Stars in proportion to the size of my hangover. Felt like too long standing waiting to order before sitting down and my breakfast tinned tomatoes were cold. But a friendly welcome, great cup of tea and everything else about my early afternoon breakfast was perfect. Best medicine. Great breakfast at a good price.

Had a bacon and mushroom sandwich while passing by. Absolutely perfect, really tasty. Came back on my way back home too. Coffee was good as well. This place is quite busy at peak times and they cope very well with it. Worth a visit if you like English breakfast type dishes, has a wider menu selection too.

The lady that worked here was rude. She was persistent trying to get us to leave a review before we had even ate our food. Asking us to take a photo. We kindly declined and she persisted. She was obnoxiously walking around the cafe with her phone on speaker. Food was poor.

Nice food. Ingredients were all fresh. However I confirmed that the only ingredients in my peri burger would be lettuce onions and tomato. It was served with cheese. When I pay over £5 for a burger, I like to decide what goes inside it and staff to honour my request.

A great café/diner that has a very good selection of food, from English breakfast to omelettes. They even hade a choice of kids favourites. I've been here many times and never had a bad meal. The food is always really well cooked and tasty. Recommended!

it's back to it's best now with new management and whilst the place had problems with food quality with previous management the new people seem to have sorted it out as i had a lovely breakfast there and staff are very friendly . So well worth a visit.

The diner has been taken over by new mmgt and I wouldn't waste your time. I went there and they have no idea how to cook the food even the milkshakes which used to be legendary are now nothing but watered milk. Will not be going there ever

Very happy with our visit. Lots of choices on the menu including home made cottage pie and liver and bacon as well as big breakfast or burgers. Everyone's meal was delivered quickly, piping hot and tasty. Great service from friendly people.

Never returning to this cafe again. Staff are rude and miserable. Had a Luke warm jacket potato and when asked for a new one. The chef said it was boiling when he put his finger in? Who does that. Secondly never argue with a customer. I

Such a shame because this place uses to be buzzing. Great food, brilliant staff and great standards. Someone else took it over and is running the place into the ground. My waitress brought my breakfast over with her finger in my beans.

Oh dear, maybe caught them on a bad day but the cook needs some lessons. They seem to use the precooked method whereby the breakfast appears far too soon because it was cooked yesterday and warmed up. New owners. Sorry won't be back.

Change of management and its noticeable. Prices increased (no issue if the service and quality is there). Chips undercooked and hardly any on the plate. No menu prices. Food was below standard. A real shame as this was excellent

They're advertised as being on Just Eat, but when I placed an order it didn't go through. I tried finding a number to call them on and they were all unusable. Whatever is happening at Hungry Diner seems to be not great.

I work at the SMC Suzuki Next door these guys are our local cafe I order from them every single day . I am never disappointed .they have excellent customer service and know exactly who i am when i walk in there cafe .

We used to go to Hungry Diner twice weekly for a few years but have given up on it now. Owners sold it and staff have moved on, the food quality has declined.
