The staff are friendly, but incompetent. I ordered 12 large garden stepping stones on Saturday, asking for a delivery. After 10 minutes of prepping my order, the cashier had mistakenly not charged me for the delivery, only charging me for the stones, and we had to go through the whole order process again. NBD, mistakes happen. As we're going through the order, the worker told me they only do deliveries during the weekdays between 8AM-4PM. Since I work til 4PM most weekdays, I asked if they could deliver it the following Thursday, the one day I'd be home all day. They said sure. The Monday after I placed the order, I got a call from the store telling me that they cannot do a delivery after 4PM that Monday. I told them that's fine, I asked for the delivery to be set for anytime on Thursday, not Monday. "Our mistake, the order says after 4PM delivery only, but we can't change the delivery day on the day of, so we'll change it tomorrow, and set it for Thursday!" NBD, mistakes happen. On Tuesday, I get 3 separate phone calls from 3 different associates confirming that the delivery will indeed be arriving on Thursday before 4PM. A little overkill, they could have communicated between the team that the order had already been confirmed, but 3 different phone calls about the same thing is NBD. Stuff happens. Today, as I'm writing this, it's nearly 4PM on the Thursday of the "confirmed" delivery day, yet I received no phone call from a delivery driver all day. I call the store up, and after a few tries to get a hold of someone they confirm to me that they set the delivery for AFTER 4PM today. But the kicker is, all the stepping stones I've ordered are still there at the store, not loaded on a truck, and from what I understood this entire time, the deliveries don't occur after 4PM. Incompetence. Edit: They never delivered it. This was a 2 star review because I wanted to be fair at how nice the staff have been, but the service is terrible. 1 star.

UPDATE, Jan 6th, 2023: The new part is lost in transit, STILL no hot water after more than 2 weeks... Do NOT buy a Rheem hot water tank from Home Depot! Buy a different brand from a local plumber, who will service and stand by their product, 24x7! We had a Rheem Performance Plus 50 gallon hot water tank put in several years ago and it worked fine, up until late December 2022. We called Home Depot for service and they referred us to their contractor list, we chose Hydro Flo in Edmonton, AB. They came out on Friday, December 23rd and diagnosed a defective gas control valve, they called Rheem to get a new valve... and they were closed for the holidays! We were without hot water for Christmas! When Rheem reopened on Wednesday, December 28th, Hydro Flo ordered the new part and had it shipped out to be installed on the next day. After the install, it worked for 2 hours, then no more hot water... AGAIN! It wasn't until 9PM that we discovered this, after trying to light the tank ourselves, we called Hydro Flo and they came in the next morning, Friday, December 30th. They came up with the same diagnosis, the new gas valve was also DEFECTIVE! They called Rheem for another part, and they were closed... AGAIN! We are going to be without hot water for New Years! Hopefully, when they open again on Tuesday, January 3rd, we'll be able to order a new part, get it shipped and installed on Wednesday, January 4th, 2 weeks after we first lost our hot water tank... Hydro Flo tried to get Home Depot to help, but they said their hands were tied without authorization from Rheem, who were, of course, closed for the holidays. Don't be Rheem'd, get something else, from someone else, who will service and stand by their product, 24x7!

I have visited this place quite a while and it has very helpful staff. I used to like Home Depot, but not sure if I continue to shop here. Here is why: My wife bought dishwasher, dryer, and washer in December but they delivered dryer and washer about a month later than they promised and we still haven't received the dishwasher yet (March). In this process, we have been frustrated and underwhelmed at the lack of a proper process to keep customers updated about the delivery or the installation. We were told to call here and there to find out the delivery and promised many times to be updated. However, each effort ended up with one call and there has been no follow-up. We ended up being informed that the dishwasher is missing with a speculation that it was delivered to another house for free, which is very hard to believe. We have felt that Home Depos is not honest with us or/and the company is trying hard not to be responsible and not to sort things out (or working hard to offer poor services). To make it worse, we are told to do this one day and do another thing next day, and it seems managers are making new rules and fresh excuse to give worse experience to customers. For example, we were informed that our appliance is missing (for a few weeks at least) and asked to come in and talk to a manager about the follow-up. However, we were told today that Home Depot made a new rule yesterday and they have to do one more step. I cannot help wondering why the step could not be done earlier since this piece has been missing for a few weeks instead of saying "please wait" one more time. We all know what is the consequence of poor customer service and irresponsible management.

