Update: David, the owner, contacted me and we had a very productive conversation. I am impressed that he reviewed the situation, acknowledged where the team didn't perform to the high standards he set, and he said he is committed to helping get the outstanding issues addressed and resolved. I'm impressed with the owner and am updating the review. He said he doesn't want any customer to experience what I have experienced. Taking accountability for issues and having a commitment to customer service is rare and David is doing that. Thank you. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ I'm really disappointed in the service Terry's provided. My family has taken cars to Terry's for over 25 years and have never had an issue. My Hyundai was stalling, I towed it to Terry's, and spent $3000 to have a throttle body, power train module and computer module replaced. The gear shift lights were flashing when I picked it up and they told me to drive and it should resolve. Two weeks later, the car died on the street. I towed it again to Terry's for them to tell me the computer part they replaced needed to be programmed. They didn't know how to do it and it had to be taken to a dealership. I asked them to make the appointment: 1) I felt they should have taken care of this as part of the initial paid service 2) I did not know how to articulate the issue to the dealer. I asked the manager on duty if he would look into this - as I thought programming the part they put into the car should be included with service ... he left me sitting in the lobby for 10 mins and did not come back to speak with me. The service advisor said they made the appointment at the dealership and I could take the car and get it programmed... I called the dealership to confirm the time to bring the car in for service only to find out the appointment was not made. I called Terry's to help me find the appt (was it under a different name/Terry's/etc..) and the service advisor said he called alot of places and couldn't remember where the appointment was located. Overall, I am so disappointed in the lack of empathy or care, the unwillingness to own their mistake (not getting the computer part programmed), and I hope other people think twice before taking their car to Terry's. I will never go back. The old Terry's owners/advisors would have never treated a customer this way.

This review is two-fold. Unfortunately, I could not be as glowing as I had hoped because I had been impressed by the other reviews written, plus had a personal referral that lead me to Terry's. Kristen in the office was nice on the phone. I was leaking coolant and ended up with a new water pump. Not cheap, but needed clearly. My problem arose when I had an 830am appointment, which I brought in my vehicle the afternoon before so it could be started on time the next morning. By 11am, I hadn't heard anything, so I called and spoke to Joe, who informed me that my vehicle hadn't been looked at yet, but would be next. Two hours later, I called back and they still had not looked at it. I received excuses instead of an apology, or an honest answer. I understand cars get backed up, but I need to be kept in the loop. Originally, I had been told it would be approximately 5hrs of work and should receive it the same day. Clearly that was not happening. When I called back the third time, I reached Dave, who was very helpful and seemed to genuinely care. My car still had not been checked, by now it was 330p. Dave said he would pull it in and have it looked at immediately. He called thirty minutes later to inform me of the work done. Said they would start it first thing in the morning. He was the only one who got things done. I figured I would have it by noon so I would be able to use my car for the weekend. Nope. Three working days and two weekend days later, I picked up my car on a Monday, to an indifferent Joe who didn't seem to notice or care that my car took 5 days to repair a 3-4hr job. (I called around and got other estimates....albeit a bit too late to pull my car from Terry's). Clearly people love them, because their shop and parking lot is full, however, my car won't be returning there due to lack of communication, consideration, and customer service. If they just would have been honest and said that my appointment was meaningless because they weren't going to be able to get my car in, I would have understood and figured out another solution. Lesson learned.

What started as a bit chaotic ended well thanks to the folks at Terry's. I brought my car in on a Tuesday for a voluntary suspension diagnostic on my car. I knew going in that it needed quite a bit of work, and the diagnostic confirmed this. Terry's quoted me what most would probably consider a large amount for parts and labor, but I found the price pretty reasonable considering the amount of work required and their countless reviews for quality work. I left the car with them and approved the repairs. By Friday afternoon, my vehicle was ready for pickup. Unfortunately, within ten miles of picking up my vehicle, it developed a nasty metal on metal grinding sound when applying the brakes. I called Terry's back and we agreed to tow the car back for a follow up. Unfortunately, the follow up would take a bit of time to get to due to the shop being closed on the weekends. After a brief phone follow up on Monday, I received a call this morning notifying me that my car was all set. There was a missing brake caliper bolt from the work performed on the suspension, causing the brake rotor to wobble in the caliper while applying the brakes. Terry's replaced the bolt and double checked every other bolt in the suspension components. When picking up my vehicle this morning, Terry's did not charge me for the replaced bolt. They also cut me a check on the spot for the tow back to the shop this weekend. Am I happy that I the vehicle broke within ten miles of the original expensive repair and had to be towed back on the weekend? Not really, especially because it happened on a busy weekend for me at work. However, I give the staff at Terry's a lot of credit for their swift work to fix the problem, as well as asking no questions about covering the tow back to the shop. Mistakes do happen, and I respect their attitude of "customer first" when it came to fixing the problem.

