I usually love coming to this location as it's close and typically has great service and all the essentials I need. However, I recently ordered a window here and it is now becoming problematic. I was told it would be a 2 to 3 week delivery for pick up, at three weeks I called and was told it would arrive in another week. Three days after the expected ETA I am unable to get a new delivery date from the staff I call, I was told the manager would call me back but have yet to hear from them, and when I insisted that I need an ETA as soon as possible in order to insure my project time line would stay on track, I was told they might call back next week if they hear something. I planned for a week or two delay in the delivery, but now it looks like my renovations will be held up for months if my schedule on the window is not met. Had I known this would take so long I certainly would have shopped elsewhere, and I encourage others to be skeptical of expected timelines when dealing with Home Depot. More frustrating however is the lack of interest from the staff which has up to now been far more helpful.

Went to the paint department and brought a few paint chips from my wall and the old can of paint so I can get a correct color match . The girls were friendly enough but don’t really listen when you tell them what paint you need so they just end up wasting paint. I told the first girl it was a flat paint and they gave me eggshell. Than they had to repeatedly try to fix the color to try to match to my samples and asked me to bring more paint swatches, I can’t just keep chipping away at my wall. The paint I brought in was really awful smelling because it was very old we assumed but I left it open accidentally and the girl pushed it away rudely and stated to try to keep it closed. Ok no problem but her strong perfume doesn’t smell any better either. Well I didn’t take the paint home since it obviously wasn’t the correct match! What a waste of time. Next time I’ll go to a real paint store. I am glad I checked and didn’t just trust what they had given me since it is non refundable and I would have just ruined my walls

I ordered a washer online, including installation and my old one to be taken away. The delivery people told me that because the washer and dryer are stacked, that they cannot take my old washer, and told me to call my closest home depot. I called this home depot. I first spoke with a gentleman who's name is Brian (I believe) he was professional, and helpful. We got disconnected, so I called back, and a person called Sheila answered, they told me it clearly states in the email when you buy that the washer and dryer have to be unstacked, I asked where and they couldn't find it stated anywhere. Then they begin to become very rude, asking why I called the store when I bought it online (I was told to), why I called back when someone else was dealing with my situation (I was hung up on). When I asked them to stop getting angry with me, they stated "oh, I'm going to have a great day!!". I dearly hope nobody else has to deal with someone as rude on top of an already frustrating situation.

This is my go-to Home Depot due to the pros listed below. Pros: - Low turnover: you'll see many familiar faces, which is nice, and you'll get to know some of them by name - Really friendly service for the most part - Small enough that you can walk the whole store without getting tired - Reliable supply - Customers will randomly offer advice (I've learned quite a bit about lumber and cement!) Cons: - While the majority of the staff are really friendly, there have been a handful who were extremely rude (refusing to help locate items; sharing negative opinion that absolutely no one asked for, etc.) One employee even mimicked me, which was shocking. Another employee who was standing with two other employees told me they didn't sell bolts and told me that I needed to go elsewhere (they do sell bolts; an older employee was able to help me find them and really went above and beyond). All-in-all, the good outweighs the bad. This is a great store and I will continue shopping here.

The young kids at this store shouldn't be allowed to cut wood. The long brown haired tall weird accented kid was off a quarter inch on every cut he did for me without saying a word some of them just randomly off too not like every single one was the same quarter inch off sometimes it was a little more or a little less. I did ask once if he had a second measuring tape to let me see the lengths but he ignored me while saying some cuts arent all perfect which is ridiculous when you have a big machine like that. Plus I looked back after looking somewhere else and he is using one of the already cut pieces to measure!!!!! Been here before and the actual men that have cut it before were great. Don't let some young 20 year old cut anything for you here they couldn't care any less about the outcome. I walked with that wood 20 minutes home because I don't have a vehicle. I expect it to be right or have a second damn tape measure.

