The Redrock Vista Station has a few friendly workers who are pleasant and helpful but some of them specifically the package window post workers have the worst customer service. I Feel they need some sort of intervention to learn how to be more service oriented. It seems that they are very unhappy and begrudging with how they perform. I go to another station for transactions like stamp purchases and mailings and never have any issues, just this branch and it seems I am not alone. The postal worker that assisted me was unfriendly, rude and told me that if I didn't have a tracking number I was out of luck. I said the package was delivered to my address but had misplaced the paper notice and presented my ID to prove my identity. As she was hesitant to assist took my ID with an attitude acting reluctant to do her job. I dread every time that I have to deal with this post office and I hate that I am subject to this location. I am a mile closer to a different office, and just because of my post code, I am forced to have to deal with this incompetency when I miss a delivery. @USPS Postmaster General , you need to have a serious discussion with this branch manager on how they are dealing with their customers as they forgot how to act.

I honestly cannot describe how disappointing this location is. Just about every interaction I've had with anyone at this branch has been negative. The only way to get certain things done at this location is to contact USPS corporate office. They will actually contact the branch, get things fixed, and then follow up with you. I have had two packages lost, my mailbox marked as vacant with my mail taken, multiple package notices left in my box that don't have tracking numbers or any kind of indication of what the package is, AND they refuse to deliver any packages to your door, forcing you to have to come in to the branch. When you get there you are met with extremely long lines and unfriendly service. Honestly, I was in there today for over an hour just trying to find my packages, and this is the third time I've been up there for them this month. I was told that they don't know where they are and that I need to contact the merchant. I think that Amazon's policy of replacement items has made the postal workers very lazy. I wish I didn't have to go back into that building but unfortunately I do not have a choice.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is the first time I have had to ever return something with USPS, so this was my first time being at a USPS office. I had to come to this location twice because they said they didn’t print out Return Shipping Labels and had no way of getting the label from my phone. I find that to be weird, we are in 2022. Level up with your technology. Because that’s absolutely ridiculous. So I have to find a way to print it out and come back. The people working at the front were having side conversation and instead of the lady assisting me with making sure I place the label correctly. I do it wrong, so then have to carefully take it off without ripping the paper from the tape. Honestly the annoying part is lack of customer service, side conversations, and the assumption that I already knew what I was doing. Like your whole point for being here is helping customers lol. I hope I don’t ever have to come back to this location.

Maybe The most worthless post office (update below) I’ve been here several times. This time, I waited 10 days for my new mailbox keys to be made. Waited in line for 1/2 an hour to find out they still are not done. During the 10 minutes they were looking for my keys, they didn’t bother to check for the mail that may have piled up. Did not want to wait another 10 minutes for them to check on that. In the last 12 years, I’ve only encountered 2 employees who tried to do a good job. Update: They said they would call when my keys were ready. Another week, no call, I go stand in line. Get some keys. Drive home and discover they are for my neighbor’s mailbox. Now, both of us are locked out of our mailbox. Another request for keys placed. Yay!!! Update: A very nice woman brought my new keys to me and my neighbor a couple days later. She was very friendly. I upgraded my rating to 2 stars. There are some good people there.

I went to order the mail keys. They said can’t do copy. I had to order the whole lock. I paid $40. 3 weeks later I came get new keys. I found out the new keys not working. The old key I have work well. Mean they gave me the new keys without change the lock. I came to complaint the lady took my key and told me come back the next day to get new keys because they need to send the keys to mail man to check. I came back the next morning as first person I still wait 30 minutes. The other lady helped me not the same with the lady yesterday. I told her the story. She was looking for my key and she could not find the keys in store. Finally she found them by the side of the door. The lady from yesterday didn’t send the keys out to mail man at all. I told my story out to let you guys know how careless of some the staffs in the store. They wast my time. I have to work. Can’t go back there so many time.

Constantly delivering valuable packages to the wrong mailbox (or stealing them themselves)- how hard is it to read numbers? I’ve taken the postal test myself and it isn’t that difficult of a job and that’s the number one requirement. Good grief. Of course no one is honest enough to return them to my address. So many felony violations, police report filed one of the times and this location eventually called (once) to say “sorry we will talk to the drivers.” Not ‘we will fire them’, not ‘let’s find your package and honor the insurance put on it,’ nothing. In-office staff is awful too. Not friendly or welcoming. If you all hate your government jobs, please quit. You get paid more than people who work on the Strip to hand out postage or deliver mail. It’s not rocket science. Read all the reviews- we’re all echoing the same things.