You made this seamless and went above expectations, which I know is your style:-) The Sequoia left the shop and headed to NC without any probs. Yesterday when the original alternator went out as I was headed out of state, you graciously jumped in to get me back on the road. Cody, Zack, David, Kristin and everyone at Terry's, THANK YOU!! You always go above & beyond to take care of your customers. Thank you, again!!! Your crew stayed on top of a problem that another shop had created 3 years ago. You carefully looked through what was happening and got to the bottom of it!! We are now at 367,000 miles and are running amazing!!! I look forward to your taking care of my truck for another 300,000+ miles!

This is my third visit to Terry's Service Center. I had 2 jobs done this time - (1) to replace the two headlight assemblies; (2) to fix the electrical wiring and the lining under the front right bumper. Let's start with (2). The lining did not stay up. As a matter of fact, it came off almost immediately, a day or two after getting my car back. This may not be due to workmanship, as it appears that new lining was put in. It may be due to the fact that my tires are too large. They are too close to the lining, and hence the problem. Still, I did pay money to have it fixed. Joe was very good in saying that when I change the tire size in the near future, I can bring the car back and he'll fix it. I appreciate that. Now that I have slowly built trust for Terry's Service Center, I have no reason to doubt that he will honor the promise. As for (1), you all did a wonderful job. The new headlights are working wonderfully, and I couldn't be happier. Joe and Reese worked with me during the entire duration of the job, which I, again, greatly appreciated. They took care of my car in terms of storage when work was not performed on it. Then Reese surprised me by finishing the job earlier than your staff complement permitted at the time, which I understood. All in all, I am continuing to develop greater trust in Terry's Service Center. Even though the prices are high, I so appreciate the transparency and honesty that you continue to exhibit. Thank you.

Ok, they are very friendly and pleasant, but they are way overpriced. I have to give them credit that they probably don't lie about what is needed like rip off shops do, but I took my Honda CRV in to just get the serpentine belt replaced. I called ahead to ask how much it would cost. This should not be hard to give a quote on ,given the software that exists now. It's a cut and dried job. The guy said $150-200. Since the shop is very convenient to where I live, I thought that was fairly reasonable. I called the closest Honda dealer and they straight up gave me a price of $210. That's the DEALERSHIP. I figured I'd just let Terry's do it for the convenience of location, and they probably wouldn't exceed $200. Well, I pick the car up, and the bill is $300. For a serpentine belt replacement! After they told me 150-200. Well, the joke's on me I guess. So, from my experience, Terry's charges more than the dealer, which is ridiculous in my opinion. This is why most people take their cars to an independant shop-to save some money as opposed to taking to the dealership. Not the case with Terry's. If you have money to burn, go see the friendly folks at Terry's. Update. They called and said their estimating software overestimated the job and refunded me about 1/3rd of the bill. I do appreciate that.

