I will NOT EVER shop Twin Liquors; and I promise that I will NOT EVER spend 1 cent in their stores. Charles lost a customer and sale for life with Twin Liquors. Terrible Service, Lazy staff, Just a mess! So, I go during my limited lunch break to pick up a few gift boxes (Christmas Presents). I have already been waiting in a line for 10 minutes. It's my turn next, the second cashier stops checking out people, starts making ribbons; and I am waiting for the only cashier. Well, the customer he is helping needs help with her order outside; and just leaves the cash register. Now I am standing waiting to get services; while there are two store employees working on ribbons. I asked them, where did the cashier go, I needed to check out (remember I am on lunch); then the other employee (Charles) says "we can refuse the right to serve". I looked at them both, said "no thank you" and left the store. I am not sure to whom you speak to like that, but not me, not today, not ever. I will NOT EVER shop Twin Liquors; and I promise that I will NOT EVER spend 1 cent in their stores.

I needed 2 gift baskets created for a charity auction and I needed it with little to no notice given. I called numerous liquor stores throughout the city and no one was willing to to help. I called Twin Liqours and while being initially denied a gentleman named Taurus grabbed the phone and offered to help. He patiently helped me select my liquors with some advice and then came to the crucial point of 2 men designing something and wrapping it with a heat gun while never having done it before. Taurus tried and restarted and did so with an old school "ode to times of yore". He was patient, kind, courteous and professional. He reminded me of how my grandparents raised us in the 70's. What the little small things can do to impress a customer and prove that Twin Liquors hires good upstanding, pleasant and affable human beings willing to please a customer with little in exchange except a "thank you" . What an atypical experience in a world of selfish pursuits. Thank you, Taurus

My favorite liquor store by far. Every employee I've encountered has been attentive, pleasant, and knowledgeable. They are happy to help you find exactly what you are looking for whether its showing you their impressive stock or giving on point recommendations. Incredible selection for spirits, wines, champagne, liquor, beer (domestic and imported), mixers and more. They have great deals for buying in bulk and sales all the time. This location in particular is the best out of all the other twin liquors ive been to in san antonio. They will get you exactly what you are looking for.whether cheap or pricey. See for yourself and I guarantee they will impress.

Definitely one of the best stocked fridges for craft beer in San Antonio. Great rotating selection of beer with an emphasis on regional crafts. This is my go to store when I want something different and already chilled. There are stores with larger selections of beer in town but Twin Liquors beers are all chilled and ready to go. A bit tough to come by the seasonal limited releases here but occasionally I'm surprised at what shows up and hasn't been scooped up already. Sshhh don't tell the rest of the city that! Prices on beer and liquor are reasonable. Liquor selection is adequate for even the most discerning palate.

Well, darn. I've been shopping here for years. Recently they've jacked up their prices. A lot. Our favorite scotch went up by 30%; luxardo cherries are 20% lower at Amazon; their 20% off sale brought our favorite wine down to the usual price quoted in Vivino. I just bought an affordable bottle of bourbon for $42; it's selling at Total Wine for $30. I'm finished with Twin Liquor. The only time their prices are competitive is when they have their annual "dollar sale."

Stopped in Saturday, looking for a specific scotch whisky. I spoke with Joshua at the service desk and asked him if he had it. He said that he knew that they were out of stock in that store but he knew that another one of their stores had it. He checked in their computer system and then called the other store and had them pull two bottles off of the shelf for me. While I was there I purchased another "jewel" that I saw. Joshua made it a great experience. Thanks!

I've shopped at this location for year's and usually spend on a average of $300. and overall good experiences, but this Saturday 12/19 employees were not in the joyest mood especially during this holiday season. Employees must understand customers pay their houly and/or salaries. Customers will go elsewhere if not greeted, asked if you need help or a simple thank you for shopping with us. Must improve!

Tami Jo is such an asset at Twin Liquors: organized, professional, and very responsive. She handled coordinating the alcohol delivery for our event. Tami personally made sure that our favorite Malbec was in stock and I could not be more grateful to her! I also appreciated the great selection of beer and liquor, not to mention the reasonable prices. Thanks also to Tony who delivered the alcohol!

Special thanks to Mr. Robert Lazano! I had to pick up the alcohol for my wedding and Robert walked me through the whole store and personally helped me pick out the right wine and tequila for my event. The right drinks and the right price. It was like having a personal shopper! He saved me money and time during a very stressful week. Thank you Robert.

Curt staff. The employee told me the style of wine I was looking for was in the red wine racks. There are rows of red wine racks, had to ask him to be more specific. Cashier was not friendly. Definitely a step below Total Wine where the staff is cheerful and helpful; the only reason I went here is TW didn't have what I was looking for.

This Twin Liquors location is the best liquor store in the city! It's very large and has a wonderful selection of spirits and wine. The staff is very knowledgeable and they host many vendors which have tastings and product showcased. Be sure to catch the dollar sale when everything goes down to whole price plus a dollar.

Huge selection of beer, wine, and liquor. Prices are good. If you are looking for something that is hard to find, this place probably has it. There is a large walk in cooler for beer. Also, a special room for that exquisite wine. Rows and rows of wine from around the world. Check this place out.

I love the extensive selection of wine, liqueurs, and anything you can imagine! "Twin" means you buy two or more of all choices and your choice is discounted! On a Saturday night they had vendors with a lot of different tastings. Ended up buying a yummy liqueur. GREAT customers service!

Im sure their liquor selection is good... They were absolute psychos when it came to useless masks during this COVID nonsense. Plenty of other liquor stores that don't want their customers muzzled. Support businesses who don't roll over when a severe flu comes around.

Good selection of beers, good prices, nice staff, and has an impressive selection of wines. The road is a bit rough leaving the store, and they don't have many single bottles of beer. I good store I can recommend if you like wine or 6pks of beers.

They are similar to a specs but maybe a little bit pricier Although they do carry alcohol that usually you would have to order and that you wouldn't be able to find at Specs either. Very clean. Often offers a promotional liquor sample tasting.

Staff is friendly the multiple times I’ve visited here. Wine selection is good, and store is always well stocked and clean. Free samples of things if you want them, plus good sales too and store events throughout the year.

Debating between a 2 or 3 star... going into the store is good. However, I called and the man seemed annoyed and ended up telling me to just come in and look. There were nicer ways of doing that.

Cigar room is very shy on inventory. The cashier overcharged me on my purchase buy $27 didn't notice it until after paying. Credit my account but yet nothing ever showed up so I'm out $27.

Bought champagne from their online store. Paid in full. You are charged extra to cover their costs. Order was then promptly cancelled and declined as they don’t actually carry nice

Very friendly staff. They almost always carry my order for me even though it is small. I really appreciate their customer service and go out of my way to go there.

Very nice selection of liquor, cigars, as well as accessories for the bar. They don't have butane to refill your lighter for some reason.