Ordered skylights - they don't have any in stock. No problem. I order skylights that say they are 46.5 x 46.5. They are NOT. Turns out the skylights are 51.5x51.5. THAT'S A BIG DIFFERENCE. I now have a hole in my roof that's big enough for a 46.5x46.5 window, I can't accommodate the larger size due to the trusses. Reached out to home depot - and they said "no worries, bring the skylights back for a refund." EXCUSE ME? I ordered 3 skylights, I paid $79 for delivery for EACH skylight. I have a hole in my roof - it's November. And I'm just supposed to pack them up in my Volvo and return them? So, when home depot had to move them, it was worth $240 but I can just do it for free? They cannot even order the replacement windows urgently. So I'm about to wait 3 weeks for windows that when they arrive may or may not be the size indicated on the home depot website. And the help I've received is less than pathetic.

Not impressed with the service at this store. Waited forever for someone to help me, when I walked up to a staff member he turned around and walked away. I chased him down and said I needed some items that were in the upper rafters. He said he'd find someone else to help me and took five minutes to find someone who then told me that he also had to find someone to help with that. 10 minutes later he finally returned with someone and the forklift. I'm also unimpressed with the website / mobile app. The inventory was way out and I had to stop at two stores to get the quantity of items I wanted. I needed a total of 9 so I went to the first store that said they had 3 (Westmount) and bought all 3,then to south Edmonton Common that said they have 6 in stock. The South Edmonton Common store actually had 12 in stock so I could have just gone there and saved myself time and travel to two different stores.

Hesitant to use in house "3D Consulting" for design/decorating. We put in an order for blind in September, they have come the wrong colour twice, and currently waiting on a third attempt. The second time the blinds were ordered they took longer to arrive than the first. The staff in store have been very helpful, but once you use the decorator they lose nearly all control over anything. Entire process is messed, when the blinds arrive they have little to no information on them, not even the colour, so hard to confirm proper delivery unless you have a sample, they are having a lot of trouble getting an ETA on what is supposed to be a rush order. Store had made some overtures to make amends, which we were happy with, but the consultants overrode those decisions to try one more time. We're hoping for quick resolution, but are not holding our breath. Will update upon conclusion.

While big box stores may appear to be similar on the surface, each location can present a unique shopping experience depending on the quality of staff and management. In this case, Home Depot Westmount distinguishes itself from others in the chain by the friendly staff who work there and their genuine interest in helping customers. From the lady who greeted me with a smile and directed me to exactly the right aisle, to the gent who gave exceptional advice about the products I was there to buy, to the self check-out attendant who helped me ring through two separate transactions without even batting an eye... Every staff member was fantastic. Plus, the store was clean and organized, and the items were exactly where the website said they'd be... How often does that happen? Great store, great staff.

  • Rob Ritchie

Aggressively unhelpful staff. Will interrupt you and block the aisle so they can make themselves feel like they're working/helping. A few staff are actually trying to be helpful, but anytime I've let one of the floor people help me it always turns into a 15-30 minute adventure of them trying to make up a solution to something they don't know much about. They usually blame it on someone/something else in the end when they can't figure it out, and I go and take care of it myself after having my time wasted. Feels weird having to tell staff where products are in the store they were just trying to tell me don't exist, or won't work for a particular job (they always do), but not all of my hope in humanity has been destroyed yet so I'll keep trying. A couple more visits might do it though.

  • Aaron Hankewich

The store and shopping experience is fine. What surprises and frustrates me is that this year for some reason, they have moved racks and racks of plants out from their garden centre onto the sidewalk and into the road, impeding vehicle traffic. The racks also extend across the entrance with a few openings here and there to allow customers access. Not only is this very inconvenient and I suspect makes entering the store more difficult for people with mobility issues, it is very difficult to see anyone coming out from between the tall and very full racks of plants as you're driving past. Inconveniencing customers and putting them at risk of being hit by a car just to show and sell more plants seems like a poor decision.

Walk in and two staff see me but do not greet me. Keep walking around, literally walk into countless staff but no one even says hello. I was getting frustrated trying to look for what I needed as it was not labelled in any of the isles so I asked someone if they could show me where it is. He looked annoyed that I asked him for help and was not friendly at all. Meanwhile while I’m trying to figure out which product was right for me, there was a staff behind me the whole entire time who never bothered to help me out. I was frustrated and annoyed at the staff so I decided to leave. I will never be returning to this Home Depot and will go where the staff are actually helpful. Don’t waste your time going here.

