I went into the location as I do normally a few times a week I asked for two glazed donuts in my dozen for my wife who likes them I usually don't get into glaze they are the boringist doughnut in the Box to me well on this day the young lady behind the counter offered me a hot and glaze in my hand there's no way I could possibly turn that down right I walk to the car and indulged in the donut in my hand oh my God making having this thing fresh from the back of the bakery changes everything I tried a cold one today and let me tell you it was terrible again the rest of the mix varieties that they offer are all pretty good nothing to scream about but definitely no complaints they do offer some fancy expensive special Donuts in the other case which I have not indulged in yet they do sell milk back there just in case your appearance like myself who has to have something with any kind of donuts are cookies as a plus they offer strawberry milk for crazies who really like that stuff

I absolutely love this donut shop. It's definitely a hidden gem in New Orleans East. I stumbled upon this place while visiting one summer driving Lyft/Uber, dropping someone off to the apartments across the street. The lady who works the counter is so friendly and welcoming. This place is better than Krispy Kreme, Tasty, and Dunkin! They always have warm, glazed donuts, and they give an extra one for you to enjoy in the car, too! My favorite are the Texas sized honey buns with just the right amount of cinnamon inside and glaze on the outside! If you're in New Orleans, you definitely need to try them. You won't be sorry, and you'll definitely be back for more. (The breakfast plate was made at home, but the donuts are from The Donut Bakery)

On April 15 my 85 year old mother gave my brother an old hundred dollar bill she'd been holding onto and sent him, a regular customer of this establishment, to buy milk and donuts. Only the woman who was there at the time kept the bill after believing it was counterfeit. After several calls in which she said they hadn't a chance to check with the bank, I finally reached George, the owner, who'd been on vacation. He promptly took care of the matter, calling me back and confirming the bill was genuine. It took a week to get the issue resolved, but the owner, once made aware of it, handled it promptly, courteously, and with integrity, apologizing for the inconvenience.

Some of the best doughnuts ever. I went for the first time Sunday 11/28 to see if the reviews were accurate and they were. I let the woman know it was my first time there, she let me sample and I immediately bought a dozen. The service is excellent (the woman that took care of me was very friendly) and she told me to come before 10am to get the best out of the product. It was already amazing so next time I come to New orleans I know I'm coming back.

This lil gem in New Orleans East..... is a reminder of hope for the community. Always busy, but line stays flowing..... IN & OUT. Glaze donuts are always hot & fresh. The other flavors are always fresh & delicious. One thing I truly love to see is pictures of kids in the community posted to the wall through the entire front area. They appreciate US & we appreciate them.

Amazing customer service and the doughnuts were to die for. Softest, freshest doughnuts I’ve ever had! She recognized that we were travelers and asked us where we were from, and then gave us a few extras “for the road”. So sweet and so generous! 10/10, will come back here next time I’m in the area!

My friends and I went here to purchase donuts to pass out to the residents empacted by the recent tornados. The owner heard our story and not only gave us a discount on each dozen we purchased but donated another dozen. Wonder establishment, I love the pictures of the kids and amazing dounuts.

If you want always fresh donuts and a super friendly staff, get over to the Donut Bakery pronto! I love the donut holes, especially the chocolate. I haven't been on a weekend in awhile but when I did they were crowded, so expect a wait. The times I've stopped during the week, I was in and out.

Horrible service, owner does not use gloves and touched every glazed donut to box it up. His hands were full of wet and dry dough. Also wearing slouchy and dingy clothes. He was very rude when asked for a refund.
