Great reputation for a reason... I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the fantastic experience I had at this practice. It's now clear to me why this practice has such a great reputation, as the level of care and professionalism provided by every member of the team is outstanding! In particular, I would like to commend Dr. Jonathan Cochrane for his exceptional work in removing my wisdom teeth + an additional infected tooth who was giving me hard time. At the beginning I was a little bit concerned since Dr Cochrane is so young and I was worried about his level of experience but I then discovered that he's actually the Principal. Long story short, not only was the procedure performed with great skills and precision, (he didn't cause me any paresthesia that was luckily to happen due to the position of my wisdom tooth hooked around a nerve) but he also made me feel super comfortable thanks to his calm, confidence and sweet smile. I also want to thank Kieria, the doctor's assistant, and everyone at the reception (In particular Jo) for their responsiveness and warm assistance throughout the process. First visited this practise over a year ago, I had a big phobia about dentists, and my teeth were a disgrace and very, very bad. After a very relaxing consultation and having my mind put at ease I arranged to have dental implants, and now I am the happiest I could be. The whole experience was easy, and no problems and now I own a perfect set of teeth, and I have lost that phobia I had. The whole team at this surgery are second to none, they are helpful, considerate, always willing to help and put your mind at ease. Jonathan who was the main dentist working on me is amazing, and the team he uses are brilliant, the dental nurses are wonderful too, plus also the reception crew, always willing to help. Have now seen the hygienist a couple of times and they helped me on the best way to maintain my new teeth and smile. Definitely recommend, please don't hesitate to contact them, they can help you, even if you were like me, and you are not happy about going to a dentist this team can, and will help you. Just to further this review, have carried on visiting this establishment, for Hygienist appointments and a yearly check up on my implants, everything is perfect, no problems, and the Hygienist have given me great tips and ideas to keep my gums and teeth in a tip top condition.

Claire dental hygienist and Taylor were so lovely, attentive and very welcoming throughout my Zoom teeth whitening. It was an uncomfortable procedure due to the nature of the treatment as I spent 1 hour 10 minutes wearing a cheek retractor that held my mouth open in order to have my teeth whitened. Despite the discomfort of not being able to swallow for an hour and being hooked up to the whitening machine 4x 15 minutes the practitioners made this experience enjoyable whether it was though suctioning saliva, talking to me, facilitating the use of my phone so as I could self occupy, turning on the radio and just generally checking on my wellbeing. I am happy with my results and aftercare (trays and review appointment). Understandably because of the bleach I've experienced some sensitivity but this is significantly subsiding as the days go on. Despite the discomfort of treatment and pricey cost of Zoom treatment (£499) I would definitely recommend this practice, treatment and would be happy to return for further treatments.

This has been a dental practice I have attended for several years now and I’ve only ever had welcoming, kind and friendly services. The practice itself is also very clean, bright and pretty. On top of that the dentists here have completely wiped away my fear of going to the dentist. I’ve had hygienists, tooth removals and fillings at this practice, all have been amazing and due to the positive atmosphere of the practice I’ve never felt scared. They’ve also provided me with really efficient emergency appointments. I attended very recently with the new COVID restrictions for an emergency appointment. Despite the amount of work I had to get done they were so efficient, I had a different dentist to my regular who was so friendly, informative and good at explaining what was happening. The practice felt a very safe space to be during the distancing restrictions. Everyone I’ve encountered here seems lovely and I genuinely get excited about going to the dentist thanks to this place, I really couldn’t recommend it enough.

They were so helpful and accommodating. I needed a wisdom tooth extraction and they worked it out to allow me to have the consultation and extraction in one longer appointment so I didn’t have to travel a long way twice and so I could get it out as fast as possible. They gave me an appointment within a week of calling. I had tried to call at least 15 other places prior who all had waiting list of two months or more. They went out of their way to make sure I had all my questions answered and was prepared for the day. The appointment went so smoothly. I had the extraction with sedation. I was very comfortable and obviously didn’t feel a thing. The oral surgeon managed to get my wisdom tooth with absolutely no bruising and very minimal swelling. I didn’t even get a bruise where the IV sedation went in! And I bruised easily! I had great instructions for recovery and they called me the next day to make sure I was doing well. The price was every reasonable. I couldn’t recommend them enough.

