The School: I've been a Martial Artist since 94 in Karate and later Kung Fu. This place is the real deal. Morne is not only well versed in practical martial arts you can use in the street, but his Form is excellent. This school is big on actual self-defense and actual real-life fighting. You won't find "fat sensei syndrome" here. These guys live their message and are all fighting fit. Love training here. The Facilities: Excellent, well maintained, and clean. I have had the opportunity to train at many martial arts training facilities, with many diverse coaches and trainers. But combat couching is far above the rest. From day one you can tell things are different from the couch and his relationship with the members to the atmosphere in the gym. I love training at combat couching. Morne Swanepoel has one of the best gyms. His classes are detailed and broken down into simple science for the beginner to understand. The facilities and equipment are undoubtedly on par with the best gyms in the world. They have small numbers in their class as compared to gyms of similar nature, which allows the Coaches to zone in on each student and correct and improve each students technique. There's a warm and welcoming atmosphere in the gym and the term leave your ego at the door lives true in this gym.

This place is Sooooooo cool that starting 22 June 2018 my son will spend school holidays here.
