I came across this company on a local facebook group as a recommendation. I have made an online enquiry around 3am, and by 8:30 am I had a call from Gary, who was on site the same morning to inspect our leak. (We were still in our Pj's... :) ) This same day we got a prompt quote and explanation what would need to happen, at what cost, and Gary even took the time to explain what is causing the problem. By the next day his amazing team (David and Hassan) were on site doing the work. They did a beautiful and thorough job, were pleasant company when I made them a cuppa, and they left everything neat and tidy after themselves! Gary made sure to check in after to see what we thought, and we received an invoice and payment was made! Easy and straightforward process really.. After a number of roofing companies that we got quotes from, Gary's team was the most professional, and they went over and beyond to fix our leak even though there were some waste pipes in the way and the weather was freezing.. We recently used the services of The Roofing Company. We changed the flat roof on our recently built kitchen extension which was poorly done by the previous roofer as the flat roof was leaking. We also carried out repairs to the front roof. We found the company's details online . Gary responded to our call and came on site to inspect the roof on the same day. We had a good chat and had a lot of questions and we have found Gary to be very helpful, honest, skillful and proficient. Gary provided us a competitive quote on the same day. Gary was absolutely brilliant. We first contacted him to come round to our house for an inspection to remove a downpipe and realign the guttering around the side of the house. He came around as promised, on time and promptly and was able to give us advice on what would need to be done and pricing. His communication was fantastic via email, phone and text message. He was almost immediate in his response to us and was able to book us in quickly fitting around our other commitments. On the day of the work he arrived once again on time and explained who would be doing the work and did a handover to Jamie and George who carried out the work. They were professional, friendly and efficient, completing the work with a thorough explanation of what had been done, leaving the area outside the house nice and tidy. Gary is a very friendly guy. He advised us on the best course of action and took pictures and pointed out exactly what the problems were that were causing our leaky roof, as well as additional problems due to wear and cracking. He didn't need to do that, but he did. He organised and had a team replace our entire roof in 6 days flat, that's including scaffolding and materials being put up and taken down. He had another team replace an ugly grey plastic (and leaky) flat roof, with a wonderful new skylight, seal it all up and clean up in only another two days. All the guys were super friendly. I had a chat and a laugh with all of them. Especially Matt and Tony who did the flat roof. Matt did a thorough water test on the new roof to ensure the work was solid. Gary has been very understanding of our complicated situation, and we are lucky to have him in charge of the job. Would recommend him and his team 100%. Gary was also very patient and professional when conversing with my mother, who isn't the best communicator or easy to deal with. Top notch guy!

The Roofing Company replaced the facias and guttering at the back and front of my house, and checked my roof with a view to carrying out remedial work as necessary. Gary, and his team Scott, and Stewart were friendly, polite, and professional at all times. They also addressed additional things that I noticed needed doing, like resecuring a downpipe, securing a slipped tile on the roof of the bay window, and taking next door’s aerial lead off of my roof while they were up there. Gary also assisted in discussions on separating the shared guttering with the neighbouring property. The scaffolders used by The Roofing Company were equally polite and professional. Jake and his team from JAB Scaffolding Ltd, quickly erected and dismantled the scaffolding on time and without fuss. Allowing for the onset of particularly bad weather, the work was carried out quickly, and at a good price. I would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to carry out roof work to their property.

Gary gave a very good, fair quote prior to starting the project, the quote never changed. There were no hidden extras, that I was later charged for. I wasn't asked to pay for any thing upfront or during the project until the project had been completed & I was happy. This provided instant piece of mind. The Roofers: They were all great, professional, on time & daily turned up to do a brilliant job. In particular was George. George is a true grafter, I never saw him stop even when it was raining. He appeared determined to make sure that my roof(s) were repaired to a professional standard, leak proof & safe. Thanks George. Finlock (concrete gutters ) which needed to be relined. I approached a few companies on check-a-trader but they either did not get back to me or said the job was too difficult. Called the Roofing Company and had a prompt response. Gary was obviously familiar with what needed to be done as it is an Enfield based company n they have done this type of work often. Reasonable price , rapid response , friendly , polite workmen. Scaffolding organised from a firm that was super efficient.Job done within a day. Looking at the work done it seems good although I am no expert. 15 year guarantee so assume the company must be confident with the quality of their work. So far very happy. I know our roof will need doing soon and as it stands this company will be my first choice - so many horror stories of cowboys I will feel relieved if there is a firm I can go to with confidence

I used Gary and the Roofing Company to do some repairs to the roof of my lean-to, which was leaking, replace some of the guttering and remove an annoying satellite dish. It's tough finding people to do work at the moment but Gary was swift - he came over straight away to do an assessment, gave a quote and did the work just over a week later. He was knowledgeable and good at communicating what needed doing and why. It was great he could do it so quickly. He has a big team working for him and the whole job was done in one day. My job required scaffolding but that was no problem. Gary was really good at communicating who would be coming and when and responded very quickly to any queries. After they had left I noticed a stray cable and Gary sent someone round to remove it within half an hour. Very happy with the work.

Called The Roofing Co. Enfield about my leaking chimney, Gary arrived first thing the next day and did an inspection and put my mind at rest. He explained clearly what he thought needed doing and made some suggestions to reduce future maintenance. Sent over a quote the same day and answered some further questions. The work was done the next week, very efficient, workers were cheerful, polite and very tidy, worked quickly and cleared up after themselves. They took pictures of the condition of the roof, problems they'd detected and the work they'd done and Gary explained what they were doing as they went along. All with the minimum of fuss. Was so grateful to have these repairs done quickly. Chimney stacks were reduced, flashing repaired, cracked tiles replaced and gutter re-aligned. I'd definitely recommend them.

