Good gym and affordable. I hop between this one and the one in Headrow. The staff are generally ok, one was really helpful a few months back and offered me a barbell pad while I was using a mat. The gym looks quite small on the outside but has quite a lot of space inside and lots of mirrors! Good and fairly spacious weight room it does lack a hack squat machine though, which the core has. And had two lifting platforms. Big changing rooms. The only negative really is that this gym gets particularly BUSY during peak times, at the headrow even during peak times its busy but still has room to breathe. At York road when it is packed its not worth being there at all. I think for the capacity is a wee bit too high. But honestly out side of peak 17:00-19:00 the gym is pretty solid.

Never again this company. Lost my job so wanted to downgrade my plan. So I rang up and the person was extremely rude. Hang up multiple times then finally got through says I need to pay a fee of £5. Nayou must be joking. So then said I want to cancel he hung up again. No respect at all to paying customers. Going to another gym. Great gym . By gym then I was told I had access till the 10th. Guess what lies. Paid for this month as well. Then your wanting more money to change. Disgusting company for staff

My first session today and I wasn't expecting a great deal in honesty. Coming from a different chain gym, I know how tired these places can be - equipment not looked after, stale sweat in every crevice, personal trainers spending more time flirting than anything else. The two gents running the place this morning were on the ball; deep cleaning equipment, separating rowdy groups, even discussing options in regards to empty or unused areas. Entirely the opposite experience I imagined!

I wouldn't join. I've been going for two months and it's alright, nothing special. But if you miss a payment or try to cancel your membership you get met with ridiculous exploitative charges and they make cancellation almost impossible. I regret joining so much. There's a new independent gym down the street, hopefully there's a less corporate and grimey vibe there, and the gym is horrific.

Love it here! Plenty of machines to choose from with a warm and friendly atmosphere. Showers and changing rooms provided also which is great. I personally love using the spin bikes and weights here, they have all sorts for everyone though! They play great music and have some really inspirational quotes throughout, one of my favourite gyms to go to!

Sound gym, nice open environment, clean male changing room, not that big but there you go. Don't know the staff but they seem sound when they're walking around, busy during the usual times but most people seem sound when you say high or whatever, probably quieter than the one in the city centre but I've never really had a issue with them.

The gyms good but i wasnt shown around on 1st visit so left wandering around looking like a spare part tut. I feel the staff rush things when showing you. To be honest i dont feel very comfortable here, I Will probably see the rest of the month what i paid for and move on-shame..

The classes are fantastic, Adam Craig and Amie Easton’s classes are great and they are really motivational, sometimes the classes are cancelled at short notice which is a shame when you look forward to going, Adam and Amie work really hard and are a credit to the gym.

Nice and well kept gym along with welcoming friendly staff. However the gym is oversubscribed and can be very busy even if you are not in at peak times. (5-8pm) But a very good gym for a budget gym and has all the equipment needed for a good workout.

Just wish it had a combat area, something as simple as a punch bag as there is loads of space for one. But other than that, the equipment is great, staff are friendly and there is always a nice atmosphere in there for those who are new to the gym.

Great gym - usually go on my way home from work a couple of times during the week - very friendly atmosphere - helpful staff - great choice of equipment - never have to wait for anything - for the price, it’s unbeatable !

Clean, well equipped, social distancing spot on. Only bern as a guest a few times, but will be joining up after lockdown done. I didn't realise how much I missed going working out til I went to THE GYM. Thanks guys

First time I've been and it's very good. Staff very friendly and it's like a tardis looks small on the outside but a descent size inside. Matrix machines. Descent hammer machines too. Very good foe the price

I love going to this gym. So clean. Plenty of cleaning supplies to wipe down equipment. Staff are really friendly and will say hello when you enter. Definitely a gym I will use regularly

Good glasses and trainers especially Adam Craig & Amy Easton who have the best interest for each individual each class is different every week even though they do multiple classes weekly

Despite only using this gym twice, my overall experience has been positive. The equipment is well-maintained, and I appreciate that even during rush hour, the gym is never too crowded.

The gym has a really substantial amount of equipment which is state of the art. The staff are friendly and helpful and the price is very good value.Plenty of parking available.

A friend of mine and me has register and member of the gym ( York road, Leeds), just wondering if you have plan to put few punching bags in the facility?

Great gym clean and tidy. Staff are all nice. The members also make sure to put weights back properly too which in my experience doesn't always happen.

Great gym to work out Modern facilities and plenty of equipment, you never have to wait for others to finish their exercises. Highly Recommended …

Good gym, good location, fab staff. Other members could be a bit nicer and put their equipment away after using it. Overall its a great place to be.

Great gym, always clean, very staff willing to help you when you need them. Decent number of kit, but can struggle to use some when it gets busy.

Adam and Aimee are brilliant but classes do get cancelled too often if they arn’t available. Too much put on them two but they are brilliant

Very cheap gym with helpful staff, the atmosphere is not intimidating. Some equipment not there that youd find in other gyms.

24 hour gym and someone forgot to unlock the door so couldn’t get in. Hopefully not the way that they are going continue

It's really good and nice but most of the time there wasn't much staff . And i dont think that there are any "clubs".

It reminds me of the old Xercise For Less great atmosphere people supportive love the equipment and love the App too

Gary Holt the PT is one of the best trainers. He knows exactly how hard to push you . Good gym Try the classes