Rude. Just rude. I cried on my way out. I innocently asked a question about shipping my package after waiting in line and the man at the counter told me to not waste his time and come back when my package was ready. I’ve never sent a flat rate priority box so I think it’s reasonable to ask if he can tape the address I wrote out on a paper to the box. They didn’t have labels at the supply counter line like all the other USPS locations do next to these boxes. Now I see why their ratings are low. Good grief. Replace him with someone who’d be grateful for a (government!) job in this high unemployment economy. PS I was trying to ship a dvd for my grandma’s family-only funeral that I can’t attend. Thanks for ruining my day further.

This is the worst of the worst post office. Employees and management are very lazy, they move slow, there's always a long line all the way to other side of the hallway every day, they can't do things right. They collected money for my PO Box keys and never received them. I asked them 3x for the keys, they kept saying not done yet for a year now. Also, I've been getting other people's mail and other people have been getting my mail. Terrible workers, horrible management. I also had packages missing. They said they were returned to the sellers, but sellers said they never received them back. I made a complaint, they did not do a thing. Unbelievable why they let the package thieves work there. Can’t trust these people anymore.

Went to pick up my mailbox keys but the lady said it was impossible that they would be ready that soon so she refused to even go check it. Asked if I should phone ahead next time, she said we have a # but we don't answer it, come back later. Came back a few days later, nobody at the wicket, had to poke my head in and call out to a passing by worker. He came back later to help. Found my keys, envelope said it was done the day before I had previously visited so the original lady was wrong and wasted my trip. Make sure you smile and keep a good attitude because if you rub somebody the wrong way, it is not like you have any other option and you must be thankful for whatever level of service they feel like giving you.

I’m not sure what was wrong with the women working in the pick up only line at about 2pm 12/16 but that women was extremely rude. Many people received vacant notices in their mailboxes & each person online was trying to get their mail, so I get it may have been reparative but the attitude was unnecessary. She told me they sent all the mail back & didn’t hold anything because too many people & they didn’t know. Not a single smile or hello. I explained that I had important things what would be the best way, with her nasty attitude she says call & check with whom ever you are expecting mail from & just stared at me & gave me a look like not my problem. I get people have bad days but heck don’t take it out on people.

  • C Gallegos

The workers are rude, unhelpful and quickly get an attitude for no reason. They also lie straight to your face about not having any padded priority envelopes in the entire building and then put some out later for other people. Like what a weird thing to do. I just needed some of the padded priority envelopes that are always free to anyone using priority labels, which are the only labels I use. Are you too lazy to walk to the back to get some? Do you just feel like telling someone no to be an A-hole? Because I am no different than any other customer who needs them so why are you lying to me? To save them for other customers? Why? Literally just do your job and don’t lie to customers for no reason.

I bought a house a month ago. Have called 3 times and gone in. Don’t have a key to my box. My house deed is in mail box. They have my key but won’t do anything. The old cranky white lady at door slammed it wouldn’t even talk to me asked for a recipet when I haven’t paid for anything. Am now having to deal with internal affairs and a fraud claim this office needs to be cleaned up rude rude unhelpful people and Will is no help either he needs to be fired as well looks like I’m not the only one pisssed look at the 1 star reviews it is too high though should be -100

  • Ivie Briarwood

Jennifer at the pickup window always has the nastiest attitude every time I go. I’ve had to pickup mail twice due to putting them on hold and she is just rude. Said she couldn’t give me my mail if I didn’t live there. This last time I had to pickup documentation from the DMV and she refused to do so because my ID was “void” even though I had paperwork from the dmv that LEGALLY makes up for it. The piece of mail she had was my new ID for the record. Absolutely horrible person - SHOULD NOT BE INTERACTING WITH PEOPLE. Don’t be bitter at the job YOU applied for.