Very frequent shopper as I truly love doing my own work around the house. Went this morning to pick up some drywall. Store very quiet as I worked to load 6 sheets of drywall on too a flatbed cart. A little heavy yea as they are taped two together but super awkward to move with just one person and a cart that is rolling around. I had no less then 3 employees watch or walk by with no offer of assistance. It would have taken 3 minutes and all of them with nothing more pressing I am sure. When outside and loading into the truck, granted a little easier, but again, one employee stacking wood and one looking for carts to take back of which there was none because it was so early, but not an offer to help. Whatever happened to customer service? Simple things like offering a hand. I was at Costco the other day and saw and elderly couple come of of the store and roll their cart up to their van with 14 bags of softener salt. No Costco employee around to help either. You should not have to ask for help, it should just be common sense and service to offer help. Oh yes! Of course I walked over and loaded all of their salt into their van and then put the cart away for them, because that is the right thing to do. Seriously disappointed! I should give credit to one young Lady at the front desk who is always awesome and always very helpful. If I get her name I will post that with 5 stars.

Honestly the worst home Depot in the Edmonton area. We have tried this store many times as it's close to us but the service is really poor. Our last attempt was to purchase a framing nailer and a miter saw. They had a promotion on for a free stand. Not even the reason we wanted the saw. After talking to the sales rep he seemed disinterested in the sale nor helping us. Upon talking with the manager things just got worse. She told us they don't have the stands. The reps can't get them and they have been out for months. They were not able to help in any way, no rain checks no substitutions and it wasn't their fault this new sale started. Long story short. We went to the west end store. They had lots of stands, and the saw we needed and they were willing to help get the framing nailer since it needed to be shipped in. Same rep that works at the west store does the Windermere store to. So it's not the reps fault there was no product. It's the Windermere home depot and their staff who are just there for a pay day I'm sure some of their employees are good but if the managers aren't willing to help you out then the whole store is a lost cause in my opinion. Good managers will have good employees.

Good location and mostly very nice staff. However, there is a room for L*na to improve her attitude to customers. She seems to be used to distrusting / offending customers for whatever reason she thought reasonable. A while ago she stopped me for pretty a while when I was scanning 3 connected buckets for only $9 while turned out it was a mistake made by the staff. However after that I didn’t hear any sorry or apology from herself by taking so much of my time there. Today, she saw me walked in the store with shoes in my hand as it was too warm later in the store and I really could not bear it any more. She stopped me and said “you have to put on the shoes. For your own safety. OK?” I certainly understand that there may be a regulation and even appreciate her concern on a customer however I don’t really appreciate her stiff face, attitude and her educating tone like a teacher got hold of a misbehaving student. She forgot her role as a service staff. If I were her, I would at least start with a warm greeting to the customer and then start my lecture and then say thanks for the cooperation of the customer. But unfortunately it seems never to be in her etiquette list.

You must understand that Home Depot covers a wide range of supplies from gardening to construction. In some areas, I would give almost 5 stars but in some departments, I would give maybe 2 stars. In terms of gardening, there isn't the caliber of a nursery, and the quality of most plants aren't great. For gardening, I recommend other Home Depots such as the one in South Common or just a nursery. Gardening department is about 1 star. In terms of construction, it's easy to access and has materials to build or repair any basic things. For a quick trip, I highly recommend Home Depot. Quality of the materials itself is a solid 4. Lastly, anything to do with interior (tiles, lights, etc.) Is my absolute go to. Quality and option is there and it's probably the strong point in terms of what you can buy at home Depot. Oh, one more thing, the service is 4.5. the workers are very kind but the thing that holds me back from giving a 5 is that the workers are only familiar in their section of the building. If you ask, the cashier where bricks are, they'll probably bring you to the dumpster. Don't worry most of them don't do this, but many do.

Went in looking for a smoke detector replacement. Ran into 2 associates in the paint section. Directed to aisle 5 and the associate would send someone to help me. Help never came. No associates to be seen in the proximity of aisle 5. I finally picked a detector - fingers crossed. Hope it will work. Went to pay for my purchase. No cashiers. Just self checkouts. And the two associates supervising self checkouts. Zero help and they expect you to work for free too. Associates are hard to actually get assistance from but you can spot them in pods of 2 or 3 conversing and socializing with no cares in the world - on a Saturday around noon in nooks around the store. It's nice to know that Home Depot Windermere believes in paying associates to do nothing and having customers work for free. Interesting new business model. I would not recommend them. Unless you know what you are looking for and enjoy working for free to do their jobs for them, or, are a contractor that they do hire cashiers for, skip this location. Yet another in the new trend of businesses that seem to hire people for show and not to help when you need it.

