I recently went on the 7 day tour and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to see the most of Tasmania in a short amount of time. Our flight delay of 33 hours with Jetstar nothing to do with the tour but the tour company's communication was exceptional, ensuring we found our way to the group seamlessly. Our guide, Tom, stood out with his friendliness and wealth of information, always welcoming questions. Tom kept us well-informed about the daily plan, maintaining a sense of organisation throughout. The bus journeys posed a challenge for me due to car sickness, especially on the winding remote roads. Ensure you bring tablets then you will be fine. Despite the less-than-ideal weather, Tom's flexibility allowed us to make the most of each stop. It rained nearly every day, so packing warm clothes and a coat is essential. Tom even gave the option to stay on the bus during rain, a thoughtful touch. Accommodations in hostels were consistently clean and comfortable. The group size, around 19 people, offered a nice mix of ages, primarily in their 20s. The tour allowed for individual exploration, and we even had a close encounter with a wombat and platypus. As an inexperienced walker the hikes included are very manageable but there’s also opportunities for more experienced walkers to do other trails.Overall I’d highly recommend this tour for its flexibility, knowledgeable guide, and diverse stops.

I did the Super 7 with Keygan and it was an amazing experience. I personally love active tours and loved the fact that the itineraries included options for longer and easier walks. Keygan is very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about Tassie’s history, and its flora and fauna. He was well organised and professional and fun at the same time. The itinerary for the super 7 was perfect and covered most of the must do spots across the beautiful island. Ours was a diverse group of about 20 people belonging to different ethnicities and age brackets but all super friendly - some of the nicest people I’ve ever met! Accomodation is decent, if you don’t like using shared facilities, go for the motel/hotel option, but the hostel experience is quite fun too and great way to meet new people. Pack light as you won’t be staying at a location for more than 1 or 2 nights and none of the accoms had lifts so be prepared to carry your luggage up the stairs. There are multiple stops for toilet breaks during the day and IGA stop most evenings. Overall it was a great week, filled with lots of fun, activities and scenic views. I definitely recommend giving it a go!

The Tassie 5 tour takes you around some of the most beautiful places in Australia. While driving it is amazing to see how the Tasmanian scenery changes from white sandy beaches, to temperate rainforests and mountains, to farming countryside. The hikes were scenic, with different levels of difficulty to suit everyone’s capabilities. There was lots of wildlife - we saw wombats, wallabies, and a platypus! The hostels are comfortable, especially the one in Bicheno. Our tour guide Tom was a lovely and genuine person who really made this whole experience as great as it was. He shared with us some very interesting and important Australian history and his passion and enthusiasm for the places we visited was infectious. He made sure the tour was always running smoothly, stayed upbeat throughout, and kept us safe with his excellent driving - especially in some challenging stormy conditions. Tom has an ability to make everyone feel included and he’s a real credit to Under Down Under.

What an excellent tour to explore Tasmania. I did Super 7 in mid March as solo traveller and had most fabulous time. For the first 5 days KP was our guide and then Rob took it over for the remaining two days. Both were friendly, professional, knowledgable, with so many facts about Tasmanian history and wildlife. Also they made everyone feel safe and welcome. We were able see all the amazing places around Tasmania from white sandy beaches trough forests, waterfalls, lakes and breathtaking mountains. We had many stops along the way for breakfast, lunch and they did recommend different restaurants for dinner as well. I choose to stay in a shared hostel accomodation which was basic but clean. I would highly recommend to take the tour with Under Down Under tours to see the real Tassie beauty! Thank you for such a great trip with lots of wonderful photos and memories.

Tassie 10 Day Adventure - Couldn't have asked for more. .. Keygan you're the best, guiding is definately your calling.. Thanks for the most epic 10 days .. It was a trip of memory making that was made so much more special with you at the helm.. We were lucky enough to be on the 'Maiden Voyage' of this tour and with so much knowledge, helpful with bags and every other aspect you really made it easy and comfortable all the way. I Don't think wee Mumsie will forget this trip (she's 85) and although she wasn't able to complete the longer walks or those with many steps, there were many other options for us to enjoy along the way, easier walks and view points. Easy company to deal with, answering any queries promptly and just the best service and quality all round. Great hotel/motel choices and food options as well. THANKS Under Down Under X

Second time with Under Down Under Tour and did not regret doing this again. In fact, it exceeded my expectations in many ways this time around. Kudos to my guide, Tim for making the visits, walks and experiences come alive! He is amazingly attuned to nature and could point out all the cute Tassie animals and native plants. He goes above and beyond for everyone- helping the weaker ones with their bags, extra TLC for elderlies, unlimited patience in answering questions and even went the extra mile to get a bday cake. One of the most awesome guide I have met. Tim has a heart for everyone. Under Down Under also organises its programme, pace and diversity of the tour really well. It showed us the beauty of Tassie, both the Tasmanians and the beautiful island!

