We visited this place for UFC 290 last night. Unfortunately, we experienced a small hiccup upon arrival when someone had mistakenly claimed our reservation under my name, hence the deduction of a star. Our waiter, however, was exceptionally attentive and ensured we were well-catered to throughout the evening. The standout dish for me was the Calamari - the batter was perfectly crispy and it was excellently complemented by the cocktail sauce. The nachos were passable, although I found the salsa sauce overpowering. The chips were somewhat soft, lacking that desired crunch, and the guacamole was just average. I also ordered a pound of Lemon Pepper wings. While they were generally well-cooked and crispy, some of the wings were overloaded with lemon pepper seasoning, which made them overly sour. What truly enhanced our experience was the energetic vibe of the place. There were plenty of TV screens, making it easy for everyone to watch the fight, contributing to the overall engaging atmosphere. Despite these minor issues, our overall experience was enjoyable. It’s rare to find bars in our area that host UFC PPV nights, so this was definitely a bonus. I would definitely come back again and change my review.

I have been here numerous times and every time they exceed my expectations, the owners are lovely and treat us like we are family. It’s a great atmosphere and within close proximity to York University so it is great for students! I would 100% recommended you eat here!!

Honestly, did not have particularly high hopes going in. The menu is posted outside to see beforehand but was a bit off-putting. The descriptions were on point but overall the menu was amateur/dated looking in terms of pictures and layout, and that was a big part of our first impression. But in we went and we were VERY pleasantly surprised. The lady serving us was very pleasant, attentive, and overall great. The food was hot, fresh, and tasty. The prices are extremely good value overall. A nice find!

I was so hungry last week Friday at 8:45PM, & a quick google research brought me to VMV’s. I must say that the environment is wholesome & welcoming I had seafood pasta, and it was deliciously affordable, yummy & filling. The server was great. I interacted with one of the owners, came to find out that it’s a family-owned business, which brought me further joy. The restroom is clean as well!!! Also, I found out you can host a party there too, have your DJ come in & some awesome vibes I will be checking them out again with my friends & family. My second time coming to VMV. First time was when Canada was playing against Croatia in the World Cup. Second time was for UFC 284. Staff is very friendly. The owner (I believe is the Asian lady sorry I don’t know your name) is great. She ensures all her guests are satisfied and walks around to ensure everything is running smoothly. The food is delicious. Highly recommend the nachos, the VMV Burger and the Sweet and Smokey BBQ Burger. My top choices. It’s a great spot for sporting events or just a place to come grab some food in the evening with a group of people. Definitely will be coming back more often and telling as many people as possible about VMV.

Just visited this place for the first time as it is down the street from my office... I ordered a Banquet Burger with a poutine... Burger was great, patties was a great size and cooked perfectly, the Bun was also nice.. The poutine I enjoyed, the Gravy really makes a good poutine in my eyes. The fries they use are great, gives it that chip truck feel. I had this wild cheesecake for desert, so many tastes and flavor's in it, was incredible... Service was amazing and the place was clean. Would highly recommend as I know I will be heading back over and over to try there different Menu Items.

This place must be visited!!! The food and drinks are on the top level. The selection of drinks are amazing and there are a lot of drinks to choose for everyone. The food is amazing and the taste is above and beyond. This place is fairly new and deserves your attention. The owners are the most nicest people you can ever meet. There is always good music and they broadcast a lot of sports including UFC. The is a karaoke available btw! :) Bottom line, this place is amazing and always improving, owners are always listing to your feedback and if you ever have a chance to visit you MUST do so!

