One of the best libraries in Agricultural Universities. Completely digitised and we can search the required materials in just a click. Staff here are very cooperative and guide us very well. Neatly organised book racks. Especially for post graduate and PhD research lot of reference materials are available. Even a Xerox shop is present inside where we can get photocopies of required materials. Research cubicals are available for researchers. They can sit and do their work in individual rooms. Updated and recent edition reference books are available. Kannada section has quite a good number of books to read. Wifi zone is an added advantage where we can access lot of journals.

It is one the best library with all sort of books. It accommodates all students studying in gkvk. Everything is arranged neatly & in systematic way and one can self search the books present in Library using the kiosk placed at the entrance with the exact location of book in the library.Separate place is been provided for the newspaper section with all newspapers in kannada and English language.Gkvk students can get all these benifits...

They are not allowing our own books. we can sit and read only with the available books in the library. What's the sake of library then if we can't mark or write imp points in our own reference books, what's the use of library if we can't get that environment to read, some kind of restrictions like these reducing the benefits of library.

Whats the purpose of 'University' libraries if they are meant for only University students? Outsiders should be given entry atleast with permission.
