My family has been so thankful to have found the Academy! It's a safe place that we feel confident sending our children and we are so blessed to have such a safe haven amidst so many scary and chaotic things happening in public schools right now. I have two kids who have been attending the Academy and a third who will be jumping in for Kindergarten next Fall. They are all so excited to go to school each day! They love their friends and teachers. Each night at dinner they love telling me about the cool thing they did at school that day or the new Bible lesson that they learned. The school is very upfront about parent involvement. The teachers and administration communicate consistently about what my kids are learning, which I love! They really encourage parents to reinforce what the students are learning. The cooperation between the school and parents is a healthy teamwork which enables the kids to not have compartmentalized experiences, but that they can be learning the same things and have those values reinforced both at school and at home. I also love how having a Biblical education is a top priority of the Academy. This emphasis is even witnessed in their name Academy for GOD. My kids are always telling me how they pray in each class, they incorporate the Bible into learning of all subjects, not just limited to Bible class only. Each week the school has a Biblical value that they implement and teach. It varies from level to level. These values are things like Thankfulness, Joy, Consideration, Truth, Respect, Fairness, etc... All of which are tied to a verse in the Bible but the school's emphasis is on the students' character and how their behavior has an impact on those around them. If more people in the world could learn these values that consider other people, the world would be a much better place to live! It's just been such a blessing to have my kids attend a school that has similar values as our family and that has teachers who really care for the holistic wellbeing of my kids. I'm excited about the good things that God is going to continue to do at the Academy!

Our eldest daughter has been at the academy for 4 years, kindergarten through third grade. Our son attended kindergarten this last year. I have been so impressed by the quality education our children are receiving. They are being developed into moral beings who can critically navigate their society to make an impact for good. This trajectory is quite counter-cultural to the end product produced by the typical education system in the USA. One particular aspect of the Academy that I find especially laudable is their emphasis that intelligence is shown in many forms. This philosophy leaves room for each and every child to bring their talents and personalities to life and find there is a place for them to develop to the fullest extent. In this way, the Academy does not require students to fit a prefabricated intellectual mold, but allows and helps students to discover who God has made them to be, nurturing them unto holistic development. I think that interested parents would do well to be diligent in researching the Academy. The Academy's aim is distinct and specific and unlike the typical educational experience, all of which is very clear from the information available on their website and in conversation with staff.

My eldest son spent two years in public school before attending the Academy. He has some special considerations that were a challenge to ensure were being given the proper attention while he was in public school, even with his IEP. The classes were crowded and the teachers were stretched thin. We chose the Academy so we could be absolutely sure my son was getting the time, attention and consideration for his learning differences. I was afraid of being perceived as a “helicopter” mom for how often I communicated with his teachers. It turns out that they not only welcomed my involvement but the whole administration has been amazing to work with and encourages me to be involved and have a say in his education. I never have to worry that my son will be bullied or treated poorly because character and kindness are a priority. After three years, both my sons are thriving and truly love to learn. Their grandparents are amazed at how they have learned to apply the Bible at such young ages.

I can’t praise the Academy for G.O.D. enough. I have two children enrolled in their elementary school. My kids LOVE school because of how their teachers and staff facilitate their school experience. As a parent, I’ve had the best experience engaging with the staff about my older child’s needs and receiving *so much* knowledgeable and compassionate support. My kids are seen and heard, and loved. They can tell me how Biblical principles apply to their daily practice as a good neighbor, daughter or son, student or friend. They are learning ways to navigate and understand their emotions, instead of being shut down. They are gaining confidence in reading, writing, the arts, STEM and much more. They enjoy nutritious meals with their friends. They are learning about heroes of faith and the actual Bible, learning about becoming *peacemakers* in a complicated world, and icing on the cake….developing a global consciousness. I could go on and on.

My oldest daughter went from a traumatic year in a public school (supposedly one of the best public schools) to this school. My other two kids have since gone there and all are thriving. They LOVE school and want to be there, and are excited about reading and their homework assignments. My parents have even noticed the character development. They are smart, articulate and most of all kind kids and the academy and the wonderful teachers there are largely to thank for that. I am so thankful for how much they give to see our kids succeed. My daughter lacked confidence in math, so they offered free one on one math tutoring and she grew leaps and bounds and sees it as a privilege for which she is thankful. I really can’t say enough good things. If my kids could get on here they would say the same and more. They will be well prepared for anything life throws at them.

We are currently finishing up our second year here. My daughter has been here since kindergarten and my second will Start kindergarten in the fall. I have nothing but wonderful Things to say about this place. To know your kids are loved and prayed for is life changing. I love that they focus on creating kind children who are good at conflict resolution and let them be little all while creating an atmosphere of learning. My kids thrive here and I couldn’t have asked for a better community of families and staff. 10/10 recommend

My kids have attended this school since its second year, and I couldn't be happier. The staff is caring and considerate, and has gone above and beyond even through COVID. They actually made at home learning do-able, and extended the opportunity to others around the world. Admin and teachers are God-fearing people who know what a big responsibility it is to care for kids. If your kids want biblically based education that gives them a global worldview -- this is the place.

The Academy for God has a unique, practical way of learning the academics. The school truly puts God as its focus. My granddaughter has gone from being sullen, tearful, and depressed to a peacefulness and being excited about school.
