Update: I was very disappointed in the PARC’s response to my suggestion of reviewing their approach to end of life care. While I appreciate that it is different for everyone, it should never be acceptable to prolong a dog’s discomfort after the owner has requested the medication be administered to first ask for payment, especially when there are so many other, more appropriate options. There could and should be a policy to help the vet techs avoid being in that situation, and it was disappointing that the response I received was that they would just counsel the tech to read the situation better. I will not bring my other two boys to the PARC due to this, which is unfortunate because I do think they are generally a great facility. However, they completely miss the mark at one of the most crucial moments for any pet owner. Original post: I am writing this review to ask that The PARC review its policy on end of life care. Last night, we had to bring our dog Tot in for emergency help. He received great care immediately, but the decisions made during our final minutes with our pet were unacceptable for a business that does everything else so well. After waiting for a diagnosis for over an hour (which was fine, but timing is important), and after waiting about 10 minutes after making the difficult decision to say goodbye to Tot, we were placed in a room with Tot to say our goodbyes and have the medications administered. It was obvious to us Tot was anxious and not comfortable, so we notified the doctor we were ready. The next person to come in was the tech who said before we do that, let’s go over some things. She then asked us about what we wanted done with Tot’s body, and then said we should go ahead and take care of the bill. Meanwhile, my dog is still on the table and struggling and we have already expressed we didn’t want him in that state any longer than necessary. She was not being rude, so it is not about her demeanor; it made a very traumatic, emotional moment very transactional and took away from our final moments with Tot. I hope you will reconsider this policy of asking those questions and for payment then. If it needs to before the care is provided, that’s fine, but a better time would be before we are in the room with our pet. There was plenty of time in the ten minutes we waited between making the decision and being taken to the room with Tot.

Okay. First off I came here on Sunday because no one else was avaliable. I had a very sick travel cat who was unable to hold down water and food. Brought him in. Got put in a waiting room for 8 hours with my poor sick cat. Was not given water or a litter box for my sick guy. They ran some blood tests, completely ignored my prognosis that he was probably sick due to a swolen bug bite on his next. 8 hours later the doc comes in, said it's diabetes due to elevated glucose in the blood (ignore all the obvious signs of infection like the low white blood cells and a few other counts) so regardless I had to put him overnight because my poor little guy was dehydrated severely. They wanted to charge me 7200$ for an overnight!!! I ended up paying 4000$ and keeping him in there for 12 hours. This is an insane amount for an iv bag and some bloodwork. So after 8 hours In the waiting room, I got him "admitted" to icu only after some bickering about the price. They treated me like an enemy once I said I wanted a second opinion. 3 hours later I go visit my cat in the icu and his iv had not even been administered yet.........they said they also had basically just put him in a cage for 3 hours....and I had paid about 900$ for him to sit ignored in a cage for 3 hours....wow. just wow. There was a lot more negative I would like to talk about but this review is long enough. Long story short I paid a outrageous amount (almost 3000$) simply to be told they don't know why he was sick, he had some fever come up (obviously not from diabetes Even tho they still wanted that diagnosis because it's a major money maker) basically they are trash. AVOID IF AT ALL POSSIBLE!!! overall very rude and unprofessional as well. Not impressed. My cat died within 12 hours of leaving this clinic. Suspect foul play.

we had taken our beloved cat to the emergency side of the parc and we were immediately seen and the vet took me back and showed me what was going on, loved that absolutely. the tech, Ann Dogget, that was taking care of us was completely rude and insensitive to the whole ordeal and kept calling my boy cat a girl. vet had given us options and we opted for euthanasia because he was such in poor health and she seemed very considerate and helpful for explaining what was wrong with him. immediately Ann stepped in the room saying “so you’re euthanising your kitty?” and was telling us we needed to take care of the bill while me and my husband were crying and clearly upset by the news. even while in the private room about to put down our kitty, she had told us we needed to pay right then while we have our cat in the room waiting for the procedure. she continued to argue with us while we were asking for someone else who was more considerate to help. after she walked out another tech, Missy, had walked in and completely changed the situation. immediately was talking to us about the process and actually answered our questions like they mattered. she even worked with us with the issues we had very quickly. she was amazing and had great bedside manner with the sad situation we were dealt. she was very personable and even made us giggle after the procedure. overall, everyone we spoke to was amazing and caring while Ann was treating our baby as a money maker.

