I’ve been trying to find the right Lutheran Church and this was not it. I can’t imagine what it would have been like for someone who hasn’t been to a church in a long while, or ever, and then came to this one. The pastor’s sermon seemed very passive aggressive. I don’t know the whole story of what happened, but from what I can tell there was some corruption on the administration side? Very odd to talk about that during the service. Very off putting. Just give me my law and gospel please.

I'm not sure why the reviews on here are not all stellar. Our pumpkin is one and has attended this school for 4 months. She started out as a Monkey and has recently transitioned to the Giraffe class. The teachers are loving and attentive and she enjoys her time here. The school is a safe, warm and caring environment. If you are considering Trinity as an option, please don't let some of the older posts scare you!

Senior Pastor Michael Dorhn preceded and guest Pastor Charles Blanco gave a fantastic Christmas message and we loved the props. Lol. This church is a historic landmark and has one of the most beautiful organs in this city, which made the experience really special. Happy Birthday Pastor (angel) Donald Black 88 today. , And Merry ⛄ Christ mas to all.

Trinity Downtown has spent considerable time and money lobbying against a safe Houston Avenue. My friend James was on a bicycle on that street and was recently killed by a reckless driver just a few steps from the church entrance. It is deeply saddening and un Christ-like that they would prioritize saving commuters a few seconds over saving lives.

Stopped for 3 minutes to comfort our crying, 5 week old infant. Security guard was insistent we repark because we were over the line. Which we could not due as she was out of the carseat. He stood and stared at us until we left. There were plenty of empty spots. Didn't offer help. Was saddened that this is the behavior of a church employee.

I absolutely love going to Trinity Downtown. My family and I have been coming here for many years in an effort to learn more about God. If you are looking for a place to worship the Lord, the this amazing Houston church is the right place to go! Everybody is so warm and caring, it feels like home away from home!

This church is simply spectacular! If your looking for a place to feel welcomed and expand your spiritual experience, you need not look any further. There is something for everyone here. With over 57 Outreach Programs, there is a place for you at Trinity Lutheran Church; young, Elderly or in between.

My wife and I love this school and early center. She loves Mrs. Schneider who has been there for a very long time. She is great with the students and is very patient. Mrs. Vivian is awesome too! she truly loves her students and teaches them new things every day. Thank you Trinity Lutheran

This is a great church. The pastor, staff and the people are great and friendly. We love coming her on Sundays with the family. This is also A wonderful place for weddings.

You won’t find a better group of people! Everyone is so extremely welcoming and kind. I suggest you check out their Saturday “Satellite Service”!

We've been taking our infant daughter there for a couple of weeks. The staff is friendly, professional, and seems to truly care for our daughter

We have our Houston Symphony Chorus rehearsals here on Tuesday evenings. It is a beautiful church with a lot of history.
