This has to be the worst customer service ever received. We ordered a two seater lounge, recliner and a lift chair in June 2020. Order was die to be delivered in October. Knew it was COVID but they were the terms they set. October came and went. We co tacted the Gawler store to be told that delivery would now be mid November. Asked to be kept informed and promised they would ring and let us know. No follow up call. Staff member blamed other staff member and called him useless and said he never called anyone back and promised to all us next day after ringing to check on progress of our order. Phone call never came. Went back in again after another two weeks. Blamed everything they could think of and again added another month for delivery. Then discovered that the lift chair was not even from the same company and in fact was in the Marion store. Wanted to pay the difference of the deposit and cost of this chair and take it but was told that I would also then have to pay another full deposit for the two seater and chair that was already ordered. I refused as I didn't think that their incompetence meant that I needed to find another $800 odd dollars to wait for furniture that was boat arriving. Tomd that furniture was due in January. then February. It is now March and have heard nothing. Rang today to the Marion store as the Gawler store is closed. Told to ring the mobile number of the Gawler store as Marion store does not have computer records. Told to leave a message and they WOULD get back to me. Knew they wouldn't, they haven't! The staff at the Gawler store have no customer service, no ethics, Wayne is just plain rude and never follows through on anything. I will be requesting my deposit back and cancelling the whole order. My paperwork says 12-16 weeks delivery. I ordered when COVID was well and truly happening and yet this was what is written in the paperwork they produced and I signed. I didn't set the delivery date they did! They have blamed the company in Victoria plenty of time also. Never their fault, always everyone else's. Even stated how they hated using that company because this always happens!!!! So now it is 8 months since I ordered the furniture. No calls, no updates, happy to take my money, happy to blame COVID for everything, happy to be rude and condescending but do not deliver. Disgraceful service and my patience has worn out. I will be asking for a refund and I will go to Current Affair if they do not give my money back. Shame That's furniture! Word of mouth is the best and worst kind of publicity. Your company ethics are shameful and I have and will continue to let everyone know to steer clear. At a time when businesses, who care about their customers, are struggling to stay afloat you should be bending over backwards to make sure your customers are happy. You have made our situation unbearable and enough is enough! Worst experience ever!!! Stay away people. They could not care less about anything but taking your money!!

Went there today after reading about the "up to 70%" off rhetoric, only to be amazed by the customer service we received. We had a great salesman, Wayne, helping us with a package for our newly built home including the family area, couches, dining suite, Entertainment unit, Buffet, hall stand, bar stools and coffee tables. BUT, this old grey haired numnut, whoever he is, decided that he would rudely interrupt us and without even acknowledging our presence or looking at us and without an apology or an "excuse me", told Wayne he was needed in another part of the store, yes Wayne had to leave us for another customer, no apology or offer of help. So, we looked at more things in the store and Wayne returned 20 mins later and we started to put together a package of furniture which would have amounted to over $6k plus when th@t old grey haired tw@t returned and did the exact same thing again without even blinking and left us standing there without so much as a courteous glace or apology. We were amazed at the old f@rts attitude and rudeness. What a W@nker, you didn't even offer to help us. So guess what you stupid old fool, you have lost our business for good, you don't deserve it, you obviously don't want it and people like you are the reasons businesses don't stay in business. It will catch up with you sometime. Good luck working there Wayne, the old m@n lost you a few grands worth of commission. I presume he was just an old cr@nky boss who needs to retire and let someone who wants to be there run the show. Stay away folks cos there ain't no service at this place. Its a no from him and its a no from me. W@nker.... They don't deserve a star but they make you click one to post your message. Purchased an entertainment unit back in July and were told 2-3 weeks for delivery. Called after waiting 4 weeks to be told it would be a couple more weeks, called again a fortnight later to be told its now a September delivery. Also awaiting delivery of some furniture for my sons bedroom we pu4chased about 3 weeks after the entertainmentunit. Told 3-4 weeks, called after 4 weeks and told it MAY be in their next delivery. The matress we ordered is made in S.A. How are we still waiting for stock on something made in this state after a month? Staff are friendly enough when in store but the lack of communication after sale about delays and lack of knowledge to the whereabouts of our items is frustrating to say the least. I feel like a teacher chasing his students for late assignments. A simple call to let us know about delays would be nice. Had I know it would be this long a wait I would have gone elsewhere. If you go in store check they actually have the stock before buying. Even during covid these wait times are crazy. Ive ordered and received items from the USA during this pandemic that arrived faster. Edit 16/12 - finally had our ent. unit delivered today (5 month wait in total) after the wrong one was recieved in store. Told it was my fault for showing the wrong pic initially (I didnt) Why would I show a pic of a 1600mm wide one when the TV its for is 1660mm wide. Needed to be 1800mm minimum which I said on day of purchase. Wont ever go back to this place. Worst service ever. Avoid like Covid. 1 star purely for furniture quality