I've gone to this store since it opened a few years ago. It's clean, usually well stocked, and staff are helpful and friendly. I wish they had more than one working scooter for disabled seniors, and the new scooter has a tiny basket, but other than that, it's a really good store. I got about 20 tote boxes in September 2022, and an employee named Sam went way waaay out of his way to help me, including just about doing cirque de soleil type moves to try to get totes from the very back of an upper shelf and finding the lids, and volunteering to take them to my vehicle even though I didn't realize I really needed a kind helper that day until he offered a second time. I still feel bad though because I lost my receipt, so I couldn't leave feedback on the HD website about him. I left a message for the store manager, but never heard back. (Kind, thoughtful, professional employees anywhere are rare these days, so I do make an effort to thank them and their managers). Thanks again, Sam, if you're reading this!

I desperately needed some concrete stepping stones last week, outside of the season. The garden Centre was closed and no machinery would operate to get me the stones so my online order out of the Windermere location was cancelled. I went in to see if there is a way to get some of them. Kelsey and Zack, two young associates at the Home Depot Windermere location went above and beyond to help me. They checked their inventory's location and got me 24 stones. It took them a good half an hour to figure it out and get the products out but they understood that I need them so badly when they could easily just dismiss me. I was so impressed by their willingness to help. If I could do something more than writing a good review to make sure their great work as far as customer service doesn't go unnoticed, I would. Many thanks to both of them.

"Can be disorganized with aisles messy. Help can be hit and miss. Not a very well run location." -This was my review three years ago. Some things have improved since then , the aisles are not as messy and the inventory accuracy has improved on the website. However, the staff (and Managers) are still not very knowledgeable nor willing to compromise, when it comes to price negotiation and customer satisfaction. I was buying a dishwasher and was easily able to get a lower price at the Southgate Home Depot location whereas this location would NOT entertain any discussion on price (with an arrogant attitude I might add) . I was told that the appliance manager "can not" authorize lower prices. Overall, with my various experiences at this Home Depot, I still think it continues to be not very well run with confusion at management levels.

This is a place I constantly visit and they gave very helpful staff. home depot has a scheme where in if you buy appliances or other expensive stuff using their own credit card, the pay back can be done over a period if 12-18 months interest free instalments. We wanted to take advantage of this and booked appliances here on two occasions. On both these occasions we have been frustrated and underwhelmed at the lack of a proper process to keep customers updated about the delivery or the installation process thereafter. Either a company can hide behind reasons and continue to offer poor services or get behind things and sort it out. In this time and age where options are aplenty telling a customer that ‘you are always welcome to cancel your order’ can only mean one thing that the decline is under way and end is not too far

I went to this Home Depot today and got help from a nice young man in the store. He helped to find the screens that go in the fan hood which is a pain in the neck to find. He measured them out for me. Then he made some keys for the front door of the house. The young man speaks Spanish and we had a nice talk about his job; I was trying to get tips for how younger boy could get a job at this branch. He told me to keep trying with younger boy. Such a nice person. I phoned the manager to tell him that most of the folks in his store are well equipped to deal with the public although I did not mention a lackluster employee in plants who had no interest in showing me stuff the other day. This store is a good place. Not a toxic workplace. Helpful for lost and frazzled customers. You should go there.

We purchased vinyl flooring for our condo unit from this location. We also purchased underlay from them, at the time of the flooring purchase, as it is required for our building. We had a contractor install the flooring/underlay and now the floor is lifting at the joints all over. When we went in to discuss this they informed us that the flooring we used cannot be used with underlay. All they are willing to do is offer us a store credit in the amount we paid for the underlay. All of the flooring needs to be replaced as the joints are peel and stick but they won't take responsibility for supplying incompatible items. We now need to buy new flooring and plan to replace carpets and baseboards but we certainly won't be back to Home Depot ever again.

Excellent customer service. I purchased a large amount of Rockwool products. Naomi and Morgan did an efficient job of bringing the pallets outside to my large cube van parked on the side of the building. I expected them to leave the pallets there for me to load into the truck as I rearranged several items. They offered to help and patiently waited a few minutes for me to get ready. Their coworker Zach saw the task at hand and also jumped in to help. They all worked together great forming a chain passing the bundles along. I was loaded in no time. I was so impressed I went to the nearby Tim Hortons and got a dozen donuts for the staff as recognition for above and beyond service. I will be coming back to this location. Thanks again!

