As a vegan, I was impressed to be able to get a pastry here !"
"Not a complaint, more an advice, and yep i'm in a position where i can give advices as i'm a head chef :)) Bought a giant pasty this morning, and was expecting something else"
"I was shocked to see the sausages and bacon on the same tray as the eggs, as someone who does not eat meat I was put of by this immediately, please can you separate the eggs so we can enjoy a egg breakfast bap and not worry it had been cross contaminated with meat"
I paid for two coffees by card which was fine, but then went back for another and paid by cash. Upon this the member of staff gave me the wrong change. I said excuse me and explained. She snatched the £5 off me and gave me a £10 note. I explained that was still wrong as I gave her a £20 note. She started laughing as if something was really funny with another girl. I said to my sister what's so funny and then the attitude of the staff was disgusting. I was shouted at accused of being racist. I have never been spoken to like that and I work with the public and it is no way to speak to people. It was Saturday 2nd December, if that's how they treat customers they are in the wrong job.

A very poor customer experience. I wanted to purchase dinner after travelling for 4 hours, so I diligently waited in the queue with 15 minutes to spare before by train. After waiting I was informed that the till system was broken, and there was nothing that they could do for the rest of the evening… Yet a minute later I saw the customer in front of me leave with a meal! You could have done better Pasty Shop; if I had been told straight away, then I would have had time to buy elsewhere rather than miss dinner. Alternatively, you were closing imminently - what not offer me something free, which would have presumably been going in the bin within a few minutes?
Really quick service by Leoni, perfect snack for my train :))

Not a complaint, more an advice, and yep i'm in a position where i can give advices as i'm a head chef :)) Bought a giant pasty this morning, and was expecting something else. The taste of the actual pastry it's alright, but the meat mix inside can do with a lot more flavour. I'd suggest get someone to taste the mix constantly and maybe add some stock to it as for now it's just a bland mix with some veg through it. Apart from that, the shop looks great, good size for the price , great customer service
I was shocked to see the sausages and bacon on the same tray as the eggs, as someone who does not eat meat I was put of by this immediately, please can you separate the eggs so we can enjoy a egg breakfast bap and not worry it had been cross contaminated with meat. The staff member wasn’t helpful and told me to complain

Vegan Sausage Roll
Going with 3 stars simply because for the high prices (£8.49 for 1 large sausage and 1 vegan sausage roll) you'd expect the quality to be bang on. Sadly my sausage roll was quite hard, tasted alright but not worth the cost hence the 3 stars, I wouldn't go again simply based on the prices but they do clearly display them, vegan sausage roll was excellent though.
Nice little taste of Cornwall I got in here. The pastys in here are really nice, but be warned are expensive compared to other bakeries etc. Remember it is a train station though. I'd recommend skipping the side of chips as usually dry but the pasty was nice. Also a good spot to suit and get some work done on your laptop as good seating and quiet usually.
Twice now I've attempted to buy a black American and twice (because they're so busy chatting amongst themselves) now I have had milk put in it. Be OK if I didn't have a lactose allergy! Fortunately I always check, but many people don't. This needs to be addressed as people buying here are normally train travellers!
I bought a sausage roll from here it was all burnt at the bottom i complained to the lady in the shop and she wouldn’t give Me a new one baring in mind it wasn’t cheap I could of gone to greggs round the corner and got one for half the price she just give me a bit of paper and said to complain online.
I was served by 2 lovely ladies, Chelsie and Moeesha (Sorry if I spelt your names wrong). Great customer service, just so friendly and polite. Great sense of humour on the pair of them. Would definitely recommend this specific branch to anyone, especially if all the staff are as good as these 2.
Outrageous price bought a large chicken and mushroom pasty for £ 6.95 it was all stodgy pastry and hardly any filling. 1 small piece of chicken in tthe whole pasty and 3 pieces of mushrooms the rest was congealed white sauce. Not pleasant at all. Will never buy from there again.
Not the best of pasties. Luke warm and not as much flavour as I had expected. Potato was overcooked with poor texture. My standards based on West Cornwall Pasties found on other rail stations.

I love the vegan sausage rolls here... Never thought I would ever say that but here we are. The staff member Leoni is so kind and easy to talk to. Fully Recommended If you're in New Street station and in a rush to get food for your journey.
Over 5 quid for a small pasty and £2.40 for a bottle of Coke. Daylight robbery, extortion even. Disgraceful, how can you treat people with that level of disrespect as to have the cheek to ask that kind of money. Why do we put up with this?
Needed a Coffee and hate the usual brands. This is gorgeous . Flat white strong chocolatey Coffee. Really good.