  • Jason Park

Extremely stupid workers. They give a totally wrong information. I moved to Las Vegas from California recently. My friend sent me a package to Las Vegas address. The post office clerk said the package will go to California because I dont do the change of address. This is totally ABSURD. How can a package go to california when it was sent to Las Vegas? The incompetent stupidity level is beyond imagination. Only people with below human intelligence works here. If a bunch of chimpanzees work here, that would be better.

  • Zombie GameZ

For one year they have not delivered my important mail. 3 complaints online and a visit with the manager at the Red Rock Tenaya office who, with no enthusiasm or effort, assured me there is no change of address on file and the issue is resolved, yet my mail is still being returned. This is terrible service and the customer support is even worse. Maybe legal action is the only way. They need to hire some decent people who actually care about their job.

  • Jack VonSosen

Utterly incompetent. Have been in 6 times in the last two weeks to get mail and mail keys. Each time take about 45 minutes to get through a line of 6 people. Got mail keys yesterday and they were for the wrong person. Now I have to track them down. Still don't have access to my mail. Public safety issue is not an exaggeration... Go in with low expectations and expect them to somehow underperform even more. No accountability.

  • Mellissa Rininger

This review is for the lady that is in charge of the packages. The one with the colored braids. There is always the longest line at this location because she is lazy and doesn’t know how to do her job. She’s lost 3 of my packages because she can’t find them. I’ve literally seen her hide in the back and stand there for 15 min pretending she was looking for my package. She needs to be fired.

  • K&A group

Lady in the glasses on the packages , is really slow. 20-30 minutes person that’s ridiculous. And huge line to pick up package Usps must rethink the wage system, make a commission on the number of people served, and not on the hours spent on a chair. Could anyone please send me schedule of the gentleman. He is the only one working there normally and fast , never had a problem with him

  • Lisette Caraballo

Package was suppose to be delivered yesterday. Look at tracking and it says " Delivery attempted, but mailbox was full. Las Vegas, NV" Carrier LIED. It's a large package that should've come to my door. Pure laziness. If you don't want to do your job, APPLY SOMEWHERE ELSE. Now told tomorrow it will be delivered. Wonderful so it can be stolen since I will be not at home to accept.

  • Kerry Boothe

The line to pick up packages very long with only one agent helping. They need more help or at least 2 individuals when the line has 10 or more ppl in the line. This is ridiculous. I left and ran a few errands and came back the same long was still there with a few ppl I left the line for to run errands. The workers here have no urgency.

  • Joon Kim

I’ve made multiple attempts to come back for my package. They have no line at the reception but a very long line at the pick up station because 4 people are working at the reception and only 1 lady working at the pick up. There is always a long line here, morning, noon, afternoon, before close… why do they do this?

  • Luis Batista

This is my usual usps so it hurts to give it 1 star. The drop box inside the facility has been broken for a while now, which means you can't ship packages without a person helping you, which ends at 5. I don't understand why it is taking so long to fix the drop box. Again, without that issue, this place is fine.

  • Bev Britton

Have tried all day calling Tenaya Post office. No one answers the phone & recorded voice states no one can assist you. Try later. Why can’t someone answer phone? Do you need more people to work there, man your phones! Terrible no one can talk on the phone to help their customers.

  • triracialbeauty

The lady at the pick up window with the east coast accent and the facial hair is rude. On top of that, our mailboxes were broke for a month so we had to go pick our mail up. She takes SO long to even check to go GET the mail. 0/10 stars.

  • Russell Mueller

Post office is great, some people that work here don't seem very happy to be there, hard to park here on weekends and evenings due to people from across the street parking here

  • Geraldine Guerrero

Got us our keys. Later a replacement. Smh. Did the mail pick up thing. Sent packages with assistance and self-service. It is a one stop shop. Always busy but they get it done.

  • Joe whatley

Absolutely terrible service....they simply don't care about the customer. I f this were a business, it would shut down. I undwjy it is rated so poorly. I understand the

  • James R. Gorr

It's a post office. Dreary, everyone looks like a zombie. Machine does dispense the single stamping ordered.

  • Livan Alejandro Diaz-Bueno

Great spot, it is good when you could do the self check out and it is empty in the mornings. Beautiful spot

  • A Racquel Vidrine