I thought about writing this review all night but the price gouging has gotten out of control. I took my dog in for pain and yes they helped me with that great but then I opened my mouth about how she's had puppies and now leaks quite often and if they had any remedy for that. So of course they said before they could do anything they had to do a urine test and that it would cost $90 to do so I said OK that's fine. Then they came back and said everything was fine but they had to check her blood pressure before they give me the medicine because it can affect her blood pressure. They never told me they were adding another charge for that and who would think wrapping a cuff around her leg and pushing a button on a regular machine would cost. Well now comes time to pay and the cost for the urine test was actually $100 I thought OK not a big deal just another $10 then she told me it was $65 for them to test the blood pressure that took no effort on their part nor special testing. $65 freaking dollars for that which I wasn't told was an extra cost. I'm surprised I wasn't charged extra for checking her temperature. All they said was well we can take the medicine off and you can come back for that later. No the cost of the medicine wasn't the problem the fact you charged me $65 to do a blood pressure check is the problem. Just beware of hidden major cost they won't tell you about till it's too late.

Our beautiful Burmese Siamese Ragdoll mix Nefferkitti has severe asthma which has worsened in the last 6 months. (She will be 9 years old at the end of September). Her behavior with our old vet, a lovely older gentleman, has become increasingly difficult and combative, so we decided to seek a new female vet since Neff does well with the gals. Neffie is a rescue, and is semi feral and struggles with new people. She does best in quiet surroundings, so I was quite apprehensive how she would do with a new vet. Dr. Megan Anderson, her nurse Jackie and the Parc team were just wonderful. Neffi came calmly through the tests, X-rays and sonogram like a champ! Hallelujah! We have a new treatment plan and for the first time in years, I feel optimistic and hopeful that her maturing years can be happy and healthy! Dr. Anderson explained the tests, why we needed to update her tests (it’s been a few years annd pets with her condition can worsen over time) and how the tests would help evaluate Neffi's current health. Our old vet was wonderful and sent over her records, former scans and X-rays and history, so Doc Megan could compare current results, Once the tests were complete and we had the scans and sonogram, Dr. Anderson took the time to explain them and a course of treatment. Love her! Thank you Dr. Anderson, Jackie and the Parc team!

The Parc was the least tactful and most unhelpful vet. Our poor 14.5 year old dog dislocated his hip on Saturday and his health rapidly declined over the next couple of days. Saturday night we put him under medical observation here because he wouldn’t stop crying and we couldn’t get him to eat. The next day when we picked him up he was carried out to us and the vets informed us he was “vocalizing” because he was a “drama king” and that they couldn’t get him to eat. Couldn’t you put an IV on him or at least TRY something? You’re a vet!!! The following night he passed away. How heartless do you have to be to ignore the cries of a dying animal who is placed in your care? He’s an OLD dog who is clearly in a lot of pain!! And the cherry on top was while my family was sobbing and grieving the loss of our dear family member they had the nerve to interrupt to tell us the cost of cremating him. Do not take your pet to this vet. They disregard their symptoms and treat them like a “drama king” when they’re literally dying. What is the point of taking my dog to a vet if you won’t even try to save him?

I was very impressed with my overall visit, the staff, facility, and Dr. Anderson. This was an annual well dog visit for vacs and check up. I did feel Dr. Anderson should have introduced herself to me since it was my first visit to the clinic (on my daughter's recommendation - who has 6 dogs now planned to be treated by Dr. Anderson). Never assume the client can tell Vet Techs from the Doctors without an introduction. I also would have appreciated an estimate of charges before my $500 visit amount was assumed to be fine. Fees were not discussed in advance, options for services like senior blood work were not discussed (which the Vet Tech said would be with the Doctor). I know it's all a lot to cover. But, if you want payment for services, they should be discussed in advance, along with options for less or more in treatment. I most appreciated the attitude and care given to my pet by everyone in the clinic. Regardless of my critique in some ways, I will still recommend them to others in the future!