My partner and I recently purchased all our furniture for our first home together from this business. This was as it was very close to home and we wanted to keep supporting our local community. However this has been the worst retail experience to date. Furniture that we were promised months ago took 5 months to be delivered after being told it would take 4 weeks. In light of this it was not the period of time it took to come, it was the no contact to us in regards to the whereabouts of our furniture that we have paid in full for; the avoidance of our calls and the rudeness that we were confronted with. To their benefit they did give us store credit to compensate the terrible service that the manager acknowledged we had received. In which we gave them a second chance with us purchasing another large item, hence forth spending more money in their store ; too only receive even worse service! This has completely deterred me from ever purchasing or recommending them, other than to the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission. Furthermore seeing this business reply to other reviews/complaints with ‘spam’ directly correlates with the store poor integrity and non existent customer relations!! I hope they take this as constructive criticism especially as I am still waiting for the last piece of furniture to arrive.

Thankfully my refund was processed without hassle after a few follow-up emails but why my order was not processed when I paid for it puzzled me. Days later I got a call asking me to come in and pick a different bed because (since my payment) the stock they had secured had been sold. I should have walked out of the store the day I walked in - the sales person spoke rudely about customers who waste his time and admitted in front of me that he used to work in a different sales job where he had no understanding of the product he was selling but that this didn’t matter because ‘as long as you know the specs you can sell anything.’ That was the first red flag. Then he told me a story about how he once sold a computer to a customer, then told them they needed to drive to a different store as his store was out of stock and then he called the store and purchased their last remaining stock from underneath his customer!! I wish I’d just left at that stage. Don’t make the same mistake I did. I’m sorry to the owners of this company that the people on the front end representing them are doing such a poor job of it.

Their customer service was great instore and speedy delivery (within a week). However, we had looked around at mattresses for a week and accidentally stumbled upon their store and even though we had decided what we would buy we went for a look. We laid on a mattress that similarly compared and when told it was made here in SA decided we would shop local. But, when it arrived it had a Made in China tag. When I rang to complain I was told that would not have been said and maybe I was thinking of another mattress (we only laid on one and my mum was with me too and heard the same comment as the mattress is for the spare room which she predominantly uses). They then told me if they have too many orders they get some made in China and that's what I got. Hard to believe when it only took a week to come. They reassured me of quality and comfort, which I wasn't doubting as it is a lovely mattress. It's just when the final decision was made on supporting our state and it turns out that isn't actually the case it's disappointing! I was offered to swap it for another mattress that they could guarantee was SA made, but that would be more expensive. Not overly happy being decieved.

Fantastic customer service! We went to That's Furniture (Gawler) to look for some furniture for our new place. All staff were approachable and friendly upon entering the store. They made themselves available but also gave us space to browse ourselves. We came across a dining set that we really liked, and a staff member talked us through the variations and prices, even giving us a bit more discount on an already discounted product. We bought the table and chairs and the gentleman that helped us offered to get the chairs assembled for us, even though the dining set was actually cheaper than other options because chairs technically came unassembled. We arranged delivery on the following Wednesday. On that day, I received a lovely message in the morning (smiley face included), to say the delivery was on the way. Dining set was delivered and chairs were assembled at our house at no extra cost. Everything about this experience was brilliant and stress-free. Would highly recommend this store to anyone looking for good quality, affordable South Australian furniture with excellent customer service from store to delivery.

