I would give a negative star If I could. Food was great, bar tenders awesome, environment great as well, Kaitlin our server was cold and rude from the start. Never got our salad until after our food and we were ready to go then when we mentioned not getting our food she refused to take it off the bill, then when I told her just keep the salad we will pay for it but we have a long drive ahead of us she brought me the salad boxed up and made me take it. She then added extra things to our bill, and also added a very large tip for herself that was the same price as my bill. Complained about having to split the bill as we were with our family and had separate orders. I would highly recommend this restaurant Jess avoiding her at all costs if possible.

Saw a show here. The drinks were really good. The show sounded good so the sound person did a good job. The atmosphere was really cool! I had veggie tacos they used a veggie patty in them, which was not very good. I think it would’ve been better with tofu crumbles or even beans. Overall it was a very fun time.

I visited this place while visiting town. Awesome bar with live music. I really like the theme and how dark it is. Nice place to have a few beers with music in the background. Food is okay I guess. My burger was good and fresh and the fried calamari not so much, it didn’t have a flavor and the sauce that came with it wasn’t very tasty. I have to say the bartender was super nice. Check out her crystal business. I got two of her beautiful crystal skulls.

I gave one star for the good live music. Other than that, this the worst place to go. Firstly, they were rude. I know there were just two bartenders, but that doesn't mean they can shout at us. Secondly, they charged me double. I was a little drunk and they took their chance of charging me twice. Thirdly, their food was not that good for the price we paid. Dry fries and below-okay wings. Drinks were okay. Save your time and money and don't go there if you wanted to have a good time.

Staff was very nice. Bar Tender was not the best at socializing but the food runner did a great job by remaking the salad for us. He was extremely nice. Drinks were a bit expensive and the tequila options were not the best. The Food was very delicious! The lady enjoyed the pasta and I enjoyed the blacked chicken salad. I suggest a happy hour so more people can come and get drunk and buy food.

They always have live bands playing. This alone is a must visit to check out the local talent. The music genre is always different. You could get cumbias one night and rock on another, but that makes it even more awesome! Drinks are inexpensive and strong, and for it being a dive bar, the food is actually quite good. I always have a blast when I've come here and so have the people I've invited.

Enjoyed eating my Redwood burger and fries. Also enjoyed the friendly conversation about music. But the bathroom was too dimly lit for my taste. Next time I visit I want to have a live band. Live music always enhances experiences.

My band was at The Redwood Bar & Grill for "International Pop Overthrow". I really liked the cozy, fun atmosphere and the Redwood's menu was a cut above the usual. All around, I've gotta give 'em 5-stars. They're a fun night in Downtown LA.

Stumbled upon the bar for a surf rock show and had a few brewskies. It's cost effective with a $20 drink minimum on the weekends. Good fish & chips.

Perfect dive bar with a diverse line up of bands. Looks like a haunted Red Lobster. Highly original. Great kitchen too.
