Jonah W. was very professional and straightforward. I appreciated how thorough he was going over the details of the job and the quote. I shopped 3 roofers before committing and not only were they the cheapest of the 3, they actually did a few extra things for me that the other two roofers weren't going to do. Jonah also came back to the job site multiple times to make sure things were going smoothly during the whole installation. Jose S. was the foreman on the job and he was very personable and didn't mind taking the time to explain how things were being done and even gave me tips on how to prolong the life of the roof going forward. During the installation of the new roof on the back half of my house, he found that my previous contractor had used an incorrect shroud around my pipe jack leaving a huge open space for the elements to get in and would have definitely caused me problems in the future. He told me to go grab him a $5 part from Home Depot and they installed it for me so that I wouldn't have any future issues. These guys are rockstars and have integrity. I have already referred them to 2 other people I know and will be my first recommendation for anyone I hear that needs a roofer going forward. These guys will have my continued business going forward for sure. It's hard to find honest and hardworking contractors these days but these guys are the needle in a haystack. TFR provided great service when they came out and gave an assessment but that is where the quality ended. First of all, we requested a quote to get a specific portion of the roof replaced. For some reason they spent more time focusing on a total roof replacement even after they said we have at least 5 years left on our roof. When asked for a quote on the specific area (what we asked a quote for), it was clearly not as thorough and the quote of the work was very unclear. They way the repair was seemingly explained to us, we were getting that entire portion part of the roof replaced which made sense because it was about 1/5th of the total roof replacement. What we got was a random guy majorly late that could not produce the work order with a couple of sheets of plywood. We had a heck of a time getting a hold of the production manager and when we did, he got confrontational with my wife and was totally unprofessional. We cut our losses and were like fine we won't ever deal with them again. That was until the work settled and we had exposed wood from the area that they had just repaired. After a couple of weeks trying to get ahold of them again, we finally had someone supposedly coming out. We were originally quoted at them arriving at noon, then 2pm, but right now it's past 5pm and they haven't shown up. Completely unprofessional group. Don’t fall for all the Family in the name, you will get treated like a step child with this group.

Texas Family Roofing made installing a new roof so much easier than I expected. Nick came out and did a thorough inspection both on the roof and in our attic to ensure he could give us the most accurate estimate possible. He took the time to go through all the photos with me and went through all the options. He gave me three different options on the types of roofs and warranties they offer and didn't try to hard sell me on the most expensive options. He also shared all the photos and drone shots he took. Once we placed our order, Paul Perez, their project manager, made it a point to keep in regular contact with me to let me know what was happening at every stage, from the delivery of the tiles to the installation date. The installation team did incredible work in ridiculously hot weather. Their clean-up after the project was complete was out of this world. There were no stray nails or junk left in our yard. After construction was complete, Paul came out to inspect the roof to make sure everything was completed and supplied me with all the photos that were taken before and after. I really love the new tiles!!! They look fabulous on the house.

Texas Family Roofing did a great job for us! We are so glad that we went with them instead of the other companies who have been soliciting in our neighborhood. Jacob, our sales rep was always punctual, professional and he explained the whole process to us very clearly. He was aleays available to answer our questions. This is our first time replacing our roof so we had no idea the steps. The day of the installation, the crew was very punctual, had uniforms on and worked efficiently. They put up protective netting around the house to protect our plants and home from falling debris. They also went through our driveway and surrounding areas with a magnet roller to pick up any stray and fallen nails duringand after they were done. This was huge for us as we have 4 vehicles and didn't want to have to deal with flat tires. The whole project was completed in 1 day! We are very impressed with the company, the staff, and the crew that came out. The most important part is- we love our new roof!

So, I got another quote for my roof from a company that spent maybe 30 minutes at my property, did not get on the roof to look at my roof, and made a recommendation for repair. Erik spent maybe an hour here with a cool little droid n then actually getting on the roof to send me an explanatory video. The professionalism, time Erik took to assess my roof, n the way in which the estimate was set up and sent with pictures and videos, made me feel like I HAD to choose Texas Family Roofing. After I paid the deposit, I had no idea how long it would take them to come and fix the roof. Let me tell you, the request for inspection, the inspection, and work completion only took ten days. I'm still super impressed writing this review :) I had two request. That they not destroy my plants and that they take everything with them so my puppy will not find and chew on anything. Erick said those requests were easy and he proved it! THANX, ERIK!!!!! I kinda wish I had another roof yall could fix.