We were looking for a bed for our toddler and went to Marion. We had intended on checking out the specials at Snooze, then head to Domayne and then Fantastic Furniture after. We couldn't find anything at Snooze and saw That's Furniture and wondered what it was so went and had a look. Jim greeted us and recommended us to a bed that suited our needs. Delivery was free as well which I was very surprised with. It was scheduled for Thursday but a change in circumstances had me calling Jim to reschedule and it was easily changed to the Wednesday. Wednesday morning came and I had a message from Jared who advised me on the timing of delivery. I called him to let him know it could be left at the front door if we weren't home. He was very polite and accommodating. What surprised me the most was that he send me a photo of the boxes left at the front door with a message saying it's been dropped off. I really appreciated it and felt that he went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you for the great service and experience. We will definitely recommend you guys.

Bought a lounge from here last year took 6 months to come and they sold the next stock they had on us.Now waiting on furniture for the rest of the house they told us everything was in stock at the start of November we also paid in full over 3 grand a few months back.the day before delivery they told us that they didnt have the dining table in stock. So that weekend they delivered everything except the dining table. That was the first weekend in November.then they told us the table would be in the following week. They didnt call to let us know so we called at the end of the week before the weekend still not in. I've been calling every week since and it's still not in yet. Havent called this week yet but waiting to see if they call to give me an update. Will not be buying any furniture from them in the future.They just keep making excuses. Do not reccomend buying from them. That furniture warehouse stocks the same furniture range.

UPDATE 2:We were not sent what we purchased. The chaise is the wrong direction. It seems nobody noticed in the store, nor while loading it onto the truck. It is effectively unusable. UPDATE: we managed to get the delivery scheduled for 8-10pm tonight. --- We ordered a couch at the new Marion location, originally to be delivered on Jan 20th. This was rescheduled shortly after to Friday, Jan 26th due to flooring work being done. After the floor work was completed, we rescheduled the delivery to one day earlier on Thursday the 25th. We called twice to confirm this change. Today, i called again a third time after not receiving a delivery notification, and was told that this change was never actually made, and that there is nothing they can do about it. Taking a day off work to be told that I will have to now also spend Australia day waiting at home for the delivery is not what I had in mind.

Bought a recliner which was on special for $400 supposedly from $700 with the sales pitch about the "amazing fabric"it was made of. When it was still under warranty I put in a complaint about the coating wearing off and supplied photos for them as requested to send to the manufacturer. I rang the store several times but they said the hadn't heard back from them yet. The chair is now 18 months old and in such bad condition it is fit for the dump! I contactedthe store again but they have denied that I put in a complaint before the warranty period expired. This is simply not true, I have got the dated photos that they requested still on my phone. Regardless, I don't think it is acceptable that a $700 "original price" chair should look like this after 18 months. I will never buy from this store again, their after sales service is non-existent. .

What a dodgy and poor customer service. We purchased a bed and 2 bed sides and a mattress and fully paid at the time of purchase from Marion store. The man who was servicing us just mentioned 2 items in our invoice, a bed and a mattress with total value. As I trusted him and thought "a bed " includes 2 bedsides and becouse atleast 2 times I asked about my package and that guy told me don't worry your invoice includes 2 bedsides as well so I accepted that invoice. Setting a delivery date is an another poor service which was a real headache and I don't want to tell about that. At the day of delivery we realized that they haven't sent our bedsides because they were not in my tax invoice. No one has idea how do I feel about this dodgy business. I didn't received something that I have already paid. They are not trustworthy AT ALL.

Walked into the Gawler store back in October 2018 and spent over $10,000 worth of furniture, was told it would all arrive within 2-4 weeks...didn’t receive any of my furniture until 2 months had passed and 4 months later I’m still waiting on the arrival of two pieces. Not once was I contacted in regards too the whereabouts/reasons why I had not received my furniture and with every phone I made I was always met with the same response from Jenny “I’ll write a message for Tony” which I never received any returning phone calls back. Costumer service is non existent even when you’re within the store itself too only be told to “Move on it was only 4 months ago” from employee of the month Joel. I can understand why no one else was in the store looking to buy furniture, absolutely appalling to say the least!

