Rented a sweet Trek from Brian while visiting from out of town, as I try to do every city I visit. It's a great way to see the area up close, and an opportunity to tryout a different bike from what you normally ride, with quality components you may not have on your own bike. Brian made sure I had all the necessary safety equipment, but he went above the call by providing a very high-end, expensive Bontrager Circuit WaveCel helmet for me to use, not some cheap worn out helmet off the shelf. He then fitted the helmet with high quality lights fore and aft - I have had to bring my own bike lights at most rental places - and made sure the helmet fit correctly. The bike itself wasn't some old, heavily used bike the shop obtained in a trade. This bad boy had been cleaned and gleamed almost brand new. "Nice bike!" is what I got on the trail. He also gave me my choice of pedals, which again, most places don't do, set the seat height, showed me how to operate the eTap shifters, and offered advice on trails and routes. Thanks, Brian! Trek Bicycle Portland Westmoreland is the kind of bike shop that takes pride in their customer service and is eager to provide their clients with the best experience possible. Highly recommended.

I literally spend $320.00 on a tune up and parts there. The bike cost $400.00. When I brought the bike back because they didn't fix the original problem and was upset, rightfully, one of their "best" techs took a hammer and broke my frame to the point it snapped the next day, and I pieced it all together after giving it some thought. I reported that employee to the store manager and the chain owner, and they'll never see my business again. This occurred after about sixth months of taking my bike there for repairs. I paid them to rip me off, literally? Shady. The tech that broke my bike, because I guess he felt justified in breaking it, since I was upset they didn't fix what I originally brought it in for, most likely still works there. It's a risk taking your bike there for repairs, where they will act out or vengeful spite, which actually isn't justified, because the customer is supposed to always be right, and in this case I definitely was. The total loss of taking my bike there was $320.00 for initial repairs and parts, + $400.00 for a new bike, equaling $720.00 out of pocket. Which is absurd and not right. This location was warned about Gang Stalking before they destroyed one of my old bikes.

Best and most organized bicycle shop in town. There likely is a location near you. All the folks there are friendly and want to help you find the proper bike or gear that will serve you well. I am impressed with the care everyone at Bike Gallery shows. Most remember me when I stop in the store and always make sure I'm attended to and have the info I need to make a good decision toward my bicycle needs. As far as product choices - you have a good cross section of goods. Trek is second to none and has something for everyone, I believe. The accessories all are top quality as well. All your shop locations are organized with room to check things out and not be cramped which I appreciate. The folks I remember talking to the most and stand out are: Brian, David, Jacob and Andrew in West Moreland. I get to some of the other shops around town less frequently, but everyone is great to work with.Keep up the good work. Our two newest bikes are just one year old and serving us very well. Thanks everyone for assisting in our choice of bikes!

I needed to change out the rear tire on my road bike. I have been riding for nearly 3 decades and like to think I'm pretty capable as far as minor repairs. I was able to get the rim/tire/tube off the rear dropout and change the tire out for a new one, remount and seat the tube. I came into the shop because for some reason I could not remount the rim on the rear dropout (damn!). One of your tech guys "Sterling" mounted it in like 2 seconds (well, maybe a bit longer)!! He gave me some helpful advice, sent me on my way and I was back on my bike that afternoon. There are 4 road bikes in our household; a Ridley, an Orbea, a Pinarello, and of course a Trek. We always take them to Westmoreland bike shop for everyday service or major overhauls because the staff are knowledgeable, straight forward and best of all laid back and friendly. All 4 bikes have been in the shop for service, both minor and major. Westmoreland is our "go to" for help with bike issues. Thanks guys! And thanks, Sterling!

The team was professional, kind, and welcoming. Your customer service was out of this world! I am an avid cyclist and have been to many bike shops. To be candid, it is rarely a positive experience! At most shops, I feel like I am being "talked down to" by the mechanics. At Westmoreland, that was not the case whatsoever. What I appreciated was the team answered my questions, gave me tips and tricks, and were 100% transparent on any additional expenses. In addition, the team gave me a great breakdown of options (high-cost, economic options, etc.). I have had times where I am at a shop and I feel like I am constantly being sold to. At Westmoreland, the team simply wanted to get me back on my bike rather than focused on more sales. However, I get it! You're a business and need to sell more; but you are doing it the right way. I will be coming back to Westmoreland and I will recommend to my friends this is the shop to go to. Next time I see you all, I owe you a beer!