I am not a type of person who usually writes reviews, but the exceptional quality of service our tour guide Tom has given during our 7 day tour is beyond words. Tom is exemplary in the excellence and professionalism, and that combined with a sound knowledge of each of the places he took us was mesmerising. Tom is more than charismatic; he is also very kind, friendly and very clear with instructions and briefings, giving us a good sense of how the day was going to look like, what kinds of things and activities we would be expecting alongside advice of weather and type of clothing we would need. My elderly parents enjoyed this trip to their fullest and I am very grateful to Tom and the team for going above and beyond, more than words can ever say! Kudos!!

I have just finished a 7 day tour with Under Down Under Tours. Great locations, lots of amazing scenery to see and top quality guides. Lots of amazing animals spotted in the wild too. A great variety of activities to suit your level of fitness. You can either do shorter or longer walks. Thank you to our incredible guide Tim for your amazing knowledge that you were willing to share and your helpful nature. Loved your sense of humour too! You definitely helped to make my first solo adventure an amazing one to remember! Accommodation for hostels was good too as we had the option to cook for ourselves and really helped to build relationships with the other people on the tour. I would not hesitate recommending Under Down Under Tours. I took a 7 day tour of Tasmania that will stay with me for a very long time. The group of 12 people was made up of various ages and nationalities who connected extremely well, we had lots of fun and were all friends by the end of the tour. Our tour guide, Anthony was informative, caring and attentive to every person, no request was too difficult. His exceptional customer service skills exceed customer expectations.There were a couple of issues on the trip that I fed back to the company via my end of tour feedback form, I have no doubt that the company will address these in due time.

A good tour is dependant on the tour guide and the people you're touring with. I was blessed with both, with the bonus of good weather. Justin was our tour guide and you can tell how enthusiastic and the enjoyment he brings to his job. I came with my parents who were 84 and 76 and did the 6 days explorer in Tassie and he looked after them in activities that they couldn't participate in. There were lots to see and it's fast pace, but sufficient time to relax and enjoy the scenery. We enjoyed our time and thank you Justin for all the driving and commentary you provided and the ice cream detour.

We did the Famous 5 tour with Anthony as our guide - beautiful scenery and hikes in the wild west coast and blue east coast with lots of options for less fit people like us, and super fit younger folk who were in the same group. The days were longish (7/730 to 5, 530 each day) but there were lots of thoughtful breaks to stretch our legs and get coffee or food for the road or to eat on the mountains or the beach. Anthony our guide clearly loves Tassie with lots of stories and experiences to share. Great way to see lots of Tassie in a few days if you don’t have time to stay longer!

A very active itinerary (super 7), but with scope for different fitness levels most days. Guides were personable and knowledgeable (Anthony and Tim). Group dynamics can be interesting, but most were there to have a good time, to learn, explore and enjoy. Definitely suited to those who like road trips. Space can get cramped on the bus, but it helped that there were lots of coffee and hiking/bushwalking pit stops as well as opportunities to change seats. I got some fun photos and wonderful memories and am very glad I did the tour!

Without a doubt, I had an incredible time. I was on the 7 day tour with Keygan as our tour guide. I highly recommend it. The whole trip was filled with knowledge, fun, and laughter. Explored amazing places, learnt about animals/plants/places, and bonded with other people. We had a diverse group which was great. Keygan was super considerate of everyone's pace, requirements, etc. He was always there to help wherever required. Taught me a few card games haha. I will definitely miss Pat and Dot <3.

Ian and I had the most amazing time seeing Tassie. Tom, our guide, made our visit so special. His knowledge and passion for the flora and fauna is incredible and his kindness and consideration to everyone on board second to none. The seven day tour was great! It is very jam packed, but that also just means you're getting your money's worth! Our tour guide, Tom, was amazing. One of the best tour in my life. Tassie welcomes us with fantastic weather in the five days tour. Clear cradle mountains, nice hiking, considerate toilet stops every one to two hours, and knowledgeable and humorous tour guide. We did a 5 day bus tour around Tasmania. We saw lots of top spots and beautiful scenery. The Bay of Fires & Wine Glass Bay were a couple of favourites. Justin was our tour guide for the trip. I joined the tour on the 4th day as my flight was cancelled due to weather condition. Tim was the guide, was a nice guy. The itinerary was good as it brought us to many beautiful places around Tassie. But I was not aware that accommodation can be upgraded. I wish I could as don’t get used to sharing bathroom with others.
