I made an online order as I was not able to visit the store at the current time. for what is normally a short drive to the store I had to pay close to $12 for. Once I had ordered my good it took 14 days to be dispatched only for Aramex to state my address does not exist. I find this hard to believe because I live there. Aramex wanted me to give clear instructions on how the driver could find my address, which to me is not my responsibility rather it sounded as though the driver did not bother to look for my address. Once I opened Aramex's live chat they had closed the chat before it had come to a resolution so I had no clear indication of when my parcel would be delivered. This terrible excuse of a courier company never bothered to try. Aramex realisticaly have no contact contact information however by some rare chance I was told it was going to be delivered in the next few days. Again the next few days roll pass and no delivery. I contact USA foods at this point and Aramex had said my address did not exist. In a chain of emails going back and forth from USA foods and myself I opted for a refund or I could pay more money to collect it from Aramex. This was not an option. USA food were then waiting for the parcel to be returned to their warehouse before a refund was given to me. After reviewing consumer affairs my self USA food were technically responsible for The parcel until it was delivered. I received a refund and can safely say I will never be shopping with USA food again, and I will never use Any company that employs Aramex as their courier company.

First time here, my son was in US recently and wanted to buy some of the products he'd had over there. Not a lot of stuff, but in some things like Breakfast Cereals and BBQ sauces and Rubs, a very large range. Interesting stuff that we've known about all our lives through TV and movies. Tootsie Rolls, Twinkies, Hershey's, Lucky Charms, Junior Mints, Candy Corn, Captain Crunch, Betty Crocker, Crisco, etc etc. We went in just to look around and spent $100!!!! Huge range of BBQ sauces, but they seem quite pricey, anywhere from $10 to over $20 for small bottles. If you know what the stuff is and want it it's OK, but I have no idea, and it's an expensive experiment. Same with the Cereals and Chips. Most packets are well over $10-$15. Tried Twinkies, what a disappointment!! They were fresh, but basically a big mouthful of sickly sweet, spongy fat!!!! (Actually the Cream Filling is made from Tallow/Rendered Animal Fat). Not USA Foods fault though!

We have been doing regular business with USA Foods for over 20 years. In the past, deliveries to our home here in Melbourne have been adequate....sometimes slow, but always received the delivery. Recently however, the courier contracted to USA Foods, 'ARAMEX' is hopeless. Promised deliveries never arrive, attempts to contact the courier are impossible as they have no local telephone number. Emails to them go un-responded to, and their website chats are unmanned. So back to you USA Foods. What are you doing to resolve our missing orders. I have left messages with you via email and chat. As of April 15, 2023 I have had no response. A dodgy courier contracted to deliver goods on your behalf is a direct reflection on your customer service care factor and your legitimacy as a business. Please make it right

I ordered April 28, 2023. When I inquired when they would be shipping my purchase, they said they are still shipping from orders made April 18/19 and they cant give me a specific time frame, which is ridiculous. I just wanted to know when they would be able to ship it. So they said, well you can pay more for express shipping. I already paid $18.23 for standard shipping, they want me to add another $19.31 on top of that and I know for a fact, 6 average bottles of sauce aint gonna cost that much for express shipping since I use auspost all the time. Still waiting for the shipping details via email. Will update this post. I should have just bought from our local shop which is captain candy. -_- I thought I could save myself a couple of dollars but the hassle aint worth it.

Experience of online order was disappointing. Slow to dispatch and the courier service they choice to use is so so slow and significantly overpriced for the service. Could pay the same bad have express delivery by Australia Post. Wouldn't recommend an online order! RESPONSE: please don't dismiss the obvious.... I paid $16.19 standard postage and it took 10 days from dispatch to delivery NO ONE should have to pay another $3 to get 3 day delivery. Australia Post express post would be faster and cheaper than your standard post. You as a business are electing to use a service that is extremely slow and expensive. As for care in postage it was two plastic containers of Jam, in a box with some foam... Change from two stars to one purley due to your response!!

Arrived to the shop to check it out for the first time after a 45 minute drive and owner comes out to aggressively yell on my face that it was click and collect only, that I’ve missed my chance (still had over 20 minutes before the closing time) and that we’ve had this conversation before. I had never met the guy before as I just had arrived and out first interaction is like this. Very rude and unhelpful guy who did not want to serve me. I will definitely NOT be shopping here in the future. Above all, it doesn’t even matter who is right or wrong; I’m not putting up with any arrogant behaviour, specially when I’m the client and we’re just meeting. It’s all imported unhealthy foods anyway. The new way should be local.