From the moment I stepped into this beautiful practice, I was greeted with warmth and genuine kindness that instantly put me at ease. Mariya is such an incredible dentist. She skilfully explained each step of the procedure, making sure I understood what was happening and why it was necessary. Her gentle touch and reassuring, patient and caring demeanour eased the anxiety I had, turning what could have been a stressful experience into a very comfortable one. I wholeheartedly recommend the BDP and their services and assure you that you will be in the most capable hands, surrounded by a team of compassionate professionals who prioritise your well-being above all else. I'm now actually looking forward to going to the dentist.

I've been going to Bristol Dental Practice for over 10 years and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. I was assigned Dr Jane Ali as my dentist, she is lovely and friendly. I see Jill for my hygiene appointments, she's great. I used to see Helen who is also great, I only changed to Jill because I was assigned to her when she joined the practice and then I quickly got used to seeing Jill and I always ask for her now. Everyone I have seen at the practice has made me feel comfortable and relaxed. I had a wisdom tooth taken out by another dentist (as Dr Ali was away at the time, because of Covid), and he was fab too! (may have been Dr Cochrane but struggling to remember who extracted it for me!). Highly recommended.

Excellent Customer Service. I like the way that the front desk team always put the customer first and Linda especially has worked hard to accommodate my increasingly last minute requests for a 'double hygienist appointment'. She hasn't failed yet! I have been going here for about 3 years now and am really happy with the service. The Dental and Hygienist staff have changed over the years, but there has been no decrease in quality of service and advice - they are very attentive and do a great job. The only negative I have is that the waiting room lights are always on, even in bright sunlight in summer - energy savings could be made here.

I've been coming to the Bristol Dental Practice for about 18 months now. I had some really bad experiences with previous dentists so I have dental phobia. Every person I've dealt with here has been amazing, really kind and patient. They've spoken to me as an adult without making me feel guilty but also given me realistic and appropriate advice at all times. I've gone from having lots of gum issues to being much more stable, and able to feel comfortable in my examinations and treatments despite the dental phobia. Genuinely extremely happy with every visit I've had. Thank you to everyone, you really made a huge difference to me.

As someone with a real fear of the dentist experience, I could not be happier with The Bristol Dental Practice. They are always so kind, friendly, reassuring and extremely patient with me when I'm being a big wuss. They do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable. They offer great, honest advice and I finally feel as though I can TRUST my dentist. I have had a lot of work done here and elsewhere, and I was extremely impressed with the quality and care that went into my fillings which are seamlessly invisible and comfortable. This is now the only dental practice for me, could not recommend them highly enough.

Needing a fair amount of dental work done and being a rather anxious patient I researched dental practices and found that the Bristol Dental Practice offered conscious sedation which encouraged me to have a consultation. All the members of the reception team and the appointment coordinator were friendly, helpful and efficient. My dental consultant Dr.Cockrane explained my dental plan in a very reassuring and calm way which allayed any anxiety and along with Dr Cochrne I have nothign but praise for Dr Endicot the anaethetist who made each visit fearfree. All in all a most professional dental team to be highly recommended.

I am biased since I've been coming to this Practice for a long time, but they are all so wonderful I can't bare to leave. I had 2 emergency appointments last week & they were all so kind, sympathetic, gentle & hugely compassionate dealing with me while I was an incomprehensible, gibbering wreck. If like me you’re nervous and anxious about any dental work The Bristol Dental Practice is definitely the place to be. Friendly and very helpful staff, brilliant highly skilled dentists and nurses combined with Rob the house seditionist make for a completely stress free experience. The last thing I remember was the lovely view from the dental surgery chair as I drifted pleasantly off while the surgery took place. Had my first visit to this practice today and this will definitely be my dental practice for the foreseeable. The reception staff were both friendly and informative. I was seen by Mariya and Helen who were both fantastic. Helen was extremely informative and took some time clearly explaining things to me and ensuring that I left aware of how best to care for my teeth going forward. I was in yesterday for the start of some dental work to have an implant fitted. The team did a great job of keeping me informed and as comfortable as possible during and after the procedure. I feel as a patient this is really important as it isn't easy to comment while work is going on, so being told what is happening and how much longer it will last helps to put your mind at rest. I have been coming to the practice for a number of years and really appreciate the effort the team put it to make every patient feel special in what I'm sure is a busy practice.

