New campus is clean and well built, elevator/ lifts are mostly unavailable. Fees are high but service and staff are not of high standard. Very unorganized for even simple matters e.g. for thesis certificate, asked to provide all documents once this was done they strongly confirmed that the certificates would be ready in 30 days without doubt. 30+ days later Made the 2 hour journey to uni to be told that they hadn't even started the paperwork and started it then because We complained. The uni staff said it would be completed and available by 4pm today. We had booked our train back home and paid for the tickets so we asked many times to be sure they wouldn't lie to us and have us miss our train as it would cost us the return journey and another day to come back again. They confirmed 100% the certificate would be ready and to miss the train without worrying. We trusted them again and missed our train 4pm came and we returned to the office to be told it hadn't been done. This is very unprofessional and deceitful so we voiced our concern and that they had made us miss our train and cost us our tickets. They then tried to make us leave saying it's a busy uni and this happens but we couldn't see how they would say one thing then later change their story, it's a university not a circus they should not tell lies to students and make them suffer both financial and mental stress. They confirmed they would email the copy to us the following day, they didn't again. 3 days passed and they sent the front half of the certificate only we replied one the email they had given us that we needed the back half too, this email was ignored. After asking many student of their experience they also told similar stories of bad conduct, lies, deceitfulness, rudeness, complete lack of procedure and very unprofessional staff. My recommendation would be to avoid this university or be very patient and willing to waste time and money and be lied too alot. I feel very let down by such a big and established university.

I cannot comment on the quality and level of education that's been rendered as I am not a student enrolled with the university. The only adverse thing that I comment on the poor traffic management on the road where the university is situated. Parents observe great difficulties whenever they have to pick and drop their children at the university. The university is located inside the industrial area where five production units are operational and most of the time the pick and drop of students are routinely coincide with the labour timetable of check in and out. As a consequence you will always find long ques of labourers ascending or descending from their big lorries making the entire area congested and un maneuverable. Furthermore the guards deployed by the university are mostly impatient with the parents whenever they wait for their child at the entry or exit gates. The university does not have a proper space of her own where the parents could wait for their children with respective cars when they arrive to pick up their children. Adding to the gravity of the situation is also the aggressive driving of motorcycle drivers and rickshaws who are least bothered to road ethics and are coming from all directions violating all the norms and one ways. Complete absence of traffic police to manage and control the situation. As such, parents must be aware of the challenges that they may face upon admitting their children in the said Institute.

Spent 5 years at UOL, I must admit that in these 5 years, I've learnt a lot, made so many great friends and had ton of momories along with degree. Nowadays, people often say that university degree is just a piece of paper, thet are right to some extent but the fact is, you don't only go to university for a piece of paper, you go there and learn loads of thing, for example, personality development, enhancing your Social abilities, to mention only a few. So coming to the University Of Lahore, It counts as one if the top rated private education sector in Pakistan with huge number of students, excellent faculty members and the best amongst all, The Environment. So I would suggest to go and take admission in UOL, regardless of your experiences after 4-5 years when you'll be graduated, you might not be happy with you past decision to select UOL, but later when you get out of that trauma, you'll start witnessing those amazing memories you made and lessons you learnt the campus, they are litterally priceless and that day every gradute will feel tears in his eyes and miss the university life. I never ever thought that i will write such passage and that too for UOL, but trust me things are changed in life after uni, so enjoy as much as you can... And best of luck to those who seek admission in UOL and to those as well who are currently in their deparments and making 10's of assignments and taking quizzes and stuff on daily basis

A Private sector University of Pakistan, attracts huge community of students in the BS, MS and PhD degree programs. The University of Lahore has plenty of study programs in various departments. The teaching faculty and administrative staff are extremely professional and cooperative. The environment of the Institute is very pleasant and education oriented. The buildings are very well maintained and hygienically clean. The classrooms are designed according to the international standards. The Departments are equipped with the well established laboratories. The cafeteria is my favourite place. The environment of the cafeteria is very relaxing and cosy. The prices of the food are moderate and affordable. The buildings have stairs as well as lift facilities. The offices of the Administrative Staff and Faculty Members are secured by the biometric Locks to avoid unnecessary accumulation. The staff is very friendly and resolve your issue well in time. I enjoyed the environment of the University very much and recommend others to taste the same.

  • FAHAD ZAEEM

The architecture of the buildings is attractive, but I am here to talk about the standard of education and the capabilities of the management as this university is so called a Non-Profit organization. With other private universities in Pakistan, this university also has many management issues, especially in the accounts department. As I heard and experienced in private universities they just want to lose your pocket, they have no concern with your education and personal development. All they need is bags of money. Don't go there unless you have a strong financial and political background otherwise, you will not be able to fight them if something happens. Nobody will listen to your case inside the university. But if still, you want to go to any private institution you may go but only if no other public is giving you admission in any of its programs.

  • NonStop Fazzu

Note: Read the full review. So, I just got admission in this University in the field of Physiotherapy. Talking about my opinion as a new student , the infrastructure of the whole University is excellent. Every department has its own building. Faculty is good. The programs are HEC recognized. A lot of extra stuff. But so far , the management isn't really good. There's no real interaction between the management and students. Even students and teachers don't know where they have to give lectures. Most lectures are being cancelled for unknown reasons. And also the class schedule is not even followed. So its a bit annoying as you have to roam here and there just to waste your time and energy.

  • Suleman Saeed

This is such a nice and beautiful University. Once I went there to get information about the new admission. And the university is beautifully decorated and it's buildings are also very colorful. Many buildings are there in University. And nice people and students are to be seen there. The cafe is a very beautiful place, and it is so lovely. So fascinating. This is a private university. So for some students the fee structure of this university is not good. Because some students are poor and can't afford it but they still want to get admission in this university. So the management should take this fact into account and make their fee structure affordable, for everyone.

