My experience today was vastly different from my previous review. I didn’t have the experience of dealing with the front desk representatives previously. Your front desk manager is the first impression any patients have with your office. The office manager Ruth sets a very negative and unpleasant tone the second you walk in. I was checking in with the very friendly new representative and had a question regarding my secondary insurance, the representative was unsure so she turned to her manger for clarification and was told to hold on. So I was asked to sit down until she could get her trainer, which was fine but while sitting waiting, I could hear the manager discussing my private financial and insurance information to the trainee. When the trainee called me back up she tried to relay the information to me, but was clearly confused, which caused Ruth to step in and instead of helping develop a solution to the problem, she was extremely dismissive and patronizing. I then asked for my visit notes, and was told to sign a release and my patient information could be printed now, and my X-rays would be sent within 24 hours. The patient information that was printed and handed to me was the intake form that I filled out previously, when I had specifically asked for visit notes showing a record of care. When I stated the form given wasn’t what I asked for, she was very snarky and stated all she could do was give me the form I filled out, and scoffed at me.. I offered other solutions, I had been given an office previously and I was told by Ruth this is the way she’s done things for the last year and it’s their policy. She was unable to provide even my visit notes for me, I couldn’t get any record of care printed even after I offered to wait for them to get these records together, which has cause further delay of treatment and leaves me in pain. Hopefully Dr Josh and Melanie can find a practice that exemplifies their patient care standards My previous review: Dr Josh and Melanie are the best. She makes you feel so comfortable and validated getting you ready for the doctor and then Dr Josh explains everything so well and efficiently. There is a lot of trust built and it was the best dental visit I have had. I’m usually terrified and leaving the office ready to cry. I was smiling and ready to have a great day. I can’t wait to be back in a few weeks for my crowns!

I've been a loyal customer for 28 years and my last teeth cleaning was my second worse experience there. First was a few years ago. Hygienist scraped my gums quiet a bit during cleaning. It was rather painful. She just let the liquid sucker tool hang from my cheek to the entire time but never actually let me close my mouth to suck up the water etc. I felt like I was choking on water throughout the cleaning. After cleaning was done, she lectured me (not recommended) on buying an electric toothbrush. Most recent visit, I wasn't advised that my normal hygienist was out sick until I was brought back to the room. I believe I had a very inexperienced person polish my teeth and then I had to wait 10-15 minutes for another person to come in and clean my teeth. Process was a bit backwards this time around. And then apparently they changed the policy on fluoride and didn't bother to let me know before applying so I was surprised at the end of my visit with a bill. I was told they'd look into it next week when my hygienist returns but then to my surprise again, I received a text message the next day with a bill to collect payment. I'd say 2 bad experiences in 28 years isn't bad but overall the last few years haven't been as good as it was in the past.

I HATE DENTISTS. I have feared them since I was a child and would rather let my teeth rot than sit in that chair. However, Dr. Chow and the entire staff at Today's Dental has changed 30 years of me despising dentists. Everyone is so kind and helpful, and do their best to make you the most comfortable you can be. Dr. Chow has worked with my anxiety patiently and has actually figured out some things about my tooth anatomy that has been driving me crazy for years (I was unable to get numb until he figured out that my nerves are not where everyone else's are). I have had 4 crowns done in the past few months, and he has been able to get me numb and get through everything very quickly. I no longer have a fear of the dentist! I also never write these kind of things, but it is well deserved. Thank you to everyone working there, and I'm glad to see you soon at my next cleaning

I was looking for a dentist closer to home and came across Today's Dental. Upon calling to check if my insurance is accepted and if taking new patients. Got the double yes, made an appointment just a few days out. From the moment entering the building, I was greeted by the front of house staff and made welcomed. Then to the back for a show around the office and all of what is done here. Pretty cool and modern tech. Back of the house staff has also been awesome! So many options you are asked, to help make you the most comfortable you can be. Abbie and Dr. Josh both are super friendly and very professional! They walk you through everything, make sure to check if you have any questions and give through answers! Found my new dentist office!