I went with this company because of the good reviews but oh my goodness stay AWAY from this company. Every part of this process has been such a headache. Hired in June for a quoted “one day” job. Did not take one day which was one of several lies. It would take me a lot of typing to layout all of the lies, performance and poor customer service. I did the work of getting approval from my insurance company so I’m not sure why every other aspect was so poorly handled. Not just one or two mistakes, every step was mishandled. No communication unless I reach out. It’s now September 5, got the “final inspection” done a week and half ago which was basically looking for any trash they might have left. Still waiting on warranty certificate and drone photos. Never got one drone photo, not that I care about drone photos but everything they said they would provide, they did not. After all of this, I cannot be confident in the quality of the work either. GO WITH A DIFFERENT COMPANY

We contacted Texas Family Roofing after hearing about their excellent service on other houses in our neighborhood. Our gutters were 17 years old and leaking in several locations. Nick from Texas Family Roofing performed an assessment on our current gutter system and recommended the new seamless gutter technology. Before going forward with the job I did some research on the pricing and found the cost reasonable and lower than other companies cost. Nick and his Gorilla gutter team came to the house about 9am and completed the work about 4pm the same day. After the job was completed they walked me around the home to explain how the gutter system worked and ensured everything was to my satisfaction. I can see the improved appearance to my home and see the system will support an improved water flow over the previous design. Thank you Nick from Texas Family Roofing for another excellent job in our neighbor. Oh by the way, my wife likes it too....thank you!

Very quick, professional service. Jake was very hands-on with communicating with us & his crew were professional. They came out quickly, explained the problem (took lots of pictures to confirm) and were very professional. We even asked them whether we should just have the roof replaced, and he told us we probably have another 15 years out of it, so he (ethically) passed up a chance to "up-sell" us. You'd better believe we will be contacting them in 15 years or so when we _do_ need a new one... Edited to add: A year later we are selling the house (sadly leaving San Antonio) and the new buyers wanted documentation of the repair work - which of course I couldn't find. A quick call & email to these guys and they sent me all the photos they took last year as well as the repair write-up - my realtor was impressed with their documentation. I hope I can find this level of decent service in my new place!

I contacted Texas Family Roofing to have my roofed checked for a leak that is needing to be fixed on a Tuesday. I spoke to David and scheduled an appointment for Thursday at 1pm. David calls me Wednesday to say his tech is out sick and wants to reschedule for Saturday. I'm currently at work and missed his call. Then out of the blue David sends me a text saying he does not service our area. When I contacted your company in the first place and placed on a 3 minute hold. Why was I not informed you didn't service our area in the first place. Second I took time off of my busy schedule for a day you scheduled to service. Now I get it things happen right. Why would you name your company Texas Family Roofing if you can't even service the surrounding areas. Super Unprofessional of your company and I would never refer any of my clients to your company.

Juan Bustos was a great help in the whole process of assisting me with my roof replacement. I really enjoyed the videos they provide to help better understand everything that goes along with installing a new roof. Juan was able to provide me with pictures of the damages on roof. Then after Paul reached out to me with the payment process, the delivery of materials, setting up date and times. Making sure everything was being done correctly and in a timely manner. He made sure to call me the day he inspected the work and our property was in good shape along with cleanup and photos. I was very impressed by everyone’s help and professionalism. I would recommend this company to others. Especially as I was not there in person to oversee process was a huge relief in trusting them with the work and other home. I have had the pleasure of hiring Texas Family Roofing to replace our hail damaged roof over 6 years ago. We were very happy with our new roof and the quality of work that we hired them a couple years later to install a new siding on our home. I reached out TFR most recently to inspect a roof leak after heavy rain storms, and had the pleasure of meeting Nick to inspect our roof. Texas Family Roofing was the choice of 4 other companies I looked into replacing my roof. Jack Aragon did a great job with the roof presentation and explaining the different packages they offered. The job and roof itself was great. I made 3 payments for the work. The issue I had was the payments were solely FOCUSED on paying online which charges a debit/ credit card convenience fee of 3.2%+.29¢ per transaction. Each 3 payment fee was an average of $130.00. That could have been a $400.00 fee! All payments were done over the phone to avoid this fee, however, on the last payment I called the company twice with no answer until I had to call Jack again. I was also told the work would take about 2-3 days but instead it took 5 days. Overall, being patient with the process from start to finish was worth it. The roof turned out great!!

Texas Family replaced our roof last month. Paul (the owner) and Erik came to our home to give us a bid. They explained the products they use and the differences in quality. They use only the best materials and it shows. Erik was always available to answer our questions or assist when we had additional requests. We love the color of our shingles and have gotten many compliments from our neighbors. We appreciated that both Erik and Paul were on site several times while the work was being done and they followed up when the work was completed. They worked very hard to protect our property and pool from debris and cleaned up at the end of every day. If you need a roof, give them a call. They will work with you and your insurance company. They truly are a professional organization and they treated us like family.

We were concerned about wind and hail damage from recent storms. Our Neighbor was using Texas Family roofing so we decided to have them inspect our roof. They responded to us quickly and came out within a week to inspect our roof. After the inspection they showed us pictures of our damaged areas and informed us we did not need replacement just repair. He stated they were available the following week on Friday but called and said a time on Thursday was available if we were. They came 30 minutes early and got straight to work. Halfway through we was showed the progress and explained what was being done. Texas Family Roofing was professional, prompt and affordable. They did quality work and the pictures of our roof repair gave me peace of mind. I highly recommend this company.

