If you’re going to get acrylics please don’t go here lol. My first and worse ever acrylic nail appointment. So the 1st thing the lady did was put the tip on me no filling no prepping the cuticle for longevity nothing. I asked her why but her response we like “I normally do it after” in my mind I thought it was a language barrier and I didn’t understand her. I personally do acrylics so I know the steps it’s just that the girl who normally does my nails was away. The way she even made an acrylic ball was like a btec learner. The acrylic balls were either sooo wet or so tough and it was just a mess but I then watched her then file my the extension tips which was place almost 3/4 to my nail circlet and the 1/4 of my nail was filled too. I already knew these nails would fall off but every nail tech has their own way of doing nails. She finished the nails with a nice red but they were so thin again in my head I thought “you know what this what her customers are used to and it work for her”. 1 day after 1 nail broke next day another 3rd day another and now all the rest of the nails are just so weak. I went back to explain this to her having even spoken to the girl who normally does my nails. She looked my the nails that had fallen off and were now bar and she said “these nails were not filled and maybe or maybe not dehydrator was used but either way if they were not filled the acrylics will have nothing to hold on and also this acrylic is sooo thin they will literally just fall of while you’re doing ur day to day thing”. Anyways I went in and she decided to argue with but I ended up just asking for a refund. Not the best place for acrylics

I don't even know where to begin! I booked this hair dressing appointment due to my last hair appointment not turning out how it was supposed to. Upon being greeted, the hairdresser told me that I didn't need the treatment that I had booked or wanted- She was already quite cold and abrupt- certainly not welcoming. She told me that there was a concern that it could damage my hair as it was already dry. I appreciated her honesty and she said she would be able to lighten my hair a few shades. She then had an attitude that made me feel uncomfortable and as if I shouldn't be getting my hair done. She mixed up the colour and then returned and upon sectioning up my hair with a look of disgust on her face and cold manner decided to cut my hair first- dry. Once the cut was done, I had had enough. The longer I was there, the more I was made to feel horrible about myself because of her attitude including huffing and shaking her head as she picked up sections of my hair. I told her that I was leaving as she had made me feel so uncomfortable. She seemed to think that this was due to her telling me my hair was dry... but this is far from the truth. Her attitude and demeanour was terribly unprofessional, rude and unpleasant. I paid for the haircut and left the premises in tears to then got home and see that the haircut was far from satisfactory. Perhaps the hairdresser was just having a bad day but this was truly an awful experience and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

This salon came to light by using Treatwell as they had a great discount I called the salon to confirm and she adviced me to not book with Treatwell but to come in and that I will still have the discount. I came in everything was ok, some hard selling with extra services and tell you what colour will “SUIT YOUR SKIN TONE” if I want pink or green hair it’s my choice. I kept calm as I felt under pressure and finally she explained that I have to pay almost double than what we initially discussed. I was so confused but she was adamant and so as I was late I left in a hurry. Once I got home I did calculations and I realised there was no way I was to pay what I did and what had happened here was a big scam. I then gave in a call and she kept acting naive. I then went into the salon and she explained the PRICES ON HER SCREEN are DIFFERENT to those on a customers screen? As ridiculous as this sounds I insisted I want what I paid EXTRA back. She mocked me by saying I need the money and that I should remember this trying to THREATEN ME. I was so close to calling the police as she wasn’t speaking to me but screaming at me as if I was a child. Her colleague a young apprentice who was excellent tried to step in and calm the situation and she even screamed at him telling him to Shut up?! This is a horrible horrible place and as a business owner myself this was horrible I really hope they learn that customer service is no1

