you. All that aside i was impressed by the facility and how in depth the visit was… medically. Its a shame to not be able to continue treatment here. I 100% know if i went to a Tend in NYC this wouldn’t have happened.

Cleaning went fine, nice facility, nice hygienist, but at the end they said "and now we'll do a fluoride treatment." They made it seem like it was all just part of a regular visit so I didn't think much of it. When they were done and walked me out to the front, they charged me $60 for fluoride. If I had known it was an optional add on I would have asked them not to!!! Super shady to not give me a choice and not tell me how much it would cost and then charge me. I'd recommend either looking elsewhere or asking every step of the way about pricing. Very disappointing.

Cute lobby which ends there. I needed to get a fractured crown redone. They promised the turnaround time of 1.5 weeks and it took 45 before my new crown. They quoted $650 and it ended up costing $1k. I had a panic attack with all the loud noises going on. They didn’t call to check on me the next day at all. Scheduling is a pain because you have to deal with corporate instead of directly speaking with the local office. Super expensive and not worth it. Go with a local dentist who actually cares about your health.

Tend was amazing! I heard about them on social media and figured I might as well check and see if they took my insurance- they were out of network but still covered! Allyson did my cleaning and exam, she was very nice and answered all the questions I had. Tend is unlike any dentist I've been to before- it felt very modern. They provided headphones and sunglass and had Netflix on a ceiling-mounted TV, which was super cool! Booked my next appointment- loved it here and will definitely refer my friends.

Terrible experience, teeth whitening with inexperience new techs talking about me as if I was not there, discussing not burning my gums with the bleaching agents and ending up after many tries not bleaching anything and charging my card $500 Called their customer service and after holding for an hour they gave me a number for a supervisor- the number is not a working number. The company basically send you into a fake customer service where they take your call n nothing else. Terrible company.

I’m so glad I ignored the negative nellies and booked an appointment. Allison Coker, my hygienist, was great — calmed my nerves, thoroughly explained everything as she was doing it, and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. I’m excited about my treatment plan and feel that there was transparency with the pricing breakdown and timeline of appointments. Parking was easy, everything was beautiful, and I’ve always hated the dentist but I would *almost* say this appointment was fun!

From the moment you enter your in a relaxed atmosphere that only gets better. The front desk gives you a refresh kit brush and their own toothpaste along with cold canned water. You are then escorted to your prepared dental suite and your in depth consultation begins. Your mouth is then thoroughly examined and then explained the necessary steps to have a healthier mouth. Great overall experience and will be getting all my dental work done here

Updating my review: I would get my teeth cleaned here but I would not get any dental work. I had 2 cavities refilled and I started having sensitivity so I went back to have him look at it. He didn’t fix the problem so I got a second opinion from my old dentist and she’s going to have to replace all of the fillings because they are leaking and that’s what was causing the pain. Yea it’s a cute dentist office but not reliable dentist work.

A friendly and welcoming environment. Felt like I was going for a spa day. The whole experience felt very personalized and tender. Everyone explained exactly what they were doing before they did it. I am someone with major dental anxiety and Tend has made it easy for me to actually keep up with cleanings every 6 months. Never once felt judged. And felt educated while we talked through problem areas, how to do better, etc.

I've been to Tend twice now (cleaning + whitening) and I can't say enough about their amazing hygienists. The aesthetic is inviting, the suite is personalized, they have headphones, multiple sunglasses to choose from, so many great things to say but the friendliness and care of the hygienists was next level. I've seen Noelle, Chelsea and Allyson and they were all so kind, gentle and friendly. HIGHLY recommend.

Allyson was so so so kind to me and took such great care of me. We bonded over being from Louisiana, and she took extra care to walk me through every step and double check everything she did. The best experience I’ve ever had at a dentist office! I was very anxious about going to a dentist because it had been a few years, but everyone was so kind and welcoming and helpful. It felt like they took everything you could hate about the dentist and replaced it with something pleasant (that they could anyway haha)! They truly make you feel special and at home! Almost feels like a spa!

Easily the best experience I’ve ever had at the dentist! I had a broken tooth, and they got me right in. Loved the easy process of online booking and paperwork. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into every detail. I almost fell asleep while getting a filling! Never thought I’d be able to say that. I can’t believe I’m actually excited to go back and get my teeth cleaned. 11/10!

My experience with tend was amazing from start to finish. The booking process was fast and simple. The office is GORGEOUS, and Allyson was so personable and professional. She walked me through everything and gave me a personalized regimen that made me feel like she truly cares about MY oral health. Everyone was excellent. I had a dental emergency and they were able to see me on a Saturday less than 24 hours after I called. Once I arrived everyone from the front desk associates to the Dentist was extremely friendly and kind. They explained everything they were doing, why they were doing it and consistently asked if I had any questions. 10/10 highly recommend

I really enjoyed my visit to tend. I was nervous that I'd be lied to about needing unnecessary dental procedures, but the dentist took time to show me everything himself and explain what I needed and why I needed it. So I've decided to follow through with my treatment plan with tend, which was perfectly planned out in portions that are reasonable.

First time here and we will always be back. My wife and I were seen at our scheduled time and in and out after an hour with clean teeth. The hygienist and dentist were both caring and informative. The place is super clean and full of tech, I ckuding a ceiling tv and wireless headphones to watch shows while getting your teeth worked on.

I had the most positive experience at Tend! I had Allyson as my dental hygienist, and I cannot speak more positively of her! She was super patient and gave me really good advice/dental information. As someone who gets very nervous at the dentist, this was the smoothest and most wonderful experience I’ve ever had. I highly recommend!

I usually feel a lot of anxiety around the dentist but Tend was different. From the time I walked into the door until I was leaving I never once felt uncomfortable or anxious. This was my initial visit, an "emergency" visit because of a broken tooth. I was able to make an emergency appointment through their website over the weekend. Great that they have that option! Everyone was very nice, and it's a beautiful new facility. Haven't had any actual work done yet, but my first visit makes me optimistic. :)

I typically do not like going to the dentist, but I LOVE this place. It’s like a spa for your teeth. Just had my first visit and I’ll be going here from now on. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, the space is modern and clean, the tv’s on the ceiling queue’d up to your show are a great touch. Highly recommended!

Very professional team!!! from the begining to the end. The enviroment is awesome. I was having a really bad toothache on a Friday before Labor Day weekend, every dentist was close 'till Tuesday, you guys were the only Dentist open and willing to take walk ins. THANK YOU VERY MUCH. Everyone was so kind! I was very impressed. As soon as you go in, you’re greeted with a smile. They give you the tools necessary to brush before you’re cleaning in the cutest little room. You watch tv while the hygienist is working and everything is quick and painless! Would highly recommend.

The hygienists are great, which is why I gave 2 stars. The woman at the front desk with dark hair and the Monroe piercing is awful and has a nasty attitude. I won’t be coming back for this reason, I refuse to pay someone to be rude to me.

Today was my first visit. The East Nashville office is conveniently located for my needs, and the reception staff were friendly, welcoming and accommodating. The dental assistants were knowledgeable and helpful. Taking X-rays was easy.

Had a great experience at Tend! My crown came off and I was able to make an appt the next morning at 8 AM. Dr Joe was able to easily glue my crown back on. I was in and out in an hour and they only charged me $88 with the insurance.