  • Justin Campbell

Decent location. They have a few old guys with gray hair that can actually help you and answer your questions. I was in the plumbing aisle and a customer was getting some very bad info from an employee, when they were done talking and the employee left I talked to the customer and explained what he actually needs for his project. A minute later he walked over to me and asked me another question about the wax seals in toilets, after I answered his question another customer came over and asked me a question, I had to explain that I don’t work at Home Depot I’m a plumber but I will answer your question lol it was pretty funny although I spent more time helping customers than I did actually buying stuff.

Well, I'd like to get the last 20 minutes of my life back waiting to have lumber cut, for an associate who never came. Yes, it was 8:30 when I rolled into the store, and went directly to lumber to select two 2x4x8's and immediately asked an associate for a cut. They say sure they'll call a person, but no one comes. I see about 9 employees standing around the cash registers, intermittently looking back, and still no one comes. I needed four cuts. Simple. I was left standing for 20 minutes, with not even one associate who passed me by, checking to see if I needed assistance. Used to enjoy coming to this store, but I guess I'll be going elsewhere now. I'd rather travel for decent service anyways...

Went in to this store looking for a specific part for a dryer . I've never been to this store before and am not from Edmonton . When I couldn't find the piece I needed I asked a pleasant looking elder woman for assistance. Well that's where it started she wasn't pleasant at all and when she led me like a dog I might add to the fellow in that department he treated me like a piece of dirt because I interrupted his coffee . He was a elderly man also so I kept my cool out of respect for elders . But I will never go back and I have spread this to all my family where I live a family in Edmonton . Matter of fact I'm so soured I will never go to Home Depot again .

I needed to exchange a plumbing snake purchased earlier in the evening for the larger model, so I called the Westmount Home Depot and an associate spoke with a supervisor in the plumbing department about my problem. When I arrived at the store I spoke with the helpful associate who answered my phone call. He directed me to the supervisor whom he had informed of my problem. This helpful gentleman searched for the item I needed, found it up on a top shelf, got it down for me then processed the exchange. All this happened after the store had closed because it was 2 minutes to closing when I arrived. I really appreciate the help and will shop here again.

If you find this helpful, give it a thumbs up! Customer WiFi: Washrooms: yes Parking: free parking lot The Product(s)/Service: a smaller location than most so the selection is a little more limited. The loading zone is also only one lane and fairly short so sometimes it takes a while to get your stuff The People: all the staff I've run into have been super friendly. Had a staff member who was collecting carts outside offer to help me load drywall (I was trying to do this by myself) without me asking for assistance. He also came back afterwards to check if I needed anything else. If you found this helpful, let me know by leaving a thumbs up!

I went in looking for 4pack of 1lb propane bottles. Website said they had 30 of them, 2 weeks ago. Just about to turn down an aisle in their seasonal and an employee asked if everything was ok, so I asked where's the 4packs of propane? He takes me to their welding area and shows me the single bottles for 8.94 each. I said too expensive buying singles. So I said thank you and he said he hadn't seen any 4packs, so I went back to the aisle I was going to go down and halfway down in a display in the aisle, not on the shelf was a bunch of 4packs! 5.44 eastern is what they worked out to be so I bought 2 of the 4packs. Holiday help, I guess.

Home Depot has changed return policy where they need all personal information of the drivers licence to return anything bought on gift card or store credit in addition to receipt and that store card or gift card. This is in name of low prices and fraud prevention. I used to spend $10,000 to $15,000 a year and I used to shop in home Depot because it was easy. This is not easy this is very difficult now and I am not going to sale my personal information for $15 dollars I would get back for product I was hoping to return. Home Depot can Kiss Goodbye my $15000 a year I was spending there. This is definately last time I am shopping there.