Posting this Review from my Dad: My wife and I were travelling to Texas for a wedding, while going through Nashville, Tennessee on very congested and unfamiliar roads our van would buck and miss whenever I put on the gas. It was getting progressively worse quickly. We stopped at a service center along the main drag and were told they could not help us, they were booked for the next 5 days. I asked him if he could recommend another garage to us. I was pretty confident he would recommend a good garage since we were from out of the area and would not be repeat business & since he was a mechanic in the area and would know where there was good service. He sent us to Terry's Service Center, only 4 miles away. We were met by Cody, he was friendly, professional, and had a mature sense of urgency to help us out, even though this garage seemed to be busier than the previous onr. It did not take him long to find the problem with the van and fix it on the spot. He told us to come back if the van started acting up again. The van worked perfectly for the rest of the trip! If we lived in Nashville Terry's is the type of service center we would seek for our primary garage. We highly recommend this service center to anyone! Thank you Cody! Miracle at Terry's Service Center My experience at Terry's reminded me of a scene from the move "Miracle on 34th Street." This was my first time at Terry's, and I brought it in for basic maintenance. After about 20 minutes, the mechanic came in and said he might have an issue with a service that could possibly double the costs and might even make my car inoperable for a day. After receiving my permission to proceed, he came back and said that all went well, so there would be not additional costs. He did recommend new tires. I knew I needed tires, so this was not a surprise. However, he did recommend Costco if I had an account there, as Costco would probably be cheaper. When does one company recommend another company because they can provide the same service for a lower price? Indeed, Costco was running a special that saved me over 20%. So, I took my tire business to Costco. But I will be bringing my car back to Terry's for further work and maintenance in the future. And I will recommend Terry's to my friends. Like the "Miracle on 34th Street," this type of service nurtures trust in a company and restores one's faith in the integrity of an American business. I highly recommend Terry's Service Center.

Today, June 6, 2019 I had an appointment for a "Free Trip Inspection" A coupon I received in the mail welcoming me into the community. I'm taking a trip this month and wanted to know if my car would make it. I arrive early and was immediately seen! After the inspection I received, the following results of the inspection, I wasn't surprise by the findings that needed immediately attention to my vehicle, considering I was bless with it last year and not knowing what needed to be repair. Terry Service Center was very, very thorough doing the inspection and very detailed and direct in what needed attention First! What I also like about the inspection was the print out invoice they given me with the image and pictures of the car, detailed, explanation, and remarks explained by their Service Advisor Mr. Cody Casteel ( Excellent Customer Service). Also, a picture of the Technician Mr. Joseph Jones, (Thank You) who inspected my car. I even received a "Thank You" envelope on the dash of my car reassuring me that my car was in good hands! And was given 2 business cards, one to give to a friend or family I received in my "Thank You" envelope. So thank you Terry Service Center for. Job well done!!!!

As a young, single female, it’s difficult to find certain services where you’re taken seriously and not taken advantage OF. Car care and auto repair work seems to be one of those, and this shop took full advantage of my lack of knowledge. My 2013 Hyundai was overheating and they determined that I needed $1500 worth of work to replace the radiator, parts, fluids, labor, etc. I’m sure that really is a $1500 job, but I just had a feeling, THANKFULLY, that this wasn’t true. I paid for the diagnostic fee and then I took my car down to Ron Hall’s up the street - the literal problem was a loose wire in the harness connecting to my radiator fan, that they saw within a 10 minute inspection, they plugged it back in for me, and didn’t even charge me. When I told them that Terry’s quoted me a price over $1k to fix this exact issue, the woman behind the desk was so angry on my behalf. This happened in August of 2021. I waited years to write this review to see if my car ever overheated again, and to see if I did ultimately need the expensive repair. My car has been fine ever since, with ice cold AC since Ron’s plugged in that loose wire. Be careful out there, ladies!

Highly recommend. A+ This is exactly what I seek in a service center. Plain talk. Fair pricing. Honest time estimate. Great customer service. I found this shop because it is AAA approved & came in for an emergency - my battery died that cold morning, but the shop had never seen my truck. They went above and beyond and checked my front breaks, which were on "borrowed time" for replacement. So they worked me in & repaired them immediately. But while waiting for hours, I had the opportunity to observe the staff interactions with other customers & each other. Each encounter was honest, forthright, and as helpful as possible - even recommending another shop for a quicker repair on an non-urgent fix from a walk-in potential customer. They stay busy because they are very good at what they do. In the era of corporate-owned service centers, this local service center stands out as having that small town touch and familiarity in an every growing big city. For me the drive across town was not only worth it but will be made again. I cannot recommend them highly enough for your business.

