Absolutely not going here again! I went to get dinner for me and my mum when I was in Birmingham visiting my baby brother at the children's hospital. As I went in there was an older man sat on the table next to the ordering desk eating his chicken. I ordered my food and waited by the man. Not long after, the man jumped up from the table and shouted in a language I couldn't understand, it was obvious that this man was unhappy and unsatisfied with his meal. It was when I looked down and saw the man pointing at his chicken that I realised the chicken was extremely undercooked and was pink with blood dripping off it. The man looked worried and concerned and then walked off to leave, putting his chicken in the bin as he left. He did not get offered a refund, no apology whatsoever from the cooks because they denied the chicken was undercooked when it was more than obvious it was undercooked and to be very honest I was surprised it wasn't still clucking. To put the icing on the cake, I watched the man at the ordering desk wait for the disappointed customer leave and then checked the chicken using a metal tong from the lettuce bowl and then after touching the chicken he put the tongs back into the lettuce bowl! This was not the worst part as my mum has woken up this morning with food poisoning and I have had to have the day off work to look after her because she is very ill and I am the only person home at the moment as my younger brother is still in hospital with my father and the rest of my siblings have had to go to school. All I can say is if you would like food poisoning then please feel free to go here! Thank god I didn't give my extremely ill little brother any of the chicken!

This is the worst chicken place I’ve ever been to. The chicken was made with no love, no passion only in the eyes of money. No chicken should taste the way it did. I ordered the chicken burger and chips with like 6 wings. The chicken in the chicken burger tasted stale and was so dry even the mayonnaise couldn’t save it. The lettuce didn’t taste like lettuce and lettuce and has a very simple taste. The buns on the bread tasted very hard. The wings were stale and tasted like they’ve been made a couple days ago. The chips were decent but that’s about it. The bbq sauce was watered down and tasted like water too. The only thing I enjoyed was my drink. This establishment should not be allowed to serve human beings or even animals. I urge you not to try it because it’s not worth it and you will just get a belly ache. The sad thing about all this is that my meal was £8. It deserved to be £3.50 at max. Very unhappy, I had to eat cereal

Went to childrens hospital tday and bought food from here today . 1 fillet burger , 1 chicken and chips with donner and 2 pepsis . I can confidently say i will not be going back . The food was vile . The burger buns were stale the fillet was vile and extremley salty ! Also he gave mayo the size of a 5 pence coin , the burger tasted tangy idky . Had 2 bites and couldnt have no more . I thought the rest will be ok . The chips were below avereage not even cooked properly the chicken was disgusting and too salty and donner was like rubber/plastic . Threw it all in the bin . I dont really like leaving bad reviews but when a place is bad and i think its not safe to eat i will leave a review . Only good thing i can say that its near a hospital so once you eat and if you get food poisining youve got a hospital right there but then again its a childrens hospital . Hopefully this review will make you improve on the food .

This place has been a life saver my entire year at Uni, the place doesn't look great which turns people away but if you can get past the look then i promise you its worth it. The service is brilliant, always met with a smile and always asked how you are. The owner on more than one occasion will knock off 50p-1£ if you're a bit skint and will always try and slip in extra food for you on the side for no extra charge, the food is great, absolutely lethal when you are drunk, I love Donna meat and of all the places in Birmingham ive tried so far this is by far the best. Overall, excellent service, friendly, attentive and accommodating staff, brilliant food and the fact its open till 3am is genius when you're surrounded by Student accommodations where the inhabitants dont sleep until 5am most days .

I visited this place shortly after a close friend recommended it to me. due to this, i had very high expectations as i could see the joy and happiness on her face as she told me of this establishment. However, much to my surprise as soon as i walked in i felt as if something heavy descended upon my spirit, the service was mediocre and when i finally got my food and found as place to sit, from the first bite i knew i made a big mistake, it tasted stale, old, expired, and last but not least it was definitely giving cardboard. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND . I was left fending for my life, never again. thank you for reading have a nice day and hope you have a better dining experience

I visited on a Sunday evening 7pm and it's a quiet place, I was the only person in the store at the time I ordered. Friendly guy serving, needed a few prompts for tissues and fork. Food looks good Chips freshly fried, chicken in a typical glass warmer. The tables had been used by customers and hadn't been cleaned by staff, the floor was sticky probably someone spilt a drink and it was mopped up. Dirty streaks on the floor but I was only buying for a takeaway.