I was at Home Depot # 7268 early this morning, looking for a specific item. I had seen it online, but they do NOT tell you where to find it instore. There were many staff around, but despite my standing right NEXT to two employees, they continued to chat to themselves and ignored me - I went on, and searched the aisles, and eventually found the aisle I wanted - but the item I wanted was not there?? It said they were in stock when I looked online? again, I walked up to the same two employees, but they again ignored me, and so I left the store without a purchase. It was frustrating! and this is not the first time it has happened. I went to Canadian Tire instead.

We ordered a new fridge and dishwasher back in November. We are now passed mid February and have still not received our appliances. Our delivery date kept being pushed. We were finally told that they are in Edmonton but they keep postponing the delivery date again. First it was Wednesday, then today. And now we’re we’re told Best case tomorrow and worst case Wednesday. They seem to think we’re home all day, every day and don’t have jobs to go to and need to book time off ahead of time! This is by far the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. They’re lack or organizational skills shows a complete disregard for their customers.

Looking for anchor bolts for my wall-mount range hood on Sunday morning. No sales people in that aisle. After broadcasting, about ten minutes later, finally a guy from hardware showed up, after I explained what I need, he simply took one and put on my hand, and just about to leave. I want to ask some explanation why that one works because there are many types of anchor there. He did not answer my question and said I have another customer who is waiting. Come on buddy. I am your customer and you have not explained and answered my question. Be professional! Be patient! Of course, most of times Home depot people are nice and helpful.

  • Shawna

I bought some quarter round I didn't end up using. I returned it easily, but after leaving realized the staff member hadn't measured correctly and my refund was a couple dollars short. It wasn't worth my time or gas to return, but upon doing the store survey (and suggesting the returns process involve better communication with customers for these kinds of materials) I was contacted by an assistant manager and the discrepancy was corrected without even needing to go in. Great customer service. That's how businesses should act; take responsibility, apologize, and offer a remedy. I will gladly continue to shop at this location.

  • Emil Yim

If you find this helpful, give it a thumbs up! Customer WiFi: Washrooms: yes Parking: free parking lot The Product(s)/Service: fairly large establishment so lots of selection and lots of stock. Fairly clean store. The People: I needed help getting some drywall and the staff either walked right past me or tried to pawn me of to someone else. Employees can be seen chatting and socializing amongst themselves while customers require assistance. Wasn't even offered if I wanted help loading the drywall into my truck like at other home depots. If you found this helpful, let me know by leaving a thumbs up!

Purchased RYOBI 40V 24-inch Cordless Battery Hedge Trimmer in August 2022. I used them only once, I tried using it again in this Spring and the unit does not work. I used this product all but once, very unreliable. I called Home Depot and told them my situation, they said I could bring it back to the store. I brought it in the store and they said there is nothing they could do for me, Why tell me to bring it in to the store and waste my time if they couldn't help me? Last major purchase i'm making from Home depot. Very disappointing. Service and overall quality of the product is 0.

  • Stefan Berger

I was at the store with my 3 year old daughter, looking through the hardware section and completely engrossed in trying to figure out if a product would work. Through my lack of attention of my surroundings, I found myself in a situation where I needed the help of the staff. Their proficient response was, bar none, beyond what I'd ever seen in a civilian setting and I left the store with my daughter and purchase feeling a great deal of confidence in their ability. I hope this review is shared with the staff, because you guys deserve to know how awesome you are. Thanks again!

  • Happy Hiker

Horrible customer service. I still around for 10 minutes waiting for two guys to finish their conversation. And when I asked where sawhorses were they just pointed and continue their conversation as if I was bothering them. Once I got to the sawhorses nothing was priced. When I went back and approached the gentleman they said you should’ve asked me for prices. Is there anything else I can do for you Mr. Home Depot guy perhaps get you a latte how about a foot massage? Lows here I come! A little bit further drive but they have exceptional customer service in South Common!

  • Brenda K Olsen

We bought 6 blackout cellular window blinds. Approx $700 spent. We needed them trimmed as the size we needed was not a manufactured size. The staff member we had cut 2 of them wrong and those ended up in the garbage. The ends were all very jagged. When hubby asked about that the staff was like oh the end cap covers that! OR you could cut them properly to start with!?! We are home to install them only to discover HE CUT THEM ALL WRONG! Like you have one job. He even brought out his measuring tape to check where he cut?! They were all out. Not impressed at all.

