I rarely write reviews, but then again I rarely ever find hidden gems that I feel like others could benefit from. I was up late one day searching for a specific comic and it wasn't in stock anywhere. I stumbled across Thunder Comics Canada, who had copies available. Up until then, I've never heard of Thunder Comics, but I decided to take a chance and ordered. Safe to say it's the best decision I've made in 2022 and now, if I'm looking for something, my first stop is Thunder Comics. I reached out to ask a couple of questions and Thaddeus, the owner, replied right away. Since then, I must have sent dozens and dozens of questions his way and I receive a response within the hour every single time. He puts me on to new releases, updates me on the status of orders, goes out of his way to find me copies if he doesn't have them in stock, all while being one of the kindest and most patient individuals I've come across. He also knows that I'm a collector and makes sure to inspect the quality of the product, which is greatly appreciated. It's always nice to have a second set of eyes. On top of all that, he knows his comics like the back of his hand and on the off chance he doesn't, he goes and looks it up. Like I said, I rarely write reviews and only do so if the quality of the service is exceptional and in this case, exceptional is an understatement. It's actually kind of bittersweet to write this, as Thunder Comics Canada is an up and comer in the game so they often have stock of comics others are sold out of and as Thunder Comics becomes a household name, I'm probably going to have to monitor stock more closely. However, I'd be doing a disservice to Thaddeus if I didn't write about how happy I am to have a go to comic shop. It's not my local comic shop, but it's still my local comic shop if that makes sense haha.

I am very happy with the service of thunder comics. I recently ordered something from the site but it was not currently in stock due to unavailability from the distributor. They advised me that it would not be in before Christmas and that I could cancel the order if needed. While I would have preferred to support this business I needed to cancel as this was for a gift. I would gladly support this business in the future for their honesty and customer service. Thank you very much!

Place a comicbook order on 06/20/2022. It is 09/18/2022 almost 3 months later and it hasn't shipped yet, All email enquiries to my order have been ignored. I would strongly recommend not to do business with them.

Always responds very timely to inquiries and is always quick to arrange a pick-up when pre-ordered items come in! Plus, prices are much cheaper than local comic book stores!

Great and smooth transaction. Their strong point is their price, I easily paid 3x more elsewhere. Very satisfied and wouldn't hesitate to order again.
