  • "I went there stood in line for two hours and 40 mns just to talk to an officer and have my court date adjourned since i will be out of the country !! I am wondering why there are only 4 officers helping 500 or more people waiting in line !!!! Do we have to lose our work to stand in line in courts ?? We live in a productive society where things has to be done fast , why not using an electronic system to be able to chat with a court officer?? And have things done in time and facion , and by the way, left the court and found parking ticket on my windshield just because my payment was only for two hours!! My boss was not happy either "

"0 stars if I could, I got parking tickets which I never received and I did pay for parking on all the tickets but I payed them online and they were tied to my older vehicle, Honestly don't waste your time appealing anything once convicted they just want money , I appealed and explained my situation at lenght and I got a generic message saying I should pay and have been denied "

"So during covid, they have shut down in person services including disputing tickets on your account"

    "Absolutely horrendous service"

"This is the worst place ever, three experience with them, totally waste time"

Let us fix this system let us not be outdated and inefficient! We all should speak out for better Canada.

0 stars if I could, I got parking tickets which I never received and I did pay for parking on all the tickets but I payed them online and they were tied to my older vehicle, Honestly don't waste your time appealing anything once convicted they just want money , I appealed and explained my situation at lenght and I got a generic message saying I should pay and have been denied . I'm certain no one reads the emailed forms and these bylaws just exist to make the common folks lives harder. It's cool I will pay the almost 1k in parking tickets and survive on ramen and saliva for the rest of the month. Lame

So during covid, they have shut down in person services including disputing tickets on your account. There is a fine from over a year ago I was not aware of that I cannot dispute and is restricting me from obtaining my drivers license to return to work. How is this not a denial of legal representation in the process of law? To enforce fines that cannot be disputed while impacting that persons livelihood? This court should make a choice to enforce restrictions and open the court or close the court and drop restrictions on drivers that are denied legal representation.

Absolutely horrendous service. Other people's tickets are being charged to me and I cannot even talk to a real person to resolve this. I have called dozens and dozens of times trying to fix this issue. I am either immediately disconnected or get left on hold for hours. The longest time I spent on hold was 8.5 hours until I hung up because the court closed. I have emailed looking for a resolution with no response. Am I expected to pay someone else's ticket because it's impossible to reach a staff member?!

This is the worst place ever, three experience with them, totally waste time. If you ever need to go there, pay the ticket and learn a lesson. The staff has really poor attitude. They told you to be there at the exact time and date but then they asked us to wait more than half day just to hear their humiliation. I don't feel guilty for my ticket. Why would I bow them, they are not better than me. All they want is money, generating cash, I would never pay a penny to them, RUBBER!!!!

Toby is unwilling to his job. Toby must think as a supervisor (self stated) that he is above any work. Toby made threats as to over charging if he had to look anything up. As a representative of the court Toby could possibly use extensive training on how to be more personable and not be so aggressive with the people that want to pay their fines. Toby should not be attempting to help as Toby is not a competent person when it comes to helping members of the public.

It ridiculous that they're only open from 8:15 to 4:00 Monday to Friday. Students dont get leniancy to skip class (and I have it straight 8:30 to 4:30) to come fight tickets that the parking bylaws even admit are BS (not displaying registration despite being registered). Could have just run my plates instead of giving me this bs ticket and not giving me the chance to show that online and not giving any way to actually appear. Thanks guys

I think a lot of people don't understand the process and give this place such bad reviews. Come to explain your case before your trial date to get a reduced demerit and/or fee reduction. If you agree to the new rates you can pay and go home happy (if not, setup your court appearance I assume). Everyone is very nice, courteous, and the line moves pretty fast but unfortunately there are just a lot of people.

I had a company fight a ticket I received due to mechanical issues with my truck (the police officer wasn't very professional on that one) and they never told me if I use the original ticket number or not to pay, trying to get ahold of traffic courts like I was told by the registry is a joke ….. does anyone even work here for answering the phones? Don't waste your time trying to call that's for sure

  • Jarrett Stewart

*No Reductions* Paid $38 for a parking pass to go and resolve a ticket, pay it yes, just clear the demerits. Walked in and the first lady we see says no reductions at this time, heres a slip of paper with an email address if you want any help. Useless staff and no empathy for people trying to ease strain during times of unpredictable work and income. Great job calgary courts.

  • Sarah Meyer

What a garbage system. Such a joke. Communication is horrible! Customer service is appalling. Waste of money and time dealing with these idiots. Even after reaching Claire Selby, the supervisor, I'm still waiting for the courts and the registries to get on the same page, just a few days before the date I have to pay my ticket by. I can't believe that these people have a job.

