Hands down best spa experience I've ever had. They think of absolutely everything to make sure your time there is as seamless and relaxing as it can be. After you check in you go downstairs and thats where you separate from mens and womens. Then you get to use all of the amazing amenities before(or after) your appointment begins. There is a beautiful eucalyptus steam room, dry sauna, Swedish shower and an ice fountain so you can go between hot and cold for better blood flow. You then can get into the infinity pool that is co-ed. Its a beautiful small pool that is set to your body temperature and has spa like jets that lead to amazing relaxation. One of the best perks of this place is while you're doing all of these things, really sweet staff members come around and offer you a complimentary mimosa or champagne. (I tested this and there is no limit!!) Then about 10 minutes before your appointment begins you get your super soft plush robe on and wait in the relaxation room where there is water, tea, and little snacks for you to munch on. Finally, someone comes to get you for your massage/facial and give you the absolute best service. Ive been twice for a facial and both times were equally as fabulous. My most recent facial was from Lori and that woman is absolutely amazing at what she does! She took time to listen to my skin concerns and made a customized facial for me that made my skin glow more than it ever has. She also made samples of most of the products she used on me. Afterwards you're allowed to stay at the spa and use their amenities for as long as you want and you can even order lunch from CBD to eat around the pool. If you need to go anywhere afterwards they have showers with every toiletry you could need and hair tools to get you ready. I know the prices might seem high but they really offer so much more than most hotel spas do and they charge around the same price. 10/10 from me!

I was pretty let down with my experience at this hotel. I booked a spa day for my Mom and myself to celebrate her birthday. I booked about 6 weeks in advance, and ordered cupcakes and chocolate covered strawberries. I was told these items would be waiting for us when we arrived. Well, they weren't. We were only allowed to enjoy the spa for an hour before and an hour after services. By the time we got the food, we only had about 30 minutes left on our time. The relaxation pool was tepid with what seemed to be broken jets My Mom's therapist was inexperienced and she had to request someone new but the spa only offered 30 minute sessions at this point since our time was ticking down. The celebratory champagne didn't show up until after our treatments. The spa package was supposed to come with free valet but we actually got a parking fine a month later because valet had parked our car somewhere they shouldn't. This fine was actually sent to collections. So on top of everything else, we were sent a notice from COLLECTIONS stating we owed money for parking. This is just unreal. I book two appointments for a birthday spa day, with food and champagne and end up with a doggy bag 30 minutes before I have to leave and a parking fine cause of valet. Don't stay here. Don't book the spa. Don't give this hotel your money. This was a total let down. For being so "high end" this is probably the worst spa experience I've ever had. I only marked one star because it's required to post.

My sister and I had the most amazing experience! Valet was a breeze. It was our first time there so we were given a very in depth tour. We enjoyed the abundant facilities before and after our treatments. It was beautiful, CLEAN, and relaxing. So many thoughtful details. The staff were amazing all around. Exceptional service from everyone. The attendants in the locker rooms are more like magical fairies. Quietly restocking and cleaning constantly. I would take a towel from the stack, turn my back, and boom! Restocked. All requests were met with a smile. Everyone was incredibly warm and friendly. I booked the Earth Inspired package with Cedric. He was absolutely fantastic. I will not use anyone else in the future. He took time to explain the oil pour process and answered all of my questions. It was easy to tell that he really cares about his clients. My experience would not have been the same without him! I left the spa feeling totally rejuvenated. I do wish there were more vegan menu options as it is a wellness center! And neither the cookies nor the granola laid out in the relax room were allergen friendly. This is absolutely a 5-star experience. It seems like the people who were rating anything less were mostly complaining about things that could have been avoided if they had read the company’s cancelation policy that is clearly stated on their website. I can’t wait to book with Cedric again!

Joule Spa has become one of my favorite spa experiences. The spa is spacious and clean and the layout is nice for a good flow between different treatments and services. The staff is always nice and friendly but not fake or overwhelmingly pampering. The massages I have received in the past few visits were good quality (not the best) and they have essential oils already as part of their regular massages which is a nice plus (some places charge heavy additional fees). There's something about their steam room that makes me want to actually use it. The spa is also very couple friendly and the pool jacuzzi is shared so you can enjoy it with your partner. There are a couple of things that could improve. Their tea and snack section needs some help. The options were boring and very sugar heavy. And I was so surprised to see used hair brushes and hair ties as the only options with lots of hair stuck to them! That's wrong on so many levels. Thankfully I had my own stuff but it was gross and unhygienic.

