I've been excited about the new rail stations, I really like the feeling of discovering my city again. I like riding the light rail and watching the city from within it. I really think it is great that the city has art within the stations. They picked a great location for the University District Station. Great eateries are within walking distance, everything conveniently located. I rather like the Brooklyn Fragments installation.

This is my first time visiting a new station in Seattle after months of waiting for rail expansion. I am surprised and amazed with the cleanliness, modern, and safety of the U District Station. The trains run on time (every 10 mins). The station is accessible from different ways via different routes. Overall, I feel happy for the new constructed station and its positive experience it brings to Seattle people

New-ish station, and it definitely shows. Location is great, and getting down to the platform is fairly quick. Station has a nice look, especially with the lighting, colour selections, and trackbed. Escalators are garbage as usual, but that is not too much of an issue ... most of the time. Piston effect is less pronounced than in some of the other stations.

Very convenient light rail station and kind of a hub, as right outside there are bus lines passing by. A couple of steps after the corner there are even more bus lines. Station has stairs that are almost always working and an elevator. Nice decorations with windows and quite clean. Personnel is friendly and helpful enough.

Perfectly positioned subway station for the Ave, the Burke, and upper campus. The station itself is beautiful, and the stairs, escalators, and elevators are all equally positioned (you don't have to search for the walk stairs).

19jan2022 ~13:05 on the Link-1 SB from U District Station .. The Station and its surroundings looks clean. Not many Passengers at the Station nor on-board the train which is clean too.

Really busy. In the main street level entrance there are no large print signs with instructions for new users to know what to do or where to go.

  • Tim Mitchell

As far as light rail stations go, ok. Generally clean but where are the trash cans? Lots of space, good signage and generally safe feeling.

No trash cans on the platforms. This indeed did lead to there being a bunch of garbage around. Had to hold gross trash in my hands :(

Estación limpia y muy bien señalizada. Se encuentra muy cerca del Museo Burke y la esquina noroeste del campus.

Waited 30 min for southbound train at 8pm, in a major US city with only one rail line. Is this a joke?

  • Ed Me

Clean place, nice and warm, I like the fake windows with images that made it feel open and spacious.

  • James Trevino

It's a nice station, in the middle of everything happening. A good vibe all around.

  • Rubby A

Very quiet and neat, trains always on time. Security is good here

  • Regg Thomas

It's convenient for me because the bus and train are available.