  • Dimertri

Middle-of-the-road kind of experience. Okay selection, and they have some of the harder to find items. A tad on the expensive side. Not a fan of their postage and handling time though. Had to email them after there was no movement on my order after two weeks. They explained there could be a delay of up to three weeks with an order using their slow method. i.e. you have to pay for their exorbitant "express" shipping services if you don't want to wait for up to a month for things to arrive (AusPost's current price for an Extra Large box up to 5KG is $26.20 + packaging. USA Foods charges $35.18. Shipping shouldn't be where you make profit.)

  • MTSPP

I dearly love USA Foods, but the shipping situation is untenable. I ordered almost $200 on 11 November. It was picked up by a courier on 21 November. I'm writing this on 4 December - still haven't received the package, cannot get any information on my package, and USA Foods has no way of contacting the courier either. If you order from them, do click and collect, or pay the extra for Auspost. This discounted shipping is no bargain, because the courier can't manage to deliver a package. USA Foods, I have no idea why you tolerate this. There are lots of couriers available; this one is making you look really, really bad.

  • Jane Klimpsch

Placed a delivery order for easter products taking into their excessive delivery time of 'allowing up to 3 weeks for delivery', took 16 days for my order to be just picked and packed and I feel this only happened as I complained via email of no activity on my order. Just received a shipping notification that my order will be another 8-11 days before it is delivered, not until well after Easter. So now I have to buy replacement easter gifts and will end up not being able to use items I purchased. If postage times are so long, suggestion of being quicker at processing people's orders.

I love this place! A must-visit to pick up NFL Super Bowl supplies, but we also pop in when we have a hankering for something American. I imagine this would be a great place for homesick Americans to get the things they miss living in Australia (like we miss Milo, Tim Tams and Vegemite while living in another country). Come on, admit it, we all go on about American food and some of the unhealthy offerings, but we really love it when we eat it! A very well-stocked supermarket and prices are reasonable considering they are freighting over smaller quantities than larger supermarkets.

  • Jasmin Panoutsopoulos

I’ve waited 3 weeks for my order to come and I was really unhappy with how it has taken 3 weeks and still no update if it has been sent out, I emailed them for a full refund and they said I would get my money back within 2-3 days it’s now been the 3rd day and I haven’t received my refund, I’ve emailed them and still no response, I’m pretty disappointed as I wanted my order to come before my birthday but Cleary it wouldn’t have, I just want my refund back!!!!

  • Stella S

Perfect for hard to find USA groceries, variety of items that make it easy to follow American recipes without needing to find substitutions in Australian grocery stores. 4/5 stars because of a fair few items being sold out of date, even though would probably still be good product it was slightly annoying looking forward to purchasing advertised items and unaware of the date until I was in store.

  • Julia Goertz

Put in a big online order for cereal and one 2 other items just to hear one week later that all the cereal is out of stock and my other 2 items are already shipped. Very disappointed because now I paid shipping for something I wouldn't have bought if I knew the cereal wasn't coming. Please get your online stock availability right to save others from disappointment. Won't be ordering here again!

  • Deirdre McIntyre

As an American who doesn't have big "junk foods from home" needs, this won't be a regular go-to for me. There were a couple of things I couldn't resist though. And some of these foods and brands have real nostalgia value. Maybe some of the foods are a bit surprising for Aussies. Very nice staff. It's also not a big store, so they're not going to be able to please all of us expats.

  • James Cole

I have loved visiting this shop for many years now but the fact that they have abandoned cash completely is very disappointing. I didn't agree with it but understood and put up with companies doing this during lockdowns but to still not be accepting cash is ridiculous. You lost a sale today and unless you change this, you also lost a long term customer. Very disappointing.

  • Rebecca O'Neill

Not as big of a selection as I'd hoped for and you can't rely on them to carry some of the US baking staples you'd think they'd have - Concord grape jelly, Libby's canned pumpkin, diamond Crystal kosher salt are a few examples. I was able to get some Crisco vegetable shortening, heath toffee bits and Karo corn syrup though - as well as some fun novelty snacks

  • Matthew Aitken

Having visited USA Foods a few times now, they offered the best of what the US food market has to offer. A great selection of US sodas, chips, confectionery, kitchen goods and other various American based products. If you enter this store expect to spend some money! With so much variety to choose from this is a great sensory experience for all ages.

  • Louisa J

I love the selection of gooda they offer but I have had out of date foods delivered multiple times and they were never good after the best by date. The quality drops massively and I almost always end up throwing them out. Not sure why they never discount out of date stock either, everything I've ever bought out of date was full price. Such a shame.

