I'm giving this store 2 stars only for 2 reasons: - I got the item I wanted at a good price - It was delivered to me the next day (thank you Aus Express Post). I will NEVER be shopping here again - it is definitely better to spend the exta $10-$20 elsewhere like Amazon or mWave then to deal with this arrogance and laziness. I am dumbfounded at the reviews that state this place has friendly service and "are willing to help". I noticed that there was two listings (after I purchased the item) for the Logitech C922. One listing had information about the item - particularly about the tripod I was enquiring about. But it was listed as Sold Out. The other listing had nothing but specifications. I was doing some research on Google about the item when I realised that the item I had purchased actually comes with a tripod. So naturally I return to the website to check and listing two was unable to help me. I sent an email to Kelvin in customer service to clarify whether the webcam came with the tripod, as Google said it did, but their listing didn't mention it. His response was: "Unfortunately, Umart cannot guarantee any specific version, batch or manufacture date of hardware we supply due to a number of factors such as the length of Australian supply chains, the date of supply and how the stock is assigned to orders. If you purchase an item from us that is not a suitable version, as long as the factory seal is not broken you can return it for a refund of the product price within 30 days." Like I said to him - two times! I want the item, that's why I bought it! And it is your responsibility to know what you are selling. He then used Australian Consumer Law to justify his sheer laziness, as an excuse to not get up and check the box (as I suggested - because a YouTube reviewer showed the tripod icon on the box). He continued to argue about how they wouldn't accept a refund for a change of mind - This clearly was not a change of mind request! It was me being a sensibly consumer and asking for a company I am purchasing off to clarify information and to delay shipment if it is incorrect. His remedy: send the item back- but don't open the box because we can't refund you. The item had to make it all the way here for me to be able to see on the box that there was the TRIPOD I WAS ASKING ABOUT!!! Frustrated to say the least.

Before you place your order here, keep in mind: 1. Any item that is opened is deemed as change of mind if you return regardless of the issue, this includes if items bought together under the same order but not fitting each other, so check with staff before buying, they won’t exchange for you, the only advise you will get is to sell it yourself on Facebook marketplace. 2. If items bought here are under warranty, they will take over one week to assess, so please keep following up with them. 3. The store has no direct phone number, all the calls are directed to their call centre, to my knowledge, they are polite but they don’t have any authority, so don’t expect your issue to be fixed over the phone. 4. Their staff are generally polite but won’t offer help if you don’t initiate the conversation, so if you don’t know what you doing, ask or try somewhere else. 5. The staff or the online ordering system will not warn you if items you are buying are not compatible under the same order (some other retailers will inform you), so you need to be knowledgeable to shop here, as if you find your items are not compatible, it’s deemed as change of mind when you bring it back. Places like JB Hi-Fi and Officeworks would happy to exchange the items you have bought don’t fit, and they do match Umart’s prices, so if the item you want is also available in those places, you can ask them to do price match with Umart and having the benefits of better customer service in more established retailers. 6. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable (if you know what you need), shop is tidy, good selection of products and good price in general. These are some of the high points I highly recommend services like Amazon Prime or eBay plus membership where they offer express post included in the price, exclusive discounts and free returns, unless you need something urgently and you know exactly what you need, in which case Umart retail stores can be assumed as vending machines.

First time purchasing through U Mart today. I had no idea that you couldn't just do a "walk in" purchase, all items do need to be ordered online via click & collect. The staff member I dealt with was very friendly, when I asked for the item I wanted he asked if I had shopped with them before and when I replied no, he advised me of the process, and that I was welcome to hang around for my order to be ready. When using their website to sign up, and make the purchase, the whole process was relatively painless on my phone - I tend to do these kind of things on a PC but found it surprisingly easy. The reason for the four stars though, is because the staff member was friendly enough, he knew exactly what I wanted and that I was unaware of their process and had placed the order right there in front of him - surely he could have quickly gone out back and pushed it through for me, especially after I'd said I would hang around for it, rather than make me wait half an hour. I just feel that as a new customer it would have been nice to be told "look, this is how we do it, but since this is your first time we'll go a bit above and beyond for you". Next time I'll make sure I've got my order in online prior to rocking up though, and likely will purchase through U Mart again.

i was very unhappy with the service today. I purchased many parts and my cooler master aio water cooler was an older version not supporting lga 1700. your website states via cooler master that if this bracket is not included past 2021 reach out to the reseller (umart), when mentioned the response was "we can refund it" i dont want a refund i want the bracket. there was less than zero care here. my friend also had this same issue many months ago which means that, 1 you still have old stock, 2 you are aware of an issue you refuse to rectify. Even if you had the bracket on hand to buy i would have just bought it, but now i must wait several weeks dealing with cooler master through facebook. (yes FB is the way to contact them what a joke) I would have given 1 star if that accolade wasnt reserved for cm's after sales service already.