  • Asim A

Great. Was there bright and early to grab a couple things I needed for some simple projects and the manager brought me directly to the items I needed which to be honest is a service I've never experienced with Home Depot. Usually get frustrated not finding what I'm looking for in the massiveness of these stores or if I happen to have found a worker, when asking where I would locate a specific item get told "this isn't my department" Today's service definitely changed my opinion and hopefully can stay that way for future visits.

I rented a trailer when I took it back two Home Depot young men helped me and told me I was good to go .I went in to tell man in rental centre and he told me I had to go back out and rebook the trailer up. He was rude and disrespectful. Then I went in to buy stain and when I went to use it it would not mix and blend when I stirred it. The last incident I bought epoxy it would not harden I mixed it as instructed but it would not harden when I took it back I was refused my money back or store credit. I will never shop there again.

  • Ashley Carr

I've shopped here regularly for years and have had a few really positive experiences. Some of the employees here have really gone above and beyond. Recently I brought an item I bought at another location in for exchange and asked them to check if they had any in stock here. Customer service said they had 21 in stock and sent me to the back of the store twice (alone) and when I couldn't find it, they suggested I just process a return instead of an exchange. So I did. And I bought an alternative at homesense. Your loss home depot!

  • Shil

This is the closest home depot to my place so usually visit here, this time I visited to the garden center to buy some plants. I was expecting more variety but then I think I will try again after few days, although I did buy some vegetables fruits and flower saplings. They do have good stuff for garden decor, so yes, you can try those Also been here to buy supplies for repairing the floor, the staff is very assisting in helping you pick the right products for you needs. PS: when unsure, ask the staff, you'll get best advice

Wanted to give 5 stars to Nivedita for her exceptional customer service skills today for me. And saved me from a very expensive gift card fraud. I did all the precautions but something seemed fishy about the seller (buyer beware). She super quickly went above and beyond her duties and rapidly provided me a new gift card and transferred the funds onto it so I could take my time shopping for the shower renos. Thank you again for your exceptional service skills and saving my money. This gesture goes a long way

  • Taran Chander

Bought a fan on July 16 from this place. You can see from the pictures attached of what I encounter as soon as I take out the fan from the box. This is disgusting!! This is just not acceptable at all! You pay $60 to buy a product thats covered with dust and hair! Obviously I will be going back to return this but wanted to show this to future customers to be aware of this type of issues. This is just unbelievable. I WONDER IF THEY EVEN DID/DO A PROPER SANITIZATION IN THIS COVID SEASON AFTER SEEING THIS!!!

  • Sean Hodgins

Generally a good store, today not as much. Ordered a circuit breaker, received confirmation it was ready for pick up. Did later receive a cancellation but didn’t see in my email. They said they can’t order online and won’t do store to store transfers. So yeah I will have to either drive to another Home Depot or order on Amazon or something. Given their website says it’s online I think I’ll order elsewhere. Biggest reason for the comment is, really you can’t do store to store or do a special order?

  • Kenneth Robertson

We recently went to the Home Depot in Windermere on Currents Road looking for a solution to help us finish a cabinet we are building in our kitchen. We spoke to Shel, explained our situation, and he was extremely helpful in assisting us in finding a solution that has worked incredibly well! Shel's assistance was exceptional, he went the "extra mile" to help us, and the result is outstanding! Thank you Shel, we will definitely be back, and hope that you will be there to help us again!

  • Ann Burr

We had to buy paint for our apartment, and didn’t really know what we needed exactly. The older gentleman in the paint section (I think his name was Barry) was SO knowledgeable, informed us on which paints to buy, and made sure we had all the supplies we needed. He was also just extremely nice and you could tell he was enthusiastic to help us and loved his job. He gave us the kind of excellent customer service that’ll make us go out of our way to this location, give the man a raise.

  • Jonny B

Lots of stuff is cheaper on Amazon, sucks because you try to buy from these shops and businesses, but then it's way cheaper on Amazon, especially things like led light bulbs. It's almost half the price on Amazon. Big products like dishwashers and washers and dryers are priced very well though. I'm aware they price match but it's for that exact product, I don't need a brand-name light bulb for $50. I need a light bulb, plus it's LED the are insanely cheap to make.

  • Zeekee Carden

RUBY has a very excellent customer service. She helped us find what we were looking for and she never left us all alone. She made sure we found the stuff that we are looking for. She works with ethics and she makes sure all the home depot customers are coming back because of her “above and beyond customer service.” We keep going there because of RUBY’s excellent work and job WELL DONE. Kudos for RUBY!!!! She deserves a raise and promotion!