Best dentist I have ever been to. I’m a very nervous patient who had some traumatic experience at a dentist when I was younger. Dr Cochrane explained every step for me and was very calming and relaxed me. My daughter had her appointment the same day and I had the pleasure to watch him work. He is so precise that is fascinating watch. He should be a brain surgeon. The receptionist are super friendly and welcoming. My teeth never been so clean and the SM posts are super entertaining. Everyone I interacted with was so lovely, I was terrified to visit the dentist as it had been a while but I was totally put at easy by everyone there. It is expensive but I feel that the quality of service and the environment is well worth it. It doesn’t feel like a conveyor belt experience that used to only make me more nervous, it feels tailored and that they are genuinely interested in your feeling and well-being! I am definitely recommending this dentist to my friends and family!

Nice pratice, nice team and so friendly. I first visited their hygiene service, I felt how honest they are with you, I booked one 1 hour but the hygienist told me I just need half an hour. Dr. Mariya is my favorite dentist of all the time. She explain the steps, which she is going to follow really in details, and won't hesitate to repeat if I didn't understand any point. and I am sure all the other dentists are the same. I really recommend it if you need a very good private dentist.

Cannot recommend The Bristol Dental Practice and Dr Mariya Godsafe enough. Through her I've had invisalign, whitening, and composite bonding. My smile now looks incredible and have had so many compliments. Mariya did an amazing job through the whole process and kept in touch to see how I was getting on. She was incredibly thoughtful on the bonding and took extra time to build out the right smile for me. The whole team at BDP are great and very caring. I won't be going anywhere else!

Was initially reluctant to pay privately but I was having severe TMJ pain and my NHS dentist had not been able to resolve this nor effectively communicate. At the Bristol Dental Practice I saw an experienced orthodontist and had a custom orthodontic splint made which solved the problem within 6 months, he also was great at explaining the problem and how the treatment worked. It was like night and day compared to the NHS treatment, if you can afford it I really recommend.

The service I’ve received, was as always excellent. I’ve been at the Practice now for over 20 years and I’ve always been very happy. I was greeted by friendly and polite staff on reception and made to feel relaxed and at ease. The Hygienist was friendly and informative and did a great job of cleaning my teeth and I was very impressed!. I also had a dental check up by Jane and as always she was great!. Very happy and will remain a loyal customer for years to come!!.

I love going to The Bristol Dental Practice. Everyone is so friendly! My Dentist is DR DEVIN VAGHELA and he is absolutely amazing! I had treatment under sedation. Rob was so reassuring and put me to sleep and Devin did all my dental work. I woke up and it was all done! I have to have more treatment soon and I am looking forward to a few more hours shut eye! If you need a dentist I would highly recommend this practice. You wont find a better team to look after you!

Bristol Dental Practice have been absolutely amazing. They were a recommendation from a friend who is a dentist in NZ and I have not looked back. Registering was easy, the staff have all been super friendly and its been easy to get appointments. Critically, they fixed my two cracked front teeth and did a root canal, where I nearly fell asleep in the chair it was so painfree! Now I have a better smile than when I started. Thanks to James, Uri and their top team!

Highly recommend this practice if you like spending exorbitant amounts of money unnecessarily. I was advised that I required multiple expensive treatments, including a root canal, before the cosmetic issue I went in for was addressed. Apparently this is standard procedure. Following an appointment with a different dental practice it turns out non of the aforementioned treatments are actually required and the cosmetic issue was fixed within 5 minutes.

Every time I see my appointment appear that month, I think to myself ‘ I really should change my dentist closer to home’ but 7 years later I’m still travelling over an hour to get to the Bristol Dental Practice because the experience is so good for something that isn’t always that nice! The friendliness, cleanliness and experience of the staff team is priceless. Thank you! Needless to say, I won’t be having anymore thoughts about changing my dentist!