Brian was absolutely wonderful. I was a little upset cause there was a bike (Verve 2, lowstep)a lady put on hold and she was supposed to pick it up by closing on Saturday but she didn't get there and called and asked them to hold it and they said they would, which I didn't think was fair but in the end I called and spoke to Sterling and he said they got in a small Blue/neon yellow Verve 3 non low step so he was sweet enough to hold it for me to get there. I got there the same day I put it on hold and really fell in love with it. They put it together, set it up especially for me and let me ride it before I purchased it. Brian made me feel good about my purchase and pretty much like family. He suggested some other things for it but wasn't pushy which was nice. All the guys that were working there today Sunday May 2nd were fantastic. I am very grateful for their wonderful service. Thank you so much it made my Mother's Day ( even if it's a week early).

The best bike maintenance shop we've ever experienced. Trek Westmoreland has earned my trust over and over again. We have a combination of standard road bikes, e-bikes, and cargo bikes, and we use them for bike commuting DAILY. We've used Trek Westmoreland for repairs and tune ups for years. I've taken my bike in after a serious crash with a LOT of damage to my bike, when people said the bike may need to be completely scrapped, and they were able to restore it completely. There have been times we've taken our bike in for a problem, and they fixed the problem immediately as we've spoken, then DIDN'T CHARGE US because the fix was so simple! Where else do you ever see that level of honesty and professionalism? They'll continue to be our go-to repair and maintence shop for any problem that comes up with our bikes.

A great place to have your bike serviced or buy a new bicycle. I have been a customer of the store for severals and have always been impressed by the staff, who go the extra mile to provide the service that you expect at a Trek Bicycle Store. Working with the team on a recent project, it was an enjoyable an rewarding experience. The store manager (Sterling) leads a great team of motivated people, who make things happen. A special callout to Shawn in the workshop who was amazing to work with and provide expert advice and knowledge. Also the two Brians who are friendly and help locate hard to find parts or provide advice on parts and accessories. It's definitely my favorite place to shop! Everyone in the store is passionate about bikes and knowledgeable. A great place to shop.

  • Scott Petersen

The service team was able to assist in an insurance claim in a extremely fast manner, and then help work through options involving product availability and costs to repair the bike. I felt they provided first class service not just in the repairs, timeline and completion but also in taking care of the person during a difficult situation with the claim. They constantly provided updates and worked hard to get the bike back to riding condition as soon as possible despite obstacles in the supply chain. It is this level of service and consumer care that leads to long term commitment from a customer - combine that with top tier bikes from Trek and it will be hard to pull this customer away for the team at Sellwood trek.

Sterling and his staff were amazing to work with. From the minute I walked into the bike shop it looked clean, had plenty of inventory and the staff greeted me as I first entered to see if they could help me. I ended up buying a bike that had to be special ordered because of model and color. It was supposed to take months to get the bike but was pleasantly surprised when I got a call from Brian the salesperson that my bike was already in. Evidently Sterling was able to find the exact bike i was looking for at another Trek shop and was able to get it transferred. Going over and above versus what I had expected. thanks for the great service and products. I am already enjoying my new road bike.

I bought an Electra Townie Go 8D from your Westmoreland store. Nathan was my salesman. He was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and courteous. I returned to the store later to buy a Kryptonite lock and he was helpful again. My experience with Bike Gallery has always been exceptional. Since I ordered a color that wasn't in stock, it took 1 week to arrive at the store. I was promptly notified and much to my delight, Nathan informed me that the price had come down by $300 which was refunded to me. Also, I wanted a suspension system and mirror and bell installed from my old bike. The service department did this free of charge.I highly recommend this local Portland business.

  • Emily Moothart

Fantastic experience here, buying a birthday bicycle for my 10 year old. Brian Combs spoke directly to my son without any condescension, while also making sure we parents had the information we needed. We were able to take two bikes for test rides a couple of blocks away, which allowed my son to make a thoroughly informed decision. The price was fair, and more than fair since they also offer a Trek bike trade in if your previous kids’ bike was purchased there within the past three years. This was the third bike shop we walked through today, and I’m so glad we kept looking because Brian really made the whole experience a pleasure.

  • Andrew Elder

Fantastic Staff and a welcoming environment.Came in on an impromptu visit when my plastic pedal broke on my MTB (Trek Cobia for those who care). Eric and the rest of the staff were eager to help with recommendations and installation. Not only that but I've been to other bike shops and there's often an heir of superiority when talking to a weekend warrior like myself but the entire staff was happy to chat about options, future bike purchases, products goods/bads, etc. Definitely a great experience. While the prices seem to be a bit higher than elsewhere the staff make it worth the extra expense. 10/10 and will be back.