Hi Kristen and Drake, I can't say that I have had a positive experience at your shop. I brought in my 2002 Toyota Tacoma for a heat issue that was not resolved due to an insufficient inspection of the problem, even after leaving a receipt of what has been done to the HVAC previously to eliminate guess work. I picked my truck up and checked the fluid levels before driving and the coolant reservoir was 1/4 full. (I thought it was because it was on a hill but drove less than a mile to a flat surface and it was low. (Your cameras will show me completing this task before leaving the lot.) I was told that all vehicles go through a thorough inspection before leaving the shop, by a service manager. I guess someone dropped the ball. I had to purchase antifreeze after I paid your shop to take care of it. I have attached pictures of the coolant reservoir and receipt for the additional antifreeze needed. If you can make this right, it would be much appreciated. Best, Dremund

Terry’s diagnosed my car’s late start as a starter issue and replaced the starter in the vehicle. It took the a week. I got it back and the next day it was doing the same thing. I took it back and then they told me it was a timing belt. A timing belt doesn’t cause this type of delayed start. I paid for the timing belt based on the sound they claimed the vehicle was making. Then they said the original issue was actually due to a fuel pump failure and that is what I now needed. Needless to say 3 weeks later and $3k later I had my car back. They credited me for the started but at that point confidence was lost. I’ve never seen repairs take so long and multiple misjudgments occur. Oh and did I mention they sent me an update in text to say car was ready for pick up. I took time from work to get it and when I arrived they said it was NOT done! I would NEVER recommend them. The only decent person in the place is the manager Joe. He needs to fire and rehire everyone else

I have to say that years ago I had a very bad experience with an independent mechanic. Due to the "dealerships" not having any availability I had to throw the dice and try out Terry's. I couldn't have been more pleased, and they have definitely made me a permanent customer for as long as I am in Nashville. My vehicle recently had spark plugs installed and the "dealership" had installed the wrong spark plugs. I brought the car in on Friday (They are close on the weekends) on Tuesday they had a report for the car sent to me that was clear and easy to understand, an easy price breakdown, and I spoke with Ronnie who was very polite and patient with answering any questions I had. He was fantastic. Then the next day the car was fixed and ready to go. I also must say that Brianna who runs the front is amazingly amicable and a joy to talk to. They are a busy shop for sure but it is because they do an incredible job. Definitely would recommend this place.

Scheduled front brake checkup after having new rotors and pads installed 4,000 miles ago (4 months) by James (technician). The car would pulsate at medium > high speed when applying the brakes. Dropped car off at 8AM on Thursday 11/3/2022 ; Service Advisor Briana failed to call my daughter and I the entire day to provide status of brakes. I called at 2:15PM for an update; Briana responded back telling me Joe would call me back in 15 minutes. Joe responded later with news that the rotors were warped and would be replaced under warranty. Rotors and pads were ordered but there was not enough time to get them installed that day. I would have to schedule another day to get this work done. I have lost $200 in wages and Uber/Lyft fees this day as a result of failed communications and mechanic/service adviser decision-making skills. Another day to have the car brakes replaced will now need to be scheduled. Regards, Paul S.

I was EXTREMELY displeased with my experience. I reported three problems -- a leak in the trunk that I told them I was pretty sure was coming from the tail light assembly, the seat warmers were not working, and the radio was not operating correctly. They fixed the seat heaters (which had apparently just come unplugged) and confirmed the leak was in the tail light. They said they could not find anything wrong with the radio. They quoted me a price of almost $900 to replace the tail light assembly. (The dealer quoted $500.) I declined the service and when I picked up the car, the radio was still not working. They charged me $360 for the diagnostic plus another $37 for "job supplies." In other words, over $400 to confirm what I told them and to find and plug in the seat heaters. I will not be back.

Updated review: I’ve been happy bringing my car to Terry’s for the last two years, until recently. My front brakes were approaching being ready for replacement. I brought it in for an $80 brake inspection to be told that replacing only the two front brakes and rotors was going to run me $815. For JUST the two front brakes. I called two other places nearby and was quoted $425 - $450 for the same service. For quotes like this, I won’t be returning. (Review 2020) This was my first time at Terry’s, and I will definitely be coming back (when needed). Their communication was exceptional, and they explained everything to me so I understood what was going on with my coolant leak. I had to wait a week for my appointment, but they kindly topped me off on coolant until my appointment day!

