Wow what a fabulous venue...we had a blast...it's been a few years since we were last at chili bar but the excellent vibe is still there & unpretentious like other clubs...initially we went for the bunny chows which I have to say as a durbanite was excellent...it was more than enough for 2 people actually with just the right amount of spice...the waiters even offered a top up on the gravy...we were really treated like VIPs & given excellent seating to enjoy the evening...the music varies from dance, R& B, old school etc... something for everyone...but the friendlyness from the manager Streeni was the best...the crowd is cool & friendly...will be back...

I must say, this was the first time since 2019 that i had gone to the place. I liked the improvements. Still looked similar but the finishings has definitely been improved. Very good pricing on the alcoholic beverages and even the non alcoholic drinks were great. I've always enjoyed going there, as this is a nice local place. Its decently priced, which shows its not only thinking of profit, bit also us as guests, the staff are always super friendly and they genuinely remember you. All round good music, and tbe crowd is a great mix of younger and older. Keep it up.. Till next time.

Amazing food, had pizza and their tandoori thali #2 with naan is amazing. Great atmosphere very friendly staff and patrons. Where old friends meet! Highly recommend their tandoori chicken, proper spicy and hot. Great music and accepting of every individual. Thank you!

Chilli Bar is a great hangout place, had some good times, only problen recently is with scammers who lurk within the place, watch your bags and belongings, they are out to steal your stuff, this is unfortunately a common thing in most Cape Town clubs so its not a reflection on Chilli bar itself but I had to drop a star due to my experience while being there. Other than the convincing bad guys, Chilli bar is a great place to have a lekker jol.

My cousins and I decided last minute to head out to Chilli on New Years Eve and I was very hesitant because my experience before was not nice. But this time around it was good, except for the bouncers ugly attitude that got my blood cooking but the vibe this time was good. The music was okay however the food and service was tops for us and the waiting time at the bar was minimal. All-in-All, I would not mind spending another New Years Eve and casually popping in but the food will be ordered regularly.

I used to love it but now they are recist those giants at the door are rude and won't allow you to go in unless you book 3 days before the day l wonder when that started, tried to go in and they chase is even to talk to someone standing in the pavement! There was this fat coloured man who was reayrude and said you making us not have air to breath just by standing next to the door talking to a friend.l am really disappointed it used to be a happy place but now it's something else

For the past 10 years iv been going to chilli bar, there hasn't been a disappointment to date. They have been improving since iv been coming there. It's always a vibe. There restaurant alongside the club is also a must try, tried out their bunny chows recently and I must say, it's the best bunnie chow I have ever eaten!!! The heat is perfect, meat cooked soft, bread fresh and its just perfect with the salsa. Thoroughly enjoyed it!

While seemingly the go-to place for after parties especially in the southern suburbs, the layout of the place is very plain - dancefloor practically right next to the door, no design flare & worst - the toilets are sub-par - e.g. just 2 for the men resulting in constant waiting. Considering the prices of drinks & substantial crowd, they surely make enough for a long overdue upgrade.

It wasn't packed which was nice, place needs a serious revamp though.The toilets look like a major hazard and the DJ was quite dead beat, people were standing around mostly not dancing or buying. I think he never created a vibey atmosphere. How much a bar/club makes is determined by the atmosphere the DJ creates the music he plays etc

Extremely disappointed with the portion of the lamb curry. R150 for a side plate portion with 1x small piece of meat & 2 bones. NO rice or roti included. 3x lamb curry + 1x chicken curry......the food is very tasty BUT not worth the price.

Always enjoy their food however today ordered pizza for takeaway with instructions of no bacon but replace with mushrooms this was not done. This was collected for me and only discovered when opened the pizza. Why could the order taker not follow simple instructions.... Extremely disappointed....

Chilli bar just celebrated their 25th birthday. Not many club have made it this long in Cape Town. Small venue, but you are guaranteed to have the time of your life. They also have a kitchen with some of the most amazing curries. Top spot!!!

Manager and barman very friendly, made you feel welcome. Good music , burgers were tasty , good special 3 cocktails for R 120.00. Their seats could use some xtra filling otherwise had an enjoyable evening, will go again.