This is the second time I've been to the pasty shop. Staff always very friendly, especially Moe, nice to see someone happy in their job. Keep up the good work Moe. Very impressed vegans are catered for. Totally recommend.
Really friendly and quick customer service. Prices are a bit on the steep side, but pasty’s and sausage rolls are decent quality and bigger than most places. Good choice for something quick before your train.
No traditional pasties, an extremely underwhelming level of customer service and an outrageous price for what turns out to be a very greasy, sunken pasty. £5.30 for a pasty. First and last time here, ever.
I bought a large traditional pasty, hot, tasty root vegetables, but where is the meat....??? In my opinion, this is outrageous, especially for the price. Definitely will not be going back.
Mo is an outstanding person, she Has a welcome smile at all times When ever you enter the shop or Even outside of the shop, she delivers an excellent service, so am Giving Mo a five .
Had to press a star to be able to post my review. Well sorry but undeserving of even one star. The three cheese pasty had no taste, bland, pastry dry and omg soooo expensive go to Greg's.
Are a breakfast sandwich today. Leoni is a regular in the morning, she is always so bright, cheery and helpful. The sandwiches are good, but this person truly alleviates the entire shop!
I was serve at 6.57pm and the service was great didn't get the name of the server though, however a very nice 2nd time experience if your passing through new street go there! …
Good place to grab a bite for lunch to take on the train and they have a few seats to eat in if you wanted. Pasties are nice but temperature varies depending when they were cooked.
Very good but you need to supply your staff with the correct utensils for the job. They need a scoop for the potato wedges. All the lady had was tongs. Also no tomato sauce
Good choice of pasties Overly priced £6.15 for a regular size is far too much The pasty itself was ok although it lacked flavour Would I go again?…. Only if I was desperate
Pricing wrong on the drinks and the assistant was like... 'yea, I know' after I said it was wrong. No apology or even attempt to correct error. Great service …
Amazing customer service from the staff. Especially a young man named sam who was very patient and polite. Overall all staff were amazing.will definitely be returning.
The bacon and sausage sandwich lacked butter, the tomato sauce is cheap inferior rubbish and the sausage was disappointing given their and the price I expected better
I was served by Olivia, and her service was exceptional. She was very kind and polite as well as being informative. Would definitely go back again after that service
Pleasant staff. My ' vegan' sausage roll was dry hard and tasteless...seemed to have been there for days. I'm going to request a refund. £3.99 is outrageous.
I only had 3 minutes left to catch the train and she did my coffee so fast,as I told her.I am impressed with speed of her service. And very delicious coffee
Great experience. Store was well stocked and clean. Olivia served me with speed, efficiency & politeness. Couldn’t have asked for anything more really.
Liv and Hum we’re amazing, helpfull and informative about what pasties were on offer, great personalities and bubbly people all around, 10/10!
Was served by humayra. She was extremely welcoming and nice. Would definitely return just for her exceptional and friendly customer service.
Bino was engaging, bright, funny and lifted my spirits after a long day at work and before a longer commute home. A credit to your business
Great service and delicious warm food as we wait between trains. Thanks so much to Vineet and the staff at Birmingham New Street Station!!
Good, well laid out, clean and above all a friendly face for a weary disabled traveler The young lady Hum is an asset to your corporation
It was a great experience with buying pasty at this store as the sales girl was calm & sweet to me even when i had problem with my card.
Good variety of pasties. Ticket holder only location inside the station. Glad I had a ticket It’s very neat and tidy inside. …
I was eating the vegan pasty on the train to munch into a bloody stone. How on Earth did a stone get into my pasty. I feel sick.
I was served by Emma who is always soo helpful and kind will definitely be visiting again! Great customer service provided too!
Lovely little shop, the customer service you receive their especially from Olivia is some of the best I’ve ever experienced
Terrible tasting food! Overpriced! There's a greggs in the station, I would advise to just buy your pastry from there
Had a great service from two servers in the new street store, Hum and Liv were helpful and gave good service. Cheers
Friendly staff, but not sure £8 for two vegan rolls is value for money. A total outrage and unjustifiable.
Pasty (steak) was thick pastry with dry questionable meat. Threw most away, wasted nearly £6. Never again
I was served by Emma. She was really helpful and kind. I had the breakfast roll and it was delicious.
Worst cappuccino I had in years. Bitter beyond belief. 2 pound frickin 90 for an egg cups worth too.
Rubbish. I bought chicken bbq pasty cost 5£ and it was full of onion and hardly any trace of chicken
£3.59 for a small bap and a single small cheap sausage is not OK. A disgrace of utter proportions.
Vaneet (Birmingham New Street) offered great service & v patient when I couldn't make up my mind
The food here is delicious! Always warm, friendly and fast service from Vineet and colleagues.
I've ordered an macchiato coffee and it was better then other big coffee companies, well done
Great food, and greater service. (Hum, you represented the company very professionally!)
The Cornish pasty was delicious! And nice and hot. Danielle was friendly and helpful.
Nice little pasty shop, nice food and drinks. Good service and good pasty options.

Not the best pasty I've had in Birmingham, but ok by my standards.
