Today the 18th, November travelled from Kigali to Kampala using Trinity ,UAV 917P and it was the worst experience! Expecting the bus to be express with a few stops for refreshments or bathroom,it was stopping at almost everywhere that had a human standing by the roadside.This made the trip way too long! I would never advise anyone with a connection to any where by any means to use it. You can miss the connection. The 10 people that check receipts at every step because they treat the bus as a town service car,are beyond arrogant. They are so rude! They could not tell a lady where they were parking in Kampala! Who does that in this Era and moreover Africa where not everyone is with a smartphone or knows how to use Google! They use only kinyarwanda as if everyone is from Rwanda! The customs was holding a white man's bag because it was locked ,and they kept saying the same words in the same language! It was only when he asked a neighbour what they were talking about and after the neighbour interpreted,he peeped through the window and it was only his bag left at the check point! On him disembarking the bus,they just laughed at him! That was so unprofessional! Treat your people how to take care of customers and their properties. They need refresher courses.The fact that it is "Transport", there are many people from all over the world that speak all kinds of languages. Atleast speak, Kiswahili and English that even a tourist can connect with. Truthfully,I hate Trinity bus and it's Services This is my first and last time to use it.

There is a restaurant at the bus terminal. Trinity Bus Company being a big transport provider to different destinations like Juba and Kigali, should ensure they have a more comfortable waiting lounge for passengers that also has charging ports. The one that is available the sun makes it so uncomfortable to seat there coz it is direct and very hot. I would also suggest they stop playing the loud music at the terminal or if they do they get better music system and play Music that is good to our ears than that loud one they were playing. They also need to announce which bus is leaving next and what plate number should passengers look out for to make the boarding process smooth. Finally Trinity Express should stop be honest. I paid a ticket for 80k ugx and at boarding I was given another one with a total different amount. As if that was not enough they forced me to do a Covid test for 70k despite telling them I had a Covid Vaccination certificate. The bus didn't have charging ports, seats couldn't recline, very short leg room. I expected at 80k ugx I would have gotten better service coz at Modern Coast the seats are 60k and you get a good service only that there was no bus on my preferred day of travel.

We opted to bus it from Kampala to Kigali as we were told that the trip takes 9 hours including clearing the land border crossing between Uganda and Rwanda as this is an express service with minimal stops. However, in reality the trip is actually 11 to 12 hours in total that includes multiple unscheduled stops for many reasons that are not necessary, with most of them is to get vendors on board to sell food and drinks. That day our bus left 1 hour late, ending up leaving at 10 am. The moment the driver left the gate he stopped at the gas station next door to fill up gas and check the tire pressure. In brief, if you want to take the bus here are few things to be aware of; 1. Estimate a 12 hour journey 2. bus condition is barely passable from a safety perspective, interior and exterior condition and cleanliness 3. OK for comfort 4. Too many stops 5. Passengers have the habit of throwing their garbage on the bus floors, just disgusting 6. The positive 2 things are a) the price of land crossing vs airfare, granted you get to your destination safe. b) Border crossing is easy. I suspect that the standard is same for all bus companies, but not sure.

In nairobi too crowded outside,bus waiting room inside is good. Your laggguage are safe,trinity bus is comfortable and the drivers are safe driver, First day of the trip after rwanda opened its boarder with Uganda due to COVID-19 protocols and restrictions Boarder post clearing at rusumo took us 4 hrs this all due to high traffic with COVID-19 19 checking up. Nice east africa music on the bus ride but i suggest different one to be played than few and repeated over and over. Bust stop in kampala is good. I like the ride i would recommend this Nairobi, kampala - kigali! Also bus's seat belts are working very good and thanks for the experience of a life time

Good pro drivers but conduct who doesn't speak any foreign languages that's a shame & zero respect to costumes at border they didn't help pregnant women + Older people too with heavy bags by offloading them they bags for checking at borders & packing them back after check up.so I took the charge at our Rwandan border yesterday check the Camera records well..we also understand past COVID-19 business loss but we need good services also with excellent bus chairs seating position & sleeping position working properly and last long distance bus needs cartains please..I use Trinity to support the idea of by buy Rwanda build Rwanda as a diaspora.

Volcano Express is one among the most outstanding and loyal transport companies in Rwanda. Their management and drivers are well trained, educated and enlightened on good road usage. They are genuine and cautious whenever they're on duty, and they respect and give attention to passenger needs at all times. Their buses are clean and well maintained with guarantee for comfort and customer satisfaction. My comments is coming from my first hand experience with the company. I've travelled with Volcano Express from Kigali to Kanyaru on whilst travelling to Bujumbura in Burundi.

I DON'T RECOMMEND ANYONE TO USE TRINITY BUSES. We paid our fares nicely going to Busia,they gave us the receipt they told us to wait for the bus at 11pm which was ok. What disappoints the bus didn't come the whole cold night until morning. And what makes it worth they told us to wait for the next bus of the next night.If one of your buses gets a problem why don't you bring another bus to take the paid passengers instead of 36hours waiting for the next bus.IF YOU WANT TO SPEND TWO SLEEPLESS NIGHTS WAITING FOR THE BUS USE TRINITY.Thank you

I booked the 1:00 am bus to go to Kabale but the bus came late,bit is now 1:25 am and we are still not moving, time keeping really not good and the bus is dirty, the seats even have dirty brown marks, I know they have some clean buses with leather seats because I have used one before but this one is really dirty. Trinity bus company please work on that, you rather increase the charges but with clean seats. Thank you.