  • Ann Howell

I had a very nice experience shopping for an e-bike. Not only were there three price points of product available, but the accessories were overwhelming! So much fun, so many colors available and so many add-ons to consider. Both "Brians" were helpful and friendly and smart. And, I'm invited back for a check-up in a month and in a year, and their service center is always available to me in the future, I feel like family. I had a great experience and have already ridden my new bike more in the three days than I've owned it than the bike I need to get rid of in the past four years. Thanks for the fun and the product.

  • Zeb Yaklich

I've always been a single track rider so getting into a townie was a bit of a different style of riding for me. I wanted a fun cruiser for Sunriver and the staff at the Bike Gallery in Sellwood were terrific in helping me chose my new steed! Truly a fun experience and they were incredibly helpful in getting me some accessories that fit the bikes look even though we had to do some online searching and ordering. So many compliments in Sunriver on one of the coolest doughnut getters you could buy! Thank you to the Bike Gallery staff for all of your assistance and great pricing on year end clearance almost 50% off.

  • Laura Thomas

This review is long overdue, I love the Bike Gallery! First, they sold me a great bike, and later recovered it for me after it got stolen. The employees are always friendly and offer good advice. The mechanics are excellent and prices are fair. They stock a strong selection of accessories, so I can find anything I need with a quick trip in. I really like the apparel selection, as they have a good mix of options for women and carry a variety of sizes. Size small might be common, but this is my go to place for new jackets/tights/shorts, as I always have more than one option to choose from.

  • Christopher Loverich

Came in to get kickstands sized and installed and one of our two bikes serviced (loose gears, etc). They were friendly and helpful (helped me walk the bikes in so I didn't have to leave one outside unattended). Able to quote me prices and alternatives, DIY vs getting it serviced there, etc. Not pushy at all, very professional. Shop as such is nice. Its all Trek and in general on the pricier side (for this casual biker), but service was roughly the same as I've seen elsewhere. I left the bikes to be serviced in next few days, but they ended up knocking it out in the next hour (wow).

  • Peg B

We live 2.5 hours away and don't have a Trek store near us, but we come to Portland often. We visited this shop and had such a great experience. Brian is extremely knowledgeable and he took his time with us, even though our visit lasted well past closing time (apologies to Mrs. Brian). And the service team stayed late, too, to get our new bikes ready so that we could take them home the same evening. Everyone we spoke with - and I think we spoke with every employee in the store - was incredibly nice and helpful. This is the Trek store you want to visit if you're in Portland.

  • Faith Donnally

I was so impressed by the service I received at this shop! I was greeted immediately as soon as I walked in and the person at the service counter in the back was able to start working on my bike right away. One of the employees working at the front offered me a drink and we had a nice chat while I was waiting. When my bike was repaired I was offered guidance on the best way to ride it while I waited for another part to come in. Everyone at the front was so kind and wished me a great day. This was a five star experience, thank you to the great staff at Trek Westmoreland!

  • Dean Hanel

Its all about customer service. I live in the neighborhood, I have a bike wrenching background. I have been going to that store since it opened and Im always greeted and helped promptly. The employees there for the most part have always been very perceptive and read the room well as to my level of understanding and needs. Over the years I have purchased a number of bikes there, I have only just recently started to rely on the bike shop to service some of them and I have been pleased. Still a bit of sticker shock, but I get it.

  • Scott Faucett

My wife and son ordered $20 cruiser handle bars from this store. They never got them. Over a month and a half of waiting for nothing. The staff was 100% incompetent... They ended up returning the money and still no handle bars leaving a kid bicycleless for ridding to school.. We will never shop at this location again and I suggest others do the same. 100% the worst expiriance at a bike shop ever. How hard is it to order handle bars ? Why bother with brick and mortar stores when you can order it yourself from Amazon..

  • Allen Gumm

Had a fantastic experience working with Trevor and Sterling yesterday. I inherited a nice road bike that I had questions about the sizing and fit and what options I had available to me to improve the fit. From initial time answering some questions on the phone to working with me in person in the store with the bike, I felt like I received excellent support and advice and everything was completely without pressure to buy anything. I will definitely be back and have found my home base for my biking needs. Thank you!

  • Adam Platt-Hepworth

I had a front hydraulic brake failure when a line started leaking. I brought the bike in and Nick worked on it immediately. I was super impressed. I could see the workshop was busy, but Nick could see that I needed to get riding and had an unsafe bike. It took him 20 minutes to fix it and the fee for service was fair and reasonable. He then found the correct size of BB that I've been trying to find in various shops, so I killed two birds with one stone. Really appreciated it.