"Never has anything in stock, staff are useless" that was four years ago, and as of today, January 20 2021 12:35pm it's still the same. I went in to buy a chainsaw, and couldn't find any bar and chain oil. I asked a lady, and she said oh they probably packed it away. And just stared at me. In stead of a solution like, oh I will go to the back and find some for you she just repeated herself yup they must of packed it away. Excellent customer service, retention and problem solving skills. (sarcasm). Home Depot just lost an approximate $400 sale, and a customer for life. If I could rate 0 I would. Hello Lowe's, my new best friend

Went to Home Depot, you know, the place where “Doers get more done” I stopped in the electrical department. After a couple of minutes, I found a LED transformer that was rated for 24w. The LED strip lights that I have are rated for 2w each. By my figuring, the four sets of lights should draw 8w, leaving me comfortably under the 24w but allowing for more should I want. I thought it would be prudent, to find a Home Depot employee working the electrical side to run my theory. Well, I found the “expert” who after a fair amount of waffling said “err, to be honest, I don’t know” Well that just isn’t “How doers get more done”

  • Cory Sherban

Found what I needed and was helped to save even more money by price match +10% by the helpful and cheerful staff...... Update, this will be the last time I ever visit this home Depot, especially following the snot nosed sales staff in the paint department. If you hate your job, quit, go to school and get a better one, because I don't need, nor will I put up with the kind of attitude that I just encountered. The manager that I reported this interaction to was ineffectual, and offered absolutely nothing in way of reparations or apology. If you need to go to home Depot, go to a different one.

  • Weent Taguy

I noticed here sometimes the associates are very helpful & friendly, others simply hideout or pretend they're busy when you're approaching them. If you don't know where a product is, say so! Years ago when my late son first started his 1st job at Canadian Tire, I mentioned to him to go in an hour early and learn the layout of the floor and learn where the products are, and he did. I was amazed in a few days he pretty knew where most of the products were located. I knew about this from my step-dad when I got a job in a small town hardware store.

  • Josh Haughton

Come to this store a few times a week on average because of proximity and because we have an account here. The staff are friendly and their return policy is good. But NEVER trust the lowest price guarantee. They are advertising that while banking on the fact that people won't shop around or know where to go to get what. In most cases you can get it for 50-70% of what HD charges somewhere else. And they won't match because of x,y,z. But they are good for when you need a variety of items and don't want to go to 5 different stores..

  • Paula Y

I was looking for some remover (for underlay) asked for help but the girl in the department couldn't be bothered to come talk to me. Made the woman who wasn't in the department play relay with my questions. And then they product suggested through this process was junk and didn't work at all for what I needed. The woman who actually helped me, I dont blame, she did her best and was incredibly nice. But you could tell she had no idea what she was talking about. It wasn't her area. Waste of time and money for me that day

  • Chu Jones

This homedepot is one of the very well organized location, the store is clean, product offerings are good. They have extremely knowledgeable staffs that saved me more than one occasion on plumbing and electrical needs. The painting department is also very helpful. The employees in general are the most friendly ones I've met (maybe I visit too often!) I will always recommend this location weekend warriors, you can be sure that staffs will always give the most economical and helpful advice to your problems!

  • Hani Rizvi

We have had a very pleasant experience with the staff here, especially Drago, Shelagh, Shannon, Susan, Martin and Miles. They have have all been very helpful and went above and beyond in order to provide us with good service. Even though this was our first time visiting their store, Shannon and the others provided us with good advice and she accommodated our needs with packaging and shipping, as we had driven down from Yellowknife. We enjoyed shopping here and interacting with the friendly staff.

  • Jenn Corpe

I would love to give Sarah in appliances 5 stars. The rest of the staff never looked at me once. 3 workers down one aisle, not one acknowledged me. I've worked retail in big box stores as a manager so service is a big thing to me. I was in that store for about 45 mins before I was helped. Sarah was wonderful. For only being there since August, her knowledge was great, her personality is awesome. she went over everything I was looking at and even showed me her favourites. Very engaged.