Great spot! I always try to bring many friends to enjoy the food here. I usually get the sirloin steak and VMV’s gets my order precisely how I want it. I bought the VMV burger. A burger and fries is not a spectacular meal but at VMVS. IT WAS SPECTACULAR. Not an ordinary burger bun. The fresh taste is rare. I have not tasted a burger like this anywhere. Give this place a try. You won’t regret it. I couldn’t even get my mouth around the burger it was sooo big. Waffle fries. Incredible ingredients on the burger. Cream cheese, avocado, salsa. All fresh ingredients. It’s so big I couldn’t eat it all. The next day the burger still tasted delicious

What a nice change. Staff go up and above the call of duty. First time at VMV Helen introduced herself. I asked her what is good for lunch. She paraded all the food coming out of the kitchen. My friend and I decided to have the special of the day. Cheese burger. Amazing to say the least. I have been back several times with friends. Never disappointed. The BEST berry moijto ive ever had! I got it with soda water instead of ginerale and it was bomb!!! The burger was incredible the best Ive ever had.. salad was great too I was able to do no tomato and cheese on side which was cool. Happy hour beer was only 5 dollars, the steamwhistle 5 dollars and the belgian moon 5. We also had a pound of wings lemon pepper and the breaded was out of this world. Helen the owner was awesome. Overall, 5 stars!!!!!! Woop. Will be back!

Not too busy, it was a Thursday night so makes sense. Had a jalapeño burger, spring rolls, and red velvet cake, patty was juicer than expected but it didn’t affect the burger too much, would recommend everything I ate. Had an amazing experience and would recommend VMV to anyone! We got corn bread, fish and chips, and Fiesta burger - each dish was huge portions and delicious. I don't normally get fish and chips since it is usually heavy on batter, but the one here was a perfect balance and I loved it! Also thoroughly enjoyed the shaken margarita, and the overall ambience of the restaurant. Servers, bartenders, and owner were all super friendly and accommodating. Can't wait to come again!

Amazing staff and one of the best burgers I've had in a while. I would come back for just the burgers. Honestly this place could be a burger joint and it would be one of my top spots to stop and grab a burger. Wednesdays have $15 for any burger on the menu with fries. I went with the smokey bbq with bacon and so juicy and perfectly cooked:) thank you !! haven't tried anything else on the menu yet but I will definitely be back They also offer beer towers and karaoke nights.

We heard about this place after playing at the arena nearby. We came not knowing what the food and service was like but we were truly impressed and the food and service was exceptional…. Highly recommend anyone coming, great TV’s, sound system and truly care about their customers… excellent spot to take your team… very clean and we will be back…. Stopped in here by chance before going to watch the National Bank Open tennis tournament. It happened to be happy hour, so I treated myself to two $5 (14oz)frosty mugs of beer. My wife and I shared a nachos and mushroom pasta. Both food items were delicious. It’s a family run restaurant and I had the pleasure of meeting the owners, as they were working there that evening. Exceptionally kind and sweet people, and the service was very friendly.

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff...The owners were there (family owned business) and were super nice! Above all the food was absolutely fantastic. I had the mushroom burger with an honest to God real homemade patty cooked to perfection. My wife had a nice large portion of fish and chips . Ended the meal with an apple desert with ice cream big enough to share and large mugs of coffee. Highly recommend this restaurant !!

I have taken my time to make this review as I wanted to try many items before reviewing. I have not had a bar with food this great before. Their burgers are exemplary and all very tasty. My favorite so far is the Crispity Burger. All their sides are amazing too. My personal favorite is the Garlic Butter Shrimp. This place has excellent service and just as excellent food. Highly recommended.

I got pasta meal with steak and chicken here, and it was very tasty. On the other hand, what I liked most was the reception. Aiden attended to me, and the dude was so nice. I will be coming more frequently for the tasty food and the good customer service. Thanks Aiden

Incredible food here, first time visiting today. Their cheeseburger is one of the best I've ever had, made in house. I had a fantastic gin berry smash cocktail as well with fresh fruit in it, very nicely done. Prices are reasonable too for the high quality of the food. Think if this place as an elevated Jack Astor's at similar or better prices. Will be back soon for sure.

Came here with my family last week. The service was so friendly and attentive! The food was absolutely amazing. My toddler absolutely loved the chicken fingers. I got the wings and they were amazing. I will definitely be coming back, hopefully for an NFL game next time!

Great service, walked in and was immediately seated. Placed an order for a drink and waited as the rest of my party were going to join me. Drinks were good, came in during happy hour that included the beer on tap. Also ordered the jalapeño poppers and the buttermilk chicken with fries. Didn’t get to take pictures of the food but the place was nice. Service was great.

This place is amazing! The food is delicious and the drinks are just fantastic!!