I can not even begin to explain what an incredible experience my first visit was with Today’s Dental. The front desk staff took the time to help me figure out insurance details. They were so patient with me and that was a great start to an amazing experience. The dental assistant was so kind and patient. Took the time to listen to ny needs and explained everything she was doing. Dr. Chao was very gentle and understanding of my anxiety of being at a dental office. He explained everything I needed to get done and made sure I was ok with all the details. I highly recommend this dental office. I’m so happy I found them.

I hadn't been to office for quite while. I love the fact that the Dental Hygienists I know are still there. The new front office staff is great and very friendly and through. I met Dr. Josh at my cleaning very nice warm and friendly. I was going to be losing my insurance in a few days and needing some additional work down they were able to fit me in within my timeline, the hygenist was evening willing to forgo her lunch for me if necessary.

With not coming to the dentist in over 2 years, everyone made sure that I was comfortable. My hygienist Brandy, was very informative and made sure I knew everything that was up. The DR that helped me Dr. Josh was very good and told me everything that I needed to know. After my appointment the treatment coordinator Erica helped me out alot with scheduling my next appointment! I will definitely be returning.

I have been going to Todays Dental for 15+ years. I was concerned when new ownership took over a couple of years ago but they have been great. Jamie is the best hygienist ever. Dr Chao is great and I love how he uses the most up to date technology. The last crown that he did for me fit perfect the first time. There was no adjustments needed which almost never happens.

I’ve been going to Todays Dental for many years. I always have a great experience, the hygienist always does a fantastic job and the front office staff is always very nice. I’ve also had great experiences with all work I’ve had done with dentists, they are very gentle and informative, the assistants are also very informative and help me feel at ease.

I had an unparalleled dental experience. Every single staff person I interacted with was warm and welcoming. I loved the tour which showed me how advanced and equipped this practice is. At all times, I felt like I was in the most competent hands. They were even playing Radiohead on the sound system ~ major plus! Highly recommend this practice.

Staff was nice and the office is calming. Very personable. Dr Josh and Dr Chao both do amazing work. Have always talked to me honestly about what the best plan options are and not just to turn a profit. Amazing dental hygienist, caring, and gentle handed while doing a deep cleaning. Cannot recommend this office enough!!

My teeth look so beautiful! I feel so happy! Dr Josh is very good and his assistant is his right arm. You can’t go wrong picking them for all your dental needs. The chairs good be a little more comfortable not very comfortable for my back. But they gave me a pillow to help

This was the best experience I have ever had at the dentist! They go above and beyond by a mile to ensure everyone feels comfortable and welcome. I highly recommend them! It was easy to book an appointment, and the process was exactly what you wanted in 2023 standards.

Best. Like many of us, I dreaded the dentist. Well that left my mouth in a horrible condition. But Today has gotten me back and my smile. Goes the extra mile in every vist, even when they refer me, the referral place gives the same exact service and comfort.

Last time I was in, I was told they didn't do the type of implant I have installed. I just need the tooth or crown. My teeth were cleaned this time, and that was good, but I still have not been referred to someone that can install the tooth on my implant.

When I go into this office I can expect courteous and experienced office staff. The dentists are nice and helpful also. Some of their procedures seem a little pricey, but to be fair I have not compared them to any other dental practices.

Love the new vibe at the office! The staff are always kind and helpful but the lobby and facility have recently been spruced up and look really nice. Everyone is very accommodating. Dr. Jennings is an amazing addition to the staff!

Jaimie did an amazing job cleaning my teeth, like always. I tried to go to three different Hygienists due to moving away. But, I decided to make the hour drive to have Jaimie clean my teeth because she does such a great job.

I just finished my 6 month check up and it went very smoothly. I had no wait to get in and Jamie was very clear about what she was seeing while still being quick with my cleaning. I appreciate all the staff at Todays Dental.