  • Ben D

Everyone at this store except Antonio/Anthony is five stars. Antonio is hostile and will aggressively force you to arguments at the checkout. It's amazing a person of such low caliber is employed here. He embarrasses the other employees who do good work, and the customers who see these interactions are blown away that he conducts himself in such a manner. I hope that the management team can take this feedback and deal with him appropriately

  • Maegan Saunders

Had a wonderful experience with a friendly, helpful employee at Customer Service. I politely pointed out that the entrance’s slight downward slope was no longer visible with the recent snow dump. The snow was still falling so I knew anything would be a temporary fix, but she quickly went out to salt the slope. When I left it was more visible and has better traction. I wish I had gotten her name so I could give her a shout out. Great job!

  • Guneet Singh

I am a few months late, but I was looking for a specific brand of soil that was advertised in their flyer. The staff was unable to locate it, but their inventory showed an ample amount. Staff searched thoroughly, and still could not find it. Dustin and another associate named Mariam i believe found an alternative product and price matched it. They were extremely helpful and very kind. Their generosity and hard work is much appreciated.

This review is only for getting through to the proper department by phone Windermere Home Depot. I was waiting 25 minutes, being pushed to various departments. Even customer service was unhelpful to page the correct sales person. I drove to the store as I live nearby and the person concerned said he was never paged to answer the phone. Please install a system to inform salespeople that a customer who has bought an item is on hold.

I come here daily sometimes 2-3 times. I give this Home Depot and only this Home Depot a 5 star. Because of Nicole on the contractor till. She’s a gem, friendly always fun to talk to. And for someone that works on the till she is the only one I think that knows where everything is in that store. She never fails me. Her customer service is great always a pleasure walking in there at 7am. And getting a warm welcome. Keep it up.

  • Les H.

Spent about 40 minutes there this morning trying to return an order. Firstly, the girl didn’t know how to process and asked me to wait for her manager. Secondly, manager comes and helps someone else first….and doesn’t know how so has to call someone else…..all while I just stand there. Huge store, and no one knows how to do a return ?!? Such a waste of my morning! I ended up leaving after about 40 minutes.

  • Mahdi “Maudy McFly” Miganeh

I really like this store. I met a great guy who works there his name is Stephen. I see him working hard every morning in all temperatures to make it better for customers. It is a delightful thing to witness. Give that man a raise. The mornings I see him working outside I say hello. Be sure to say hello as well. These guys work hard to make sure that you are happy. Great hiring management!

Got to wear good clothes before entering They judge by clothes Today I went in with my work clothes on the representative had a look in there eyes like I was gonna shoplift something never experienced anything like that before and kept on poking me with questions like do I need help are you good within 30min of my shopping time 5 representatives showed up with this kind of questions

  • Michael Nedoshytko

I came here to find landscaping rocks. The location had some but not much to choose from. Thinking that this a home depot in Windermere I was expecting more variety. Otherwise the garden center is good. For landscaping materials, the old Strathcona location is best; I found the marble chips I wanted! Unlikely to come to this location as Windermere is out of my way!

We ordered our Appliances from Home 2X's. Both times they never arrived. When we'd check, they were always in transit . Each time, we had a plumber on site, the condo association had to install the elevator pads We purchased from Trail Appliances on Wednesday and they delivered on Friday. Why couldn't you. We are out of pocket $150. NO thanks to Home Depot

I had to get some paint I bought there retinted. I bought the original paint code for a house I was working on fie a friend. He didn't tell me he'd repainted 3 years ago and didn't know the new color. Edwardo retinted my lighter paint to what he thought it should be and it was perfect. He saved me $60.00, since I didn't have to buy more paint.

I had a small project and required help from the Lumber and Hardware department. The staff were extremely helpful - took the time to ensure I got the right materials and tools. Really impressed with the help! I normally shop here but don't normally need the expertise of the staff - so this was great. Especially for a busy Sunday afternoon!

Had a hard time buying a shed and having it installed. Nobody at 2 stores including managers knew how to order a shed, have it delivered and built which is a service they advertise and charge for. Took over 2 months to finally get everything set up. Other then this one experience everything is usually really good at home depot.

  • Adetoyese Oyedun

Helpful staff at this location of Hoome Depot. The store is usually full, stocked up and well lit. The store is clean and the signage made it easy to easily find what you are looking for in the store. The self checkout is well setup and make it easier to dash in and out of the store... Highly recommend this store.....

