This pub has a good vibe and would be good to have a drink in. The interior is really nice and bright. The food was really nice and good prices. The mini smoking area was nice and has a cute touch. But this pub seems like the type to more-so drink in. The men’s toilet was gross, with fluids on the floor everywhere and one tap broken, hanging out. No locks on the toilet doors and toilet roll was soaked. Not nice or clean. Service at the bar was a bit slow. Menu’s also came out different from what is advertised on their website. Some menu’s came out with one page and another with 6 pages. Overall, definitely a place more-so to drink, listen to music and watch the sports. For drinking it’s perfect, for eating with a family not so much.

The pub is a quaint little brewery we went for food which was tasty but I found the menu very limited and quite pricey for what was offered. I had a hard job finding something I liked, that being said what I ordered was very tasty and fresh (a cajun chicken baguette). The pub its self was very quiet, an uneasy quiet for me and lacked in ambience and atmosphere. The staff were friendly but overall I think I will be reluctant to visit again in the near future. More suited for the older clientele who enjoy the peace and quiet and ramble on one's own thoughts.

The Three Tuns. Always going to be a difficult one for me to review but I have to say this was the best time I had in this pub in over 20 years. The ale was spot on, the service was friendly and efficient, The pub attracts a good mix of customers and on the night we visited had an excellent live band with a singer who was able to give plenty of good banter. After visiting Several other local pubs I can honestly say that this was the best in Sutton by a mile. The management should be proud.

AVOID THIS PLACE I may have to give an award to this place for potentially being the biggest dump in the UK The manager "moz", which is an awful name by the way, is useless & arrogant as well as being constantly drunk while running the business into the ground. He needs to seriously sort himself out. Beer that tastes like water, staff with the personality of a brick wall - it's a miracle the place is still running to be honest.

Despite frequenting this pub for many years to see bands I only ate there for the first time yesterday. Food was excellent fresh and really tasty and reasonably priced. Lots of vege options so will certainly be going back again. Great local pub. Friendly atmosphere and good service. Just seen a band called Seventh Son. They were the best live band ever!!! Played great covers. Never heard a band play The Stone Roses before!!! Cool beans!!!

Have frequented this establishment many an occasion and always found the mood calm and relaxed, jukebox with a good variety of music and a good price! Friendly and welcoming staff, great open Mic nights and live performances and also a really cheery mix of locals who have become personal friends. Also an interesting thing in the history of the town if you look it up Big thumbs up

Great food. Steve the chef cooks steaks marvellously. The beer is perfect and a good choice in the guest IPA’s. Service always good and ample safe parking at the rear in the evenings and weekend. Only complaint is that the website colours makes it very hard to read the menu etc. But that’s not a reflection on the pub. Highly recommended !!

The beer is the worst in Sutton.the only reason they survive is because they have football or bands.once its over every body leaves. I know for a fact the beer pull is under the dole office next door which is a very long pull, so beer is not cold plus I can tell the pipes are not cleaned often enough. Also the chips are white, did you're mother serve you white chips, no they were golden.

Lively atmosphere with a brilliant showing of the current sporting event(s), easily accessable as it's very close to Gracechurch shopping centre furthermore there is always something occurring, for example on Tuesdays there is live music and the best feature of this establishment is that of the allowance of dogs into building which causes many to be drawn into this perfect pub!

When I arrived I could see the barmaid outside smoking and talking to her friend and that's when I realised that, as usual, I would not get served until it suited her. At the bar, I phoned the pub 3 times and the phone wasn't answered. At this point, 10 mins, I re-arranged the evening and we gave a different pub our money.

Only popped in on the recommendations of my daughter and her partner who have moved into the area. What I found was a traditional family friendly pub, packed with happy punters enjoying their meals. Shame I was in a bit of a rush, as only had time for a swift half. Think I'll be back for the Sunday Roast.

  • Karen

Food was amazing .we visited as a group of 8 and must admit was slightly apprehensive as it appears more like a drinkers bar .But our food arrived and all meals were superb .The Sunday Roast was excellent .we also had Carbonata and Steak ..Again both cooked to perfection .Highly recommended

Went for sunday lunch, party of 9. Meal was delightful just like homemade with plenty of vegetables and gravy. Will go again definitely. Our only complaint was the smell of cigarettes that wafted down the alley into the rooms, perhaps the position of smoking area should be addressed

In my opinion, the best pub in Sutton Coldfield. There's actually four rooms, although the small bar room is only being used for ordering now. Toni has been working here a while and is an asset. Visited last night, 26.2.22 and pleased to see it's still a top place with live music

  • Jeevan M

This is a very good pub. Came all the way from Coventry and the owner really looked after us. Good atmosphere, great music and excellent staff and service. Definitely has a good selection of Ales on tap if your into that sort of thing. Looking forward to going back. Well done!

  • Tom Owens

Great character pub with a good selection of well kept beers and plenty of screens to watch sport. Food is good quality and at a reasonable price. The staff are friendly and welcoming. There are events including live music and a quiz on most nights.

  • S Tween

This is a quirky carriage house pub with every beer and good food for Everyone. There are cosy annexed rooms, a sun streaming sky light and eclectic but exciting live bands and sky sports all year round. Great historical and cozy trip.

  • Sandra Robinson

Happy memories of Claret who used to run the Tudor Rose Folk Roots night Monthly Sundays before New ownership and the two halves were covered on the coaching drive in. Great musical times... Still a great place. Thank you Sandraxx

  • Chris Bentley

Rough and ready. Unspoilt by the cretins who suck the personality out of pubs. Sutton's oldest public house has evolved, but is still recognisable and just as quirky and quaint as ever. The food is simple but tasty and good value.

  • Gene Downes

Good Clean Pub with Friendly Staff and Friendly Punters. Good Selection of Beers Including Some Real Ales.. Live Music is Bonus... Didn't Eat so can't comment on food.. Would I Go Back... Most Definitely Yes and Will Do Soon..

  • Steve ThePlumber

I've been drinking in the Three Tuns regularly since 1970. It's a wonderful pub with a great management team and bar staff. They always have a live band on Saturday evenings and an open mic night on Tuesday evenings.

Funny layout. No real back garden to speak of. Small area to smoke. Lager and beers on tap well looked after. Good for a large group to take over a room in a good way. Bar staff are good as well. Well organised.

Such a great place to hang out for a good few hours. The food was delicious and the staff were so friendly. Minor inconvenience that you have to spend over £5 on your card but that's where rounds come in.

  • Mez Plaything

I went here to see a band, Stone Meadow, they were good. I met some people I know there, let's call them friends for want of a better description. Got a little squiffy and had a great time.