Don’t be a student here you will get expelled. If you propose some one ..you will get expelled If you have a crush on someone...you will get expelled If you love someone...you will get expelled If you are human....you will get expelled in this university!! You MUST ONLY STUDY AND NOT MAKE ANY FRIENDS OR EVEN HAVE A LIFE OUTSIDE OF THIS UNIVERSITY YOU WILL GET EXPELLED. God knows the narrow minded principal and deans of this university who expelled students who express they’re love for each other! There is no such thing as freedom or college life in this university!!

  • Taimoor Ali

Is one of country's better universities which offers almost all courses and degrees. They also have a good ranking internationally, student body is also also good and there are almost more than 15000 students on this campus this is a good huge campus with all of the facilities available to the students and staff is also kind of helping better than what you find in Government Universities. The overall envoironment of the university is also good. Culture is being improved with time aswell.

  • ie 7i

Horrible experience!! I applied for admission gave test with another bad experience which I bring into notice of department head same day..later I got email surprisingly about not appearing in the entry test. Tried several times to contact admission office, unfortunately sometimes they are busy sometimes they drop my call after hearing whole story. No response on whatsapp number. Totally disappointed but its good this happened before even initiating with them.

The university's remarkable blend of academic excellence, state-of-the-art facilities, and a vibrant campus community make it a powerhouse of education and innovation. From its distinguished faculty to its extensive range of programs, this university stands tall as a beacon of knowledge, fostering intellectual growth and inspiring future leaders. Apart from that, the environment was very beautiful, lush green and cosy

  • Niazi Explores

A university which is offering almost all the degree programs like Medicine, engineering and technology to Business, Arts and Literature. But one thing i want to say about engineering programs is that University of lahore must engage different industrial units and firms to train their engineers fully and according to the demands of current market scenario. It will help them for securing their jobs in the market.

  • Aoun Kazmi

The University of Lahore (UOL) has played a major role in developing learning and research that would provide students, wanting to study in the private sector, with a greater choice of courses. The objective has always been strengthened by developing excellence in teaching, learning and research at UOL. This has also allowed UOL to become one of the finest institutions of higher education in Pakistan.

  • Junaid rasool

The University of Lahore is a great Institution in Private sector of Pakistan, the fee structure is comparatively uch lower than many of the equally ranked institutions. I personally had a great learning experience here. Many of the faculty members who taught us were few of the best in our country. The university has way too much to offer to give students a nice kick start in their professional life.

  • Zainab Naeem

One of the best university in private sector offering top notch degrees at BS and masters level along with PHD programs. This university is an amalgamation of medical, social sciences, arts and humanities, media, sports and finance degrees. All at once place! No other university offers such ambience, infrastructure, system of teaching and facilities like this university! Highly recommended!

  • SSdragon Shorts

The university is a good place but the administration of uni is trash especially for the students. Fines are too much common such as for a card holder* if you have card holder and not wearing the card then you are again fined bout 2000RS , unfair. As it' a private uni thats why these things happen. Traffic system is also trash and no parking spaces for public and strenght is about 40k.

  • Sher Ali shah

Guys if you want to save your time and money and don't want to throw your self in a ditch so please stay away from this university. Highly not recommended university. Here education is just a business. And they will make money from you. But never gives u the good education. And they also gives u 4 years program degree in 7 to 8 years. So save your time, money and future.

  • mubashir uddin

The university of Lahore is a private university which offer the highest number of degrees in Pakistan.its also focuses on co curricular activities.within the premises of university smoking is strictly prohibited.exams may naqal krna shakti say manah hai other wise 20 thousand jirmana or nikal na k b chances hai.addmision ka koi tension nahi everyone is welcome.

  • Saman Javaid

Being a student there for 5 years, I would say that the university was structurally awesome but studywise not that good. The university doesn't follow the rules i.e. the university is continuously growing physically but no one cares there for the peace of students during studies. And also that the student count increases without enough space to accomodate them.

  • Qarib Hasnain

The campus is satisfactory, however with the construction of new department buildings university life is bound to get more interesting if nothing else! The university should also allocate more resources to the cafeteria and student events(excluding the many religious events I've seen up til now). In spite of all that the university is well thought out.

  • Åhměđ Üppáľ

The University of lahore is a wonderful and highest charted university in private sector . Offers (bacholars to PhD) degrees in many field (medical , natural science , artificial intelligence , engenring and many More.) Bad management Expensive No student consoling program. Rest of the things are pretty good. Overall exprince is good.

  • Farhan Sadiq

Well I don't know much about how they teach but one thing that I can vouch for is that they have one of the most uninformative, unhelpful websites in the country. Whenever I tried to gather something useful from there , I always ended up in a maze of useless and endless photos and list of names etc...and that is all.

  • Hamza B

Management is poor else its good university.Their food is quit good of cafe. Security is quiet active. Some teachers are quite experienced and good at what they teach. But the environment deviated students from studies especially engineering students can not afford it.If student foucs on studies its good university.

  • Umer khan niazi

Really third class administration only stealing money from students. They make money by simply not alloweding students and by fining them for no reason. They make 1.2 billion pkr in semester and still can't pay bills!!!and that's the reality. Sorry but true everyone see the good comments but this comment is ture!!!

A nice institute, among the leading in the city. Only this which is negative that they compromise quality in terms of hiring their faculty members, because they pay too less snd mostly hire inexperienced and fresh candidate to save their cost.