Horrible absolutly clueless!! 99% I use PcCaseGear, but thought, I'll give the local shop a try.. Ordered a monitor (which was instock) Waited 4 days for the order to process. Rang them up asking why it's taking so long. "Ohh, we have no stock at your store, it must be a website error, we will fix this" - arranged a refund. 1 day later, even 2 days later it was still displayed as instock... rang them to place a new order, pick up this time Was told "yeah we have 3 instock, buy it online and it'll be ready for you today" HUHH?? ONE STAFF MEMEBER SAYS ONE THING, ONE SAY ANOTHER, WEBSITE ISNT UPDATED Went back to PCCaseGear and they were able to process/deliver the exact same monitor within 2 days and I ordered late. - Umart is 25km away - PCCG is in a different state and 850km away

Purchased items for a computer. Parts were DOA however when attempting to return them I have been given an extraordinary mess around. Terrible customer service. Third item I have received from umart with a fault. I took my rig in to get a bios update and UMART bricked my motherboard. It lit up when I took it in, when I returned to retrieve it, it no longer light up. Secondly, I have photo proof my build DID NOT have thermal paste on the motherboard when I brought it in and assembled it, that paste happened when YOUR STAFF where messing with it in the box during the 4 HOURS you gave us the run around. DO NOT ATTEMPT to pull a dirty here, I have plenty of photographic evidence and recordings of what went down this day you absolute con-artists!!!

***********PLEASE READ************* Goodluck returning anything to this company! They have absolutely disgusting customer service. They do not care about customers nor how much they have spent with them. I have spent many thousands of dollars with then and when I bought a product I was unhappy with after unpacking it to test it they offered me NO solution and said "We only do exchanges for sealed products" in other words tough luck. This is why shopping in proper retail stores in Australia is the best way to go as their policies are much better and fair for the consumer but hey people only look for the cheaper price tag then shop online with companies like this that do not care but happy to just take your money.

Thank you to the two guys at croyden Umart for wasting an hour of my time because they could not be bothered opening the warehouse which I assume was right behind them. I had ordered online at 5:09 and raced there through peak hour traffic to arrive at 5:25. They said the warehouse was closed and that i had to either come back tomorrow or order online. Now, I am aware that I am partly at fault here for not giving them enough time (they looked so busy), but for god sake is it too hard to be a normal human being and spend 60 seconds going out the back and retrieve an item?? Absolutely pathetic. Hour wasted. I won't be dealing with that shop again.

Terrible service! We have purchased over a dozen computers online from Umart for our business and need to have 2 of them repaired. They are no longer under warranty but we need them fixed anyway! We are prepared to pay but when we took one of the computers to Umart, they turned us away because the warranty is out! Where then are we supposed to get them fixed? So, there is no ongoing support at all from Umart, we will now have to find a new supplier for our computers (who back up their sales with ongoing servicing)...I never thought that any computer business would not support their own products. Lesson learned!

The staff (8/1/2022) was rude and very unhelpful, that man behind the counter needs to be fired. "we do still allow customers to walk in from the street and we can process your order for you" is a lie. There is no cash or eftpos, and only deliver to the store location when you do order online. The displays were very dirty and dusty, some with mystery stains that did not look appealing. I was hoping this store would be good competition for MSY but at least the staff there have manners and patience to assist me with my purchase. I have no plans to return here.

The best. So I bought all parts at MSY initially but had some communication issues so I went to UMART to seek help as they're now under the same company. Manager Chris delivered the best shopping experience possible, he's very professional, knowledgeable , patient and efficient. He listened to my needs and gave advise accordingly, he fixed the problem I had from MSY and built my system perfectly within a few days. Very happy, will go to UMART for all my computering needs from now on as long as Chris works there.