  • Kieran Geehan

Sterling was OUTSTANDING. The customer service I receive every time I step foot in Bike Gallery is awesome, but Sterling went out of his way to address my needs, concerns and questions. He did an outstanding job with my bike and trouble shooting the issues with my Di2 and Dfly sensor. Everyone I dealt with was knowledgeable and professional and customer oriented. I seriously can’t say enough about the high quality of employees you hire and the service I receive. A++++

  • Adrian Klein

I feel like there are always knowledgeable staff taking the time to help you out. This week proved true again. I had a brake issue and they resolved it pretty quickly (~10 min of work). They charged me only $10 rather than the normal full cost for fixing brakes because it was able to be fixed pretty quick. Other companies with fixed rates could take note of this, adjusting pricing as needed to balance out what is fair for the time and effort involved.

  • Robert Bestor

I had a most excellent experience! Sean was informative and went above and beyond in helping me with fit and explaining the features of my new bike and the E Tube app. Brian and Sterling made sure I had everything I needed in the way of accessories and did a great job explaining the new technology I'd be working with. And the whole staff seemed to be just as excited about my new bike as I am. Very fine customer service from top to bottom. Thanks!!!!

  • Kathy McCormick

I just bought my Trek bike (from a store in Sacramento) in February 2023 and the gears were slipping. I expected days before I would have my bike returned but your service turn around in 30 minutes to tune up my gears was a pleasant surprise. Your technicians are top-notch and knowledgable. I have the utmost confidence in your store and your team and I have already highly recommended my friend and sister for their cycling needs.

  • Kate Mcfee

Nicest, most knowledgeable and communicative staff ever!!!! When you spend a ton of money on a bike - going to entitle snobby shops stink like funky cheese. This shop smells like roses Albert, Parker and crew stayed open after hours to help me with a bike issue while the “other” trek shop who screwed up my bike told me they couldn’t get me in to fix their mistake. I am now a lifetime customer at Westmoreland Trek!!!

  • Garrison Fox

Bought an FX 3 as a starter bike today. I hadn't ridden a bike in 15 years, but Jacob made it easy to find the right bike for me and to outfit it with the essential accessories. He didn't pressure me to purchase anything I didn't need and provided me with a bunch of resources to help me get started. Friendly and informative customer service. I'll be going back if and when I need anything.

  • Jessica Rothberg

Show room is clean and organized. Sales people are friendly, take the time to talk to you without being pushy, and seem pretty knowledgeable. The “test drive” procedure is painless and the Westmoreland neighborhood is nice for test riding. My only complaint is there is no way to test ride the bikes their web site lists as “available in warehouse” (but not in one of their stores).

  • Dana Kunz

This store has just the right amount of options as a novice bike rider. They have enough to make me feel like I have a choice in what I am buying for accessories, but not so many that it's overwhelming. Happy with my purchases and the staff here. Trevor was great in helping me find the right bike and didn't rush me at all - even when I could tell his shift was coming to an end!

  • Tim Ensign

Trevor and the whole team in the shop are just awesome! Bought a used Full Suspension a few months back that needed some work on the rear wheel/hub and also wanted to go from a 2x10 drivetrain to a 1x11. They communicated extremely well through the whole project and won me over as a loyal customer. Highly recommend for any repair work or upgrades you might be considering.

  • Eevee DeLioncourt

Both the customer service and selection of products are excellent at this location. I purchased a helmet and a U-lock; the sales associate took the time to explain the various products and together we found what worked best for my needs. They also made it super easy for me to schedule out my much needed tune-up. I highly appreciate this positive experience.

  • Jonathan Clayton

The service received at the Westmoreland (Sellwood) location has ALWAYS been above board in my opinion. I feel that we have always been treated like we own a share of the company, even though we don't. Keep treating customers fairly, they definitely will keep coming back. Thank you again for the great service and always with a smile !!

  • Maggie Benware

Wide range of bikes and supreme service and safety. We felt cared for and well-informed while in the shop! They have excellent COVID-19 safety protocols without compromising your experience. There is no browsing, so make sure to look at their website inventory before your trip, so you know what models you really want to see.

  • Micah Wolfe

I’ve been coming in to this shop since before it’s move from Woodstock and they are still super friendly and helpful. The crew here always go the extra mile to make sure everything is done well and I walk out happy. Can’t recommend enough coming to them to fix your bike issues or buy a new bike. They will take care of you.

  • Owen Duff

I shop here because the products offered are the same products used and trusted by the employees. Excellent realistic advice from actual cyclists with products that don’t break the bank and work as expected. I didn’t feel like anyone was trying to up sell me or push me in a direction, just helped make an informed decision.