I came here today expecting this place to be nice clean and tasty since its in the city center,however upon arrival it smelt of old oil,the fries were soggy and undercooked and the wings had blood in them yuck,now i have food poisoning nad upset stomach thanks! and they charge you same prices as dixy chicken but cannot afford to change there oil,health and safety officers need to pay this filthy place a visit and shut them down for good,never again avoid and go else where!

This restaurant is really close to Aston university and hence it was my go to spot for having a quick lunch. The mini fillet burger is cheap and making it to a meal would fill your tummy. Another dish i regularly order is the fried wings which is also worth the money. The fries is also go good as it will just out of the frier with the sauces required. The menu also contains fried chicken which im not a fan of and is too oily and salty. I would definitely recommend this place to students.

They want you to pay cash which is inconvenient in this day and age. I guess they like to work cash in hand better. I'm not a fussy eater by any means but every time I been there I had a bad stomach afterwards. It's like canteen food but even more bland and super salty. Only reason I go there sometimes is because they are usually open very late and everything else around is closed. When I have the choice I avoid this place. Just thinking about it now and I'm losing my appetite honestly.

Fort I would have a take out as my DD was in the childrens hospital, my god definitely not going back, 1. As we walked in the place was coved in grimey dirt! The menu board was coved. And not been cleaned, also the CCTV camera was black. Over the counter the floor needs replacing it very dirty and has not seen a mop, and there holes init. Food was minging, and over priced buy a mile. Over priced for something I would not feedy dog to. Food hygiene needs too pay a visit!

I used to love this chicken shop for years, since i was a child. The chicken had amazing flavour, the staff were welcoming and the place was clean. However after 2015/16 ive noticed the quality drop tremendously, and also a change in staff, perhaps ownership changed? the place is unkept, staff are unwelcoming, you can only use card for orders above £5 which is ridiculous and the chicken seasoning has become awful. very disappointed.

wings are way too salty but otherwise delicious. wings were way too salty... that's the bad part... chips a. Little undercooked but they were put in the fryer when I placed my order... as opposed to old chips some places serve up.. so that was good. burger was. delicious... again a little too salty. I hate spicy food... most chicken places only seem to do spicy wings... this one had wings I could enjoy so I will go back again.

Fire food, try the supreme burger , the prices are fair and staff nice. Place is a bit of a dump , so some constructive criticism is that if you’ve increased a price make the effort to change the board properly and not just write over it, I’m saying this as you eat with your eyes first and if a place looks dingy you’ll lose potential customers. Overall I’d recommend giving it a go without hesitation

This place is great for the price and expectation as its only £2 for a chicken steak burger and fries which is great for a student and omd (oh my days) the masala fish was nice and hot and tasty wayyyyyy better then I had imagined and it was also given to me quite quickly.

They are not worthy of that one star. Absolute awful hygiene. Ordered a kebabroll. Just before he began to make my food he sneezed all over his hands. Asked him to wash hands he refused to and tried to serve me with unwashed hands I had to walk out. Do not go there!

The guy at the tills who serves at midnight is very rude. He insults customers to their face in his language and is very rude. This isn't a one off incident he is consistently disgusting to customers. Get the old front of house staff back. This guy is bad.

This is not a bad place to eat, however nothing special about it either. 5/5 on price. 3/5 on taste. I had biryani which was not the best. The chicken wings are okay. one plus is that its open till quite late.

I had burgers and they were cheaper and tastier than any other place. It's the most affordable shop near city center I must say. I recommend everyone to try this place atleast once.

Chicken fillet burger is worth the mula, chips are decent, wings rather dry but you mostly get some more than you ordered as compensation I guess. Overall, decent and affordable.

Ordered 2 super burger today. Took one couple of bites and found out fillet was not cooked at all so had to throw both the burgers in the bin. Chips was ok though.

Food is fine (but a bit too salty for my taste). Service is very quick and there's plenty of lunchtime public seating in the small grassed area opposite the shop.

Staff can be very rude at times and seating situation is horrendous with low standards of hygiene however the hicken is good but prices are too high

I eat at the chicken hot Everyday, I never have any problems with the food or thr prices and it's great service especially in the night shift.
