New owners, new perspective. I had written this place off last year after having mediocre pizza. Today out of laziness I decided to give them a second chance since I live across the street. I ordered a Margarita pizza. To my surprise everything was completely different and awesome! The crust, the sauce (both tomato sauce as well as vodka), the cheese, everything. I didn't realize they had new owners who have brought their own recipes. Will gladly be ordering from La Mia Pizza again.

We were in a rush to get back to DC, but we didn't want to leave without getting good NY pizza. Luckily we found La Mia (on Google) and parking right outside! Best meatballs we've tried in quite a bit. Pizza crust was perfection itself, crispy, stayed perfectly straight when folded right to the end and the end crust was yummy. Sauce was very good too. Cheese was good quality but needed more of it on a regular slice. We also ordered the Penne a la vodka with meatballs which was delicious. Didn't get to try the jamaican beef patties with cheese because they ran out but they are on the list for next trip. Definitely coming back!

La Mia Pizzeria my go to pizza spot. I’m downtown all the time and whenever I need a slice I never hesitate to make my way. From your regular cheese or pepperoni slices to a wide variety of slices with different toppings. Reasonable prices for quality food. Whether you’re a new customer or a loyal one, you will be taken care of. Real good atmosphere as well, staff and chefs always greet and treat me with respect and kindness. I honestly never leave reviews on places but this spot deserves one, a great review at that. This spot always a come back to for me, will even stop by tomorrow probably. 10/10.

This was my first time trying NYC pizza. We came in to the store around closing time and so hungry . Ordered two braided rolls (one chicken, one spinach and cheese) , both were delish. Then ordered one chicken barbq pizza slice, one grilled chicken pizza slice, pepperoni and jalapeño slice and one pesto,marinara , vodka sauce slice , all were awesome . We were so hungry , forgot to take the pictures . Will definitely visit in next time while in the city .

Pizza was one of the best I’ve ever had! Crust is the perfect amount of thickness and sauce so yummy! Dined in with some friends and we all enjoyed our time there. Would definitely recommend and would definitely come again! Staff is also super friendly!

Very good. Tasty slice of pizza went down well! Good customer service too. You can get one slice of regular pizza for $3.00 (this is excluding tax, which is an additional about 25 to 30 cents, and a non-cash adjustment of about 12 cents. This all brought my final payment to $3.39). Decent quality and affordable food. Also, the waiting time is reasonable. You can also dine in on a table and chairs or get takeout.

A fun place offering various desserts and happy hours. Judging by the design, it is a sister shop of irregular pizza nearby.

We had a fresh cheese pizza. Simple, straightforward with a full flavored crust. I particularly liked that the crust seemed delicate but still had a good chew. The cheese was spot on -- not oily, but still flavorful.

Whenever we travel to NYC we love to test out new pizza restaurants. Eating at La Mia was an awesome experience, super friendly staff, clean tables and some delicious pizza slices om top. Super crunchy and I was stunned by the tomatoe sauce on the Margharita, enjoy your stay!

Pizza is really good here. I asked for the white slice, and the guy asked me if I wanted to try some honey with it. I figured I'd give it a shot and it turned out really good. I'd definitely recommend this place if you just need a slice or if you are feeling like trying something new

This was my first time here but I’ll definitely be back!! The Philly cheesesteak was phenomenal and hot, perfection in every bite! The pizza I ordered was the “personal” size which was enough for two people easily. Perfect fold-in-half slices! No doubt I’ll be coming here again.

Great Pizza!!! I had the Margarita Pizza Yummy. The crust was perfect meaning not too hard or too soft. It had the perfect crisp church with every bite.