  • Maria L

Geoff was excellent and took care of my bike right away! He made recommendations to fix the handle bars to adjust my posture, as well as getting some road tires instead of the mountain ones that it came with. I was able to bring it in in the morning and have it back within a few hours. I am really happy with the service!

  • Paula Fontenelle

We love to support local businesses and it's much easier when we find a place where we are treated with kindness. At Trek Bicycle, they were very nice, never pushed us to get something we didn't want, and they were knowledgeable about their products. I went back home on my bike and it was a perfect ride! :)

  • Scott Hutchins

Amazing customer service, you feel like a family member when you enter. The service department is so knowledgeable and fast…..and the sales department gets you pumped to ride bikes! Thanks for hiring great people... BTW Sean's service department are bike surgeons...They can fix anything! Awesome store!

  • Wade Wisler

Parker diagnosed the problem with my bike very quickly, ordered the necessary parts, then called me when they had come in. When I got busy and forgot about it, he called me again with a friendly reminder. I took the bike in, and he made the repair within an hour. Really appreciate the great service!

  • Jeff Kerr

These folks are great. They are super generous with spare parts and have hooked up me more than once with free parts that I needed. Also, they are just kind and thoughtful in how they interact with customers. They are using the old fashioned approach of earning customers loyalty. Great job!

  • Susan Milholland

Again Trekbikes of Sellwood saved me. Bolts had disappeared from bike rack and fender and I had visions of it all falling off mid intersection, but it didn’t. Now good as new and no more noise.Trekbikes st Sellwood Moreland is my go to for sure, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable …

  • Anna Winter Barlow

Lovely bike store. My boyfriend surprised me with a new bike for Xmas, and I was so happy it was from this wonderful location. Ryan and team are so helpful and informative, they steered me in the right direction with every purchase. Excited for the Bike Gallery to be my local bike guru!

  • Steve Wilson

Brian was incredible to work with. He bent over backward to fit my fiancé and I with the right bikes for us. He didn’t try to over sell us or push us into anything we didn’t want. The rest of the staff was also super friendly and helpful. I will 100% buy my next bike from this store.

  • Kathleen Mahoney Staub

I brought in a wheel on a Saturday afternoon that needed a spoke replaced; the shop was kind of backed up and I was hoping to go on a ride the next day. Mitch stayed after closing and fixed it and I was able to go for a ride the next morning. I really appreciate the employees there!

  • Donald Beckwith

Excellent service, very personable, (Trevor and Parker did work), great workmanship and reasonably priced too! I needed this bike to get fixed and run excellently to train on. They identified all defects and fixed them, along with installing additional amenities that I wanted...

  • Robert Heiney

The store is in a good location with some parking. The staff are very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. There is an excellent selection of bikes and gear at the store. I ordered a bike and it arrived when I was told it would be here. They set it up and it runs out perfectly.

  • Alex Di Franco

Trevor (T2) makes this bike store great. He was super knowledgeable and patient. Answered all my questions so I could understand and always had extra info to really help me learn about the bike I was looking at. Will be coming back for any info or product I need.

  • Kasi Whorley

All the staff made our 8 y/o’s birthday really really special! Brian was especially amazing and made sure the kiddo knew how to operate everything on the bike. You can tell he’s great with kids and knows how to get them to pay rapt attention. It was awesome!

Honest people with your best interest in mind. Came in with a flat tire and upon inspection they recommended I use my warranty at a specialized retailer for tire replacement. They could've charged me $70 but instead they gave helpful guidance.

Everything about my experience was perfect. Friendly, informative and patient staff. Took two test rides including one a bit far away (to test a good hill). They took the time to measure me and adjust the bikes. Super high quality bikes!

  • William Mullen

The service department at this shop is top notch. They know what they are doing, are not snobby, and do quick work. Prices are reasonable as well. I really like the automated notifications. It's like your favorite local bike shop 2.0.

  • Jocelyn Petrini

Husband and I took our bikes in expecting to drop them off for a tune-up and pick them up in a few days... They took care of both on the spot and gave us a good deal (and apologized for the wait lol). Can't ask for better service.

  • Bernie Devins

Thank you for the quick turnaround on my wheels repair. I got in an afternoon ride and the tires and wheels felt great. I appreciate Trevor for again helping me with another quality repair and professional advice on the best fix.

Trevor was great to work with. My bottom bracket was creaking and I wanted to bounce some ideas off him before I replaced it. He was very knowledgeable and helped me know my best course of action.

  • Greg Everton

The people here are great, don't make you wait, not even hesitate. Trek is fantastic, not pragmatic, much better than listening to the Plazmatics ( 1980's ? Wendy O Williams ? Ok, never mind).

  • Khaliyah Williams-Rodriguez