  • Mahdi Mahmoudi

We went to store to purchase over the range microwave and and induction range. Try to ask some questions from the sales person on the specs of the appliances, little to no knowledge and in middle he left us to talk to his friend which becomes a 15 min wait, eventually we left but fully disappointed at their service.

  • Pamela Mckean

The employees here were extremely helpful and friendly when helping me select items for my basement development and facilitating deliveries for larger items like the vanity and appliances as I do not have access to a pickup truck. Also, this locations garden centre is by far the best in the Windermere area!

  • Heather P

I'm giving this place a 5 star review! Not only did I not wear a mask, but this lovely worker with red hair helped me find what I needed and I'm so grateful for her and respecting my charter of rights! Thank you for making my shopping experience amazing and unstressed and not feeling like I was suffocating

  • Eric Dostie

Im a Contractor and I love using the app to source out products and get pricing. It's great that they give availability of products and the locations. Be aware that there may be delays it the updating of the amount of products available . But overall love home depot and there competitive prices. …

  • Prashant Reddy

This is definitely one of the nicest Home Depot locations in Edmonton. Staff are very friendly, helpful and respectful towards customers. I had a very pleasant experience throughout the store today all the way from Customer Service (Zinasia), Paint, Lumber and the cashiers. Please keep it up!

  • Dwayne Kelly

This Home Depot is the best Home Depot in Edmonton. I go out of my way to visit this store even thought I have 2 other Home Depots closer. This store always has multiple knowledgeable associates. This week Garry even helped with a problem part and he had spare components from the manufacture.

  • Rory Buchanan

Jason climbed mountains (portable stairs), moved boulders(boxes), to locate the very last Milwaukee impact set I've been eyeing for a while! He was eager to help and had a smile on his face despite what appeared to be another hectic Sunday @ Home Depot. Kudos to you Jason, thanks!

Home Depot is a hardware store probably has the best selection that I have seen in Canada at the moment. I tend to shop here when I'm doing my hardware projects need to buy tools orwhen I need something to fix something around the house. They pretty much have it all

  • Brandon Stuckey

Got help from Ali in Hardware today with a toolbox issue I had. He got everything taken care of quickly. Helped out with loading and just made the whole experience so easy. Every time I have come to this store, all of the staff have been very friendly and helpful.

  • Jen Gorodetsky

I will be reporting this location to OSHA. During business hours, this is the status of the isles in the garden centre. I had to get between these to get 6 cement blocks. The rest of the garden centre is also a complete disaster. A sign of incompetent management.

  • Andrew Tancowny

Justin the assistant store manager would benefit from taking some customers service classes. He demeanour an attitude towards customers was very unsatisfactory. He would not honour the price of the items, even though that’s what they were marked at on the shelf.

  • Bri Neufield

I went there to pick up some paint to redo my kitchen. The gentleman there was so helpful and started talking about renovations and gave me side tips on carpentry. It was great and saved me some time. Great service and went over and above to help out newly weds.

  • Josh Bilyk

A handy place for most of your home projects. I needed to replace my deck and booked a time with Soltan. He was awesome. Walked me through the process, logistics, code and several options. Then took me around to show me the new things to help make it easier.

  • zoe boleski

I went earlier this month to get some supplies to repair the wooden heel on my shoes. Cindy gave me a hand at the self check out when I was struggling and her warmth and smile absolutely made my day! I look forward to shopping at Home Depot again.

  • Tyson Romaniuk

Dont bother trying to get a key cut. I wanted to have a mail key cut and was told there was only 1 person in the store who could cut a mail key and they were on lunch. What is the point of offering key cutting if it cant be done consistently

  • Atlas Service

I had the opportunity of dealing with Grace one of the sectional heads. I had dealt with another associate who was not helpful at all. Grace took in control of the situation and helped me in the matter and got my order delivered to my house

  • John Holland

Was at the store today to pick up a breaker. Checked on Line and it said there was 4 in stock, got there and there was nothing. I asked how this could be as the breakers are kept in a locked cage, they were not sure. I explained that people

I’d leave a lower star if I could. AVOID THIS LOCATION. I went in to rent a jackhammer for my business. I asked if at the time I return it, can I pay for the rental on a debit card separate from where I paid the deposit. The woman helping

We purchased a washer and dryer on December 29, 2021 and paid for it in full. The delivery was promised on January 6, 2022. We should get a call from the delivery company a day before scheduled delivery. We didn't get any call, so I spent