My first experience at The Parc it was unfortunately an emergency visit. When I called over the phone, the ladies were extremely nice and sounded concerned with my furbaby issues. Once I got to The Parc I was highly impressed with the layout of the office, which, even the waiting room looks like a dog park. The vet technician/nurse was great at taking notes with everything that I had to say that was going on with my furbaby. She also asked great questions to make sure she had all the correct information for the doctor. The doctor was fabulous. He showed a lot of concern and answered all of my questions that I had. My furbaby ended up having to stay the night and had to have an ultrasound an x-ray done the next day. The ultrasound and x-rays were done by a different doctor who was just as great and asking questions and informing me of everything that she found. My family is now a furever client of The Parc!

We've been going here for years and have dealt with the ever increasing prices. Every visit there are price increases and new charges added unknowingly until you check out. We have a large 10 year old dog who has never been ill and the moment I call to bring him in when he is not feeling well they refused to accommodate with out paying an outrageous "emergency" fee. Called CityVet who immediately accommodated and have a top notch team including the vet, assistants, AND front desk (highly recommend this place). The reception at the Parc needs serious customer service training. The groomer at the Parc also has a solid 3 month waiting list, overcharges, and takes all day to groom our dog who is so stressed out by the end of the ordeal that the vet wanted to sedate him next time. CityVet got him perfectly groomed in/out in 3 hours. Sigh of relief to not have to patronize the Parc any longer!

I took my sick cat into The PARC earlier this week- I’d had a bad experience with another ER vet in the area and was feeling discouraged and very worried. Ms. Gomez and Dr. Reigle addressed my (many) questions, treated my cat with the upmost care and concern, and explained all the options and possibilities in great detail. My cat ended up needing to stay in the hospital for a night and I felt totally comfortable leaving him, knowing that he’d receive top notch care. While he was there, the vets caring for him called me and were knowledgeable and helpful. I was hesitant to take my cat to The PARC because I was concerned about the cost, but given their thoroughness and attentiveness, I think it’s the best option for a sick pet. Thank you Ms. Gomez, Dr. Reigle, and everyone else who helped my cat!

Our dog took a turn for the worse, on a Saturday evening of course…but we didn’t want him to suffer. We called prior and they quoted us $350…to put down our family dog of 14 years. I had to swallow that pill with the money and took him in because I wanted my poor dog at peace. We get there, waited an hour (which they said no wait on the phone) with my dog bleeding from his stomach, and they then told us $500! They said $350 if we wanted to bring the body back with us (with my 5 children at home and we live in the city…)- this wasn’t an option. It was hard enough to drive him to the vet knowing what I had to do. But then to have them charge that much. This place is worse than money sucking lawyers and crooked mechanics. These vets should be ashamed.

We had the unfortunate task of rushing our 12 year old lab here on Sunday. She is home now with bacterial pneumonia and has been diabetic for 4½ years. The staff were all very friendly, professional, and caring. The doctor came in multiple times and asked different questions about what happened and answered all our questions. They were very busy but did not rush to get to the next patient. This facility is set up as triage and treat more critical patients first. The benches in the waiting area are not very comfortable. There is plenty of space and it is very nice and clean. We hope to not need their services again but will return if we do. I highly recommend this facility for your beloved pets.

  • Jayme Speer

Everyone was courteous. Dr smith had a great sense of humor, despite what was going on. No one wants to know their pet has to have surgery- and have to make a decision on the fly. I appreciated a photo from Elizabeth- she was the overnight nurse < br />Our discharge nurse was informative and we even got teary talking about our old dogs that we've lost. Thank you for what you do. In this day- most of what you hear is the negative. Sometimes it's just good to hear the great. < br />Frisco is asleep after a light snack of dog food pâté & trazadone. Whilst wearing my tank top to protect his incision. Thanks for saving his belly from that damn tennis ball.