  • Katharine Mess

These guys are the best! I always order the wierdest combination of items, canned goods to fragile chips and crackers with 12 packs of soda, and they are always expertly packed and arrive in great condition. It always amazes me bc I don’t make it easy on them that’s for sure!!! Thanks for keeping me stocked with my favourite treats from back home.

  • Boncuk

Selection was great! And they have these really cute, reusable bags at checkout. My one disappointment was that a lot of the products were past their best by date. I understand it’s difficult to bring things from USA and work with regulations, but a consumer does not want expired goods. Perhaps a better method can be found.

  • Val Barry

Got what we needed for thanksgiving! Decent selection. Wonderful customer service. They were quick to fill my online order. Yea, things a bit expensive, but groceries in Aus are more than the states, the dollar is worth less here, and they have to import everything and still make money. So it is completely understandable.

  • Matt Turner

Everything USA foods here, from chips, snacks, breakfast cereal, soda cans, chocolate to cooking ingredients and many things in between. Bring your USA Foods reusable shopping bag for 5% discount. Not a discount store, although clearance area offered items on special when we visited. Friendly service. Recommended.

  • Natasha Bell

This place is nostalgic from my childhood. There are so many fun treats and unique imported products from the USA and Mexico. The staff are lovely. They have upgraded their freezer section too! I love the rotating stock because they have limited edition products and seasonal items (Halloween, Thanksgiving etc)

  • Terry Marriott

I only buy grape nuts from here and they are seldom in stock. The staff member said they were very popular and I said why not order more. I don’t think he understood this. They now have a competitor in Lower Dandenong Rd called Mentone Mart. Perhaps that will encourage US Foods to try harder.

  • Andrew sharp

10/10 The manager there truly went above and beyond spending over 15 minutes doing a thorough search of the back area as well as the online area justto find me 1 bottle of sauce. I can't recommend the team enough for their friendly attitude and fantastic customer service. Would shop again.

  • Bob Smith

Good store. Interesting food to be found. Bought a packet of chips and a packet of chocolate chip cookies. Chips were tasty. Haven't eaten the chocolate chip cookies yet. Update: It is almost end of September. Ate the cookies approximately a month ago. Delicious ((: not too sweet.

  • David Morgan

Great selection of food from the USA very dependent on what they have been able to receive in shipments. If you are after something particular check the website and possibly make a pickup order to make sure you don't miss out. Wide selection of hot sauces, candy and other foods.

  • Andrew Taylor

It's what you expect, lots of staples from the States. Surprisingly prices are pretty good even comparing to Catch of the Day for instance. Staff super friendly and were happy to help find items and offered alternatives. Very willing to make sure you have a great experience.

  • Lana N

Thank god I asked for my receipt. This is the second time I have been charged for 1 thing twice at the counter. Was already home by the time I noticed and I won’t be going back, but it’s not good enough. Once is fair enough, no biggie, but this is the second time. Do better

  • Wahidur Khandkar

All those nostalgic grocery products are there in USA foods grocery store. They have got bottled “Coca-Cola” Mexican with real sugarcane sugar. The great Texan “Dr Pepper” and many. If you miss Americans grocery stores, this one will definitely fill up that thirst for you.

  • Shaney Williams

First time today and the staff were top tier, super helpful. The store itself had everything I was looking for and more. Reasonable pricing. Definitely coming back often! Side note, whoever was in charge of the playlist today should get a promotion Thanks USA FOODS ❤️

  • FAIRY QUEEN

WOW FINALLY A STORE IN OZZ THAT IS AMERICAN...THIS PLACE LOOKS AMAZING AN THERE PRODUCTS ARE THE BEST EXCEPT THERE ON EXPENSIVE SIDE...THEY SHOULD MAKE IT MORE CHEAPER FOR PEOPLE.,. HOPEFULLY THEY WILL OPEN MORE BIGGER STORES LIKE THIS THAT WILL HAVE CHEAPER PRICES...

  • Brandon

This is a good store to get all the things from USA. Shocked they have sticky fingers bbq sauce. That is some of the best bbq sauce there is. Also they have American biscuits which you won't be able to find otherwise. Lots of good stuff here. Will return for sure.

  • Paige

It’s okay, it hasn’t got as much as I expected and it’s very pricey compared to other places. The staff are really friendly. The store is clean. They have a coffee station so you can try coffee mate which is cool. There’s easy parking on the side street too.

  • Pleb Pleb

Customer service is a bit poor. I only had cash on me & instead of processing the $100 transaction they refused to take my cash & where rude about it. Wouldn’t recommend going, you can just buy the same stuff online or anywhere else really at cheaper prices.