Absolutely incredible service. I brought one of my cars here to get some exhaust/key ignition work, etc. done (it and my truck are both older so they always kinda have stuff needing to be done, so having a reliable service shop is important to me) - Terry's outdid themselves. Their staff is incredibly understanding, kind and helpful and they provided me with a full detailed breakdown of all things I needed to know about my car plus pictures for reference. It seems like they work hard to build trust and I really appreciate that - My truck needed to get checked out as well soon after and they got me in quickly. -- If you are new to Nashville or just searching for a reliable and trustworthy place for your car, 100% go to Terry's. I would recommend them always

Three weeks after my car was towed to the 1st shop and someone either ordered or sent the wrong part, then said my car was repaired, it wouldn't start when i went to pick it up. Terry's was a completely different, honest, pleasant, and diagnostically correct experience. Kevin dug beneath the part the 1st shop replaced, and found the culprit, a tracker (probably installed by a dealer) that failed and shorted out my ignition switch. Cody and Ronnie have wonderful communication skills, and Cody honored the 10% discount on labor due to my AAA membership. A customer in the lobby told me that she's been using Terry's for years, and even when she purchases a new car, she takes it to Terry's for service. Highly recommended!

I have always had reliable and trustworthy service but the amount of time that it takes can be a problem for me. If you can leave your car there for days it is not an issue. I dropped my car off on a Thursday afternoon and my repairs were not finished until the end of following Wed. afternoon. This has happened before (I think in 2019). Again great service otherwise. I had Engine Timing Cover Gasket, alignment, Suspension Control Arm replacements and Shock absorber replacements as well. It took a full day longer than I was initially given before they started the repairs (and after the inspection) and that was a challenge needing to rent a car for that window of time. Again, great service and nice people otherwise.

I give terrys auto service 5 star review! They took good care of my sons 2001 toyota spyder mr2 when it wouldn't run properly. Not only did they get us an appointment within 2 days of calling but when hia car started to get worse they let us drop it off sooner so it was in a safe place. The price was fair for the work they had done, the diagnostic testing was thorough and informative, tim was great at explaining all the issues to me as well, and the actual repairs were done within a week and the car is working the way it should now. I feel good knowing my sons car is safe for him to drive to and from work now and when we have another car repair i will definitely be bringing it to Terry's!

This is my third time back to replace my brakes/rotars due to shaking. This may not be Terry’s doing and completely on the manufacturer. I went in& dropped my car off at about 8:30AM for replacement of brakes/rotars and an alignment to be done in a day unless something else arises. Them saying it will take the day. I got a call 2 hours before close to tell me they wouldn’t have time for my alignment. I have asked multiple mechanics & shops how long it takes for a full brake/rotar job and they all said 3 hours tops. I have kept trying to give the shop chances but I have come to my end with going to their shop. I don’t recommend. They don’t communicate after being asked. No accommodations.

Referred by friend, and I was not disappointed, at all! They fit me in on a tight schedule, gave me an incredibly detailed diagnostic of what was going on with my car. The technician and service advisor provided fair, thorough review of my car, offered helpful advice, and did not pressure me at all to do things that I was not sure about. And the top it all off, their online customer account that tracks your service history and other useful information is so helpful! Ultimately, I decided to do a lot of the work myself, but it was such a great experience that they will be getting all of my business in the future. Highly recommend if you appreciate professionalism and transparency.

Terry’s was recommended to me by my local Subaru dealership once my vehicle was out of warranty, and my interactions with them have been completely professional and they have cemented themselves as the only car repair shop that I will use in Nashville. Tim at Terry’s has bent over backwards to make sure I’ve been heard as a client, and has walked me through every step of the work they have done on my 2016 Subaru Outback. He even went as far as to help me set up a reasonable prevention plan to make sure I get the most out of the my vehicle. Their comprehensive care and stellar customer service has made me feel like I’ve found someone who cares about my car as much as I do!

