Horrible and unlucky experience, my first nightclub experience in Toronto. I came here on a Friday (no event) night before 11pm for line up with 3 other friends. Entrance fee is $30 which I find it overpriced, lady or man! Coat check was fine. Now, I understand drinks at any kind of food, service, clubs establishments is expensive, but $5 for a cup of tap water?? Anyway, I ordered a cup of drink and not the tap water. They only play one time of music which I think it was electric. The unlucky experience is someone stole my wallet from my purse, and used my credit cards at ToyBox. I asked the staff there about if they found any wallet when I found out my wallet was gone, and nothing. FYI, be careful at Casablanca too, the thief tried to used it. One of the coat check lady was nice enough that call her manager and talked to me and left my information there. The manager told me to call back the next day at 8 o’ clock for follow up, I called next day and the day after, but nobody pick up. I emailed them and they responded asking basic question that I had already gave them (wrote down) on the same night, I replied and I heard no more from ToyBox. Bottom line I would not recommend this club, there is much better one in GTA.

This is the worst club I’ve ever been to. Bouncers here are the most predatory and unprofessional people I’ve ever encountered who are all on some kind of god complex cop reject power trip. Our group of seven were all on the guest list with tickets, but they only let half the group in and made the others wait in line for 30 minutes just to be rejected at the front for reasons that constantly changed. In order to get in at that point you needed to bribe the bouncers, but one them admitted that even when you pay them their sketchy under the table fee they’d still make you wait a random amount of time before letting you in. And any men would also still have to pay the cover fee. I came back out with the tickets for the people in our group that waited in line but they were still refused entry. Our entire group left at this point. They are many better clubs in the area and our group had a great time at one literally a two minute walk away from this garbage excuse for a club.

Ive had pretty bad experiences of cleberating Birthday’s at clubs but it had been awhile i had gone clubbing, so I thought to plan my friends birthday at Toybox. Honestly, idk if they just had all new staff there but everything went perfect. I had about 14 people at my booth and all went smooth af. The staff was so nice and helpful, something you dont find at many Toronto clubs in general. Id like to specially thank out host/bottle girl Fiona! Honestly she was the best!! Not only did she make sure everything was going smooth at my table but was super nice enough to help my friend who got super drunk and was so accommodating to help her stay good. If any of you read this and wanna go to ToyBox make sure you tell on the door you want Fiona to be your host! She hellaa Cute too!!

Great venue with an excellent design for human traffic! Even when the place is packed, it's quite easy to maneuver around, thanks to the underground area. Been to this venue multiple times, and have never had an issue with either getting to the front, getting to the bar, or getting to the washrooms. The floor does tend to get pretty sticky, abnormally so, half way through the night. Like, yes drinks get spilled and the floor gets sticky, but for some reason, after going to most of the venues in Toronto, Toybox's floor gets the most sticky feeling consistently. Overall, Toybox has really good decore inside and outside! The look it has outside coupled with the narrow path to get in gives it a nice atmosphere. This is one of the top venues in Toronto for sure!

The worst atmosphere, a group of Ukrainian girls and boys come up to and have a chit chat and dance along for a while and then after like ten minutes one of the girls starts pretending that her phone is lost. Naively me and my friend tried to look for the phone all around the place, and then she disappears on you, and find you after a while, i guess she is watching you. Then she comes and claim and accuse you of stealing her phone. Her friends also try to intimidate you, but we resisted and asked to get the security and we will file a complain to the club. After which they just disappeared. But the whole situation ruined our night and we left. Be careful of this scam. Avoid going there!

This place is UNREAL…. I know I was drunk but this place made me feel like I’m on a crazy drug. The lasers, smoke, dancers and lights make this place the best of the best night club experience. I got in fairly quick but the bouncers were a little miss leading about the guest list lines. I will say this club doesn’t feel like your in Toronto mainly because it wasn’t crazy expensive and the bouncers are so nice. One bouncer accidentally lead me the wrong way to the smoking section and I accidentally walked out of the club. I tried explaining to the bouncers at the front that I was already inside and they were super understanding and let me back in. Will be back!

