I had a very unpleasant experience at this post office and cannot recommend it. The staff in this location appeared careless and unprofessional. For instance, there was a Vietnamese lady who seemed to be hired to assist customers who speak Vietnamese. However, when I tried to speak to her in our common language, she replied in English with a strong Vietnamese accent, and her attitude towards other Vietnamese customers was disrespectful and condescending. I believe that as taxpayers and customers, we deserve better service than this. Moreover, there was an older Black man who did not seem to pay attention to what was happening around him. Once, when I was standing behind a lady who told me to go ahead because she wasn't ready yet, he scolded me with a laugh, telling me to wait for my turn. This comment might have been appropriate for someone who actually skipped the line, but it was clearly not the case here. I felt embarrassed and frustrated by this experience. Overall, I hope that the Director or Manager of this post office can improve their service system and train their staff to be more friendly and helpful towards customers. After all, this post office was built to serve the residents of the neighborhood, and we deserve to be treated with respect and courtesy.

I sent an envelope here in september and it hasn’t been received it is november. I came back and asked what happened to the envelope and the lady at the desk told me she didn’t know and if I didn’t like the service there I should go to another one. I go here because it is the closest one to me. This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience here. When I come here the people working at the desk are always talking or arguing at each other and not paying attention to what the customers are saying. She even said that the place I called to check if it was received to, was lying and that they probably did receive it. If we’re not allowed to make a complaint about the service there are we just going to be told to go to different one. How are they supposed improve their service or have people come back if they just tell everyone who has a complaint to to go somewhere else. She didn't even try to find out what happened to the envelope and only kept saying that they have to sent all the letters or they lose their job and it’s our fault that there was no tracking number on it. But since they are always busy taking with each other they don’t pay attention to what the customer is saying.

worst battle experience . I visit this location to rent a po box for my business purpose . But I felt that they were in a hurry to close the post office . Two woman in this location ( one is white/black American and other woman was Asian American ) who were kept on looking at the clock to see if the 11 o clock has shown on the clock . One of the citizen showed up around 11o clock just to inquire about Renting po box and one of the woman words to the citizen were -" this is not a place to come any anytime you want " I felt that was very unprofessional and unethical to talk to a citizen of this country . The way these woman treating citizen was like this is their family business . They need to know and understand that this is a federal government place and they should treat citizen with dignity and respect and don't show any discrimation . I would not recommend anyone to visit this location . Please go to another usps location except this particular location .

I have been visiting this post office for a long time. Since there is another manager, this Sir is so rude, unprofessional. This Post office closes at 4:30pm. It was 4:05pm and he started yelling to the sales lady at the counter that She has to prepare a paper where it reads " After 4pm will not accept packages". So your telling me that your not going to serve any client , that goes to the post office just because its only 30 min left to close. First of all , if I am a client and I am making the line and it is way before 430pm they have to attend me. I work until 4pm and this is the closest Post office I have but this man is certainly going to make every client never go back. The TWO sales associates at the counter are real nice and professional. This manager always has a bad attitude towards the clients. Arrogant, rude and he looks at you like he is going to kill you with his eyes.

DO NOT DROP OFF HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE YOUR PACKAGE. I used to drop off here a lot and there is no problem. 12/4 around 2:30 pm I went here to drop off my package. It was horrible, when I asked for a receipt, Darell K Mitchell, whom I assumed was the manager, said they only scan but do not give out the receipt and I was fine with that then he said about the fragile sticker I got but still let me drop off. The next day when I didn't see any update, I went back and he said he had returned it because my label date was 11/29, and overweight, and told me it come back to me in 1-2days, IT NEVER COME. Even though you are polite and respectful, the manager has a bad attitude toward you, he even talks like he threatens you. The package is worth 300$. So disappointed, they need to re-train every employee and manager here. Go to the Beechnut instead

If I could leave a 0 star, I would! We went to ship products here, it’s a frozen package and we already a insulated foam box and we paid $7-9 bucks for the USPS box too. On the website they said to buy our own foam box & dry ice for the sake of our own products... the total was more than $60 bucks ($54 priority mail + $9 box).. But when it’s arrived, the receiver told me that they took all the dry ice out and even changed the box. They literally keep the new box and ship the old, broken box! When our products arrived, the box is literally broken and the insulated foam box & dry ice are all gone! I never leave bad reviews anywhere before.. but now I have to because I don’t want anyone to have the same bad experience like we did! Don’t waste your money here!