  • Marlo Cottrell

A year and a half ago we went to West Mount Home Depot in Edmonton. To complete a project, we needed one single nut worth a few cents and we were having problems finding it. The lady from that department treated us like we were spending a fortune, by the customer service and time she spent to find that darn nut. She was absolutely amazing and as a result, I recommend anyone to go there. Thank you for that memorable trip to the store. She went above and beyond to help.

  • Niraja Roy

I phoned your store today, March 4, 2022 around 2:30 pm, my call was answered by Fatma, one of your sales associates. I found her to be very genuine, respectful, honest, professional, knowledgeable, helpful with excellent listening skills. She answered all my questions regarding Hampton Bay Gazebos, the ordering procedures, options available to me. She has a lot of potential, she is an asset to your store. My name is nellie.(Niraja).

  • Adam Northey

Not happy aa 2nd time to home depot from Saturday morning and Monday evening that few staffs not help me much on light bulbs for my Christmas post. This evening Customer service staff said good bye after I got refund and hope solve problems with my light post. I was hoping solution but no lucky and Disappointed. Not happy with staff what she said "good bye" after read my message on my phone.

I was helping my 73 yr old aunt for a side lining for her basement. We asked 2 people to help but we were sent from one end to another end. I thought it was rediculous when nobody was willing to help. Finally, we found such a very polite, helpful staff. He took us to the right place, found the right stuff and even cut it to the length to fit in my car. He is Jeremy. 5 stars for this guy.

  • Dean Mayo (Alberta Bushcrafter)

Smaller store but still quite well stocked. Plus, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable. I quit going to Rona and Lowe's altogether because of this store and the Edmonton West store. However, I have to dock it a full star because the entrance and exit both reek of cinnamon and it's overpowering. It smells like someone chugged a bottle of Fireball and then threw up.

  • Jennifer B

Martha in appliances is one of THE BEST sale professionals I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She was super knowledgeable, HONEST, and to the point. She made a major purchase seamless and easy. We will now go out of our way to bring our future business to her. Absolutely seek her out if you are making a major purchase or doing a renovation - she's a true gem!

  • Tammy Muise

Horrible service. Dont go unless you have lots of time to wait for someone to help. Just left the store. Got tired of waiting for help after half an hour standing in the paint isle. They obviously need to hire more than one staff member for the paint section. As she said she would get around to helping me and never did. Finally just left with no help and no stain.

  • Darling Champagne

Often out of products, but well staffed and easy to find help and get what you need. There's rarely an option to go through normal person checkout so it can be a little bit of a slow down in that regard. I went in this case for their paint selection and so I can specifically say that they color matched me within 2 minutes and I was out of there in less than 10.

  • Dwight Byron

I ordered a Ryobi lawn mower online through Home Depot, Rocky View Calgary and was sent to the shipping company Day and Ross. The shipping company lost my lawn mower. The kind Manager at Home Depot in Edmonton replaced the cheaper Ryobi mower with a more expensive mower for the same cheaper price. Home Depot is my wife and I's our favorite store.

  • Simon

My dad had this old paint that wasn't made anymore and he brought it here. They were able to match it really well and even got the finish really close. The finished job looks bright and clean, thanks paint guys! Honestly this Home Depot has some patient and dedicated staff, it is really great to see people this dedicated to helping customers.

  • Nancy Hardowa

Great Customer service here! I had, had bad experience trying to purchase an AC unit at the west end one so I came to this location instead. They were happy to help and take my business, Rick in Electrical was able to get the unit I had wanted down from storage and cart it up for us really quickly. Will definitely come back to this location.

  • sandra Jay

My visit to the homedepot at Westmount was a great experience. Their employees were professional, easy to work with, and extremely personable. Baillie and Susan in lumber made my first time purchasing construction material very easy. Thank you to them both and to the employee that answered my phone call to correct my error. Great place.

  • Darryl Molloy

Fairly standard for a Home Depot - but I was impressed by the sheer volume of merchandise they had. The staff could have been more helpful but it could have been an off day as this was the first time visiting this location. Definitely will have to make a return visit to provide a true comparison on the customer service experience.

  • Nick L

Self checkout said the reasons for items being scanned incorrectly was because "they were a multibillion dollar company" They items that scanned in were tagged lower then the scanned price. Anyone not aware would have paid more by not asking them to change the price. Frustrating experience which employees blamed the "system."

