It's 8 days before Christmas and I really wanted to like this store. I also really wanted to buy some things (likely at premium prices). But this simply cannot be done if the store is closed and locked at 3:00 in the afternoon....and no one answers the door - even though they are actually visibly sitting inside the store...and no one answers the phone either! Is Monocle doing so well that they have no need to actually keep the store opened at the busiest shopping time of the entire year?

Fantastic stuff, great quality products with immaculate attention to detail. Yes you do pay premium, but remember those are often limited edition and pretty unique items. Can’t wait for the coffee shop to be opened inside!

Small store with high quality product and international publication. Limited choice of product, but beautifully selected. Some very nice mens wear, lovely bags, quality stationary: etc. Staff was very friendly

Meh, this place was very busy when I went but I couldn't figure out why. They had very little to see at their advertised Christmas Market. I was in and out in less than 5 mins.

Excellent costumer service and always a great curation of printed material and other products! Love coming by from time to time to browse or pick up gifts

Staff is incredibly helpful and always up for a quick chat. The special lines are phenomenal. Best to snap things up quickly as most items are limited.

If you are a fan of the publication you are going to enjoy this shop. Very friendly staff. If you are looking for back-issues, this is the place.

A wonderful store stocked with Monocle branded items as well as very well curated items. A great place for unique gifts for others and yourself

Very lovely crew working here! Visit to find unique home and clothing peices! On the more pricier side, but you get what you pay for I guess.

Brûlé's empire delivers the perfect little boutique for all things Monocle related. Gorgeous Vitsœ 606 shelving. I wish they served coffee.

This shop has really great books and an awesome concept. I hope we can make it more affordable to travelers and look into opening more!!
