++GOOD THINGS The design of the buildings, ease of access to library and documents, some teachers are really good at their job and it has a long-standing reputation for economics. It's not true that this is a "political" university, most of the subjects for BSc in Economics are taught in english. There are a lot of people from different places of the world. It's accessible (metro, tram, train). --BAD THINGS Schedule and timetables are horrible, especially for those who don't live nearby. Sometimes you will have four empty hours between a lecture and a seminar. Forget about working and studying at the same time, since the university itself discourages students from doing so. A lot of subjects have become increasingly demanding with regards to the tuition received in previous years, e.g., asking students to compute complex calculus problems without having been taught how to do so in the past. The quality in teaching (subjective; perceived by me) seems to be decreasing at an alarming rate, which is a trend overall; instead, most of the focus is placed on research. This way, professors are encouraged to work more on their research than on their students, when the latter should be their first priority. It has gone down in terms of global rankings, it used to be the #1 economics faculty, now it seems as though it's no longer the case.

The UPF campus is publicly accessable and worth a visit. Situated in the Vila Olímpica neighbourhood, next to Ciutadella Park and Barcelona Zoo, it was set up in this area as a result of the urban regeneration that came to the city in the wake of the Olympic Games, and breathed new life into three historical buildings that had fallen into disuse. Two of these three buildings, known as Jaume I and Roger de Llúria, owe their origin to the military barracks constructed in 1887. The third, the Dipòsit de les Aigües, had been built some years before and inaugurated in 1880 to regulate the flow of water to the waterfall in Ciutadella park and irrigate the gardens. Designed by architect Josep Fontserè the construction is identical to a Roman prototype, comprising a maze of 14-metre-high parallel arches, which intersect in a barrel vault and spread out with a mirror effect along its 65 metres. Antoni Gaudí, then a young architecture student, contributed to the project by doing the calculations for the support elements. Now transformed into a public library with enormous reading rooms for students. No public WiFi unless you have a student account. The cafeteria sells resonable food at bargain prices.

Worst educational institution I have ever seen in my entire life. In terms of actual education, the university is a joke. The administration is rude and horrendous. No one wants to help you. No one wants to do anything. OMA (international office) is never open. Professors come late, or sometimes don't even show up to class. You have to chase professors and university administration for something as basic as a course syllabus. A good amount of antisemitism among the professors, as well as racism, and pro-Catalonia independence propaganda is everywhere. Even if you are an exchange student, and don't know a word of Catalan, all communication is done in Catalan, without the option of changing it to Spanish or English. Do yourself, and your education a favour, and skip out on this university.

Pésima gestión de los Masters que realizan online. Personal no suficientemente cualificado para asesorar en lo que el alumno necesita, únicamente intentan colocarte en otro Master que no tiene nada que ver con los objetivos que les has mencionado en un principio. Decepción total de una de las Universidades que mejor reputación (pensé que tenía) de Barcelona. La educación no es solamente un negocio, puede cambiar el modo de vida de una persona por completo. Por favor MAS SERIEDAD.

Me parece una universidad deprochable. Empezando por la mala organización de los horarios y lo poco que tienen en cuenta la vida de los universitarios. Además, los profesores parecen no tener ganas de trabajar y se limitan a vomitar información sin ningún metodo eficaz. No conozco a casi ningún alumno que disfrute su carrera dentro de esta universidad. Para finalizar, no recomiendo esta universidad para nada.

Me parece un atentado en toda regla contra el estado de derecho que esta universidad haya aprobado una moción que insta a su consejo de dirección a prohibir el castellano en sus comunicaciones y que obligue a la comunidad universitaria a expresarse exclusivamente en catalán. Pienso que la política nunca debería inmiscuirse en estos lares. Resumen: Universidad publica prohíbe utilizar idioma oficial.

Lo bueno: Instalaciones bonitas, profesores profesionales, los clubes y el campus trabajo. Lo malo: Horarios sin sentido, la teoría no es de gran utilidad para el futuro, a los profesores les cuesta comunicar sus conocimientos y el método de aprendizaje es cuestionable ya que en los seminarios por ejemplo te evalúan sin haber corregido antes el ejercicio.

Bon prestigi, bones instalacions. Si la saps aprofitar en pots treure moltes coses bones, també t'hi apalancar i passar quatre anys parasitan-t'hi fins que et donguin un títol (tot sigui dit). Biblioteca molt maca però a l'hivern fa molt fred i al col·legi del costat fan una fressa terrible cada dia

The level of required knowledge low. The organization works ok, but all the promises they made on the website do not occur. The master in management works like highschool. You learn the minimal understanding and then you write exams about the material. Almost no practical approach.

Universitat filoterrorista, adoctrinan en l'odi al contrari a l'independentisme, una vergonya. No deixen als que volen estudiar i als professors entrar dintre del recinte, i la direcció no fa res, ampara als que impedeixen l'entrada, els que van amb la cara tapada, als violents.

Mala universidad. No se puede estudiar. Las ideas politicas priman sobre los estudios academicos. Sacan buenas notas aquellos que estan de acuerdo con determinadas ideas politicas. Una pena. Universidad publica en decadencia por la dogmatizacion politica de algunos.

Termine el mifit 2 en noviembre y casi 5 meses después aun no se sabe cuando tendremos los diplomas, me parece vergonzoso cuando los necesitamos para trabajar Les diré a todos mis compañeros que pongan la misma reseña a ver si son capaces de enviarlos de una vez

Nefasta atención Apuntamos a cursos online idiomas con un escalado. Anulan uno de ellos en perjuicio del alumno, son ellos los que lo anulan, y tras haberlo anulado y timado en el precio a más de una semana aún no lo han abonado Mucho prestigio per gestión cero

Más que una universidad es un centro de adoctrinamiento. No esperes ser bien tratado o recibir ni medio aprobado a menos que apoyes abiertamente la independencia innegociable de Cataluña y veneres a Jordi Pujol, Artur Mas, Carles Puigdemont y demás farsantes.

Was at a conference there and went to the wrong campus. People at the reception were so nice and showed me in detail how to get to the correct one! (They even gave me a map and drew the direction on it!)

Imágenes como las vistas hoy, 23Feb22, en la que se acosa a alumnos por no apoyar la causa independentista, suponen un descrédito para una institución de supuesta excelencia.

El edificio que alberga la Universidad Pompeu Fabra se encuentra justo al lado de la Basílica de la Merced. Es un edificio neo-clásico de líneas cuadradas y rectangulares.

Muy buena universidad con un trato personalizado que es de agradecer en estos tiempos. No es de las universidades mas caras asi que es bastante asequible estudiar aquí.

Estaba considerando ir a estudiar aquí, pero los comentarios me hacen ni planteármelo, un sitio lamentable en el que parece que se impartan ideas políticas.

Además de ser una universidad, se utiliza para exámenes de función pública y el personal es siempre muy amable.