  • Kevin Moncrieff

Typical franchise department store but have found the Westmount location products not available even though their website showed that they were in stock. This has happened to me several times. Better inventory management required so customers won't waste their time visiting the store only to leave frustrated and empty handed.

  • Shaun Hughes

Bought a brand new washer/dryer. When laundry piled up I did my first load. The first time I used the dryer I got an error code. I called Home Depot and they told me I only had 48 hours to report an issue. I wish they had of told me about this policy when I was making my purchase, I would have brought my business elsewhere.

  • Jody

The man working in the tool rental area was so incredibly rude this afternoon and refused to do a service (which has been done for me at this store ample times). Simple cutting of pre measured screws. After spending hundreds of dollars at this store this past month alone, I’ll find another Home Depot to shop at from now on.

  • Rye Weskey

Nice job on the new thinner plastic bags. Didn't even make it 30 feet out of your exit before a tube of silicone blew a hole in the bag and items fell out. If you make the bags thinner, so that I now have to triple bag something for the items to survive the trip. What is the point in making them thinner lol.

  • Spencer Palmer

It's The Home Depot. You know what you're getting into. Is it the best? No. Is it the worst? No. It has good selection and okay prices. It's more of a hardware store than Canadian Tire. A few staff are incredibly knowledgeable and others are not so much. I will go back because it's usually the best option.

  • Lauren Marusin

Tomasita was absolutely lovely! Along with two other girls that helped me in the paint section this evening. I walked in clueless with only a picture on my phone of what I wanted to do. I left feeling confident and so excited for my little project. Amazing customer service, and guidance. thank you again.

  • Demi

honestly this place is the best. it has been twice now where the item we were looking at said it was on sale got to the till and it rang in full price, or on sale but the sale ended a day or 2 before and they still honor the sale. and also the ladies in the paint department are awesome and very helpful!

  • Rick L'Hirondelle

Home depot in general is a heartless entity focused solely on profits, and disinformation. I applied for work there on multiple occasions and have not been yet contacted, but have been made to think that I didn't respond to any communication sent, when there was no communication sent except dismissal.

  • SYL_YEG

Smaller home Depot than other stores but I don't have a problem swinging by if I'm in the area and need something. The store is clean. It's got lots of parking and is by Westmount mall so there's other places to run errands nearby which I find quite convenient. Also they have fun blowers!!

  • Gerald Wildeman

Do not recommend. Staff selected items for me out of a clearly marked sale display and the cashier wouldn’t give me the sale price. Had me wait for over ten minutes to check items and then told me they couldn’t substitute items or give me a sale price. Wasted time. Rampant incompetence.

  • Dal Cosby

Always come out with more than I need. Thank you for having the sale items by the check out. Decent prices. Would be a 5 star review if the staff were a little more approachable. Seemed to be avoiding customers this visit. Instead we wondered aimlessly around looking for what we needed.

  • susan “Sue” moore

Clean and crisp, with some things not much for choice. They had only 2 kinds of mirror clips for mounting mirrors onto the walls and I could not match the bathroom tile in my shower but all in all, a pleasure to shop and look at The HomeDepot in Westmount. I'm going back for rugs soon.

  • Irene C

Anup was beyond helpful with our search for backsplash. He was very patient, accommodating and listened to our needs and budget. Jessie was very helpful and pleasant as well when she helped us unload boxes of tiles to our vehicle. Great teamwork and customer service from this store!!!

  • dana diplock

Took my mom there to get some screws and had the BEST custmer service I have ever had from any home depot or any other kind of hardwear store.A very knowledgeable and pleasant dark haired girl named Lexi went above and beond to get us what my mom needed--This girl deserves a raise!

  • Dallas N.

Home Depot gets an extra star today. Brenda helped me find the screws that fell out of the door seal package I bought there a week ago. Brenda deserves praise for being very helpful in this matter saving me the cost of buying the screws as I was prepared to do, thanks Brenda!