Contacted Paul and American Family Roofing when some leaks appeared to be starting on our metal roof. They responded quickly and promptly, Paul and Eric absolutely rocked the customer courtesy and professionalism. After inspecting, there was some testing to pinpoint the leaks - which was done so quick, we almost forgot it! Two small areas were identified, and instead of having to do a full roof coating or seal, two American Family Roofing technicians showed up, and got right after it!! Patching was done in a single day…actually, like half a day. No mess, no fuss…the last roof crew we had, I was picking nails and screws and scraps for months - American Family Roofers clean up after themselves!!! Love it! Got them in our book now, and referring them to family and friends!!

Nick has helped us out with our turbine vent in the past & our roof inspection, & has always been a pleasure to work with, so I called for roof maintenance & trim repair for which he put together a great plan & explained what they would be doing during work. Matthew & his crew came to perform the work & did an excellent job. He showed pictures of all the work done, and all the parts they worked on look brand new. We are so happy with their work. David and Matthew were awesome. Every time I called in David helped me get the right people and he provided great customer service. I had a tough repair that required reworking the problem in a dead valley three times on three separate visits but Matthew kept coming out with the crew over and over until the problem was fixed. I just got down from the attic after a heavy rain and no leak. Texas family backs their service and will do the right thing for its customers which is the most important quality a company can have. I’d also mention that some companies don’t care about repairs and only want to install new roofs but Texas family took the job and earned a repeat customer. They will have my business when it comes time for a new roof.

At Texas Family Roofing, David, Erik and Paul, provided us with an amazing, professional, and seamless experience when it came to replacing our roof. I was genuinely surprised at how fast the company received the supplies, fixed the roof, and cleaned everything up. I am most happy about the fact that there was basically ZERO trash and debris left behind, as previous companies have left their tools, debris, and trash EVERYWHERE, even after the project has been completed. I am extremely happy that TFR repaired any damages or holes we had in the roof due to small rodents, like squirrels. We have a new roof, but if I could go back and do it with a different company I would. Communication was extremely poor. From being told the wrong thing by Nick and dismissing my concerns completely, to then never hearing from Jacob, the person who promised to handle our account moving forward and ignored all my communication about our bill being incorrect and tire tracks left in the driveway , and then never hearing from the “boss” who also only wanted to communicate with my husband. I was never given the courtesy or respect in communication despite being the actual homeowner. We have a new roof, and they cleaned up the messes left behind, but I wish I had gone with someone else.

This was a great company to work with. Yosef took care of gathering all my insurance information without me having to do much. Hector called me to set everything up and his crew did a fantastic job. I have 2 very large dogs and they were able to complete the job on time as to not displace them for very long. My neighbors were even impressed that they started early and worked until almost dark without lolly gagging and taking a ton of breaks. Hector and Yosef even met me before I left for work on the 1st day. I can't thank you enough for getting the job done before the winter and the rains begin to get bad. I am extremely pleased!

I just (Feb 2022) used Texas Family Roofing to fix my roof. I called and they were responsive and able to come out at a convenient time. The inspection/sales person was professional and gave me detailed explanations of what needed to be done. I was ready to replace my entire roof, but he explained that only certain parts needed to be fixed. They completed the repair quickly and cleanly. I was hesitant about doing this on my own since I am a military widow and often people try to take advantage. But I did not have any worries with this company. I believe that I got a great deal and two of my neighbors plan to use them as well.

I had a great experience with Texas Family Roofing. I spoke mostly with Nick who was very professional and helpful. I'd never replaced a roof before so he walked me through all the steps of making the claim with my insurance company. He told me what to expect at every step of the install, they were able to come during the day when I was at work, and they finished in one day. They fixed three rotted spots on my roof and replaced all the shingles. They were in constant contact and easy to reach the entire time. Hector Mendoza conducted a detail roof inspection report for my home that I was selling and also inspected my new home roof. He showed great ethics when the a home buyer contacted him to conduct a roof inspection on the home I was selling. As it was a conflict of interest to represent both parties; he only represented me as I was the first to reach out.Hector also showed great knowledge of existing roofing issues and was able to explain in detail how it should be fixed and a quote in a quick turnaround. I will definitely use Hector and Texas family roofing again for future roof repairs or inspections.

My experience with Texas Family Roofing couldn’t have been better. My wife and I have been very concerned about the quality of construction of our roof since the day we purchased it. Erik (Inspector and Manager) came out at the appointed time and did an excellent job assessing the current condition of our roof. He was knowledgeable, professional and personable. Texas Family Roofing did an amazing job on a problem roof we have at one of our properties. I probably called 20+ roofers looking for someone to take car of this for me at a reasonable price. Texas Family Roofing allowed me to manage the whole thing remotely, showed up on time, did exactly what they said they would, sent me a detailed report with before and after photos and cost me less than half of what most of the other bids were. Great work at a fair price. Our roof was damaged in several spots after a recent storm. We received several estimates, but felt most comfortable with Robert from Texas Family Roofing. He described the repairs in a simple to understand way and the price was competitive. The repair went exactly as Robert described and he kept us informed throughout the process.