I have been a Terry's customer for years and highly recommend them. Just took my car in (12/1/15) for a repair and as usual, the problem was corrected quickly and completely. If you want to deal with honest folks who will explain the problem in plain language and fix things right the first time at a reasonable price, the are the folks to come to. 10-14-22: Came in again because my check engine light came on. They diagnosed the problem and offered alternatives. I also asked for other (routine maintenance) to be done. Everything was completed properly and expeditiously. I have come here for years and trust these folks. I have recommended them before and will do so again.

My truck was having engine issues and I brought it into Terrys. I was new to the area and had never been there before. Cody was extremely professional and informative, and he was transparent on what he was going to look at and told me a timeline when I could expect to hear back. Their online portal with updates was super helpful, and Cody called me back right on his timeline and gave me an accurate and clear update and all the information I needed to make the necessary decisions. He gave me advice and was extremely helpful, and I had my truck back within a few days. Terrys has gained a customer for life due to their responsiveness, transparency, and fair prices.

The guy in the shop was super nice and they were able to inspect my car quickly within a few hours, but the prices they quoted me for a simple brake pad/rotors replacement was OUTRAGOUSLY high. I was actually pretty shocked. I took my car to an extremely trusted and well rated place down the street and ended up paying less than half the amount Terry’s quoted me. The full car inspection they offer is top notch and gives you a great picture of your car’s total condition, but I would never have any work down there for those prices. They also seem to be slightly guilty of exaggerating problems with your car which is dishonest.

Consumate professionals. They are incredibly thorough and fairly priced. At the front desk, Cody always takes the time to answer my questions honestly and I've never walked out of there thinking I was getting the run-around. When my driver's-side door on my Jetta would not latch properly, I went to Terry's to book a service appointment. Not only did Cody remember me from my previous visit early last month, he came out to the parking lot to examine my car personally. Five minutes and a socket-wrench later, Cody had it fixed and I was on my way. As long as I live in Nashville, this is the only place I will bring my vehicle.

I called to make an appointment and was able to get in the next two weeks. They fixed my brakes the same day, and I like how they use NAPA products. Was called and told what needed done after they inspected my car and if I was okay with the price. When I got my car back, my AC started being noisy. I’m not sure if they had put in my cabin filter wrong when inspecting, but I took it out myself and it looks like they squashed it back in. Not very happy about that but I’m sure if I buy a new cabin filter the noise will stop. ^^^ I just wanted to update and say the noise stopped and it just ended up fixing itself.

Well, I brought my truck in to Terry‘s.Discount tire had one of my studs strip out so they sent me to Terry’s ‘s to get it replaced so when they went to replace my stud and my lug nut, they found out that my brakes and rotors were bad they even sent me pictures and a video where I could see everything they were saying. So it was kind of unexpected and they were nice enough to give me a discount on my brake and rotor repair done everything in a timely manner actually two days and I am very satisfied with their work. I will be returning and I will be referring friends and family to Terry’s service center.

I will admit the first impression from Terry’s Service Center was perfect. From the friendly voices on the phone to the website to the text message updates, But unfortunately, being scammed by hidden fees and lack of transparency on what was being done to my vehicle is what I will remember the most from this experience. *Same Day Update I originally gave a 1 star review but my stance has changed as Management contacted me and apologized for the lack of communication. They made everything right on their end. Very impressed with the efforts and timely-ness to take care of the issue.

The staff at Terry's went above and beyond helping me fix my major transmission problem. Mike coached me on how to speak to the manufacturer to get them to cover the replacement under factory warranty. It was my first time dealing with a transmission issue, and Mike answered every question I had, even what to look for as I compare pricing with other shops. As a single gal living 700 miles from my dad who helps with my car I can't recommend this place enough. They were kind to work me in when I had a check engine light come on and the detailed inspection report came right to my email and text so I could review it before they called. I never felt pressured to do all the little things that probably could be done at a later date but also they were honest in letting me know what needed to be done now. They were so professional and helpful when I called and took the time to help me understand. I will certainly be back!