The bouncer was extremely rude. I went there with my wife, and the bouncer that approached us was very unprofessional. We were confused about why he was treating us in such a terrible manner. I asked him to just take it easy and do his job, but he kept treating us rudely. I’m not sure if he was having a bad day, but that does not justify not doing his job professionally. Frankly, this nonsense with the bouncer ruined the whole night. I don’t see the point in having bouncers greet people disrespectfully. Do not come to this place if you want to save a headache to yourself. There are better night clubs.

Loved it! Great venue. Reasonably quick lineups. I got there about 50 mins after doors open. Tonight was Oliver Heldens coming to Toronto Toybox nightclub and what an awesome experience. Their sound systems is surprisingly good. I ordered 2 beers (a Stella and Budweiser) and it was like 17$. The interior design is pretty cool, fairly easy to navigate the stairs and coat check. They have multiple booths on the main floors and basement. Their bar tenders is friendly and will accommodate you with flashy lighting trays if you order bottle service. I would come here again. Fun experience if you bring your friends.

Me and my partner had a great time at Toybox the other night. The cover was free for her and it was $20 for me. Didn’t have to pay the bouncers anything extra. Coat check was $3.50. Shots were about $12-$14. The club is pretty big and open. Crowd was on the younger side (19-25). The music was alright but the lighting and overall vibe was super cool. Really enjoyable night. Tips: Get on the guest list on their website prior to going. Bring cash! No debit/credit machine at coat check or for cover. They do have debit/credit machines at the bar. Don’t dress in layers, gets very hot. Have fun!

A great place for a good time (at least that was my experience!). I was there a couple of weekends back with a group of friends for Italian vero. The environment was lively and I was surprised that the service was great as well, I can’t say the same about most other Toronto clubs. We were helped by a lovely lady named Vic to secure a spot in the crowded venue, so shout out to her for making our night amazing✨ She also popped in multiple times throughout the night to ensure everything was going smoothly, which was really nice! I will be returning for the next Italian vero event!

Where do I even start smh horrible, horrible DJ. He played terrible remixes to songs that would’ve been good on their own. Did not care about what the people wanted. I get that it was a Drake night, but there’s no reason to play his music for 2h30 non-stop, people were sick of it. Everyone was clearly waiting for him to play something good, but he kept on playing some boring songs. He played Adele’s "Hello" over Burna Boy’s "Last Last" instrumental, i’m in disbelief. I wouldn’t come back even if i got paid to. Edit: HE PLAYED A PUNJABI REMIX OF LAST LAST? ON A HIP-HOP NIGHT?

Coming from New York I was pleasantly introduced to the Toronto club scene at Toybox. The booth and bottle service were excellent from entry to exist. Service was attentive even in the packed club. Security was on point keeping the large crowd under control. Revellers were on the younger side, possibly due to graduation week but people were very polite. They don't serve mixed drinks or shots at the booth and the crowd is too daunting to cut across to the bar. Music system lights and DJs are good. Recommend getting a booth and reaching out through their website.

What a vibe it was last saturday. It was my boyfriend’s birthday and I was so scared he wouldnt like this club but was I wrong. We had an AMAZINGGG nighttt. Everything went great and smooth. All the staff were super professional and nice. The music, the crowd and the lighting were magical. It wasn’t that packed so we had enough space to breath. I really wanna give a huge shout out to our server Fiona! She kept the table of 12 running soo smooth, kept all my friends happy. We all had a great time!! See you guYs soon honestly!!

Went there on a Friday night. We were able to get in for free because we booked (ladies night) using the website. We just have to pay for our male friend which is 30dollars. The atmosphere is okay it has high ceiling so it has enough ventilation. Dance floor is wide enough for probably 50 to 70 people. The music was good most of it are not my type but it was good. We were at the main level. There are security roaming around but it's still better to keep you belongings with you.