I cannot say enough good things about this place. Of course due to it being an ER hospital, some things are going to be more expensive compared to going to a regular vet. I’ve come here on two different occasions late in the night, and the staff were so nice and listened to all of mine and my fur babies concerns. The flat visit fee is $147 and then from there they will discuss what you can afford to get done and what the recommend. The staff and the vets are always so professional and put everything they have into making sure the pets are taken care of. I could not imagine going anywhere else, especially in a scary or emergency situation.

  • Kate Marshall

We had a good experience! Had to walk-in on a Sunday afternoon with our Max, so we did have to wait quite some time, but understandable given the circumstances. Male veterinarian (didn't catch his name) was super kind and listened to us. The tech was also great. We just moved to a new house and Max has a history of UTI's when under stress. He was also blocked 4 months ago, so we wanted to get him meds ASAP to help avoid that again. His bladder was too small to get a sample, but they were o.k. with giving him some medication considering his prior track record. This ER is recommended by our regular vet clinic that is only open on weekdays.

Dr. Henderson and staff were so great to work with. My dog had a mass in his mouth and I came in to get a biopsy of it. The check in process was quick and easy and I was placed in a room within a few minutes. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Dr. Henderson helped explain what he was doing and when we could expect test results. He treated my dog as if he was his own. I drove almost an hour to come here because of the reputation I had heard of at The PARC and it was worth the drive. I will be back to see Dr. Henderson again next time I need something. I also greatly appreciated the cleanliness of the facilities.

I brought my little Yorkie mix in last weekend after she was attacked by another dog. We called on the way, and the staff was ready and waiting when we arrived. They immediately put my boyfriend and me at ease about her condition. They were super thorough and gave us frequent updates throughout the night. I even called several times in between the updates because I was so nervous, and they were extremely kind and answered all of my questions. My dog is doing so much better now. I’m so glad I brought her to the Parc, and I’m extremely grateful for the staff who cared for her.

I am a brand new neonatal kitten mama. I had some concerns with what I was seeing from my kitten. It didn't appear normal. I found this place online. My experience was very pleasant and comfortable! The staff were all polite, educated, took their time and addressed all my concerns. There was no judgment. They didn't down play my concerns or what they saw from her. They didn't under or over diagnose. I felt they were honest. I would recommend this place and would come back. From the reviews I have read people have also had good experiences. Which is assuring.

  • Blondie Lee

The staff was helpful, kind, compassionate, and professional from the time I stepped in the door. I was impressed with the compassion and care the vet showed to my dog. He got down on the floor with her to examine her. I know he was extremely busy, but he took the time to stop and focus on my emergency visit like I was the only one in the office. He was quiet, professional, and calm. Despite the time it took to get my dog taken care of, I was thankful to know there is a good 24-hour clinic where I feel safe leaving my dog that we have access to.

  • Gerald Johnson

Everything started clearing up after the first night. I am so happy that I decided to come in and get him checked out because Franklin seems so much happier and isn't scratching all the time. I was so pleased with how friendly everyone was with Franklin. Most people see a big Pitbull and treat them differently and every staff member wanted to come say hi and they all seemed to love him. It made me extremely happy because I am huge on wanting to give a better name for the breed and you can tell The PARC has the same mindset

  • Mimi Sandoval

We just moved to the area (actually moving things to our house yesterday) when our dog got a deep laceration to his paw. Thank you for taking great care of him, it's a lot going on for overnight clients coming in, and one vet on duty, but Dr. Joyner so wonderful and the staff were all so kind. It's comforting to know we have a facility like this should anything happen to our dogs and taking special care when we worried what to do for emergency. We've never taken a pet before. The vet and staff were great

  • Hannah Walker

I had a short notice to get my cat anxiety medication for our flight across the country. I was able to get in within a day of requesting an appointment (even as a new patient!). Everyone was so kind, and I could tell they really care about my pet's wellbeing. The facility was extraordinarily clean, modern, and welcoming. They were so patient with my cat, and reviewed her health thoroughly. We were even able to walk about with her new medicine in hand! I cannot recommend enough!

