We stayed at UMA casa from Dec 21-25th. 5-star service all around. After a long, tiresome day of traveling, we quickly relaxed and forgot about everything, once we set foot inside this beautiful and elegant home. The architecture is remarkable. Everything was perfect: our cozy and spacious room, their delicious breakfast (you won't have to go anywhere else) and coffee served on the rooftop, and the lush, tranquil grounds. The bathroom made us feel like we were in a spa. Everyone was wonderful, welcoming, kind and treated us like family. Claudia and her team would constantly check in, giving us excellent recommendations of places to eat (we're big foodies). They genuinely cared about our stay, our daily plans and overall comfort. They even took our luggage up to our room and wanted to help us with them down when we left for the airport (at 5AM!). Their attention to detail is spot on. Not only did they clean our room daily, but they would also turn the bed down in the evening. UMA is in a quiet, safe, and calm neighborhood. It's close enough to restaurants and shops by Uber or if you enjoy walking like us. We're thankful and grateful to have had this experience and appreciate their hard work and taking great care of us. We'll be back!

Absolutely lovely hosts that make sure everything is taken care of. If you need anything in your room, or want to set up a cute little wine date, or need a massage - they'll help you sort it out. They helped us for all of those, plus helped us book dinner reservations (they know all the owners) and museum tours (some of them can be very hard to find an open slot.) But Blanca & Claudia made it so easy. The space and rooms themselves are immaculate and well designed. They walked us through using the Alexa in our room, the lights, and water. Made sure it was cleaned every day (but also gave us our privacy when I needed time to knock out some work) and also had a lovely turn-down service to get our bed all cozy before going to sleep - that said, we almost never even noticed they were there. The wifi was good enough for most remote workers - video chats, slack, emails, etc were all fine. Breakfast can be included, and we are so glad we chose to do this! They make some wonderful breakfasts, that include fruit, granola, yogurt, and a main of your choice - also coffee and some delicious juices! Will absolutely stay here again the next time we're in CDMX.

Linda Bushway from Dallas, TX 5/5 UMA CASA is a very unique haven within the rolling hills and most prestigious neighborhoods in Mexico City! It's location is absolutely perfect for a quick five minute walk to numerous restaurants, coffee shops, bakeries, a food and flower market and unique shops and boutiques of all kinds of all types. As it is centrally located, transportation is not an issue and can be easily secured. The beautiful and tastefully decorated nine rooms are perfect! Most rooms have a private outside patio to relax or work at your leisure. The rooms are separate from the main house, giving privacy and peace for all guests. The in-house service at UMA CASA was excellent, with a good variety of exquisite food on the roof-top breakfast area. The Gonzalez family takes special care to welcome guests and make sure that your stay is perfect! It was one of the best "hotel boutique" experiences ever! I will be back!

Es una maravillosa experiencia, llegar a una casa donde te hacen sentir como invitado de la familia. Tienen un salón hermoso y acogedor para descansar o trabajar y un lindo "roof garden" con sillones, mesas para desayunar y sombrillas. El desayuno es excelente. Como es conocido en el bello México, la excelencia y calidez del servicio hacen imperdible este lugar. A dos cuadras de importantes vías de la CDMX. Y muy cerca de atractivos turísticos importantes. Para familias y ejecutivos.

If you are visiting Mexico City -- Uma Casa is a must. One of the most unique designed properties in Mexico City. Its beautiful, tranquil, and inviting space I have ever visited. You are treated with a high level of care and love that is unmatched. They took care of me and my lady with respect and offered tons of advice on our daily explorations. Forgot to mention that the breakfast is heavenly - I melted with each chew. I won't visit Mexico City unless I am able to stay at the Uma Casa! I can't wait to visit again and cozy up all over again.

Could not have been any better. My husband stayed here recently for a few nights and ended up loving it so much we extended our stay. The hotel is so perfectly, thoughtfully and beautifully designed. It is so clean, the breakfast that’s included is incredible and the family that owns and runs the hotel could not have been any nicer and more helpful. We truly felt like it was our temporary home in Mexico city and loved that it was in a quieter neighborhood but still had plenty of local restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance. We will definitely be staying here next time we visit CDMX

From the first entrance into this architectural marvel (it’s featured in Elle Decor) to the final breakfast of our stay, Claudia and her team has been incredibly kind and gracious. The neighborhood is very secure and upscale, which is exactly the kind of energy best suited for week/weekend getaways from the busy city/those looking for a change of pace. The home is gorgeous and never feels cramped; great energy all throughout and staffed by equally cheerful and friendly people. I highly recommend the garden facing room for it’s great exposure. Will definitely be staying again.

I hesitate to write this because this boutique hotel is going to be my second home now that I have discovered Uma Casa and I don't want the secret to get out too much! I travel a fair amount and never have I come upon such the perfect balance of small and private yet A+ accommodations and welcoming service. Every detail is attended to and the family and staff who run this extraordinary property treat you like family. (but not an overbearing family :)

Everything about Uma Casa is exceptional. The house is beautifully and tastefully designed. You’ll be able to find things to appreciate around every corner. The room is quiet, comfortable, and well maintained. And the common space is inviting and makes you feel right like home. The owner Claudia and staff are amazing. They not only made sure our stay was up to the highest standards, but also provided great travel tips and recommendations. Uma Casa made our trip to Mexico an unforgettable memory. We would recommend it to family and friends and look forward to coming back.

If you would like to stay in a work of art I can highly recommend Uma Casa. If you are into design, this place will knock you of your feet, from the architecture to the furniture and art. I have never stayed in such a thoughtfully designed hotel. Each room has its own essence, thoughtfully curated with earth tones and warm textiles combined with unique pieces, all beautiful local Mexican design. The hosts will make you feel as if you are part of the family.

Best hotel experience in Mexico City. Small Boutique hotel (8 rooms, we rented the entire house for a long weekend), impecable design, excellent service, rooms are super comfortable, owner is always around looking to make the experience better, delicious breakfast in a rooftop/terrace surrounded by green spaces. We will stay here every time we come to Mexico City!!!

Exceptional stay, the charming owner greeted us at the door, state of the art architecture, farm to table food for breakfast: homemade yogurt, trout on avocado toast. I can’t speak highly enough of the exquisite care and thoughtfulness of the owners.