  • Laith Elkhishin

The time it takes for them to deliver is unbelievable. It is stupid. I purchased something on the 20th of September and it was meant to come on the 10th. I tracked my parcel and it said it would be delayed 3 days and 3 days later, STILL NOT HERE. Not happy

  • Cedric Chan (MeisterG)

Great selection of US foods and snacks. Some of the best pricing around and huge variety. Definitely worth a visit or have a browse on their online store too. Click and collect was very easy and quick. Staff are helpful too when help was required.

  • Marisa Lobo

Don't go here if you love your munchies and nibbles. I always come here thinking I'll buy a couple of items and ALWAYS end up buying so many unnecessary things. Great place to get something different other than your regular Aussies snacks …

  • Kim Jong il

Won’t accept cash in store want cashless transactions. Had right amount on me wasn’t allowed to purchase the goods. Pathetic. Clearly you never had heard of the term cash is king. Anyway went to sweet as they were more than happy to except cash

  • Joshua Clark

Great selection of US foods! The prices are also very reasonable considering the cost of freight and conversion of currency. I’d recommend to anyone (like me) who misses all the US food they ate on holiday! I’ll see you again soon USA foods!

  • The Grigg

Prices are so outrageous! Would order a good amount every few months, but not anymore. How can you justify $14.99 for a 13oz pack of Ruffles... come on! All products are now so overpriced, certainly will not be buying any time soon!

  • Jack Sonata

I ordered quite a few cans of Libby’s Pure Pumpkin Pure from this store and i’m extremely happy with both the products and the prompt delivery. I’ve since made pumpkin muffins, cornbread etc and they all came out beautifully.

  • Madeline McCarthy

A good little place to buy USA brand food at decent prices. The store is poorly laid out though, no signs or clear sections. I did ask for help trying to find a specific item and the older lady working there was very rude.

  • Amy R

Check expiry dates before consuming. I was sent two expired items by 3 months and one that was expiring in 2 weeks. Also took two weeks for the company to despatch the order from when I placed it. Disappointing

  • Jason C

USAFoods is a fantastic resource for satisfying your American food cravings, with a wide variety of products, excellent customer service. It's a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy a taste of the USA

  • Ben Wilson

Easy to deal with. I was after some US cereal. USA Foods had it in stock and at a reasonable price. Product arrived in good condition. Very happy! I hope to visit the store when I am next in the area!

  • Lena Phillips

It had been years since I last went into USA foods but they did not disappoint. Great product range, things I thought didn't exist any more but thankfully do. Nice efficient check out staff.

  • Shawn Pan | Melbourne

As a Taiwanese American, its the best shop for 「Made in USA」goods. Hella authentic and prices are similar back in US. Friendly staff, lots of goods, and accessible storefront. USA USA USA

  • Jas

Used to be my favourite shop. Till my nan walked in and wanted to buy a few things with cash. They only accept card. She is 88! Which 88 year old carries card these days??? Disgraceful!

  • Sarah N

Love this place! Has very unique products and comfort food that you can’t find anywhere else We go occasionally to try new kinds of munchies for fun. Definitely gets pricy though $$$

  • Belinda Roberts

Cashless though? I'm on holiday and I'm only carrying cash so everything I grabbed, I had to put back. Never support cashless businesses anyway, even when I'm home ‍♀️ …

  • Chesco Raygz

Bought 3 boxes of diet drinks (dr pepper, dr pepper cherry, coke zero cherry) and all of them had expired!!! $65 of drinks that are good for the bin. Disgraceful.

  • loren wiener

On a scale of 1-10 USA Foods have been better than a 12/10 :-) So many hard to find items under one roof, and deliveries via online are always handled perfectly.

  • Mark Falcon

Great selection of Flamin Hot snacks from USA. Came to buy Xxtra Flamin Hot Cheetos and ended up picking half a dozen other snacks, some hot sauces and pickles.

  • Aisha Keenan

The store isn’t that pricey considering it’s all from america, they have got loads of variety including grocery items and utilities. There’s also great service.

  • Michael Knight

Very welcoming staff and the products are great. It's well worth a stop in. Heaps of sauces for those who like it hot! We bought a few things and will be back.

  • Abdo Khater

Nice to have American grocer even if it's a little bit more expensive. I found the American Tostistos, Louisiana hot sauce, and corn flour to make corn bread.

  • Joseph Cotton

Pretty cool selection of products that has an odd smell That my friend says smell like American supermarkets, I wish there were more cleaning products.

  • Brandon Fein

Love how this place gets so much American goodness. Happy they got the super Mario cereal, tastes like rubbish but looks cool in a games collection.

  • David Mauger

I have purchased online before, as I live in W.A, but finally made it into the Store this trip. Highly Recommend coming and having a look.