  • Bailey Powell Aldrich

ER visit for our dog - Really friendly staff that was apologetic about not being faster since they were in the middle of the shift change. That's no one's fault, but it was nice of them to acknowledge the slight delay. I do wish they'd carry the soft cones or "intertubes," as the hard plastic cones aren't sustainable for a pet moving comfortably around the house, in/out of the car, etc. Overall impressed and grateful for how friendly and approachable the staff is.

  • Christopher Garcia

I really appreciate everything you all did to take care of our boy. Everything seemed to be well organized, thought through, and very competent. Everyone I interacted with at the PARC was delightful and very responsive in terms of keeping us up to date on his recovery. You treated him like a he was your own. Clearly, the staff loves animals and treats them accordingly. He arrived in bad shape and he came home in one piece. From the bottom of my heart, thank you!

  • evans2811

This was our first visit to The Parc and we were most impressed. We were seen promptly on a Friday evening, when our primary and specialist vets' offices were closed. We were made to feel very welcome. Every single person who helped us was professional, friendly, and efficient. The premises are pleasant looking and clean. Our dog was given excellent care. The prompt emergency treatment for our dog was greatly appreciated. Highly recommend The Parc. Thank you!

  • Lisa Kuhlman

I have been going to this Vet hospital for several years. I have never had a bad experience. Every single Dr I have had the pleasure to work with has been absolutely amazing. Every phone call is handled with courtesy and professionalism. The vet techs are knowledgeable and take thorough history's when you come in. Most of all, they are open 24 hours a day. Emergency visits are easy to get and they take exceptional care of my fur family.

  • Carolyn Mayhorn

My dog Coco got really sick and The Parc Vet was awesome. I would like to give a special shout out to Dr. Hayden, Alisa Johnston and Toni Jefferson. Professional, nice and caring. Toni was working on the animals, helping the front desk when it got busy with customers and answering the phone. I admire a multitasker. Even though a little pricey, Coco and I have found a new health care facility.

  • Lisa cruz-shelley

Not your typical vet office. Highly designed with bold colors and graphic patterns. Not a single usual vet poster in sight. Just very modern. Although the majority of my time was spent waiting, that's what you'll find in any after hours emergency vet office. Everyone was very kind. They followed up the next day to see how my kitty was doing. I would recommend this place.

  • Robert Clever

Didnt have a vet that felt comfortable working with Cats that evening. Waited with my cat who had just barely survived a four story fall for over 6 hours to get a room, where we overheard "is anybody going to go look at the cat" after another hour. Just tell people you don't have anyone that is comfortable working on cats before robbing them of 6 hours and $1800.

  • Victoria Harris

I've brought my elderly dogs here for years and they are always in excellent care. We mostly have appointments or medications to pick up, but we have also used Parc for emergency vet visits, surgery and boarding. I really like how your dog stays with you until they need a test and then you can see the test being performed from your glass clinic room.

  • Abi Calzada

I appreciated the time the tech and doctor took with my kitty. Prices were explained before each treatment was done. The care and love shown to my pet by staff made the whole experience worthwhile. They even sent some extra medicine for her next time she has a flare-up. Place was clean and professional. Thank you for caring for my sweet angel!

  • Lauren Williams

Our Weimaraner got into a bag of dog food, and I had a bad feeling about what was happening before the effects really set in.. Thank you for getting us in quickly and taking action, even though our dog was not yet exhibiting dyer signs of bloat. It made all the difference! Dr. Henderson was very knowledgeable, kind and informative.

  • Stella Ramos

My experience was overall very good. I almost lost my little Sadie after she swallowed a chicken bone. Staff was very kind, great communication through out the whole process. I watched them with her through a window. They were gentle and attentive to her all the time. Definitely recommend them for your pets needs!

  • Teresa

The most uncomfortable seating ever! I understand the really long wait for emergency services - around 2.5 hours - but they need to invest in better seating. The vet tech Kaitlyn M. is a most caring, professional, knowledgeable person! Not sure what vet we saw because she was in and out in less than 5 minutes.

