A month ago I got a trim and layers, during the whole time the lady cutting my hair was commenting on how thin my hair was, which I'm used to. My hair is naturally fine and thin, as I'm missing the medulla in my hair shaft; in simpler terms, my hair has always been fine and thin, even when I was a child. However, she commented on how within the next ten years she guarantees I'll be bald. I'm only an 18 year old female, my mother who was also getting her hair cut there has hair just as thin and fine hair as mine and she's in her 40's. Never had I have any hairdresser make that remark to me, not even my cosmetology teachers. I will not be going to this location anymore, I much rather bus to South Common and get my hair cut at the Great Clips there again, instead of telling me I'll go bald by the time I'm 28, they offer me advice on how to make my hair look fuller and how to style it.

Poor quality haircuts, even when it is extremely basic. Went in for a quick haircut, thought it would be impossible to screw up a simple man's haircut. I was wrong. The style was not what I had wanted, which I can accept as being a difference of opinion. However, my bangs were cut so slanted that there was a 1/4" difference between the length of them from left to right. Completely unacceptable, when I noticed them at home I had to go get them fixed (and not at Ultra Cuts). Only go if you want to end up heading elsewhere to get it fixed.

Michelle is absolutely amazing!! I love how she cuts and styles my sons hair, it was getting to a beautiful all around shape! Then I took him in today and since Michelle was off, Lindsay had him. I showed her how he wanted it, which was a clean up on top and a #3 on the side and back, and she butchered it. She pretty much took it down to a 3 all around his head. Never again will she touch my kids head, she couldn’t follow simple instruction. Michelle is no longer there.. we will not be returning

I took my daughter here for the first time a few days ago. We were practically a walk-in. I called, and we had an appointment a half hour later. I wish I had gotten the ladies name, but she did an absolutely fantastic job of a pixie cut with bangs. Another WAY more expensive place we went to cut my daughter's bangs right off even after being shown a photo, so this is going to be our new go-to place. I highly recommend them. Lovely people.

I love my hairdresser here. I spend thirty minutes I don't need to in order to go out of my way to travel here. She's fantastic and I've been coming to see her for years now. They follow Covid protocols for people who are worried. She does whatever I ask, without hesitation and it always turns out fantastic. Couldn't ask for a better hairdresser.

Asked me a dozen times if I was sure I wanted it short. I didn't want to shave my head and opted for a short hairstyle instead. Convinced me to go longer than I asked and after one day I hate it. Il have to go cut it again myself

Someone brings in a picture of how you want your kids hair to look and than the chick absolutely botches it than has the nerve to ask if you like it. I think it's time for her to serve coffee at tim hortons

I have received nice hair cuts here. I hope my hair dresser stays. She is really nice and does a great job. I get tired of searching for new ones when they leave. So far so good.

I had Amanda and Michelle as stylist. They are so kind and really cut my hair in a way that was best for me and suited me. Friendly people and a great cut for a good price.

Businesslike but friendly. Does a great job. I also noted they have a wonderful way of handling fearful children, they put them at ease and really connect with them.

The lady that cut my son’s hair was really lovely. She was alone in the shop, and that caused delays. But she was great with my son, I would definitely go back.

Hair dresser was kind and was able to cut my 22mo olds hair before he got too upset. However my haircut was not as nice as I was hoping.

New stylist is horrible!! Pieces hacked out of my hair ended up with just about a brush cut trying to fix what she messed up.

Didn't know the haircut called messy. Nobody does. Maybe it's not a thing? The lady was nice and the place was empty at 5pm.