Artsy and chic looking club with an interesting layout. The lights and sound system are very good quality, very immersive. Main dance floor is narrow with tables to the side. It does get packed full of people so there is an underground hallway to move from the back bar to side stage. Interesting art splashed throughout the club. Only gripe is the crowd is more on the younger side; 19 - 24 y/o. Younger than typical raves. Good club, do recommend checking out for the experience.

cash grab - even though the line was dead, the bouncer demanded $20 just to get IN THE LINE on top of the $30 cover to get into the club. He clearly just wanted to pocket some cash since he let us in shortly after when he realized the club was dead. $20 cover is whatever, but $50 is outrageous. Go to this club at your own risk if you want to deal with douchebag bouncers with god complexes

Do NOT go to this bar, got my phone and id’s stolen in the last 10 minutes of being at the bar. Security and staff not helpful at all. There were also multiple other people looking for their phones that night. Entire phone stealing operation going on in this bar. After my phone got stolen I heard stories of at least 5 other people getting their phone stolen at toybox. Do NOT go here, so many better and safer bars in toronto.

This was the first time I went to a club in Toronto , the 1st one hour was good music and energetic, later the guy constantly played Weeknd music ( I got sleepy , in a club ) and this was on Canada day , also they said that people who wear red will get free entry before 11:30 pm , I went in at 11:10 or probably before that , they charged me 30$ .

The bouncer was a complete douchebag that asked us $20 extra just to get through when the line was completely dead. I don’t understand what the point of that was but it definitely soured the rest of the night. Also, the cover was $30, not $20 like what I saw from other reviews. Pretty crazy premium just to get in. The music was decent though, although it was not EDM.

Spacious nightclub, the bartenders can make pretty much anything you want. About $10 a drink on average including shots. The bathrooms are huge and pretty clean for a night club. The bathroom is best for photo ops. The main dance floor isn't that big. Overall the decor is cute and it's a nice venue

Really odd how they did not give you a stamp on entry when they charge you cover to get in! The bar area was really crowded while the rest of the area was empty which was odd. The dj only played techno music which is not to my liking. Not the best spot to go to when there is many other places nearby.

Such a great experience!! Celebrated my 21st birthday and I had so much fun! The music was amazing and staff was great. Victoria D was so awesome, she was such great help with our bottles and mixing our drinks for us. All around amazing service and just made the night so much fun! Definitely coming back!

Went for my sister’s 19th and it was overall a GREAT time! Music was overall really good! DJ had good energy! My only ‘downside’ would be the weird interactions we had with security right off the bat- said some weird comments about our ID. Besides that, a GREAT time, and I would for sure go again!

Toy box has always been the best club!! Last weekend, I went with my friend and both of us lost our phones and passport but THANK GOD, Izzy picked it up and kept it safe for us, she was so so sweet and really loved her energy!! Can’t wait to go back and party again (responsibly) :P

One of the better clubs I’ve been to. Been here twice and had a great time on both occasions. The music is banging, the vibe is awesome and most importantly, the crowd is well behaved and more classy than at other places,imo.

Factory fridays! expect a younger rowdy crowd. Wild enough to almost make your night an unpleasant one to dance comfortably. It's always best to attend special events at this club. Otherwise music is great.

Friendly staff and bouncer were super nice to us. It was sold out event! Super jam pack, bring yourself a fan because it can get super hot. Coat check is $3.50 and the line are very long. The drinks are over price. Water bottle is $6!

Ambience is good, the down part is of lighting that was hurting the eyes. We went with a large group, of almost 60 people and many of us had to bail out due to lighting. Acoustics were good for sure, so is the crowd.

This place is lit! Right from the amazing DJ to the lights flickering in tune with the awesome music. My other 3 friends and I had great fun. If you would like to see Toronto night club, start from the TOYBOX!

Everyone was very friendly, but the music was really bad. Not electricity at all. And the DJ loved to talk a lot, which completely killed the dancing mood.

The security guard asked for an additional $20 to drag it into their pocket, citing that I was wearing casual pants. Super poor guy isn’t it? ~~~~ More

The security was really nice! And saved us a few dollars by telling us that girls get in free on guest list! I would definitely recommend coming here.
