I’m not one to leave reviews, but I feel like I have to in this situation and I’d give zero stars if I could. I had an emergency dental appointment today at 10am due to wisdom tooth pain. When I got there, I was made to wait for a full hour before being seen, and patients who came after me and had later appointments were seen before me. This was frustrating but its whatever, my calendar was free today so I brushed it off. When I was called back, the nurse spoke to me and asked some general medical questions. She was lovely honestly, but the dentist I saw was absolutely horrible. I told him about my issues, and when he looked into my mouth he told me that it couldnt be my wisdom tooth because I had a cavity on the same side and it had to be that tooth that was causing issues. I have pain radiating from my wisdom tooth, it hurts to touch, it also has a cavity, its absolutely my wisdom tooth but he treated me like I was stupid and completely ignored my objections. So he worked on the other tooth, and drilled out half of it while HITTING MY NERVE only to fill it with a poorly fitted temporary filling which has left me in more pain than previously. His advice? “get a dentist”. He provided no information on aftercare, didn’t tell me how long to avoid eating and drinking, how long the filling would last, just “get a dentist” and “you can leave now”. If you’re considering going to this dentist, I strongly advise you absolutely do not unless you want to be belittled and ignored. I now have to book a second emergency appointment to fix the actual issue and get the one he “fixed” checked out because this dentist is completely incompetent.

this was our first time there (08/07/15) and my son has a learning disability and does not like going the dentist at all. I found all the staff helpfull , careing and treated my son steven in an understanding way, The place looks and feels bran new when in the treatment rooms,spot on . Mant thanks and yes I would recomend a friend .cheers.and thanks again. Update on this .I was there jan 2022 . It's a friendly dentist in a building which has a health centre ..I'm well pleased. The one thing maybe to improve could be the bit where they call your name out . My hearing is not great so maybe a bit more volume , but treatment wise sound .

Just had a wonderful experience at Dovecot Dentist today. The new dentist Dr. Zein was brilliant. He has done everything he possibly could to save my tooth, instead of just taking it out. Which I really appreciate. He spent a lot of time with me and explained everything carefully. I asked lots of questions, which he didn’t mind me doing. He is very gentle and kind. I would definitely recommend Dr Zein! Also a mention for the lovely dental nurse, who was really welcoming. And also Michelle on reception was very efficient and answered the phone immediately. Fantastic service here today.

Have a very old parent who is registered Blind, has COPD. Her skin is like paper and her legs are like balloons because of water problems so she cannot walk and is in constant pain. Doctor said they cannot do anymore as they have refered her to for a hospital appointment which is 2 months away. Also told her if the water tablets she is on don't work then just don't take them!! Very disappointed with the duty of care as it is obvious she is so depressed she is just giving up.

Wish I could give it no stars, horrible place, terrible unhelpful staff whose attitudes are appalling. I missed an appointment due to a family emergency and they took me off their books. I told them about the emergency and they didn't care and told me I'd have to find another dentist. I suffer from disabilities and we are in the middle of a pandemic so where am I supposed to find a dentist. Steer well clear of this place.

This has to be the worst dentist. My 7 year old has been waiting for a filling since January. Every time she gets an appointment they cancel it. You can't get through on the phone because they don't answer the phone. The girl actually told me that they try not to answer the phones. She said they are to busy because they have been closed for 2 years well that's a lie. When yiu go in the waiting room is always empty.

Rang in the afternoon, answered in about 2 minutes, obtained an emergency appointment for next morning, many thanks to receptionist for fitting me in. Saw Mr Zein again, very kind and gentle. Explained my options and was able to take my tooth out there and then as was in a lot of pain. Really great extraction, very quick. Would highly recommend Mr Zein.

Been phoning since 9.30am this morning, its now 11.56am and I'm still trying. The one time I got through I got hung up on, can you please implement a phone queueing system as constantly having to call and hear the busy tone for 2 and a half hours now is very annoying. At least with a queue system I would only have to call once and wait

Ive Just had 4 very old crowns replaced by Dr u Zein. I am absolutely delighted with them , they look so very natural. He is so caring about his patients and makes you feel at ease . Thankyou also to Michelle and all his team for all your kindness. I will definitely be back and would recommend you all to everyone. THANKYOU AGAIN X

Making an appointment by phone to this surgery is like trying to get through to our Prime Minister. Announcing that you are 2nd in in line - after 15 minutes it then announces you are now 5th in the queue and so and so on. All this and "The Can Can" continually blaring down your phone. One disgraceful set-up.

Terrible. Staff never answer the phone. Was first in the queue for over 20 minutes then was hung up on. My mum also tried for days, but no answer. Ended up going on person to find one receptionist sitting on her phone and the other on the PC, and saying they're too busy to answer the phone. Disgusting.

My front tooth fell out and Deepa Talagotta was very good.She displayed patience and good customer care skills.She explained the procedure fitting a crown. I was treated quickly and with great care and skill and knowledge.She is the best dentist I have been to Maureen Surtees

The Staff at the reception does not know who works there. The Dr himself had to come to reception to grab me, after pleading with the receptionists for 5 minutes whether I am at the right address or not. Pathetic and unprofessional
