They've decided to delay all already submitted visa applications just to save face with their mess up with the Ukraine humanitarian bungle. We applied for a fiance visa in December, paid thousands of pounds and now we aren't even deserving of one on the expected time frame. How about instead of punishing current applicants you hire more staff or divert more resources to helping tax paying brits like me start their lives with their partners instead of keeping us apart just because you can't do your job properly?!

(please note: This review is about all UK airport checks after immigration, not the office in Leeds. The home office staff in Leeds are very friendly kind and understanding as long as you can be honest with them. So 5 for staff and 3 for security in that building) Been stopped 7 times for extra security checks ? I'm British only spoiling MY holidays with my family everytime embarrassing me for no valid reason . Just because I'm not white ?

The UKVI are utterly useless and evil. They do not care if they separate families based on stupid jobsworth rules. If I didn't have extended family here, I wouldn't bother with this poor excuse for a country that treats it's own citizens like criminals by default. I hope every member of this organisation has to be subject to the same procedures that they inflict on others.

6 months later, I never got an answer for my visa. I filed several complaints on their website, no response either. Their phone service is disgraceful, they can't answer our questions, they ask us to wait and are disrespectful. I have now been waiting over 2 months for my IHS refund (over £1100). This is unacceptable...

The response is extremely weak and irresponsible and all phone numbers are blocked. Employees do not respect official response letters. Very bad and unpleasant. The website is completely confusing and incomprehensible. very weak In all cases.

Over all I would say the staff were friendly and supportive especially the one who works for the home office. The ones who works for the enforcement team were okay or maybe it's due to the nature of their job.

Over 40 minutes on hold. Submitted my visa application and no updates about it for over two weeks? Need to update my right to work in the uk before I lose my contract at work. Appalling service tbh