Ordered a bed to be made with promised 4-5 week delivery. After 8 weeks no contact, went in to find the manufacturer had refused the order and they had not even noticed. They changed to another manufacturer and changed the specs without my permission and promised 3 week delivery. After 4.5 weeks no contact i rang again and was advised bed was in stock. (Hadn't bothered to let me know). Delivered bed that did not meet specs (specified headboard height 400mm shorter than ordered). I refused delivery and requested a cash refund due to ongoing issues (within my rights per consumer rights & had paid cash) took a week to get a refund as they "don't have cash in store". Were really arrogant and rude even though had admitted the errors were all theirs. Worst customer service ever encountered.

Paid deposit for the bar stools, had to cancel my order the next morning, less than 24 hours later. It took almost two months to get my money back. I was lied to on a numerous occasions within these two months that my money had been deposited to my account which never happened. Only after I threatened to go to ACCC I received my money back. A quick note on why I cancelled the order. Was told it would take 6-7 weeks to supply my very expensive bar stools because they are made in Australia and needed to be manufactured. Fair enough, happy to support local industry. That night was browsing the net and found the same very stools for one third of the price, received them from Melbourne within 2 days. The stools are made...you guess...in good old China. What a bunch of scammers!

We purchased a bed suite in store at Gawler. Given an estimate of 4 weeks. Three and a half months later it arrived. Understandably COVID-19 hindered the process, however we were continually lied to about the progress of the order and the updated time of arrival. We attempted to cancel our order but were unlawfully denied a full refund. During this time we ordered a bed from another company, however given the headaches we were encountering we cancelled our order with the other company and were given a full refund within days. We continued our order and eventually received the items. The quality is good, but the headaches and hassles that we’ve encountered during this process are completely unprofessional and unnecessary. I would recommend shopping elsewhere.

After an initial misunderstanding (more so on our behalf), we purchased a BEAUTIFUL CAPITAL 6 seater (1x2, 1x3 and 1x1) sofa. The manager Trevor and his colleague Anne Marie put up with several emails which had me ranting and raving about different things..at all times they remained PROFESSIONAL and worked with us to resolve our issues. We ended up with a better product, delivered, set up and placed in our living room by 2 VERY polite, professional young gentlemen. My husband and I would like to say THANK YOU and we really do apologise for our misgivings…We will happily return (you will probably think “Oh no”), and we certainly recommend your store to anyone who wants a good product, reasonable prices and great service.

We met Joel at their display at TTP shopping centre. He was informative and extremely helpful. We needed time to think about our possible purchase... He told us we should go and grab a coffee and sort things out. We did just that and came back to purchase the Reverie king split and mlily mattresses. We signed everything and he said they would be delivered between 2 and 3 week's. Less than 3 week's later our bed was delivered but there was a problem... one of the bases didn't have legs but a quick call to Joel and he had it sorted. The delivery and installation guys were back the next day and put up the second base. We've been sleeping great since then. Thanks Joel and That's Furniture. Amazing people and product.

Overpriced cheap furniture arrived damaged, ignored completely by email, finally received refund after numerous ignored emails, still no apology. Funniest thing is the "manager" called my husband who put me on the phone and according to manager and I quote "oh and I'll deny I said this but you should get a refund but owners won't let you, I've been in retail 30 years but I'm not losing my job over this" Great manager you've got there, totally matches your unprofessional patheticness. Purchased a king bed from Thats Furniture Evanston Gardens. Fantastic price for a quality piece of furniture. Had delay with shipping & didnt arrive as per information stated to me by staff. After pleasant discussions with manager Joel we were kindly compensated with some quality bedding. Joel also communicated very well while working with the supplier to get our bed here asap. Delivery staff member was lovely, on time & rang before delivery. He took great care unloading the packages at our home. Im most impressed with the quality of our bed for the price point. Credit where credit is due, Joel is a genuine gentleman who dealt with our situation with professionalism & old fashioned service.

poor poor poor experience got a bed before xmas 4 weeks later it broke i understand they do not make the bed but when i asked for a refund because i did not want to get a bed that would just break again they refused. I also have a layby with them when they refused the refund i wanted to cancel my layby they wanted to charge me 20% cancellation fee witch was fine but when i asked them for a rundown on what the cancellation fee involved because they can only charge a reasonable amount by law they told me to call fair trade ombudsman. They are very rude and antagonistic and even laugh behind your back as your walking out the door worst retail experience i have ever had