This is where I visit when I need a yearly teeth health check or for every 6 months for a hygiene clean. I am very happy with all the staff and their services. Everyone is extremely kind and seem to be in a positive and happy environment. I would prefer to come in every 6 months for a Hygiene clean for my teeth and every 12 months for the teeth health check. I don’t find it Ideal to be paying £140 every 6 months :/ Thank you to all the team

Highly recommend! It is the best dentist team I have ever met. They are very professional and patient. After treatment, they teach you how to maintain your oral health and ask you if you have any confusion. From receptionist to hygenist to dentist, they like to wear big smiles on their face. I've been a patient here for a few years now, I've always had absolutely excellent service. I really can't fault the practice, it's never an issue getting an appointment and the care is exceptional. Whether a Receptionist, Hygienist or Dentist, I never feel rushed through or hurried and I have always received pragmatic expert advice and care. This was my very first visit to The Bristol Dental Practice as I am interested in gaining a quote for Implants. I was made to feel very welcome and the staff were very professional, polite and helpful. All in all it was a very relaxing, informative experience. The process and plan for implants was explained to me in great detail and all my questions were answered. Very happy with my first visit.

I cannot thank the staff here enough. I had to have an emergency wisdom tooth extraction and the professionalism of the dentist and the dental nurse went above and beyond. I was so frightened, but they were kind, empathetic and made me feel so at ease. The procedure was quick and I'm healing nicely after being given clear aftercare instructions. Only been for a consultation so far but 5 stars from the off. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming and for someone who, like myself, suffers from large amount of anxiety around these appointments and treatments, they made me feel very relaxed and comfortable. Devin is the finest dentist I have ever had without any doubt. His understanding of my multiple problems was amazing. He has all the latest techniques and is at the cutting edge of dental technology. His various procedures for me were painless, skillful and delivered with care and compassion. And such a nice man. I cannot recommend highly enough.

The guys here are fantastic. I've had to have root canal surgery and I barely had any issues with the procedure. The dentists give you a plethora of information on the health of both your teeth and gums and give you tips on flossing & brushing techniques. Honestly I couldn't be happier with the service I got from everyone at this Dental practise.

I saw the dentist Mariya and the hygienist Helen. Both of them made me feel at my ease and spent time helping me to understand what I can do at home to care for my teeth and gums. Amazing service. After poor treatment from my NHS dentist I contacted Bristol Dental Practice to repair my fixed retainer. Helen on reception and James the dentist were both so friendly, welcoming and caring. I was only supposed to be there for a quick fix with my retainer but I was so impressed with the service, I've registered as a patient.

I love this practice, you really do get the VIP treatment when it comes to dental care. My only negative is the prices have gone up dramatically in the last couple of years. A checkup followed by the hygienist care was £90 and now it’s £140. I love going to this practice but the big hikes in prices year after year need to be reigned in.

Fantastic service as always. Came in for my 6th month cleaning and found out I had chipped a molar. After the cleaning I was escorted upstairs and had the wonderful Maria sort it out in less than 40 minutes. The team here are friendly, professional and always flexible with cancellations and rebookings. Highly recommended!

I have been coming to this practice for years and though I usually see Dr Ali (who is incredible) I have had appointments with other Dr's and hygienist here and they always work at the highest level of professionalism yet at the same time make you feel relaxed and calm before/whilst work is done.

I went to see Dr Jane Ali for 2 teeth extractions and she was amazing. So reassuring, she made me feel calm and in control throughout the whole procedure. Absolutely no pain during the appointment, and I haven't had any pain since, which I was very surprised about. Would recommend!

Neat work by Dr. Mariya Godsafe, and the treatment plan she created for me to get the best out of my budget was really good. Treatment plan also helped me not to worry about getting what i needed that is also affordable.

They are professional and make me at ease as I am a very nervous patient. Devon is very kind and listens and has a kindly matter, as has Sally the hygienist. Admin staff are attentive as well. Highly recommended.
