Visited Thai on Rode recently. When we got there, we found they usually only do takeaways, but we wanted to dine in... so they made it happen! Set up a table just for us. So, they already scored good points for service. And, the food is fantastic! Why hadn't I known about them before?!? Tried the usual Thai standards... curry puffs, satays, pad thai... all excellent... and a super tasty Spicy Crispy Pork dish that was our favourite for the evening. Highly recommend supporting this excellent local restaurant!

Awesome website. Ordered on 5th July and it was solid Thai food! We had just moved into the area recently and it looks like we have found our Thai restaurant. Ordered the Panang & Massaman curries, Chicken Satay, Curry Puffs & Coconut Rice. All was very well cooked with the Massaman Curry advertised as their most popular dish and we can see why cause it was so good! Peanut Satay was also awesome and the Coconut Rice very well done as well. Can't wait to order again.

Not great. Crispy pork and vege was like a soup, unfortunately they used vege that contain a lot a water like wombok. No crispy anything. Not the usual green leaf vege that is used in the dish at other restaurants. Likely due to the cost of proper vege like kailan. The chicken ordered came out as tofu in the pad see ew which was so drenched in soy.... The massaman - all potato no beef - no further explanation required. Thank goodness I steamed my own rice!

Ordered a special fried rice. It had no flavour & very less ingredients. Definitely not worth the price & they add surcharge on top of their final price as well. Wouldn’t recommend this place at all. There are way better Asian restaurants nearby. You’ll regret going to this place

On the way home from networking I called to place an order for cashew chicken and special fried rice. The lady over the phone was friendly and took my order. The order took only 15 mins to prepare and be ready to pick up. I parked in the small car park around the back and walked in to collect my meal. The food was very tasty!!

Nice flavours, tender meat and crisp veges. Unfortunately they didn’t send the 1x free rice offered for orders over $60.

Without any doubt, this is the best Thai food in Brisbane. The order was on time and the containers were fully packed with quality food. A word of warning - when they say that a dish is spicy, they mean just that. It is VERY HOT. Thank you for a delicious meal. I will be back.

Not sure if it was because we'd driven to the coast and back twice however - do yourself a favour and get dinner! Full of flavour and just a great meal. And if you pay cash, the prawn crackers are free! #Winning

Wow! So glad we tried this place! The food arrived within 20 minutes of ordering, the food was piping hot and DELICIOUS! And on top of that, the delivery guy was lovely. Thanks guys- I’ll be back for the Tom Kha a hundred times over!!

Very enjoyable take away dinner thank you ! Delicious Massaman Beef & Thai Fried Rice . Also enjoyed Curry Puffs and Spring Rolls which werent too greasy. The usual favorites -Reasonably priced. Very clean shop . Will be back .

Thai on Rode has the best Thai food we have had in Brisbane The curries are outstanding and the Money Bags are our absolute favourite. We used to live in the suburb but it is worth the drive from our new home. A must to try

The food tasted great. I should have probably checked to see if fish sauce was used in the curries as it usually is even if the dishes are vege and tofu as I don't normally eat much meat. I will definitely go there again.

I don’t bother trying any of the bigger Thai restaurants any more, none compare with Thai on Rode. Simply the best local Thai food I can find, reasonably priced and always interesting. Never dissatisfied. Thanks guys.

The best Thai in the Wavell/Kedron area. Always fresh, colourful and tasty. Flavours are perfectly balanced. Can't go past the cashew chicken. Still our go to even though we have moved a little further away.

The food is consistently great quality and delicious, and the delivery timely and friendly. We don’t get Thai food from anywhere else now that we’ve found Thai on Rode, nothing would measure up!

Every meal I've ordered has always been delicious. I favour the coconut prawns and have loved every curry too. You will not be disappointed if you order from this family owned and run business

Yummy authentic Thai food! Staff is very friendly too. I love how they have different promotions every week and the free spring rolls for orders over $40 for takeaway or delivery.

Only been once but loved it. Fresh, tender and very tasty. My only gripe is I didn’t get the 10% discount for first timers. I did mention it was my first time. Oh well.

The best “Money bags” in Brisbane. I have tried many Thai take away and Thai on Rode IS the best.

Everything was tasty and the vegetables seemed very fresh. It did not feel like "fast food".