  • Chelsea Schmidt

Facility was extremely comfortable for both ourselves and pet. Clean, friendly, relaxed, and we felt very taken care of. We were impressed by how quickly we were able to be seen and how accommodating and friendly staff was. We truly felt that we did the best by our beloved pet by bringing him to The Parc.

  • Haley Stephenson

We love it here. They take great care of our pets. We have a german shepard that gets boarded once in a blue moon, and my husband adores the updates and pictures he gets of his furry friend. They are cost friendly, at least from our experience. Thank you for caring for our four legged family members.

  • Tom Cruz

Kept our dog in the facility, she was able to get up to date on all her shots and stay there for a few days. Front desk personnel are super friendly and helpful. Highly recommend for any pet needs or boarding. Price is good for the quality of care plus for the options in the area or long term care.

  • Carol Popp

Brought my cat in for an emergency visit and received wonderful service and treatment at The PARC. It is always stressful when a pet is sick but seeing the great care he received helped to reduce that stress. Loved how well everything was explained and the amount of time they spent with me.

  • Sarah Salazar

The quality of care, professionalism from the staff, everything is above and beyond anything I’ve experienced and exceeded my expectations by miles. I’ve been to many great vets/emergency vets in the area but this one I will establish my fur babies with for appointments and emergencies.

  • Julie Jordan-Wade

Very caring staff, super nice facility. Very upfront about pricing and respectful of tight budgets. Very helpful in caring for our sweet dog, Liberty, who was much sicker than we realized & had to be euthanized. Grateful for a caring staff who helped us through a very emotional ordeal!

  • Nicole Pearce

My puppy had a red eye and was pretty miserable. I wasn't able to get seen by my previous Vet, so I made an appointment at the Parc. Everyone was so welcoming and helpful. They made my puppy feel right at home and didn't make me feel overwhelmed. I really loved how nice everyone was

  • Leslie Reddell

Great Visit - Beautiful Clinic - thank you for seeing my kitty girl! I appreciate the Comprehensive Compassionate Care and the full Spectrum of care. I like knowing that after hours and emergency care is available and I am tied into the system as my girl is now an advanced age pet.

  • Kaitlyn O'Connell

Everyone was very nice and helpful in a scary situation. We went right back and didn't have to wait to be seen by the vet. We had originally went to a different emergency vet closer to home but was told it would be a 3 hour wait. Everyone was friendly and helped me be at easy.

  • Makenna Courtney

My dog has had an unknown origin fever for almost a week now. Was recommended to go to PARC instead of the other ER clinic we were going to and I’m so pleased I did! Their communication is so good & they are actually wanting to get to the bottom of what’s causing this fever!

  • Boswell Band Fund

This place claims to be emergency 24 hour pet care. We were told there was a 4 hr wait. After 2 hr and no one even looking at our cat we left. We then went to VEG in Alliance. We were met at the door, taken to triage, and never had less than 2 techs with us the entire time.

  • Kim Hancock

Norman approved!! I can’t tell you how much I love this place. They really take the time to make you and your pet feel like part of the family. They even drew a picture of Norman on the bag of medications he needed. Thanks for everything ❤️

  • Beth Arthur

Extremely happy and grateful for everything that EVERYONE did for our Tango!! Our new place for all vet. needs for both of our 4 legged babies. The extreme concern for Tango needs and the care he received during his hospitalization.

  • Margaret Morris

Excellent vet service, kind and patient veterinarian and staff. Really made me feel like they cared about my animals. The vet techs and veterinarian took time to explain things clearly and made me feel at ease with their demeanor.

  • Kristin Feng

The staff at The PARC was so friendly and helpful. They were wonderful to work with, especially during such a tough time. It's obvious how much the staff cares for the animals, and I felt safe keeping them in their care.

Great staff & they took care of my doggo fast with how busy they were. Also they did a fantastic job handling me freaking out over my sick dog. Thank you & I highly recommend. Just a bit more expensive then other vets.