There are few things worse than being out of town and needing potentially major car repairs. I was driving in 95-degree heat for 8 hours with no air conditioning. I contacted Terry's when I got to Nashville and they got me in right away. They could have told me my air compressor was shot and charged me $1,000 but instead they were incredibly honest told me it was just a bad sensor and repaced it for about a hundred bucks. Super friendly and efficient staff. I would highly recommend Terry's Service Center! And you gotta admit their website photo is awesome!

Integrity is vital for auto-repair businesses and Terry's has demonstrated that to me. After Tim and Cody quoted me one-price before starting, Tim called back after the work was done and said the price would be half of the original quote. Once they worked on my car, they realized that a part wasn't damaged after all and rather than take advantage of me and my willingness to pay the original amount, they honestly fixed only what needed to be and saved me a lot of money. Terry's has now made two major repairs to my car and I will take it back for the third.

The people here are absolutely wonderful. I dealt with Cody mainly but Dustin helped too. And let me tell you, these guys are of the utmost quality. And I’m not just blowing smoke. No dings, oil smudges, and bar none, the best service center experience I've ever had. This place is awesome. I had an EVAP code on my Lexus, and instead of immediately charging me for a diagnostic and taking my money, Tim recommended I go buy a new gas cap and see if that fixes the problem. He was willing to lose out on my money just to help me out and save me some money, which was really nice and honest of him. When the new gas cap didn't fix the problem, I took the car back in, paid the diagnostic fee, and they found a disconnected hose within 3 hours! Awesome people, awesome service. highly recommend

I had a very pricey repair needed for my car. But I had to get it done. Terry's was about the same as another shop down the road. The service manager who I spoke with on the phone was very polite and informative. Overall, they seem like a trustworthy shop who does good work. For this, I plan to go back in a few weeks to get another issue resolved. Added bonus: Shop is across from Nashville West shopping center. So if you have some time to kill while you wait, there are restaurants and shopping right there.

Brought daughter’s car in after a blowout of a new tire. Had car for three weeks, mentioned there was a senser I needed to get from Audi. Bottom line, all warning lights are on, turning right considerable drag after $3K bill. I know you are not going to get it right all the time, but give it a good look as I am sure you could have resolved this. I will now need to take it to Audi to solve the problem. Terry’s Service came to our rescue after Tom’s Wrecker destroyed our entire hub assembly. We live in our RV van and couldn’t wait two weeks to fix the damage. Terry’s graciously fit us into their packed schedule and had us back on the road by 5:00 PM. We are eternally grateful that they did this for us. I set an appointment 3 weeks in advance to get an alignment and brakes/pads looked at. Dropped car off at 8:30 am & called twice to get a status and was told they had to get to a corvette and for me to come next day at 9 am. Guess corvette has more clout than me. Went next morning @. 8 am and NOTHING had been done to my car other than checking rotors/pads. So, I took a full day off of work for nothing, didn’t even do the alignment. Will not go back .

Friendly, thorough, but excessive and overpriced. They do a good job communicating their findings and recommendations. However, every visible drop of oil does not mean a seal or gasket is in need of replacement. Running a diagnostic test on a check engine light costs $200. Battery replacement almost $300. Expensive option to maintain an older vehicle.

My Mazda CX-5 undercarriage got damaged on the Interstate. I had moved to Nashville only 2 weeks back. I googled and found Terry's Service Center well reviewed. They were able to get me in quickly and fix my car in less than the initial estimate. I respect that a lot. Why not 5 stars? It took a few extra days. But all in all very satisfied.

I’d give them 6 stars if possible! I brought my car in a day later than my appointment and they were still able to make it work. They fixed the HVAC/heat in my vehicle and provided insight and honest pricing up front. Although it was a bit pricey, the service was superb. The feedback they give you after doing an inspection on your car prior to beginning repairs was fantastic. I ended up getting a list of things to consider working down the road with photo or video proof to back it up. Most shops just make you take the shop's word for it.the staff were very nice too.

We had to have our 2013 Jeep Wrangler towed to Terrys when another shop was unable to figure out what was wrong. My service advisor was Ron . He kept up to date on the repairs and let us know when the repairs were completed. It was expensive but it’s fixed. We are grateful they were able to fix it.