Went and saw Joel, a rep from that's furniture, at ttp pop up. He was very knowledgeable about the product and happy to answer all questions and provided a full demo. We decided on what we wanted and the sale went smoother than silk. We were given a delivery estimate, which was spot on. The friendly delivery guys came and installed the bed with little issue. When a issue arose I contacted Joel and the situation was resolved in 20 min. Best bed we have ever owned, comfy, great for body ailments. That's furniture offered us a great deal on a great bed. Will use these guys again when the time comes.

read reviews, was a little sceptical so i decided to go in. found exactly what i was looking for. got a better place and was told i would recieve an sms / call to confirm that they were able to ordr them. followed up the next day as i was meant to pay a deposit the previous afternoon. when i called i was told the items i was after were discontinued. the sales lady didnt bother letting me know and the lady that took my phonecall had no knowledge of what i was talking about. wont be going there again. pay a bit extra and go to Harvey Norman, these people dont want your business.

We bought 2 bunk beds for our grand children. They said they would be delivered on a certain day which didn't happen when they did delivery they only had one bed on board, other grand child who is 5 cried herself to sleep cause her bed was not delivered. When they did deliver the next day they left the bed in the garage and would not delivery into her bedroom. NOT HAPPY!! We had to get someone to help her the next day. We will never buy from them again. Remember we have bought of them 4 times and this is what happens!! Not good customer service.

Bought from these guys at the Gawler store on a number of occasions. Really happy with the service and the products I have purchased. Great quality furniture at great prices. Staff super friendly without being annoying and overbearing. Dealt with Katie, Joyce and Joel. All were honest and upfront and negotiated a great deal for us. Delivery was on the planned date, and the delivery guy was great too. Polite, helpful and accommodating. Will definitely be back to buy more furniture from this company. Support local and they look after you.

The mark of a quality company is in its ability to support its products and its customers. I've seen this demonstrated first hand at That's Furniture & Bedding. Joel and the team at TF&B went to bat for us over a quality issue with the manufacturer and saw it all the way through to the complete replacement of our purchase including delivery and installation. Recommended to me I went there and so glad I did..im super fussy to what I want and after trying the usual known places I couldn't find the kids beds I preferred. I needed two..a girls single and a boys bunks, YES!! They had both and well priced. What a selection to choose from...great..and the service was inviting..Wayne didn't push but was there to assist..did I mention the FREE delivery..thank you..ill be bk to look at all the other furniture as this is my new one stop shop..

Called and asked about a few lounges and got some pricing ...3 day later walked in and spoke to Mark. Not only did he remember my name and the 3 lounges i was interested in, but he also knew exactly what i was looking for and shower me a few new ranges. Mark was an amazing sales person and did an amazing job. As someone who workes in retail for very similar items, i was stoked with the job he did. we purchased a lounge suite from That's Furniture 2 recliners and a 2 seat recliner the service was good and the delivery was prompt. However when we unpacked the suite from the boxes it was found that the 2 seat recliner had a fault. Contacted karen at That's Furniture who was extremely helpful and arranged for a replacement unit. Very happy and extremely satisfied customers.

Dodgy! Dodgy! I bought a bed, two bedsides and a mattress from That’s Furniture, but they didn’t deliver the bedsides!! I received a very poor and unprofessional customer service specially from the manager of Marion store ! He was rude and arrogant ! He hang up the phone on me! They are not reliable and trustworthy. Not recommended at all !!

Terrible qulity and costumer service terrrible spent 3000 dollars on a lounge to find there half the price for same product amd for one to stop reclining to. every one reading makesure you check ebay for any items they stock you will find them for half the price.

Very poor quality furniture we spent $1000 on several items and they are the lowest quality built manufacturered items. On a plus side there customer service was great just not their suppliers.

Don't waste your time shopping here, Harvey Norman at Munno Para has such a better furniture and bedding line as well customer service which is non existent at this shambles of a shop!