Great go to place for all my home renovation projects. Plenty of staff available to sell you flooring, appliances & cabinets, but hit and miss in plumbing, electrical & the other more technical areas. Still almost always leave with what I need. PS. Avoid weekends if possible.

  • Bruce Scott

The older gentleman in the drywall department was very helpful. He let me know that the Mold Tough drywall would be best to prevent mold in my kitchen reno. He also cut the sheet down into four 2' x 4' pieces to get in my car. He had the necessary drywall T square for that.

Being a more home improvement and carpentry type of retailer I was surprised to be able to find a soldering iron for electronics there especially on Christmas eve. Home Depot even has a pleasant surprise scent of woodike visiting a lumber yard during my childhood.

  • CRASH TEST OGRE

Where to start...this store has rude staff, is constantly out of stock of items, there are never any staff knowledgeable about the products they sell. Been a customer for over 9 years, now I'm honestly fed up and going to shop outside my area as much as possible.

  • Si RogerNi

Great selection of hardware materials. The attendants were accommodating and helpful. Not as big compared to the Skyview and Terra Losa locations. There might be items they don't have but will be available in other locations and they can always refer you to them.

  • Sean McCaughan

I went there to swap out a cartridge on a dripping kitchen faucet and was helped out by Chris and Riley. These guys were the best! They saved me lots of time and money with thier help and were great all round. Top notch service; this is my new hardware store.

  • Ron Cann

Had a poor selection of 2×4s, all had chipped edges and were warped. When I asked a sales associate if there were more he never came back in the 16 minutes I waited for him. Went to Lowes to get the wood I needed as home depot didn't seem to want my business.

  • Jim Fowler

Easy to buy an appliance from them but they cannot deliver and install it reliably. Two times now they have messed up a delivery date and not even an acknowledgement of their responsibility or an apology. They blame the installers who blame the store. TRASH

  • Loren Daoust

Tried to purchase a $400 deadbolt but the service rep cutting $2 keys could not be bothered to unlock the case until they figured out how make the key cutting machine work properly. Ignored us for 15 minutes before I decided to just order one on Amazon.

  • Rada Geddes

They provide amazing advice for Do yourself work. I went into plumbing section today the person H. that help me was absolutely amazing. I brought in a picture he have me all parts for my work I went home and literally replaced dishwasher valve in 5 min.

  • Akhmed Shabatat

Oh man am I really gonna review home depot? What is there to say it is home depot, has everything you need to build a nuclear reac.... I mean to fix your house or whatever project you have, prices are meh but somethings are cheap and high quality

  • malicious immortal

Home Depot is well-stocked home development store. They have ample employees to help you with your shopping needs. They are courteous and professional and always Greet you with a smile. There are always good deals on products that a person needs.

  • Mark McDonald

Home renovations? I enjoy coming here and getting my head thinking what I could do to improve the house. Bought a new nest doorbell and so easy to install by yourself. Tons of parking and knowledgeable staff for the rare item you can’t find.

  • Alireza Nadryfard

The staff are polite and helpful, even though sometimes hard to find. The variety of products is excellent. I believe if you're looking for a tool or any stuff for your home, you won't regret going there. By and large, I enjoyed this store.

  • Gary Belanger

So after calling the store to confirm that they had the item we were interested in, and being told they had 2 in stock, I drove all the way down from Barrhead (2.5 hours return), to find none on the shelf. Asked one of the sales reps. "Yes

I like HD and usually give five stars, but this location is smaller than the other ones in Edmonton and thus has fewer products. Parking is free and adequate. Always check product availability, online, before visiting any location (it can

This Home Depot is a disaster. Know idea why but while most home depots try to save money by keeping skeleton staff this one goes off the deep end. Could not have been more than 4 people in the whole store on the floor that were employees

  • chrisrocks1235

I was absolutely blown away by the service i received. There was a butane torch that was said to be in stock at every location. I even called my local home depot and they said it was in stock. Upon arrival i'm told by several staff that

We have an apartment building in Oliver and periodically need new apt stoves or fridges and have dealt with Martha many times. She is efficient, knows her job and the product and most of all is a pleasure to deal with. One time we dealt