I recently had a positive experience with the United States Postal Service. The customer service was excellent, and the representative was very helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to assist me quickly with my request, which made the process easy and stress-free. I was also impressed with the quick service that the USPS provided. I visited this location today since the one nearby didn’t have passports appointment availability. I am spending my time here as it is worth to let everybody know the high level of service this particular location has. The 3 customer agents were friendly with every customers while I was there processing my passport and they work with no stop all day as you imagine this duty. Michelle in particular was processing my passport and she is very well prepared and courteous while serving you. All Covid-19 protocols you can imagine nowadays are enforced to make you fell more confortable. The doors are even automatic so you don’t touch them. Definitely worth the ride to this location specially if you need to process passport.

It is horrible for applying a passport there. In particular, the worst thing is that the short colorful hair african american female employee keeps saying that i am not the "post office customer" because i am applying for a passport for my daughter. In fact she keeps working on other "customers" and put me waiting for one hour then keeps working on others continuingly without helping me. So i have to leave after waiting for 15 minutes at the passport line and 45 minutes inside - this incident happens on Monday from 10: 20 am to 11:25 am. I hope the US post office management should consider this problem - more systematically logical and discipline.

The service was bad by an old lady over here. I told her send my mail to another country. I did anything she told me, but she told me the city was not available. I told her “I did send it one time over here with the same address”. Why was not it available? She told me “She was master in this office “with many experience. She can do anything. I said sorry to her. I need to help with the people whom have sent my email before it. I go out and stand in the line wait. Then I meet people to help me. She told them did not help me. She could be manager in this office .What the heck wrong with her? She was so racist. Please stay away this office.

I am a long time customer of this post office, but now I am very disappointed with the way a male employee works here. He has a lazy attitude and lacks courtesy to customers. When I asked to borrow a pen so that I could write the address on the envelope, he gave me an unused pen. I told him the pen wasn't working and asked to borrow another one. He told me he only had that pen. After I asked another female employee to borrow a pen, the female staff member gave me a very usable pen. I just want to make suggestions for the staff of that post office to have a better way to serve customers.

I have lost my packages 2 times at this USPS. The first one is a phone which is 200 bucks. The black lady gave me a receipt but the package has never been found although the web tracking showed that It had been delivered. The second time, I went there to return my item to Ebay. That black lady told me that I was good to go and she would scan the packages later. I was too naive to believe that and then my items have gone missing. I believe that lady stole all the packages. Do not go there if you don't wanna ended up losing your items.

I regretted for not reading the reviews before I went here. I dropped 2 packages at this location and asked the chinese female staff if they needed to be scanned. She told me that they don’t scan drop off items here. I was so naive to believe her and now both my packages are gone. I believe they stole them based on other reviews. Both of them worth more than $300 and I don’t have any receipts to prove that they are lost. Please don’t ever use service from this location. Hopefully it will be closed down soon for the horrible service.

Best ever location in all over Houston and surrounding areas. Princess is the best employee and very helpful. I want to apply for a passport and it took only 7 mins with an appointment. Make sure you have all documents (Including picture) ready before applying for a passport. I went to Matlage way, Sugar land USPS last week to apply for my passport with an appointment and they said we do not take passport application at this location then why you allow me to schedule an appointment. Sugar land location was worst.

Just tried to send a big size box (getting from Home Depot 18x18x24) but the officer named Chann was so mean. She tried to make our box looks like over-sized abd then she refused to receive it, even though the other customers also said it was good. And the website of the USPS also let me print the label out. Finally, I went to another store on Beechnut and everything went through without any problem. She's just too lazy to carry the box, and her atitude is suck too. This store isn't deserved even 1 star.

Lady was rude. I just needed to drop off packages that already have labels on them. I even waited in line politely not wanting to skip anyone, even though dropping off take less than 5 seconds. She said she can't accept them bc they are different zip code and this USPS can't accept Houston zip code. Uhh we are in Houston and this location on the address is Houston. USPS need to up their game everywhere. No matter where I go, always a problem. At least I was nice. I'm understanding.

I read the bad reviews and still went there today…well those reviewers are correct. The old black geezer (there is a portrait of him on the wall) spoke to me in a condescending manner regardless how polite I was. When he encountered bad customer(s), he will take his ill-manner on the next customer(s). They can even give you a piece of tape. They’ll charge you $3.99 with tax. Please avoid this location. Go to UPS is cheaper for ground shipping 7”x10”2” sized box for $13.50.