  • Lynn Harrington

Went with a friend to plead not guilty. Line up way too long. Ridiculous. Plus the violation ticket says it's a trial date. It isn't. She sent in not guilty plea by mail. Also the violation ticket says you must appear for your 'trial' on a certain date and you can go early. But it does not explain that. The violation ticket needs to be re-worded.

  • Gena Nicole

Don’t waste your time, they don’t let you fight your tickets despite the website saying you can call or email to do so. I called waited on hold for the lady to tell me to just write an email. Wrote the email for them to completely disregard everything I said, to tell me they aren’t accepting reductions right now...

  • Patrick Mulligan

Came to see about getting a reduction. Shortly after entering the line I was asked by an attendant about what I was there for and told I could see a prosecutor. When I got to Justice they told I could not as I did not have right ticket. 30 minutes could have been saved if the attendant had informed at the start.

  • Bing Zhang

Horrible front line service. Spoke to a woman and i don't know why but she was not nice at all. I then waited again for a long time, then told to come back another date, why does it say to appear on the date on the ticket!? I took bus here, but heard others in the line up complain about paying for parking.

  • Gagandeep Khosa

I was under the impression that I can explain the reasons for why the incident happened. On the date and time when I had to appear in court. But there was no one to listen to me. Rather I was told to come on another date if I would like to do that. We can not give up work twice for same reason.

  • Hayley Docken

Never open, no info on their website about not being open, drove all the way downtown and paid for parking for my court date just to find out they're closed indefinitely. They never return emails, never answer their calls-on hold for hours. If I could.give 0 stars I would. Just awful

  • Richard Cheese

I called on multiple land lines for 5 hours simultaneously at 8:15 am when they open and even tried different options. It's a con ! No one answers the phones at all. They give you this number to dispute, they know you will have to pay either way! This is our system

  • Zaid Abdul

Apparently they like to home at 11am when it's nice and sunny out, now I have ask for an extension on my traffic ticket even though it says between 9:00am and 3:30pm, must be nice to have salary pay from the city and able to leave at 11am if you feel like it.

  • Adam Zhou

i am not gona edit a paragrph on how this business modeling doesnt work. The Alberta drivers hand book was established 2010. But all veichles are travelling on the road. FORD made veichle that has a concept built in it.

  • Danial sappani

Useless system in place no one answers phone or talk to . Just blame covid for everything.Taking millions from citizens from fines every year and can not even offer any kid of service! The system is a total failure!!!!!

  • Ame Lgd

The staff and internship students here are very nice and patient; but those procurator sitting in the office are so freaking rude and uncivilized. Feeling sorry tax payer's money wasted on those uneducated people.

  • Josh L

These people are theives. The city designs it’s laws to steal money from innocent citizens then their extremely as they steal from you I hope this bad review brings them down a peg. Corrupt officials

  • Paula

Nobody likes traffic court, but if your gonna go, try and avoid Mondays, Fridays, or lunchtime if you don’t want to wait in a huge line. The earlier you go .. the better. Good luck!

  • sanjit patel

This place is a joke. Public servants with unbelievable arrogance and total lack of respect to common folk. It is a perfect example of city bureaucracy and cash grabbing machine.

  • Chris McCaffery

Its pretty pathetic 30 people sitting waiting in the waiting room to see the justice and only one person working and that was a cashier room 5 .I'm absolutely disgusted

  • Adriano Riley

Line was long, but the dude who I paid my ticket with was fast. Took the ticket, then the money, and done. Don't know why the wait was so long.

  • Leila Asgharpour

This place is ridiculous. They force people to go there and pay them for no reason so they can make money and pay to their miserable employees.

  • Ryan

Sick people work here. They do their best to be sociopathic. They create even more crime by criminalizing poverty.

  • Keziah

Have been on hold almost 4 hours now. the last dozen times I called I wasn't even connected. Atrocious service

  • Nat Shillingford

This isn't even real, there's no one answering the phones, just puts you on hold until you decide to hang up

  • Perry Yu

The worst place ever . Pay your tickets and don’t try to settle it. Waste of time and money for parking

  • Daren Schmaus

Should not be down town. Should be a drive thro in 4 corners of the city.

  • Scott Cheung

Waste of time and money. The whole process could be a lot more efficient

  • Msalam Laham

Answer the phone! I 've been on hold for 2 hours! this is unacceptable!