One of the greatest services I got in a while. Young guy named Hamoud (hopefully I spelled his name right) helped me looking for a seal for my shower. Even though he wasn't familiar with the department he did his best to help me out. We

If it were just one thing I wouldn't bother writing this we all have off days but this store consistently has service and stock issues. The manager is mediocre at best. The worst is the girl at the service desk. Stood there waiting for

  • Natasza Holowatinc

Vast inventory, quick and easy stop for supplies. But employees are not given enough training for expertise or knowledge in departments. And the company should find ways to cut costs to pass savings on to their customers. So expensive.

  • Brent Macklem

If you don't know ask. These staff have been extremely helpful in sourcing the right tools or products that you need for that tap, toilet, drain, electrical etc. Each store I have gone too is friendly and grateful you are there.

  • TheSoulshrinker

The staff member assisting me was absolutely useless, couldn't be bothered to ACTUALLY look for an item, was told the last item in stock was probably stolen or lost. Told me to check a different location. Very disappointing.

  • Cyndi Hot

Service was not as bad as days before, few staff sees you but don't offer help you need to approach them. Sure more people don't bother to ask for help if they don't see items they are looking for they just go elsewhere.

  • Super D McGillis

We found some gorgeous flowers for our front yard, great selection, excellent customer service I was almost overwhelmed with what to choose, but managed. I recommend Home Depot for all your garden needs. ❤ …

  • Tyler Fankhanel

Went for a drywall cut out tool. I was told they couldn't find it so they told me to go to a different store. There was supposed to be 3 in stock. Maybe you guys should keep better track of your products.

  • Emily K

This location rarely has anything in stock. I'm always sure to check the website before heading over. Should I have to call as well? If I could rate just the website that would likely be more appropriate.

  • Mac (Mac)

Staff was unhelpful, didn't know where steel pipes were located. Sent me all around the store. Cashier was cranky with me when I was five minutes past closing despite being run all over the store.

  • Bryden Schultz

Friendly staff. Some items not always available. Probably due to covid. Store us a little small. Parking lot is often busy. Always look for some deals and items on sale. Location is handy. Cheers

  • merhawi abraham

I bought a monster drink today and it felt a bit different. So, I opened the can and found disgusting stuff inside. Please check the expiration date of your product before you poison someone.

  • phil

Terrible store management helped at the end, but had a lot of issues with staff ordered items that I never ordered. Ordered wrong items. Better off going to a different store too many issues.

  • Bruce Elniski

We purchased timbers and mini ties and rented a post hole auger. All staff were friendly, in a good mood and very helpful. Thanks for helping make a difficult retaining wall job easier!

  • Wax Wings Entertainment

Good place to buy stuff. Good prices on some things. My only problem is they advertised for a cordless sander for $40, but it doesn't include the battery. Another $130 for the battery.

  • Jean Gibbs

Always, enjoy my time here, well organized, helpful staff, lots of options for many projects, trusted solutions, excellence. Thanks for making my work, hobbies and home repairs easier.

  • Arieahn Flores

I had amazing help at this location. The staff were extremely helpful in finding what I needed and answering questions I had. Thank you to Noshin for the excellent customer service.

  • Alberta Inspector

Average Home Depot. Prices of most things are VERY INFLATED. I would not recommend attending Home Depot until the prices return to normal, unless you need something quickly.

  • Libby Grant

They price match! Omg even if the online store shows cheaper or another store advertisement, recipient will work. Pretty big with loads of paint gardening house hold needs.

  • Natnael Woldu

A gentleman name Bob is very helpful. He helped me finding all what I was looking for. Plus he also helped me to get best deals. He is expert, knows Everything about sales.

  • Justice Miller

Here a few times a week, it is a nice location usually not super busy. 5 stars forsure because they have been very helpful amd lenient with my returns in the last month.

  • JC Yu

* Lots of selection * Helpful Staff * Lots of parking Pretty standard but I have never had a bad experience here and I have always been offered help when I have gone.

  • Glenn Donovan Miller
