SCAM !! DO NOT BUY POKÉMON CARDS HERE!!!! SCAM!! SO the store is nice a ton of comics and a very large store to shop through them all! BUT I bought a Pokémon trainers box, sword and shield, a couple weeks ago. I recently opened the box and first noticed the factory seal WAS NOT normal. The seal was very thin and tore right off like cellophane!!! Not to my surprise the packs inside were clearly opened and resealed as well as the dice and coins out of their packages. I recently came back to see if it was just a one time thing but found three Pokémon trainers tins that had NON factory seal around them and were missing items inside as well as the packs being tampered with. I am not putting all the blame on the owner maybe he had a bad supplier but I can’t not trust this place and will never be back!!

This is one of my favorite stores in Houston. They have a great nerd collection, and I’m a huge nerd. From the comics to the toys, there is something for everyone who has nostalgia for their childhood or still looks for these things now. The location is quick to miss so look out for the tiny building right after the hotel. This is very rare that I bring it up, but the staff is an always inviting or welcoming. But it comes with the territory of visiting a very historical establishment like this, especially for those who are into the sorts of things. Nevertheless, you this is worth the visit every time.

This place is great for super obscure books and independent books. They have a ton of older toys and collectibles. If you are looking for collectibles other than comics, this place is great. If you're looking for a good comic shop, this place is just fine. The pricing on all modern and silver books is super on the high end. If you're looking for a good deal, you're probably better off going to one of the other local shops. I've rarely gone here, looked at some comics and thought "this price makes sense and I'm comfortable paying this much for the book".

Large store; great selection of comics and many other collectables. Also, some items such as vintage VHS tapes and paperbacks that you don't often see in this kind of store. Everything is well organized, with special sections for items such as Star Wars merch and collectable card games. Friendly and welcoming staff. You enter for the parking lot from the Southwest Freeway Feeder Road, before passing the building; I missed it the first time, but parking was fine in the end. Want to come back.

Really cool place to get some great stuff mainly comics and action figures, wish they would have a bigger selection for Funko pops. Maybe a update l, kinda hard to spot and a lil dusty and seems like they don't get much new stuff. Would recommend and definitely go back soon to see hopefully they get more pops in. Also if possible can y'all put the price tags on the bottom of stuff instead of in the front of product hard to take off and leaves marks on the items.

Ripped off on rare Kevin Smith Green Arrow and other comics related to Kevin Smit, I was laughed at and ridiculed when I said you riped me off! If karma has not found you I will. I'm 210lbs 6ft and grew up fighting and if I find you in H-Town I'm going to take you out on the TOWN. Looking to see you. This was in 2012. The scumbag that worked or works there has karma with fire coming.

Good selection of tabletop and board games and SciFi and comic books. Nice staff who will help you out if you are looking for something specific. We came on Free comic book day and star wars day and they had something going on for both events. The woman dressed like an ewok helped us pick out a new board game. She was very helpful by explaining what the games were.

The customer service here was the best we’ve ever had. Stephanie was very attentive and helpful. She went above and beyond. They have so much variety and great prices. We highly recommend it here. This Venom piggy bank was only $19 where it’s $30-$80 at other stores.

An absolutely amazing selection of nerdy goods. Very wide selection and some VERY hard to find goods. Their collection is always changing and stopping in as a nerd visiting houston is a must. They've got models, figures, books, comics, miniatures, movies, etc.

Love this place! Great comic book selection from new releases to classics. They have multiple endless rows of funko pop figures as well as action figures and other collectibles. They have a small section of D&D figurines and other miniatures.

This place is like a safe haven for comic lovers! Everyone is knowledgeable and has always gone the extra mile to help out with any questions I needed answered. To this day, I've never left without a stack of comics coming home with me.

Awesome place with a ton of memorabilia, got my mom a mother's day gift here but there's way too much in the store for just a quick visit. Will definitely be back and thanks to the guys and gals working there for being so helpful :)

There is a living legend of comic book history walking the earth in Houston. His name is TJ and he runs Third Planet. Do yourself a favor and befriend this man. Poisonous Spiders, Nudes and Consolation Prize inbound shortly, amigos.

One of the best comic shops I've ever visited. Just stellar. They have everything my nerdy heart could desire, and very fairly priced. Their stock of back issues, trade paperbacks, puzzles and other collectibles is second to none.

Was truly speechless at first sight. Oldest comic store in the US? Fantastic. As a comic reader and curator of retro toy collections this was the spot. Stephanie was SUPER helpful and I found some books to take home too.

  • Christine Hanner

Awesome store with so much stuff! Comics, manga, miniatures, collectibles, there is just so much to see, that a simple review doesn't do it justice. Staff was super friendly and informative. Will be visiting again!

Huge selection and friendly knowledgeable staff, just a bit too pricey on some of their newer inventory. Definitely worth it for serious collectors.