Absolutely appalling experience. How is this actual business? I am convinced it is a front for money laundering. I called to book an appointment for a haircut, the person who answered could barely speak English but told me to come in the next day. I left work early, had my husband drop me off and arrived to find no one at the reception. Then two women come out, I say I have an appointment, they look confused as if people coming in to have a haircut is something odd, they have bo record of my appointment because apparently they don’t write things down and proceed to tell me the woman who and I spoke with on the phone was ill and did not come in. No one ever got in touch to tell me my appointment was cancelled, offered no apology, a 5 year old would have better customer service skills. I ask if either of them could cut my hair and they shook their heads. So you have a hair salon open with 2 workers in, neither of whom can cut hair?? Are you joking? You have no appointment system, you don’t let people know if their appointment is cancelled and you run a business? What a waste of my time and energy. Had to walk back home. They even had the audacity to tell me to come back tomorrow. This has to be a fraudulent place, no legitimate business runs like this (they did not have a single customer when I came). Avoid this place at all costs. Disgusting.

I have been going to this salon for the last 4 years! I don’t go anywhere else! Mahsa and her team offer a variety of services. When I come here I have had my hair cut, highlights, full body laser treatment, eyebrow threading, facials (all types) and waxing. Not at one time obviously. My mum who surfers with dementia came here and Mahsa looked after and took very good care of her. I explained the situation and she handled it with the upmost professional care. They all work super hard to deliver the best service. They are consistent and give you the best treat treatment. Fofo has been doing my laser hair treatments (full body) and I’m on session 4. The results are amazing! The prices are fair and you get what you pay for! They are friendly and offer a great service. What I love about them is their honesty they will tell you what will work and what wouldn’t. They are also very good at reminding you of your next appointment. I have brought my children here too and they have been very well looked after. I really do not think I will changing hair dressers anytime soon. It’s one stop shop for everything. Give them a go! Hey so I don’t usually leave bad reviews however i just wasn’t happy with the quality and value of his hair cut. I arrived was greet kindly, My hair was washed with no real passion or hair the hairdresser just seemed she wanted to hurry up. There was a guy there who was sat there seemed really bored and unproductive who made a few comments which wasn’t needed. My hair was cut an inch, I then requested to take the weight out which she said ‘sorry I forgot’ then spent 3 minutes tearing chunks out of it. She asked if I wanted a blow dry I said no she didn’t straighten it, I left the salon with damp hair that looked like a ballon I had to go home and straighten it myself. Once again I don’t usually leave reviews but this experience was awful I hope you can take constructive criticism and ask your hairdressers to put a bit more passion and care into their work. My usual hair cut is an hour you had washed cut within 20 minutes and spent 5 minutes half heartidly drying it. Really disappointed won’t be back and wont be recommending you guys. Sorry hopefully you can change things around xxx

Went to UC&H on 16 August for Keratin hair treatment. I received first class hair treatment. My afro hair was treated with respect and care by the hair stylists; they are highly skilled and knowledgeable about different types of hair and it showed through the different techniques they used. Bless the hair stylist that straightened my hair over three hours! She put 110% into making sure that every part of my head and hair was styled properly. Also thanks to the other hair stylist that washed my hair, dried it and initially applied the keratin as well as styled it at the end. Apologies I can’t remember your names. But thanks very much for the hair styling. These guys are highly professional and put love into their craft. I left very happy with my new hair style. I had to jump on and share my experience. I had tape in hair extensions which got tangled and stuck in my hair because of low quality glue used and a lack of care on my part. I was desperate to keep the hair as much as possible. I went to a couple salons and they told me I would have to cut It all off. I googled salons and found this place and the owner lady I believe (this was a year ago) told me to come in right away. When I tell you this woman and her Co worker patiently for hours and hours gently removed the glue from my hair. I was so happy. They managed to save my hair and gave me a treatment and said to leave it to recover. On top of that they charged me a low price considering the amount of work they did, I was a poor student to this really helped I didn't break my bank and also saved my hair. I can't not recommend this place enough.

Came in with disastrous haircut from week ago done somewhere else. I am very impressed with service, Mahsa did listen to how I wanted hair to be cut, she then proceeded with haircut and had done splendid job at correcting it. I could see she was skilled from the first moment she started sectioning and cutting my hair. I also enquired about other services and was given full list of services available. This will be my go to salon as it has been few years of one hair disaster after another and it is hard to find such good quality service. I think prices are very reasonable as well. Looking to have balayage done at this salon in a few months.