I went yesterday to pick up some supplies for my first ever plumbing project. I walked in a bit nervous and I walked out fully confident because of Dan. Dan was very helpful with making sure I picked up all the pieces I needed while also

  • Sven Schumacher

I needed some paint for touch ups. Very professional and friendly help I received. Made shopping way easier. Ty at paints was very helpful and gave me also some tips. I come regularly to this store and always found help when needed. Even

  • Debbie Davis

Everytime I have gone no one will help you. They will.pretend to be busy and not acknowledge you. I have never been helped had to Google how to use items in the store. I would recommend going to the one on sothside you will get helped

  • Aaron Sealey-Holczer

Is the layout always different, or is that irregular attendance? And if it's regular attendance, why not go somewhere else cheaper? The Home Depot is convenience for the weekend warrior or regular tradesmen. Convenience isn't free

  • Steve

I like this home Depot I go here a lot for my stuff as it's close to home and I like the layout and there's always tons of parking and it's not always so packed. The staff are friendly and most of the time everything is in stock.

  • Debra Pringle

I asked for clear varnish for my kitchen cupboards, they sold me yellowing, have to now resend and start over. Their blunder just cost me over $1000 and a lot of time. Yes, I told them what happened, they did nothing.

  • Chris Logan

Today Dan in the plumbing department helped explain a quick and easy solution to fix my kitchen sink drainage. Best service I’ve ever had at Home Depot! Felt equipped for DYI! All fixed and ready to do Easter dishes!

  • BILL MCCUE

There is not a department there that will pick up their phone and talk to you not all of us have computer stations that we can look things up maybe you guys could be do a little better job of answering your phone

  • Lia Watkin

Omg I received the best service here yesterday!! So impressed from the lighting department and another department! Would 100% shop this location again. Love the experienced workers! They sure know their stuff!

  • Laura McClellan

Daxter and Michael went over and above trying to find a plumbing solution and even though they didn’t have what we were looking for they didn’t give up. Best customer service I’ve had in a Hardware Store ever!

  • Jennifer Bruinsma

I am currently doing major renovations on my house and the store associate, Mariam I believe, went above and beyond to help me find everything that was the perfect fit for me and my new home. Thank you Mariam!

  • Christine Gagne

We come to Home Depot alot and I would highly recommend this location! Super friendly staff and the fact that no one is jumping down your throat like some places, it makes shopping here much more enjoyable!!

  • Sweta Maru

Shoukat and Ehtesham did an amazing job in guiding me to find what exactly I was looking for. They were very patient and answered all my questions. Both of them are definitely an asset to home depot team!

  • Amit Khatkar

Friendly staff but not everyone. Limited stock so might not get what you are looking for. In general Home Depot is expensive. Most of stuff specially electrical you can get cheaper on Amazon or Costco.

  • Sheila Jensen

We were beyond impressed with Jamie the manager who helped us navigate through a water tank warranty, making sure that we had hot water in our home as soon as possible. Thank you again for all you did

  • Michelle Roberts

Always been a great help whether for our projects at home or collaborations in my community of Edgemont! They made a very generous donation for our community garden! Very Grateful …

  • Jason Smith

Went to home depot to return some unused items. The lady was very helpful and understanding, even though I had several items that I did not have a bill for. I wish more big box stores were like this.

  • Scott Antichow

Pretty pathetic that they employ 2 to 4 theft watchers/enforcement at the self checkout. Do you think maybe open a till? Not everyone wants to do a second job they don't get paid for after work.

  • Glenn Elle

Lots of options, really practicing physical distancing and regularly sanitize the frequently touch areas. The line gets longer during weekends. It is a great place for garden and home supplies.

  • Shantha George

Sazhiya was very helpful finding a heavy duty steel shelf & completely a return. Jamie, Michael & Ali were quick to assist to lift & load heavy duty shelf into vehicle. Thank you

  • Eileen Gonzalez

Garden centre deserves five stars because of the customer service. The reason I gave it for Stars is because it can be hard to find stuff inside when you need help.

  • Shawna Hallworth

We have been getting our paint, and lumber at this location. The service has been good and the colours have come out correct. Stock on items also seems to be good.

  • David Veilleux

The pro desk associates are top notch! Handled my concerns promptly and really took the time to understand my needs while also helping others. Kudos to Brayden.

  • jyoti wagawade

I love garden centre and raw materials to make your garden are very attractive and innovative,, those who love gardening should visit garden center …

  • Chad Conlon

Do yourself a favor and don't buy appliances fromt he home depot. Go literally anywhere else. They absolutely awful in this department.