Great Prices, Friendly Staff. All online.. Mainly Just a warehouse where you can order online and get fast delivery. Or if they have it in stock then wait an hour they send you an email to pick up from warehouse or have a week to collect.. Can also order online while in store and only takes a few minutes to get your order ready. Great prices and friendly staff.. Just found my new place for PC building parts. Only have the one store in SA atm but hope they change that soon. Thanks again for the prompt service

As stipulated on their website, they don't do walk-ins and I have no issue with this. This is clear and simple. Click and Collect service has been very smooth, and the workers were helpful in carrying out bigger items to my car without hesitation. Really enjoyed the streamlined experience and great prices given I save money on pickup. No longer do I have to waste time waiting in queue for others to make payment or dealing with difficult customers. Overall very positive experience and great for enthusiasts.

Superb customer service, best price and offers in the market and very responsive customer service. I have just recently purchased a product which turn out to be faulty, I received same day response from the support team email to drop in the store to check the product, and at store they immediately offer product replacement or full refund option, I chosen product replacement. To be honest I don't have anything about this shop. I'm giving 1 star coz I baught an item from this shop and when I try to claim warranty, it's been months and they still saying " I'm sorry my manager is trying to talk to the manufacturer and we will be in contact soon". Just like a broken record. How many days will it take to claim a Warrenty. Further I'll be removing this review after it's resolved. I mean I'm just showing my frustration.

I've shopped online at Umart for a few years now, and the prices have always been good, so I was excited to have a store in Adelaide. However I was disappointed to discover it's a click and collect store. If you head in, in person, you're sent to a computer to place your own order, then there's a wait (15 mins in my case) for your order to be packed. Service was good, although the wait was a bit excessive for one cable.

nice staff, idem ditto products....but ...according to the shop's website it closes at 5.30. Apparently it means that the physical door of the warehouse will close. At 5pm. So apparently,one is not able to purchase, or pickup, the items-you-wanted-to have-at-the-last-minute...after leaving work halve an hour earlier. Then what's the use of sitting on a prime location where 25% of the working class hero's pass by?

Waiting/browsing area is massive. They will assist with getting bigger items to your car if you ask. Note that when coming from northern suburbs using expressway, take the Torrens road exit (half a k before Torrens road approx). Otherwise you'll not be able to enter their driveway. Sign is big but can be a blink and you'll miss it affair. Slow down directly after McDonald's and you'll see it.

Friendly service and very willing to help with my order, also took the time to show me other options, even the cheaper options (most places try to up sell). Had a nice chat while the order was being processed in and we were in and out without placing an order prior within minutes and as a new customer, they gave me a free bag 10/10 will be recommending to friends and family.

Ridiculous... all things suggest they should be open today until 2pm. Even their call centre says they should be open, but they informed me that they have had heaps of calls saying they were closed today.... really inconvenient. It takes a few seconds to update your opening hours on Google maps... a few seconds that could have saved a tonne of wasted expensive petrol.

Bought a motherboard from here and could never get it to work no matter what PC parts I replaced. I took it back and said it didn't work. So they disappeared into the back for 20 mins and came out with photos of a working bios. I didn't actually receive any real evidence that they even looked at it. I've had it for a couple weeks now and still can't get it to work.

I learnt about Umart from a friend only recently and was surprised by their prices and service. An excellent place to consider for your computer needs. Unlike most other stores however, you shop online and then collect it in person rather than browsing the shelves of a store. Definitely worth considering when shopping for your IT NEEDS.

We had an issue with a faulty power supply, wrote an email and got a reference number to take it back to the Croydon store today (12/1/22), bloke behind the counter was helpful and took the unit back, didn't have store stock for a replacement so sorted out another better one and I paid the difference. I had the worst experience. The customer service was rude and unhelpful, making it a terrible in-store experience. To make matters worse, the $1,800 graphics card I purchased was faulty and broke my power supply and motherboard. I would not recommend this business to anyone, due to their poor customer service and unreliable products!

Really bad service, tried returning a faulty Dell monitor that was less than a day old with fault evidence. Staff didn't have the proper tools to diagnose the fault in store, so now I have to wait for a warranty claim on something I paid over $500 for. Will be very hesitant to shop here again, horrible experience.

This palace was online pickup only when i visited, no in store ordering was possible (although the staff member showed me over to a PC where i could place and order and they immediately picked the parts I wanted. Staff are friendly, helpful , store is clean and well air conditioned.
