Worst train station I’ve seen in my life. Ticket office closed. The platforms look abandoned. Windows taped over. Rubbish everywhere… Came as tourists, as we live in a different county, parked car via JustPark so we can take a train into
Ticket machine on platform 1 & 2 doesn't accept cash. Permit to travel machine by the entrance doesn't work and swallows your money. Ticket office is rarely staffed outside of main commuter hours.
