It has everything one would expect for a liquor store which serves to a working class community. All of the liquor is stored behind a counter and glass window which I understand as the store is a little remote; it’s the only retail business open at night on that block. While I have never felt in danger there, I don’t hang out and around outside anymore I would anywhere else while running errand. They have alkaline - reverse osmosis water services so bring your jugs in :) and fill them for, I believe, .20 a gallon. Lastly, the older man who works and owns this place is very nice and well mannered. He’s really very sweet; he puts complimentary candy in my husband’s bag which is very much appreciated. We like/respect him and get that in return.

THIS IS A PLACE THAT DESERVES MORE THAN JUST FIVE STARS ! THIS IS A PLACE THAT IS NOT PERFECT BUT THE OWNER AND HIS EMPLOYEES DO THEIR BEST TO KEEP IT TO A HIGH STANDARD . Basic needs for locals. Truly a store of convenience. They even dispense R.O. water here. I have been in this neighborhood since the late nineties, and I've shopped there all that time, I am certain they have been in business much longer than I've lived in the area.

What a godsend. Never closed during Los Angeles BLM riots, pandemic panic or beastly weather. Well stocked with a wide selection of basic food items, supplies and snacks, besides oceans of drinking options, soft, hard and in-between kinds. Thanks!

Union liquor- first/last time coming here. Old Korean guy said in his little microphone behind the bulletproof counter to me in an insulting tone “oh my god” because I asked him what the debit card fee was.