I have never used an incompetent bus to Kampala. Time keeping zero. Bus is supposed to leave at 8pm and at 10pm we are still in town, professionalism zero, a lot of Chaos in and outside. With the fuel situation, I was hoping that they could get fuel before traveling time, but at past 10pm, we are still queueing for fuel. Small seats, most of which cannot even recline. Just an awful experience.

The bus departed on time, was super comfortable but the aisle was filled with all our luggages because they had packed the luggage space under the bus full of cargo. Staff are polite and kind though. It was a smooth trip for me from Kampala to Kigali. Buses seem relatively new but some seat recliners didn't work. Mine worked but the lady seated behind me wasn't happy hers didn't.

Good and comfortable bus. However some seats can't be adjusted due to some mechanical problem. Please work on such seats. Another thing is that someone who led us in prayer used only one language(kinyarwanda) yet some of us could not understand. I suggest that atleast English and Kiswahili should be used since these two languages cut across.

The bus i took to Kigali is in general good condition but the seating is quite tight and there is nowhere for you luggage as it’s totally over packed. The drivers are normally helpful on where to go for the immigration procedures. It’s around $10 from Kampala to Kigali but make sure to buy your ticket the day before as it get packed.

As transport of in and out the country is still at a standstill due to closure of our boders as uphill the struggle of Corona virus, Trinity buses are not in operation till further notice .But trucks the carries language are operating which has enbled us Trinity customers to send our manchandise to varrius destinations.

As a frequent traveler on this route I find that Trinity is a reliable company. I've never understood why it's cheaper from the Rwanda side rather from Uganda on the same route, I suppose price regulation works! Considering the traffic of people there it would help to have a better waiting place with better chairs.

The experience was not good because i was supposed to stop at elegu,but the people who packed my items put them deep in the middle of other luggage going to juba,and i was not able to get my items.this costed me alot of money since i had to wait the return route from juba to get my things after paying extra money

Well organised bus service that leaves on time. I took the 9am bus from Kampala to Kigali and it was a good experience. On the way back however, with the same bus company, the driver kept stopping to pick extra people up and drop them off, which I'm sure is not allowed, and added at least 40 mins to our journey.

The receptionist's are cute, however they can be rude or inattentive sometimes and make you feel they doing you a really big favour to accept your money. I think some training in professionalism would greatly improve their service considering they already quite appealing.

The terminal is clean. Quite and peaceful with car park unlike other bus terminals. At the teller, there is a very kind. Friendly lady called Deborah kamba. She helped me with my booking. We really need more people like her and her kind. Very great person

Charged more 4 a ticket from musanze Rwanda 2 Kampala by trinity staff. When I got 2 kisoro trinity office issued me a ticket with less than I had paid and gave me the worst seat even after paying more than what other passengers paid for 4 the journey.

The Kigali station is conveniently located in a main staging area for other busses, taxis, and private transport. There is also a couple forex offices there. Totally different than in Kampala where the bus station is isolated from everything else.

I love Trinity bus for their outstanding service rendered to it's clients. It's now twice that I have sent items using their bus and above all, a gentleman called Muwuya Umar is such a guy who knows what a customer is. Congratulations to Mr. Umar

The seats in the bus are comfortable, "With business Laggage,please don't" the amount charged is way high.Maybe you will have an experience you won't like. Carry your own power bank just incase the USB charging points weren't working.

There is nobody to guide us, though there are speakers but they are silent!!! The bus number plate is not displayed on the receipt The interior of is good and departure time kept to the dot really pleased me keep it up …

Best bus service in Rwanda, Kampala and Kenya. I tried Modern and Jaguar also and they were pretty bad... Trinity is way more organized, secure and clean. The seats might not be as comfy as modern but the rest is better!

Very organized and secured bus agency, by GOD'S Grace. The best part of it all is that their buses are more luxurious compared to the buses of other bus agencies like Mash Poa, though with smaller seats.

I took a bus of this company in February 2020 from Kampala to Kigali. Comfortable buses, good ride. Only one thing: windows in a bus all the time opens and you should close them again and again.

The Trinity Buses offer the best transportation services from Kampala, Uganda to the bordering countries. This place is relatively small sized but busy during ticket selling hours.

Way too many stops to pick up people along the way turning a 9 hour drive into 15 hours. The bus was dirty and I saw the driver speaking on the phone on more than one occasion.

This is a bus terminal to Rwanda. Thry have a good restaurant for the lower class citizens. If you get broke. Just go and eat. Around are cheap but good hotels too.

Trinity bus was my favorite travel means of transport in Uganda and Rwanda before covid 19 intercepted their service delivery. they were always neat and punctual.

I am gonna give this place a five-star just because of the store-keeper there whose name is Ayamba. That guy is very nice, patient and very cooperative.