Hours for service is incorrect. I drove an hour to get a walk in passport. The hours for walk in appointments were on the website. When I arrived they said no we changed it. So without any indication of the change in hours I wasted my day because they clearly didn’t want to work. So disappointed they did this without any excuse besides we changed the hours. Then contact whoever to make the adjustments on the website, otherwise it’s just your word against the websites.

If i could leave this place 0 stars i would, i went Wednesday afternoon the line was long one of the workers an old lady started yelling at the people standing at the line like if she owned the place, she should get fired her attitude is unnecessary and unnaceptable then when it was finally my turn the guy never asked what i needed i had to show him on my phone, and didnt say how much it was going to cost, stay away from this post office really bad customer service

I was trying to find a post office to send a package to my boyfriend who is currently deployed and was having so much trouble with UPS and FedEx about the shipping address. Only USPS recognized the address and was not charging me over 1K. My man, Sherman, was so patient and kind. He helped me not only adjust my box, but also save me hella money. Thank you Sherman! Busy man, but took time to help a battle buddy out. May the Lord bless this man & this place.

I have the worse experience in my US Post Office time, I was there on March 10 2015 to re-new my son passport and the clerk on shift Her name is NATASHA I guess she is the clerk supervisor treat me and another people on line to do passport procedures very badly, she scream at us in a despot and overpowering way, if we ever request any help from her she will send us back to start the line, she said to us "THAT'S MY RULE". NOT PROFESSIONAL AT ALL.

I have been mailing priority flat rate packages for a long time and today I go to this Post Office he says if it not documents in the flat rate he have to charge me the weight. Instead of 8.40 he charges me $9.70. Today was definitely it for USPS for me. I will not be sending any more of my packages with USPS. You are being taken off all my websites. Horrible customer service. Horrible experience.......

DO NOT LEAVE YOUR PACKAGE WITHOUT SCANNING! Even if they tell you that you are good to go, they will scan it later. Your package will be STOLEN by them!!! I leave my package without scanning and my package is actually gone forever!! I went back to this store for asking help, and they just told me there is nothing that they can do. if you have any valuable package that need to send, find other store.

Arrived 8.30am for 9am passport walk in process, 3 of us on the line, I left to take recommended medications, returned 9.20am, identified by the 2 people we arrived same time as number 2, Male staff insisted "you lose your spot if you leave the line for any reason " , unprofessional and inappropriate, bad image for this branch of usps, whole day wasted. Above happened on 5/16/19.

I wish I would have got the name of the guy that help me because he was very helpful they have sent me a certified letter for my job trying to fire me on Saturday when the letter was delivered on Saturday so he printed out the paperwork and everything he was very helpful hopefully this will help me with my job thank you very much to whoever you were.

Customer before me was being sweet and polite. But the rude employee wouldn’t even answer his questions. He would just nod his head to yes or no. The customer even told him thank you and he just walked away to the back. Then it was my turn and he didn’t say a word. Just looked at me with an “can I help you” face. The BEST location in Houston. I live in midtown, but handle all my postal shipping needs here. Tasha, Michelle and Sherman are cool. There are two new people, and they are all pretty quick. Check for yourself before believing reviews! I been dealing with this location for almost 3 years and never a problem. Thank you.

It’s ridiculously ironic that this location is in the heart of Asian community, but a black male mail clerk here never wants to talk to Asian people. I witness him happily talking to people of other races. Hope he moves to other non-Asian people location so we don’t have this kind of awkward encounter anymore.

Never go to this post office. The staff is extremely rude. The service is great. The staff is wonderfully helpful. We forgot to bring our expired passports but they let us fill out and prepare all of the paperwork so all we had to do was bring back the expired passports without having to stand in line. Come early so you don’t have to wait in line for a long time.

By far the best post office I have used! I mail tons of international and domestic packages and this entire team has been amazing for years! UPDATE! Still my #1 location i go to. The best staffs. The local office is good, pretty fast. I learned the hard way possibly, i used to want a receipt for my package drop offs, but never an issue, they do scan at the time they close. So many stamps available. Ill keep being a customer, thanks

This place always loses my envelope mail because my family never receives any envelopes I send through here, but they get my envelopes for the UPS on Westheimer and Wilcrest. Driving to this post office is terrible as well due to the ramps, they are high and scrape the heck out of my car.

They are thiefs! I took my package up there to be delivered to my dad, while I was in line a worker said she will take my package.... it was a 2 day priority, the package never made it to my dad. Don't leave your package with them unless you have a tracking number and see them scan it.