Disappointment…missed the mark on ‘ultimate spa experience.’ Start by saying the massage was wonderful, very professional, with terrific aromatherapy oils to choose from. Missed mark - (and I hope management reads this) 1. the mens nature shower is out of order. Attendant confirmed it’s been down for a few weeks, but management acted like it happened that day. Water becomes stagnant without circulation, smell of sewer in the locker room was over powering. 2. Steam shower was not working properly, blowing cold air and no aromatherapy. 3. Pool was not clean, it’s in need of shock, petri dish of moldy air. Relaxation and tranquility are part of the package, but missed the mark. Multiple people were politely brining these issues up to the staff. Didn’t see a manager discuss with any customer. Wish our experience was better for the price paid. Advise you ask if the shower and sauna are working in the mens locker room before you go!

I am absolutely blown away by The Spa at the Joule. I visited for a 50-min customized massage on a Tuesday and OMG!! From the moment i walked in, until i walked out the customer service was amazing. They give a very detailed tour when you arrive and it was so welcoming, i felt so comfortable there. There are PLENTY amenities available ( 2 saunas, a rain shower, a relaxing body temp pool), as well as slippers, robes, bags, towels, toiletries, snacks, tea, water, champagne and everything you can imagine. My favorite part, besides the massage, was the wet sauna, WOW what an experience. My masseuse, unfortunately i can't remember her name, was amazing, very attention to detail, very communicative, and very good at her job. I think her name was Lana (that's a guess) but when i return i will be requesting her. I would highly recommend this spa and i will be back. Also, they validate the valet parking at the hotel.

Came to the spa today and valet at Hotel Joule backed my G 550 into another car at The Joule. I'm told valet is independent of the hotel, but the only way to visit the spa is valet. Valet was incompetent and had no claim forms available either. They tried giving me the owner's name and phone number on a post it note. The valet guy was extremely rude telling me I was over reacting. Anyone would be furious and beyond their car was damaged by someone else. I will be seeking all reimbursement from the spa and all damages to my vehicle. Hire competent people to work at valet for the Joule Hotel. Horrible experience now it's my time and completely inconvenient for me to have to deal with the car damage. Someone from upper management needs to contact me immediately. Beware anyone visiting this hotel and using their horrible valet. Seems like a bad operation and the hotel refuses to take liability.

I want to share my disappointing experience with the customer service at this spa. I'm 36 weeks pregnant with a 2 year old at home and am a 4th grade teacher. This year after Christmas, I was so excited to get a prenatal massage with a gift card a family member gave me for Christmas. Unfortunately, morning of I tested positive for Covid even though I had been super careful. I immediately called the Joule and tried to reschedule for 2 weeks from now. They were incredibly rude and told me that they needed to protect the therapists time and would still be charging me a cancellation fee of $90. My mom was a massage therapist for years, so I certainly understand that, but I was trying to not spread Covid to the therapist. I know it was unfortunate timing and a bad situation, but it would have been nice to have a more compassionate customer service experience.

I spent an afternoon at the Spa at the Joule as a belated birthday celebration and to say it was an amazing experience would be an understatement. From the moment I arrived, I was treated like royalty. From the robes to the champagne to the snacks, everything was planned out for the best experience. I selected the Blissful Ritual treatment, and I had Paula for my services. Not only was she kind and welcoming, but she did a great job at explaining every step of the process and quickly put any fears I had at ease. The treatment was truly relaxing and rejuvenating. After my treatments, it was great to use the pool, sauna, and steam room and I did not feel at all rushed during my time here. Even the showers were luxurious. I would absolutely return to the spa for a special occasion and would recommend the experience to others.

I’ve been to many spas all over the country (and a couple abroad,) but The Joule ranks top of the list. It’s intimate without feeling too small— they really try to limit the amount of people in there at a time, even before COVID, and it’s much appreciated. If you want a service on the weekend, be sure to call well in advance because they book up very quickly. I do wish they still offered Tata Harper products for their facials but the Biologique Recherche brand is nice as well. The steam room and sauna are quite large, and the European ice bath is a treat. I’ve been to all of the other spas in DFW and none of them even come close to this level of luxury. The customer service is exceptional and the staff keep everything extremely clean. This is my favorite place to splurge when I need a staycation!

The worst service ever! The staff are inept and illogical. We booked services for my birthday and they bait and switched us immediately the second we walked in. After asking for any of the changes in writing, they say no even though legally they could still charge us where she tells us that we can adjust according to our liking although the paperwork we signed multiple times stated that we will be held to a certain amount even if we are not getting those services. Definitely choosing the Anatole, Omni, or the Thompson over this.