Great service from Gary and his team. I had an old and leaky asbestos garage roof replaced with brand new felt roof along with some cosmetic work to damaged tiles. Gary was very informative and responsive, and his team were utterly professional. After needing a new roof during Covid and giving the job to someone I saw working locally, I was amazed and very upset to have coping and cement fall down with no prior warning damaging my neighbour’s property. It was a miracle no-one was hurt. I needed urgent advice and help and Gary provided that immediately. He explained exactly what the problems were, secured the roof so there was no danger to passers by and arranged for his team to be onsite immediately. I'm very happy to recommend Gary and The Roofing Company. We used them for some repairs to the ridges on our house and guttering. We received quotes and spoke with 3 companies. Gary immediately inspired much more confidence in what needed to be done and why and provided a reasonable quote for the work. The work was done on time with good communication about when the scaffolding would come up and down, and when they would be doing the works and it appears well done. (I won't pretend to really know not being a roofer!) There was one small problem post work and payment and Gary had two people out within 48 hours to fix the problem. All in all a very good service and we will return to The Roofing Company if we ever need further roof work again.

Gary who was in charge of the work was absolutely fantastic. Not only was he professional, what stood out was his clarity on the job as to what was to be done, his honesty and his communication with us, be it by e-mail, text or a phone call, he notified us at all times as to the progression of the job each day. Nobody else we have had (and we've had a few) has ever been so on the ball as he was with us. Photos were sent before, during and after the job. His team were also professional and respectful and worked hard even down to the scaffolding Service (JAB). I found this company on Google after a horrible job was done to my roof and gutter by dodgy so-called builders. Gary's business is so reputable and also busy with work, but on the day I called Gary he found the time to come to my property and assess what needs to be done. His team started work the day after next and completed the job far quicker than the dodgy builders - and the quality of work from Gary's team was far better. I needed a flat rood replaced to prevent a leak and to fix a fairly shoddy previous job. We realised that we needed the pitched roof and a flat roof replacing. Gary was very prompt with a quote and a start date, seven days ahead was agreed. The work started as scheduled. The work continued without interruption and was completed in about six days. The guys that did the work were some of the best trades I've ever had working on the house. They worked steadily and considerately throughout. They and Gary were always ready to answer our questions pleasantly and accurately. Should I ever need similar work done in the future I would certainly contact the company again - I would also recommend them to anyone else.

Gary and team arrived to fix a leaking flat roof on a rear storey extension. Gary explained that the fibre glass product I had on the roof was prone to cracking and leakage. He recommended it was covered with a primer, underlay and felt. Due to the urgency, Gary arranged for the work to start within days and took 2.5 days start to finish and this included navigating around tricky spaces caused by 4 large sky lights (46 sq m in total). Called The Roofing Company when one of the chimneys on our three-story house started to lean. They arranged the scaffolding and provided a fix which included resetting pots on one stack and repointing another. Also used the scaffolding to have the outside of the house painted at the same time to maximise the sunk cost. Three weeks after finishing the job they sent a couple of their guys back make a small repair on a flat roof which they included at no extra charge on the initial job. Although the company is very busy Gary always returns messages. Happy that my Chimneys are now safe!

I called Gary when my flat roof over an outside porch started leaking again, after having only been replaced two years go. Having had a previous roofer do substandard work and not come back to fix it it was really important for me to trust Gary and feel reassured that he would both do a good job and give a meaningful guarantee. I found Gary from enthusiastic local recommendations and when he came to quote he was friendly and easy to talk to. His friendly team came to do the job and I was really pleased with their thoroughness and I would definitely recommend the company.

Poor workmanship and after sales service. Have had leaks after the job (roof installation) which have not been fixed. Gary won't now respond to calls or texts. Gary said work was guaranteed on the estimate and emailed to say he was sorting out an Insurance-backed guarantee, but after MANY reminders, and plenty of excuses from Gary, he has not given me any paperwork for either type of guarantee. nor has he been sympathetic to the problems caused by these leaks! It will probably cost me a lot of money putting this right. Would give zero stars, but won't let me do that!

I employed Gary and his team to replace my old guttering and I have employed them again to repair a leak in my roof. Gary and his team repointed my roof and applied silicone to a flat roof to protect it against the elements. There were delays in having the work done at the time and now one year later the exact same problem has re-appeared. I have given Gary every opportunity to come back to the property to make good, but have been told first that he was away and then that he would come back on a certain date but sadly he did not show up. I am having to pursue this formally and have someone else undertake the repairs. I am very disappointed.

I needed two flat roofs repaired in Strayfield Road – I'm pleased to say that after a few initial delays they've really performed. The main flat roof with internal gully was a real test due to its poor state and complexity. I had to go back and admire it after Matt & Steve left. Well done boys. We got Gary and his guys around to do a couple of fairly minor repairs... however whilst they were up there, they made a nasty discovery, re the condition of our flat roof... one thing led to another and they ended up re-felting the whole thing for us. They fit us in at very short notice, since we already had the scaffolding in place, so time was of the essence. Gary came round after we had some rogue traders do intentional damage to our roof. He left another job to come and take a look and noticed that they had left tiles loose, so he put them back. His team were over in a matter of weeks and did a fantastic job for a reasonable rate. The main areas of repair were to the fascia and guttering, as well as the valley in the roof. I can't recommend them highly enough.

Great service from Gary and David. My roof needed fixing, as it started leaking when flashing came loose.
