The Good Wine Shop is a friendly independent wine retailer in West London and online specialising in the finest vintages from the world’s best small producers. They have built a reputation for sourcing interesting, good value and often quirky wines from well known regions as well as far flung places. Big high street brands and supermarket wines aren’t really their thing in here however that doesn't mean they only sell expensive wine. There are wines in their range for all budgets but quality is never sacrificed. On top of that, the Good Wine Shop was named as one of the top three independent drinks retailers in the country at a national industry awards ceremony.

This is my local wine shop (Kew) and I was really impressed with the enthusiasm of Ben, who served me. He told me about the wines and recommended some brilliant wine which exactly matched my taste. My next visit wasn't a great, it was someone else serving and we didn't really feel welcome. Felt like we should just finish our drink and leave pdq.

The lovely lady there does know wine. She also does know what and how to recommend that you would like and enjoy too, not just to sell you something. She also makes it an experience personal and friendly and neighbourly, not just another buy. Do go there and let her surprise your senses with something to leave memories.

Rising from the ashes of the fire in the spring, the Good Wine Shop has a familiar look but is very fresh. An excellent selection of fine wines, beers and whisky. The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and very helpful. It is fully licensed so you can sit down and enjoy your purchase in a friendly atmosphere.

I attended Aromatic Varietals of the World at The Good Wine Shop Kew on 10 May 2023 and hugely enjoyed the tutored tasting hosted by Andrew Aldridge. Andrew showed eight wines showcasing some very well-known and some more obscure aromatic grapes, and the tasting was both delicious and fascinating.

An excellent selection of wine to pick from with amazing staff to guide you to the right bottle for any occasion. Amazing atmosphere to catch up with friends or spend an evening relaxing ( make sure to try there crackers and cheese selection ! ). Highly recommend to all.

Stopped by tonight on our way home from Kew Gardens - the lovely and knowledgeable lady who helped us suggested an excellent tawny port for my partner, on the basis of my description of his preferences. HE LOVED IT. And so did I. We will definitely be returning!

A really nice selection of wines and a great service. They even have a small selection of beers if you want something different. They are very knowledgeable about wines and will give you great recommendations that fit your budget.

Just popped in for a Christmas present for someone. great atmosphere very friendly staff clearly very knowledgable and passionate about wine. And got a free bottle with loyalty points. Look forward to visiting again very happy.

Does what it says on the tin. Good wine and very helpful and knowledgeable staff. It's also an excellent wine bar as well as a shop. Good place to meet up in the evening if you don't fancy the local pubs.

A fantastic local, independent wine shop. Good selection of wines from around the world, plus some lovely wooden tables to enjoy a glass. Staff very friendly and make it an enjoyable place to pop by.

Our favourite wine bar! We come all the time and love how the menu changes and you get to try a real variety of wines. Highly recommend the cheeseboard as an accompaniment, delicious!

I love this shop along with its sister shop in Chiswick. I always ask for advice and I'm never disappointed with the bottles I go home with. They also put on some great tastings.