I spent a day at this spa getting pampered and loved it! I got the signature facial, it was AMAZING! Celeste was my aesthetician, I would highly recommend her and will be returning very soon. Before, during, and after my facial I received EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE from every staff member that I came in contact with. I also ate at the roof top bar and enjoyed the Barbacoa tacos poolside and had drinks downstairs at the bar. Food and drinks were excellent. Once again I was given exceptional customer service by all staff members

I recently booked a spa treatment that I was running late for. The customer service is so horrible, that even when I called- they told me they had to charge 100% for my treatment and not get the full time. I asked could I be rescheduled for a later time today and although available- I would be charged 100% of the treatment amount. They were also going to charge gratuity. I asked them not to - that’s the least they could do. Very expensive lesson learned. I’ve never experienced this anywhere else

This was like no other experience I’ve ever had. First off the joule is GORGEOUS and the spa just exceeded all expectations. We went as a part of my bachelorette party. I thought it would be the only time I’d go, but I will 100% be going back. You’re not just paying for a massage or treatments, you get to enjoy the entire spa ALL DAY LONG if you want. Saunas, showers, pool... the list goes on. It was most definitely the most relaxing day and I needed it!

My family had a security issue at the Joule that was not handled properly. However, the GM appeared to address matters after the first couple of incidents and represented the brand well. I've removed a more thorough review out of respect for her 5 star handling of the matter. The GM of the Joule is pure class. However, I am disappointed that her staff failed my family, failed her and failed the brand.

Was charged over $300 for a service I never received, and right before the holidays. I had to cancel because they couldn’t accommodate my preference for a FEMALE therapist (despite indicating it on my reservation), and still was charged the amount for a full service. . Neither the desk nor the manager could be bothered by it. Horrible customer service, definitely go to the Ritz instead.

I go here to pick up one of my favorite candles - the Paris scent by Niven Morgan. However I’m changing my review from 5 to 2 stars after an unsatisfactory purchase in which management was unwilling to help rectify. I purchased a new Niven Morgan candle scent called Whitewood and Sea Salt and the quality of the candle’s hot throw was beyond weak and incomparable to the Paris scent.

Poor hospitality and management for a high end spa service. My reservation could not be found upon arriving for my scheduled spa service. Manager did not offer apologies, acknowledge mistake or offer to reschedule my service. After a push back and forth she did offer me a 20 minute express massage for $100. This was my third time to visit the spa and I have no desire to return.

  • Kelly Hood

What a terrific spa! I scheduled services for a party of three, which meant a bit of trickiness in trying to get everyone the service they wanted. The schedulers I worked with were excellent and creative in crafting a great experience in the end. The interior of the spa is amazing…and their combo of hot and cold therapies truly unique. I look forward to going back!

  • Brittany Murlas

Best facial of my life with the AMAZING Lorena! The spa area was beautiful and relaxing - they have a steam room, sauna, ice to cool off, and a body temperature pool with jets that felt so great on my neck and back. The tea and snacks were much appreciated.

  • Heather Hill

Giving three stars because I'm not ok with a forced 23% gratuity that is automatically added. The air jets in the warm pool weren't working, nor was the European shower. The steam and sauna rooms were great! The facilities were clean and well attended.

  • Madison Hill

This place was so so nice and such an escape from reality. The couples massage was just as amazing as the amenities you get to use beforehand - steam room, dry sauna, shared pool that’s body temp, and complimentary champagne. What else can you ask for?

  • The Mrs

Love the Spa! This was my second visit to the spa. My husband and I had a couples massage with Paula and Ai’yana. Services were great. We really enjoy using the sauna, steam, and the pool. My favorite spa in Dallas. Already have my next trip booked.

Came this morning for a Mother’s Day celebration and had the best time! The spa is beautiful and my massage was amazing. Nancy was incredibly attentive and made the experience seamless. Will for sure be coming back! Thank you!

  • Delaney Papin

This is easily the nicest spa I’ve been to! The amenities are beautiful go before your service to enjoy them! Philip did a deep tissue detoxing massage on me and he was INCREDIBLE. Absolutely left feeling amazing!

  • Xc R

Amazing experience! There are a few broken items in the men's locker room that need an update. Clearly, the maintenance and spa attendants are stretched thin. However, my service was absolutely excellent.

  • Alex Reiney

This was my first time going to a spa and certainly won’t be my last. Everything was five stars from the complementary champagne, various amenities, and the massage was awesome.

  • Christina Tipps

I can’t say enough good things about The Spa at Joule’s amazing staff and treatments. I had a massage, eyebrow threading, and The Joule treatment. So much stress washed away!

  • Tori Gulley

The Spa here is beautiful, and this is a place that I am eager to bring my wife to. Also you can order food and bring to the spa. That's simply amazing. More

Amazing. Great attention to detail throughout the facility. By far the best wet spa in Dallas. The staff are friendly and top notch!

Just go. You’ll find out for yourself why this is the only spa to sit at all day. It’s worth every penny.