Everyone in the salon were so polite and friendly! Mahsa’s skills were amazing. She talked me through what I was having done to my hair, recommended a treatment and I trusted the process. The results were amazing. I also had my nails done by Lili and she was fantastic. Very quick and she used the electric drill things and past experience by other salons the technicians always damage my nails but she was so gentle with my nails and this was the best nail care I’ve received. What a wonderful experience I had at this salon!! Couldn’t recommend enough the staff are so polite and welcoming! I was greeted by a lovely lady called mahsa who was so polite not to mention a fantastic young lady Ash who offered me a drink and made me feel welcomed whilst I was waiting for my appointment. I had a very talented hairdresser (mahsa) who listened to me and cut and coloured my hair exactly how I explained in wanted it I’m so happy with my new hair and as I was a new client I definitely going back

So... I bought a cut and blow dry for the salon from Groupon. Always a little sceptical with groupon and when trying a new hairdresser for the first time generally. The haircut I walked out with was exactly what I wanted and better than I anticipated. I normally find myself squinting into a mirror for a few days until I get used to a cut. I loved this one instantly. Not much in the way of small talk but i hate having to find interesting things to say about the weather, that just made it a better experience in my eyes.

Okay this place used to called "OH my Cut" but presumably they had a management change and is now renamed. I went for a haircut recently and despite being a simple cut, there was too much confusion explaining. What was most disappointing was the behaviour of the hairdresser. She was downright RUDE and uncourteous. It was almost like she was doing me a favour or a free service. Assuming that your customer don't know anything and having superior airs is not going to do well for your business. Definitely not going back.

Avoid at all costs!!!! Bought via Groupon vouchers for me and my mum, appointment at 10am both occasions on upon arrival salon closed! The hairdresser then decided to turn up 25 minutes late. On second occasion turned up again 25 minutes late and started arguing with me because I said it's not acceptable that you book appointments at 10am and leave customers waiting. She asked me to request a refund of my Groupon voucher! Never experienced such unprofessional service in my life! Don't waste your time!

I have been to many hair salons in the past asking for a balayage and they always try and rush it in 2-3 hours and it always looked brassy because of my natural dark hair. I chose this salon because the balayage bookings came up as 5 hours. Mahsa did my hair and she took her time to get the color and cut that i wanted. Couldn't be happier! She is so honest as well I really trust her with my hair and I was even getting compliments from strangers! Thank you Mahsa for working magic on my hair!

I visited this Hair Salon for the first time for a hair cut today. I wasn't sure what to expect, but the staff were very professional, friendly and welcoming which really made me feel at ease. Once I explained the style and the cut I wanted, the Stylist delivered excellent results and did an outstanding job. I was very happy with the cut and the service I received and the price was reasonable too. I would definately recommend this hair salon to anyone looking for a hair cut.

I had my roots done to cover my grays. The colour was left on for 45 mins but the grays weren’t covered. They put the colour on again and told me to leave for 10 mins. I said it needs to be at least 20. It was then rinsed off and still not covered. They wanted to do it again but I didn’t. I was told it was my fault because I said to leave it on for 20mins. At least I got half my money back. I think the colours used just aren’t great!

I booked an appointment with this salon as it was my birthday weekend I was a bit hesitant at first as I have short Afro hair, I had a wash & blow dry and the stylist straightened my hair I was pleasantly surprised with the level of care & attention the treatment was in fantastic & my hair was in a fabulous condition after the treatment I would highly recommend this salon it’s a 10 from me .

I'm so so disappointed, with a woman looks like she was a manager, she has no respect to customers and her staff, I believe her name was Mahsa, she was so rude disrespect by treating us. while we were there we saw how she treat to other staff, NOT RECOMMENDED, and we never try this beauty shop ever again. I would give 0 star if I could. Very very untidy. Dirty and no hygiene.
